ENDING OF THE OLD, BRINGING IN THE NEW!

WEDNESDAY! Good , last morning of this year of 2014! We have all had our ups and our downs,,, if we look at our overall.. but I do remember this one thing,, Our God Has Really Been Loving, Forgiving, and Blessed us all,, overall. When we were down, we were calling for Him,, to help,, and He was there for us! When we were up,, He was there also! But was we hollering and praising? Some were, some not! BUT, I had rather be more positive and think , we all were praising Him with all our might! So right now, I want to say it loud and clear at the end of the year!!!! GOD, THANK YOU FROM ME , AND ALL WHO HAVE READ THESE THOUGHTS, THANKS FOR ALL YOU HAVE DONE FOR US ALL, FOR IT IS MORE THAN I DESERVE!,, ALL THE OTHERS WILL HAVE TO ANSWER FOR THEMSELVES! BUT OVERALL, WE THANK YOU,, AND WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!! Now, as we go through this day, preparing for our celebration of the coming of a New Year from our Lord God,, let us ponder the past year, search as to what we can do better than we did,,, be better than we were,, pray our thanks to You more than we did last year.. and let us prepare to give You, the full credit for all we have had, and for all that You choose to give us in the future, FOR YOU GOD, ARE OUR FUTURE,, OF THIS UPCOMING YEAR! LET US PRAISE YOU MANY, MANY TIMES EACH DAY, AND TESTIFY OF YOU TO ALL WE ENCOUNTER, AND GIVE YOU THE CREDIT FOR OUR ALL!!!!! God, thank You for my Jesus , my Savior of this world to You,,, and all of my other blessings,,, past,,,,,, and for all the future,,,,,, for I know You will be in charge of it all! amen John HIcks Have a great day, and a great start of a New Year tonight at 1201 a.m.! ALIVE, ALIVE!!!!

TUESDAY! A very good morning to all,, and I pray you woke up with God beside you,,, by your request and not just by chance because He is always standing by, waiting on your voice saying, "Good morning God, thank You for this , my day, and I ask will you accompany me through it, and the rest of my life?",,, Now, you and I are ready for our day,,, right? Alright! Prayer Request: For the family of Maggie Vaughn, who passed away 12/28/14, 86 years of age... She was a resident and neighbor of ours here in Yatesville, Georgia, and we ask for your prayers to all the children, grand-children, and to the rest of all the family! For all those families who lose love ones on that AirAsia Jet crash! May God bless them with His arms wrapped around each of those who lost someone! PRESENT AND ACCOUNTED FOR, SIR! If you have been a veteran in the armed forces,,,you have heard this every morning for quite a while, especially in "basic" or after an alteration with the enemy! If not a vet... the you have heard it in many movies... and it is very, very important to be able to say , this statement,, for if after an alteration with the enemy, to say this , means you made it through alive,,, and then you listen to those who do not answer, and the nerves of your brain, heart, and body,,,, wavers as you listen to that silence, especially if that silence is a great friend of yours.. for that kind of lost is one,, that no one can explain that feeling , except the one who does not hear the reply!!!! Now, I want each of you to stop and read this very slowly, and realize what this is saying....o.k.? Now , there was a man, a special man, His name was Jesus. He was born of a Virgin, and born for you, and my sins, lived to teach us all , even now in this day and time and how, well later,o.k.? This man Jesus, was a "KIND" of soldier,, one against sin, against satan, for our freedom to eternal life, and love of all mankind! Yes, so He walked this earth, as Man learned, and some judged for , and some against, but He walked on,, until He was arrested,,,tried, and sentenced to death! He was given a Cross to carry to this mountain,,, where there was a hole already dug to stick this cross in.. and there were soldiers there just to nail this man, Jesus to this Cross, with spikes in His palms, and in His ankles, cut His side open, placed a wreath of thorns upon His head, let that Cross fall heavy in that hole,, thug!!! OH, HOW THAT MUST HAVE HURT, BUT HE NEVER CRIED OUT!,,, and they let Him hang, and bleed to death.. and as He was dieing , he looked up, and called to His Father in Heaven, GOD,, 'IT IS FINISHED", He then died! THEN ,, as the third day came,, the cover of His tomb was opened by the Angels from Heaven, and HE STOOD BEFORE HIS FATHER,, AND THIS IS WHAT I FEEL LIKE HE SAID AND THE REPLY! PRESENT! AND ACCOUNTED FOR , SIR! (yes, He was alive and well, He had survived then and is alive today,, for you and for me! ) REPLY FROM GOD! WELL DONE , MY SON!!!! God, thank You for this reply, for with it we all can at one day, say the same thing to You,, amen John HIcks Servant to my one God,,, and to my Jesus, ,, both ,, ALIVE AND WELL,, THIS VERY DAY! WAKING! With Him or Without Him, YOUR CHOICE!

SUNDAY! Good morning! Waking up ,and giving the Lord the credit for your even being here, and giving Him credit for what all you do have... is the ONLY way to wake up.... even though you might open your eyes,, and see the light of day,,, without Him, you see only the light,, but you do not see LIFE! He is life,, and we must see and know this to be His.. for He has given you this choice to either make or not... NOW ,,, MAKE IT,,, or not! Prayer Request : From Wanda Carraway,, Please be in prayer for my brother Mike Dunaway and his family as he has been sent home on hospice. His cancer went from the size of 50 cent to spread all over in two week time period. For those 162+ missing passengers, who are missing over the Asian seas... please be with them Lord,, and protect them, and all those others still missing! Lord, I ask that this day be filled with all UN-saved to come to Your altar, and fall upon their knees, and join You and accept Your Son, as their personal Savior.. THE DAY AFTER

12/26/14:FRIDAY! TGED! Good morning the day after the most important birth of our lives!!!! We had a great "Birthday Party", for our Savior..We started early off at awakening and thanked our God,, for Jesus, and for Him, for all we have,, then we laughed and talked waiting on our children and our grandchildren to get here(and bring the food).... and here they cam!!!! One behind the other.. and then the real fun started... we laughed, told bold stories, ate, gave our presents.. and watched the children play.... overall the house and the yard! God protected us all as we made our party of Jesus, a happy one for we blessed Him, and gave our thanks and we all cried out our "AMEN!".. I hope all of you had a great one... and that you know that God is real, Jesus is present , just like God, at all times, and no matter the "what and the if's",, THEY WILL BE WITH YOU, AND THEY WILL PROTECT YOU,, & ALL YOU NEED IS FAITH!!!! God, thank You for the good times of yesterday, the ones we will have today, and tomorrow, and knowing that no matter the "whats and the if's",, you will be there for us, and be with us in all we do,, and God ,,, I give personal credit for you being with me yesterday!!! amen John HIcks I just pray that all of you had a blessed day, and that you had God in your heart... and left all that bad stuff outside,,,, and today, I pray that you will love more than you will hate, for love conquerors all!!! KEEPING THE REASON FOR IT ALL,, IN OUR FORESIGHT AND HEARTS!

SATURDAY! Good morning to all, and may You wake up with a big ole "thank You God, for my being, and giving me this day"! It is something that so many of us take for "granite",,, if you lie down to sleep, you are guaranteed to wake up! Not so! Only are we here, but by His will,, so thank about this today as you rise out of that bed, and go off to wander His world, and remember now , just who is in charge of all!!!! Prayer Requests: Please continue to keep those prayers going to God, for Dick Hardy,,, and for his daughter, Amelia! Pleases pray for Pam Duncan and for the Drs. to find the problem with her eye,and to heal her. Also, continue to pray for Millie and the healing of that eye ulcer , which is still causing her quite a lot of pain.. and thank God for sending her and Bill the help needed,, after the water invasion from the upstairs water heater blow out!! Pray for normal to return to them both! Prayer of Thanks: For Bootsie Curry, to be released from the hospital, cancer clear, but she does have a broken hip, and must stay off of it for quite a while, so all please pray for her to continue to heal.. and all wish our good friend only good things! NOW THAT THE DAY OF THE BIRTH IS OVER? NOW WHAT? Yes, now the birthday is over,, have you put up the decorations, played with all the gifts, or wearing some of them,, and have you also put "the reason up...",,, not for storage, but for all to see in your eyes, your heart, your talk, and in all your actions? Yes when we return to "normal" of shopping, back to working, and all of our yards and houseS are looking like they did before the 25th... please continue to raise THE REASON,,, FOR THAT BIRTH, HIGHER THAN ALL ELSE, AND START THINKING ABOUT THE CROSS! God, thank You for Your son, His birth from You, His teachings from You, and the Crucifixion from us, but in Your plans,, and His rising, for all of us... God, we know, and realized, there is no greater love in the minds of "man", than YOU.. amen John HIcks Servant,,,, and so thankful for all of the friends I have,, and for the love of my Jesus, and that He is my Salvation... who is yours???? CHIRSTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THIS GREAT DAY! On this day, 2014 years ago,, Joseph went up from Nazareth in Galilee to Judea , to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house of David. There was no room for him and his pregnant wife in the inns, and about to give birth , they were given a place in the stables... a humble beginning for such a great event about to happen! Luke tells us( Luke 2:6): While they were there , the time came for the baby to be born, and she(Mary) gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in swaddling clothes and placed him in a manger, for there was no room for them in the inn. God put a star in the sky, for the shepherds, the wise men, and all the world to know, the King of Man had been born,, and it was on the eighth day, from Luke's teachings, that this baby was circumcised, and given officially the name of JESUS!!!! Just as God had instructed Mary and Joseph to do.. so folks that is what we are to observed this very day,, with gladness, songs of praise , gifts to each other in His name.. and as we take a deep, deep breath, let us exhale with this MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS! AND THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS BABY, YOUR SON, JESUS, OUR SAVIOR! May all of you have this blessed day,, a merry one, and please let's all love one another this day, and for the rest of the days of our lives!!! KNKOW WHO IS "THE USA"!

WEDNESDAY! The day before the greatest birth of our lives , of this world!!! CHRISTmas eve! Kids, one more day, adn POW! all those papers will be tearing open, and screams, squeals, and laughter, jumps up and down,, and all will see what "ole st nick" has left under the tree for them...BUT, let's all plan on the first thing (after the screams and squeals),, stop , and THANKS GOD FOR THE REASON of this celebration!!! The first gifts to our gift, our SAVIOR! Prayer Requests: For continue to those in that awful Tornado in Columbia Ms. last night, for they have lost all but themselves, and some even lost their love ones, so we must stop, and we must pray from our hearts for these people as we go about our warm and dry homes filled with presents to all.... From William McChargue:Update on my sister. She's doing better she was eating and laughing and watching tv today. God still watching over her. God is good. Continued prayers for Dick Hardy, as he recovers from colon problems, may God smile upon him , and heal him, and keep your prayers also on His daughter, Amelia.. to keep recovering also! For Kala Phillips' brother Jonathan , who was in a bad car accident with four others last night, please pray all are o.k.,, I will post results of wreck as I get them, but until then, please pray for them all. For that grand nephew, to get back on the right road to God's way... please pray for this young man ,,, and to give his mother the comfort that he will come through for her.. and all of his family!!! Thank you all for praying for him!!!! HOW TO BRING OUR COUNTRY BACK TO JESUS! A father wanted to read a magazine , but was being pestered by his little girl. She wanted to know the United States looked like! Finally , he tore a sheet our of his new magazine on which was printed the map of the USA! and after tearing it into pieces,,he told his little girl "put this together, and then you will see how our US looks". After a few minutes, she returned and handed him the map, correctly fitted and taped together! The father was surprised and asked how she had finished so quickly?..OH!,,she said,,, "on the other side of the paper is a picture of Jesus, and when I got all of Jesus back where He belonged,, then our country just came together! SO WHEN WE GET JESUS BACK WHERE HE BELONGS, THEN OUR COUNTRY WILL COME TOGETHER ALSO ! TUESDAY! Good morning! Awake and talked to my God, and You? We are in the days of the need to do more talking to Him, and actions WITH HIM, rather than the opposite!!! People are turning on our Police Officers.. and they need to stop! AT ALL COSTS! I SUPPORT OUR OFFICERS IN UNIFORM, JUST AS I SUPPORT THOSE WHO ARE IN THE ARMED FORCES...FOLKS ,, THE ARE THE LINE ,, BETWEEN US AND SATAN!! Open your eyes, and give respect,, there are more good guys in uniform than bad ones. so wise up, and get a life,, of work, it's not all burn, kill, and get it free!! YES,, my opinion,, like it or not, it's mine! Prayer Requests: For William McChargues' sister who suffered a major heart attack, 100 % blockage, and she has had stints put in, but in critical stage,, please pray for her! For Joanne Samples cousin, Norma Gilbert, who is in critical condition, and the next 72 hours is very, very critical for her.so pray for God to please stand by her! Bill and Millie Billingham, whose upstairs neighbor's water heater burst, and flooded them down stairs yesterday afternoon,, and last night cloths wet, carpet ruined(this happened last Feb), and no heat!!! Please pray for help. for it is cold in Md.. and wet is no way to spend the night! Continues prayers for Dian Summers mother, to continue to improve, and may He bless her to full recovery! KEEPING THE SPIRIT! This is the Season to be extra sweet to people, pray for people, be an example to people, testify of not only the birth of our Savior, but His death for our Eternal Salvation,, for our all , for God who is so good to us, who gave us this world, our choices to do as we want, and even though we have to answer to Him in the end, it is OUR choice.. the "all so many conveniences, of being so blessed, and we give none back!!!!! Yes this is the Season,, AND IT IS ALL YEAR ROUND, FOR THERE ARE SO MANY "SEASONS" OF HIS GREATNESS, THEY START WITH :,,,,, THE FIRST DAY OF THE YEAR, AND THEY END THE LAST DAY OF THE YEAR! EXTRA BAGGAGE!

MONDAY! Good morning to all!! May you have awoken to a great day, by your One and Only God, to not only wake you, but that you gave the invitation to Him to walk with you today, and all the days of your life! We are given this life, and then the way we use it as we become of age of accountability,, is a choice that God gave us,, and we have to make it ,,, not matter as to if we want to,, or not, we must make it,,,, and it is "your decision"! Prayer Requests: For all those who are in need of God Almighty! and that is all of us! so, we ALL need to be praying, and praying regularly, not just in emergencies! PICKING UP THATEXTRA BAGGAGE! As we go through life, we automatically pick up "things" in our minds("sub-consciously"), that is as we hear it, our mind is such a great computer, better than man can ever build.. never misses a word, a picture , an action,, yes, it never misses ANYTHING!! Now think about this: as you pass a person, look at a person, talk to a person, interact with another person,, and even looking in a mirror at "that" person, always re-act to that person, as you want to be re-acted to yourself... and as God would want you too! Yes, this "baggage" , and a lot is excess,,,it is YOURS,, to digest, regurgitate, keep and use,,or throw it away, but it is yours,,, to use in a way that YOU will answer to!!!!.. SO FOLKS, WATCH OUT FOR THIS "BAGGAGE" !!!!,,,,IT IS YOURS,,, AND YOU WILL PICK IT UP EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY!!!!! AND IT BECOMES YOURS! AND YOURS ALONE! GOD IS THE ONLY GOD!

SATURDAY! Welcome , this morning , to another one of Gods greatest gifts, one of His days, as all are.. just on loan for us to enjoy of this great world that He made, and how we do live it,,, for He gave us a choice,,,now, is this not a good , and a fair God?,, after all He made, and all He can do?,, He gave you, and I,,,, a choice to have this world, enjoy all of His creations, and yet, He gave us this "choice" as to love Him or not? What an awesome God! I awake this morning with a toast to Him, thanking Him for my all, and asking Him to please accompany me to and in all I do this day!! How do you choose and who do you toast this morning? FOR THIS GOD IS NOT ONLY THE ONE AND ONLY GOD, BUT A GOD OF LOVE! and forgiveness! Prayer Requests: For Bootsie Curry, who is in the Medical Center with "medical problem", and needs our prayers , and ask God to show the Drs. the "why", and cure her ,& send her home! Continued prayer for Maggie Vaughn, for recovery, and gets to come home! For so many who need our prayers, and we don't here about them, but we can pray for those in need, for God knows all,, so does He know this , for they are in "His All"! Continued prayer for all to receive this season, with the Right Reason! God, I ask for the forgiveness of all of us, and I can speak for me only, that I pick You as my one and only God, but I can request the words from all Your workers, that will show others the way to You! amen John HIcks Libby got a new cast yesterday, wrist healing as it should, and with her new cast.. less pain, not all gone, but lots better! JESUS FIRST!

FRIDAY! Yes!!!! Five more days, after today, left until we get to celebrate the greatest birth ever!!!! Let's shop, with love in our hearts, and not "have too",,, and let's keep Jesus first in all we do... and folks if we do just this one thing, "keep Him first in all we do" ,,,, we will have done it, (What our Father God wanted us to do, accept His Son, first and foremost!" Have a great day, use it wisely, for this day only comes around once in a lifetime ! WE , TOO , ARE SHEPERDS!

THURSDAY! And another day unfolds in the lives of all of us...and how we write this day,,, well it is up to us, for the choice was given to us,,, by God Almighty! As you make decisions,, remember , as we write out our day, with our actions, He is recording it in all of our Book of Life,,,, and YES,,, we all have one,, just wait, and you will have yours pulled one day,.. so be prepared,, start your preparation today! Prayer Requests: For Amelia's father who is suffering form a mass in his colon,,, pray for him and family,,and continue to pray for Amelia! For Mandy Vaughn who is having problems in Macon Hospital,,please pray for her recovery, and her return home soon! For our neighbors down the road, where at least three fire trucks and our rescue truck were dispatched last night at about 6 p.m.,., still waiting for the why, and praying in advance for this family, please join me in this also! THE SHEPHERDS OF THIS WORLD! We all have one special Shepherd to watch over us, and retrieve us back into the flock,, but we also are shepherds of His, to do the same! Now , I ask, just how many of you carry your shaft with that crook to pull back those who are straying and carry it in the open, and never feel like "not" showing it,,, use it to tell the story, testify to all we meet, or do we just pass on by, hoping the preacher, or one of the deacons will do it for us...NO,,, it is our job also,, TO BE A SHEPHERD OF GOD,,, OUR RESPONSIBILITY,, SO DON'T DENY IT!!! GO FOR IT! God,. thank You for Jesus, and for that shaft with a crook for us also to use..amen John HIcks Servant,, and I also need to get off my lazy behind and do more! OUR PRESENT IS ALREADY HERE!

WEDNESDAY! Yes, as we awake to the day of the"camel",,, we all need to back up a step or two...and realize jokes are jokes, and we all know that this day is God's , only loaned to us for a day? We make plans all during the day, and days of our lives,, , BUT, He says , Do today and do not worry about tomorrow!,,,, and when asking, ask only when you enter, "if it is Your will" ,,, (meaning, if it is God's will, for those who don't interpret some of my writing!) So, let's start out today, with a big shout, "THANK YOU GOD FOR MY DAY, THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME!" Now we are ready and off to a day of meaning.. for without Him, there would be NO meaning, nor NO day!! Thank about it!!!! Prayer Request: For all those survivors of that large massacre of those 142+ children,, and may God deal with those who are responsible as He will do , in His own way! WRAPPED AND READY? Well , it is the season of seasons...the starting of the birth of our Savior! and will end with the finally at Easter! We will have our present of 'Life Eternal" ,, that no one else can give except our God Almighty!!! Why the heading this day? Just a question that is so simple, HAVE YOU ACCEPTED JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR ,, WRAPPED YOURSELF IN HIS ARMS, AND IF CALLED BY HIS, AND OUR HEAVENLY FATHER ,,,READY! So simple, so why not are more doing it? Lord, I accept You, I am ready, for I know once I have You, there is a way to my Heavenly Father,, and no one can stand in the way,,, amen (satan, you lose!) John HIcks Servant, and so very thankful for my God and all He has given to this man, and to this family!!!! His love abounds,, just as ours does right back at Him! Where have you pointed your love?

TUESDAY! Good morning to all! and I mean to "ALL"! For it is up to us to wake up with Him, and to do this,, we must wake up with love of our fellow man in our heart! Now ,,after this we pray that "they" will all wake up with Him in the same way!!!!! Prayer Requests: For those innocent Taliban children , and all others killed by those "killers" ,, from the same ones that want to kill us,, and we should pray for those parents and love ones left.. and pray for God's wrath on those others who carried out this crazy violence! For those killed from that "ex-solider" went crazy,, and killed so many, pray for the survivors, and that they will catch him, and deal with him! For continue prayer for my good friend Amelia,,, that her healing continues! SO MUCH!!!!! ,,, GREED, KILLINGS, RACISM, LOOTING, ONE AGAINST THE OTHER , FOR NO REASONS... WE AS MAN HAVE COME AROUND, IT IS NOW TIME TO RECESS!!!!!! YOUR OPINION????? GOD'S CHRISTMAS CAROLING GROUP!

MONDAY! Well good morning to all,, on this,,, another of His great days, and we are off to a great start, a toast to Him , our God and only God..our coffee together, the biggest smiles still upon our face, as we re-live our great surprise of being serenaded by our church with Christmas Carols last night,, as we stood upon our porch listening to the wondrous voices of those of God, from the smallest to the tallest, the youngest to the oldest....we felt so blessed,, so to all, we give our thanks, and to tell you how much we enjoyed it,,,,for there are not enough words, nor time for us to write or say so we will just say this.." God is still at work, even on the streets! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!! AND THANK GOD FOR YOU ALL! " Prayer Request: For all in need of God,, for all of us to pray for these for His will to be done! WHO DO YOU WORSHIP?

SUNDAY! Awake, an thankful to Him ,, first and foremost... my gift of JESUS CHRIST! What is your first "awoken" thankful to God,,, of this morning? Prayer Request: For all those who are un-saved by Jesus Christ this very moment, this hour, this day,, that all of pray that they will come unto Him, accept Him as their very own Savior, and worship none other than the Father! AND WHAT DO YOU WORSHIP THIS DAY? If we all would ,, and I say we which includes me,,, would pick up our Bibles and read it, as much as we pick up our cell phones, read all our texting replies, and can't wait to reply back,, and as each of you I see holding these devices,, have a certain smile on your face... I don't own one, so I cannot say that what you are looking at is wrong, mine is still the ole flip phone! I laughed the other day as I handed it to my daughter to call her sister,, and she said "Oh gosh, I think I have forgotten how to operate these!",, then I also laughed, for it seemed just like yesterday, it was the "pager"...remember? I am not downing progress, but I do down progress that is more important than religion, talking to a person face to face.. listening to them eye to eye and not looking down , moving your thumbs as you are talking! Maybe I am old fashion,, but I still know the reality and the love of a conversation, even if I do talk a little too much! but at least I do talk to the person, and I do look at the person.. when in a doctors office, or other places, like your church, all phone are requested to be turned off...no "on vibrate, and texting while the sermon , or prayers is happening! so, I say this morning ,,after all this "crap" as you will call it, ,is exactly where "he" wants us,, something to camp out, hunt for , give to our young who can operate one before they can recite a Bibical verse,, am I wrong? or not? You may and are invited into this one!!!! So , go ahead and hit the reply, the comments, for I write from another.. you be the other judge,, AGREE, OR DISAGREE, You cannot live without your cellphone? Lord, lead us back to You , first and foremost in our lives, and let open Your Book as much as we open our phones, and live by Your word, and hear Your ring, before it is too late! amen John HIcks Had nothing to say this morning , until I started to write, and here it is ,,,like it or not,,, but I still stand by the word,, and I stand tall, straight , and first for my God,, and I only ask who is your god?

WAKING UP!

SATURDAY! Are you awake and ready for it? Life, as we are given by our Lord, or do we awake with a hard heart,, one of ,, "we want more!",, BUT what better than that of waking up ,, period, for it is He who put you to sleep, it is He who awoke you to enjoy another one of His days.. to make the choices ,, we all , and so does HE, that they will be good ones.. and if one of them is to accept Jesus as your Savior, then that will be the greatest decision you will ever make! ,,, and if you are not saved, and you don't make that decision, remember one thing, LIFE IS GIVEN IN LOVE, NOT A GUARANTEE! Lord , I thank You for this day, and the chance to celebrate You, and to testify of You, with no regrets... and I pray for all those that woke up with harden hearts, that You will soften them up..and I thank you for all those that woke for YOU,, and only YOU! .amen John HIcks Servant only! Libby went to the Dr. yesterday, re-x rayed, arm looked good, still swollen, stitches out, hard cast put on, to have a re-check and get another new hard cast in one week, then a three week re-check, and then we will see where to then! Praise God for He is good!

GOD IS HERE!

THURSDAY! Great good morning! Not long and "OLE " Santa will be trimming your tree.. so you had better be nice!!! And don't forget to trim your own tree, for that special day on your life,, when you will meet the master,, and to trim your life, all you have to do is say, "Jesus, I accept You as my one and only Savior!! Forgive me of my sins, as You forgive those who you have sinned against!" NOW ,, your tree has been trimmed also!!! Prayer Request: For the continued prayers of Dian Dunaway Summers, mother.. who is still having lots of pain, and pray much for this lady! For God to continue to heal Libby Hicks , as swelling is going down, and she can move her fingers,, and on Friday, we will see with new x-rays, & see just how it looks now! ( also, please include me ,, for three days ago the doctor has diagnosed me with acute bronchitis,, and have been doing some heavy duty coughing,, & sore,, but see some improvement with antibiotics + other meds. he is giving me! ) Prayer of Thanks: To my nephew, BILLO HICKS,,, Who has just earned his Bachelors in Theology, and minor in Christian Counseling! WOW, God is good, and folks this man did this while raising a family(large family)... He is dedicated to His God, and I know already, that God has lots already lined up for Billo! God bless you our Nephew, as I know your family is proud of you, and your Dad,, as he looks down upon you!!!!! We love you!!! GOD IS HERE! Surprised? Maybe your surprise is ,,, you haven't been talking to Him lately to see where He is, remember not talking to Him? ,,, for He is everywhere, and He is everything!!! TIME TO "OWN UP"!

WEDNESDAY! Good morning to all, and may you have requested God by your side from waking to sleeping, and then back to sleep, and the start of it over, and over..( per His Will)! Once again, as I listen to the news media tell of our being soo hard on those caught trying to kill this Christian Nation, and these they speak for ,,, yes, they have sworn to kill us all, man, women and children, and even infants,,,, and to try with all their power to do so.....BUT for those who thank our GUARDIANS OF OUR COUNTRY, OUR BORDERS,,, are too mean, hurting too bad, making these killers not hurt, but give them our best of treatment? How about our captured? and this is why I ask you to read on...... I ask this, WHY ARE YOU not over in the headquarters of the ISSI, Alqueda, in the bowels of Africa with those killing thousands at a time, like those above,,, from cutting heads off, pulling out fingernails,,, toenails, a finger, maybe even an ear or an arm, leg.a tongue.. anything to make them talk,, WHY are you here????? SETTING ON YOUR DEAD _ _ _...and tearing down the only barrier between them and us? You are and I repeat,, IDIOTS!! CHRISTMAS OR CHRIST_ _ _LESS?

TUESDAY! We are awake, and we have thanked our God for the night, and the day, and put our lives, in His hands for the rest of this day, and the rest of our lives! No complaints,, for we have more than most billionaires... so very rich, and our riches never falter, no matter what the stock market does nor what the world does.. He does not rock,, He, our God, is steadfast, and the same everyday He allows us to enjoy!!! How is your day starting off? Prayer Requests: For a good friend of our, Henry Hawkins,, who has just undergone a breast cancer operation. He will be starting his chemo today.. so please pray for this "good and Godly" man... for he told me yesterday,,,, God still remains number one in his life, today, tomorrow, and that nothing has really changed!!! What a testimony of "The Love of God" ! Also , for Lucy Hawkins,(Henry's wife) who will be returning to work for the first times, since she had to have her toe amputated,,,now healed and ready for work, another of a great testimony, first the husband ,,,then the wife,, wow, bet this put a smile on all those at the exit out of Walmart as Henry and and I talked of this!,, and most of all a greater smile on our God! CHRISTMAS, OR CHRIST_ _ _,LESS? Short , but to the point this day! I ask you to STOP, and SERIOUSLY ask yourself this question.TODAY, answer and THEN ON YOUR WAY AS USUAL,,, with trees decorated, yard lights abounding, stores offering greater savings than the one you just left... toys, clothes , tools, all things one can buy is available,, to fill your Christmas Spirit,and all those stockings,,, as you shop with enthusiasm of the upcoming day,, the opening of the presents, the hot chocolate, just the day!!!!! Are you thinking as you go through these days of rush,,,, of the birth of little Baby Jesus on your mind and in front of you, or is He dragging way behind? And how this day came about, AND WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT!!! OUR JESUS CHRIST'S BIRTH!!!!! Now, go on and be happy, sing of Him, and have a great and merry shopping time, just take HIM with you on these trips! God, thank You for our gift , of your Son, born for us,, and to save us, amen John HIcks Servant!

AND AS WE SLEEP, HE WORKS!

MONDAY! Well, here we are, because of a love of loves, that we can never come up to the level.. and that is the Love of Our God, for we are are here are two signs, the world still is in tact, and HE has smiled on us , to have ,yet another one of His days! Oh, how can one not return that Great Love, with an outburst of saying this , very loud? Prayer Request: That all will stop today, give thanks not for just their freedom to be in this free nation,, but to give outward, and audible thanks to God Almighty,, for this upcoming season, and pray, we , as Christians, keep it as a celebration for the birth of our Savior, and not for Black, Red, Yellow or any other color of the day.... not for gifting but that of thankfulness!!!! SURPRISED,,,, FOR MY START OF MY DAY! Since Libby's accident,, she has made her bed in her recliner... so she can keep her arm angled up.. and she has been doing this with class.. even as the pain comes and goes. she has gotten up only as necessary, and to stretch occasionally... and I have had the opportunity to return some of that "her waiting on me", all the time.. and even as she likes it, she would never want it this way! All of you know, we start our day off, with the awaking to our God, giving Him the credit for our awaking, and for all we have, and then we go to our little "hut", have coffee , with our little "pug",, giving him his treats, and always , our first toast of the day is to God first, then we drink and enjoy each others company! ,,, and since the accident, I wake and get all the coffee, and things ready,,, knowing that she is awake and waiting so patiently, arm in pain, but she waits patiently, and to show that God does work miracles.. .this very morning as I awoke at 5 a. m., I could smell coffee, and that girl had ALREADY, ROSE,,, AND MADE THE COFFEE,,,,, AND HAD ALL THE CONDIMENTS THAT GO WITH IT!,,,,, Right there on the bar, ready to go and drink that first cup... what am I saying this morning? IS GOD NOT ALWAYS AT WORK, EVEN WHEN WE ARE ASLEEP, HE IS HEALING, AND GIVING STRENGTH TO HIS OWN! So never fall short of His Glory, for He is always there with all the love of the world! God thank You for our all, and we still ask prayers for Diane's, mother in Ms... to continue to heal her and also all those others who are in need you, John HIcks Never get tired of the Miracles He shows us,, how about you? and I toast each of you to a great day ,, right after that other toast!

BEING PAIENT!

SATURDAY! And another good and great morning to each of you, just as we are having, and smile, for it all comes from Him! And we believe JUST that! God puts us to sleep, and God wakes us up, then He leaves it up to us as to whom we decide to serve....and that is called "choice",, and one o the greatest ones that you will ever make in your life!!! So, I ask for all to follow and come to Jesus, and be saved eternally! Your choice! Prayer Request: Please pray for "Blessing" Wynn.. who is in need of many , many prayers! We ask!? Then we wonder!? Where is He!? We must learn, that we are on HIS schedule, not ours.. so when we pray, pray for God to re-act, then, be paient,,, He will as He sees fit as to when you or I need it.. sometimes it is instant, sometimes it is like an eternity, and we,, sometimes think, gosh! I asked for this years ago! And so you did, and He heard you, and He re-acted as of your actual needs.. for He loves you with all His heart ,,, and He made you,, and I, so think just how big that heart is, and just how big that love is.... So Pray, Wait patiently, and in silence, and He will follow through!!! We both would like to say this morning, again , thanks for all the well wishes of love and your prayers... and I guarantee, we have answered them all in our prayers to God! Love always abounds,,, when you live in God's presence,,, sometimes you don't see the why, but wait, have faith, and you will then see the "why",,,! God is absolutely, alive, and well today, and don't anyone forget this..... We are doing great , for what we are to be enduring, and we know that others are worse off than we, so our prayers are: GOD,, please take care of those in need of you, those who can't even get, or set up, completely bed ridden,, hurting really bad,, those waiting on them and waiting with the faith of You,, by their side, never giving up their hope, their faith in You and they know within their hearts."Lord, YOU are their only hope...and we pray to You this day, for we know, YOU ARE THE REAL HEALER!" amen John HIcks Servant!

GOD FIRST, OVER ALL ELSE!

FRIDAY! (TGED! ) Good morning,, and as we wake up to a great day with our Lord,, we both have to toast to His great love,, and our so many, many blessing!!! For no matter what... we do, and will always put our God first in all, and our over all! I really think that ALL should really STOP, and think about that above statement of God first, and above all.. for HE is All...even though it is not always "winning the lottery"(meaning , having your way all the time) ,,, for even as you lose that lottery,, there is a reason, and that reason is HIS , NOT OURS TO QUESTION! Prayer of Thanks: For God's help with Libby,,, and to all those sending-in their concerns,,, we do appreciate, each and every one of them!!! ,, Libby had a fair night, sick and hurting this morning, but overall, great for what she has been through, and thank You , God for our all.. HE IS ALWAYS THERE!

THURSDAY! Good morning to all...and may you have thanked God as you awoke from a night of rest with Him at your side,, when you retired to sleep, and when you awoke, both , by request from you! We had a good night , with what Libby had to try to sleep through, and she did, in her recliner... She is resting and has been meeting the pain of this crazy break like a real trooper,, I am sooooo very proud of her!!!! She will have surgery at noon today, in Columbus Georgia, and then it will be "us" on the road to recovery, God, Libby, and with me trialing behind! I ask all to please pray for this lady, as she has always kept her God first and foremost! Prayer Request: For Wanda Dunaway's brother, who is in the hospital in MS. with pneumonia. HE IS ALWAYS THERE! Yesterday was a frighting time, one of many in my life time... and as soon as I heard the bad news, I reacted like any other person.. first I was scooting here , there, and then in my truck driving with destructive speed... rushing, for fear had entered my mind, then as I hit the road, I could feel , and hear those words of comfort, I am hear, do not fear, for I am with you, and her ,, always! You may say, oh yes, you hear things too! Well ,,,as I smile on writing this, I will say,,,,,, if you have faith in God, as I , and as Libby does,,,,.. then YES,, we do hear,,, how do I know, for He has said it,,,, NOT ME. SO LISTEN AND YOU WILL HEAR, AND YOU WILL FEEL HIM, AND ALL IT TAKES IS FAITH! Lord, thank You , not for the fall, but for the catch, for it could have been so much worse, and yet as I arrived , looked at Libby, I was terrified, except for that look on her face, and that was that You had beat me to her side,, and I give You the credit, and I also ask for all to come to You on bended knees,, and pray for that widow who lost her husband,,,amen John HIcks I don't believe in getting into lots of "none of my business".. but this last thing, from what I can tell,,,needs further investigation, for I do not judge, but I am also not blind,,, my opinion!

God's nature!

WEDNESDAY! Good morning this of another day of His, our gift, I thank Him for it! How about you? Now for the news of what I had,,, as all know Libby and I had our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary on the 28th of Nov. ,,, Our three children, four grandchildren gave us a picture of the grandchildren that we wanted to put on our wall in our "new" den.. a place Libby has kept open for so long... now we have it,, well then their was one more surprised,,, a trip to Calloway Gardens, and their Fantasy In Lights.. reservations at The Lodge and Spa.. and WOW! Did we have a great time.. This was a treat they new "I" would never have gone to, but thanks to them,, Libby got to see them, and I also, and now, I wonder, why did I not do this earlier... Children may fly the "coop",, but beleive me, ,they know what their parents really want,, sometimes, even more that we do!!! My story to share,, now the sharing of what I felt,,,,, while there. Prayer Requests: For continued prayer and healing of Alyne Dunaway, surgery on her elbow, with a plate,,and screws.. hip still in place, and time for both to heal... Continue prayers for Bobby Sanders,, that all tests will show good results! For litlle Hayden Hayes, son of Jeff and Kristi Mullings Hayes, who will be have a T&A at Scottist Rite on the 20th of this month.. these people are great Christians, and we know God will be there, and let us tell all of their great faith in Him.. and let's start praying now! AND THERE , STANDING TOGETHER WERE ALL! This is the story of what I saw, then wondered about, serached my mind, and then talked to God about,, and would like to share these thoughts with each of you... This all happen one morning as we set on the little small balcacony of our room, that overlooked the woods, not twenty feet from us , with a brook running down through the middle of it... and being the start of Autumn,,you can imagine at the colors of this site! As teh sun rose, and it's rays shown on those trees, and the aniimals ran here and there.. I looked directly at the trees,, some with leaves , some without, some evergreens, and would never drop thier leaves.. small nandinos... some off yellow, almost orange, some fire red,, but so colorful... and what I saw and what I ask God, was this,, "God you created all.. and I am looking at one of the forrestes you created, and I see different trees, schrubs, living side by side, with not limbs reaching out to the other to wipe it away, but living in harmony, together, diferent in type, color, orgin,, and yet, "together" ,,no fighting each other for space, rather engulfing your sunshine, your dew for water, the leaves for the fertilizer to start another generation,, and then out here looking in,,,,, is "MAN",, who is never satisified,, to live together, as you intended... COLOR BLIND TO ORGION , COLOR , RACE,,, AND TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER, AND MAKE ROOM FOR ALL, FOR WE ARE YOUR,,,,, ALL!!!!! and as I took a breath, I prayed ,, God , help us, "man", to realize we are Yours, and show us again "how" to live and to live as YOU want us to live,,, for You first, and foremost...and let nature show us how.... amen John HIcks Yes, a story we all know this morning, but it is a story of somethig to think about as we hear, see, and feel those "differences" we do have, and we do show! My opinion, and I know a lot of you have your own, and that is part of God's greatness in our creation,,, not one is alike, but the three things He did give each of us , life, love, and choice! and yours? TUESDAY! Today's thoughts are late, due to a big surprise from our three children, of which I will have to tell of in the morning,, anyway, we have just arrived to our house, and ready to kick back, as soon as we get through with all the "Pug" loving.. for..oh my, my, if we could all only be like them in their love, and devotion, and stand by us no matter what,,, would into the world be so much better off... but even as God gives us guidance,, there are so many who walk down the wrong path... stumbling,,, and falling, when all they have to do, is be like this little pug.. look to their Master,, Jesus, and HE will pick them up.. but so many go on down that road!!!! We have the chance of "CHOICE",, but ,,HE LEAVES IT UP TO US, NO PRESSURE, BUT ALL LOVE!! SO TODAY,,, PLEASE MAKE THE CHOICE , WE WILL CALL THE "PUG CHOICE" FOR TODAY, AND ASK JESUS TO COME TO YOU WITH ALL THAT LOVE, DEVOTION, AND THOSE ARMS TO CARRY YOU ANYWHERE! Prayer Requests: For Alyne Dunaway, mother of Dian Dunaway Summers, (who is one of my really best friends,), and her mom Alyne has fallen, broken her left elbow, and pelvis.. She should have had surgery today on her elbow, and the pelvis is in place, and will have to heal in place. Please pray for Alyne, and for Di as she stands beside her. For Bobby Sanders.. Libbys brother.. who is undergoing extensive tests this week to see why his blood palettes are not staying consistence.. so please pray for him , He will be doing tests A to Z.. so you know how stressful these can be, and pray for a great and good results for our God Almighty... God , please visit with those mentioned above, and God I ask that you do YOUR thing, and we know that what ever that be,, it will be right.. and it will be YOUR love... thank You for all we have.. amen John HIcks Late ,, but had to get these out for today,, have a great rest of Gods' day!

GOD'S LOVE!

SATURDAY! After yesterday, this day is of rest of the heart,,, for yesterday ,,, it was still beating of love at a rapid rate of God's gracious and precious gift to us... and today,, He and I, and Libby will kick back , and enjoy the three of us!!! Only when we see God's grace do we celebrate.. but as I say today,, and each day,, you should kick back, and with Him invited there with you..and in all you do decide it to do with Him...and they you will be so relaxed,,, and have a feeling that only doing it, can you experience it!!!! Prayer Requests to All: Please pray for David Samples, as he has a bad respirtory infection with a really bad cough.. please pray for God to touch him and let him recovery from this! Please pray for Maribeth and Sammy Gibbs little one Tristan,, who has been diagnosed with the flu, and for the older son, Dylan who is showing signs also...May God touch these little ones, and also may I brag and say , these two are my great, great, nephews.. God loves all four of you... GOD'S LOVE! Is there, don't you see it? feel it? know it ? FRIDAY! TGIF,, and on this very date, November 28, 1964,,, 50 years ago, it was TGIS,, for it was on a Saturday, that the Lord God joined Libby and I, Husband and Wife,,, and yielded us His love, and gave us three wonderful children, and great help mates to each of them, and four grandchildren,,, and I just don't understand how anyone could have any love at all, for it seems as if HE gave it all to us.. for even through all our tribulations,,,,, HE has held this bond, of love of each other , HIS strength, has kept us high and dry,,,,, HIS believing in us and HIS forgiving us of our many, many shortcomings.... as we all have..for with Him , do we understand this one thing,, WE ARE HERE ,,BECAUSE OF HIM, AND FOLKS ,THERE IS NO ARGUMENT OF THIS, HIS HAPPENING! So, today, men, grab that woman you love, and tell her you love her.. and every morning as we have done, even when we were separated by work,,, we told each other this, every morning, and every night.for we were on the phone to each other..and we also thanked our God each morning for His rising of us, and every night of His laying us to sleep for the night,, so,, these thoughts today are a tribute to these fifty years, not to us,,, but TO OUR LORD AND GOD!!!! (And one little note: there is no way Libby could have done all this without His help..and that is just putting up with this ole boy! I am compelled by my own conscience,, to just say a few good things, for I have just witnessed an interview with this "Mom and Dad" of this "poor" boy who was shot in Ferguson, and I am sorry for his death,, and the thanks NBC gave them for just showing up, to give this interview.. and how great this young man was, from them , and not to be surpirsed by this, they are his mom and dad, and provided a home together for him,,(didn't they?)_ , and I am sorry they did not show that other picture of him robbing that convince store. So, I am just going to ask that al lot you pray for this Nation, "that town", those looters ,, those thugs, and let's move on as "their " mentor "Dr. Martin Luther KIng" cried out for most of my young life,,,,NON VIOLENCE!!!!!!!!! God, forgive our harden hearts,,, but Lord give us the sword You gave Moses , and all those other followers of Your word, to protect our own,, as we still stand for You first, and will only use this Sword,,, as You show us to do so! TUESDAY, GARBAGE DAY!

TUESDAY! Good morning to all....and as Thanksgiving approaches,, let's all stop,, make a mental note of just what we are thankful for! I can go on, and on of things that come to my mind,, and then after I am finished,, another zillion will enter into my mind.... so I do go the easy way out....and that is to cover all these things,, I just go right to the top,, and Thank Him For My All!...and then as "things" do enter in, they have been "already" thanked for!!!! Prayer for our Nation: For we are a Nation that needs healing.. for we are bleeding pity, greed, and the breaking of laws.. all the way to the top. TODAY, IS TRASH DAY! Every Tuesday, my wife and I always say as a little cheer, of our own little "thing" for our Tuesday,,, for Here in Yatesville, Georgia.. it is the day that our Garbage Collectors pick up our trash, and as for me,, we have a good company, and we are totally thankful for these two guys,(and they change with the wind)..for doing this job... and riding us of the trash.. the spoiled things, the broken things... the things no one wants....and what am I getting to today,, is this: Decision has been made...in Ferguson.IT IS GARBAGE DAY! ... now put it all to the past! Learn from it.. that looting, stealing, burning, hurting others for a reason that really does not mean a damn thing to YOU who are doing this, except that big ole T.V. you are watching right now, THAT YOU STOLE, YES YOU STOLE! Now is the day in Ferguson,,,, to say this, TODAY IS GARBAGE DAY! SO LET'S PUT ALL THE THUGS IN JAIL, ALL THOSE UNRELATED TO THAT OFFICER OR THAT YOUNG MAN,, GO HOME! AND LET'S ALL PUT THE MEDIA IN THE GARBAGE BAG, LET THE PICK THEM UP AND TAKE THEM TO THE LAND FILL... FOR THAT IS WHERE MOST OF YOUR REPORTING BELONGS. AND NO MATTER THE DECISION OF THE GRAND JURY, YOU, MEDIA,, WILL READ WHAT YOU WANT INTO IT. SO YOU CAN KEEP THIS GOING ON, JUST AS LONG AS WE LET YOU! IF YOU GO,,SO WILL THE DISTURBANCES, FOR THEY HAVE NO WAY OF GETTING AWAY WITH IT THEN! SO, ARE YOU WITH ME, AND LET'S PUT THE GARBAGE IN THE TRUCK,, AND WATCH IT DISAPPEAR? MONDAY! Well, I just had to delete my thoughts this morning as they were from me,, and not from who I feel like they should have been! So, this morning I will just ease out of this feeling I have, and have seen,, but do you see more sheep, and goats, being grown in our country than was ten years ago? Do You see any difference in how the Indian, fed us, then how we fed them back,, O.K. I will stop, and I will pray that God will give me peace of mind! Lord, I pray for a great week, and peace to all,, and may all go this week with a smile.. amen John HIcks Short, but have a lot on the mind , of this country, and of how it is previewed, and exactly how it is ,,,,, in reality!! GOD" OVERFLOWING LOVE!

SUNDAY! Good morning to all! I hope ;you all woke , said thanks to God first, then hello to the world after...for He should be held first in all we do...but we and I mean we,, all fall short of this,, every day,,,, no matter who, we all need to do more "knee" time on praying for "forgiveness" of our many, many sins... As one of my friends said just this morning,, "My cup is overflowing,, what more could I want?".. but pray for more, we all do...but I agree this day,,,,, OUR CUP IS OVERFLOWING,, AND IT IS WITH ALL THOSE THINGS WE DID NOT PRAY FOR,,,,,, BUT JUST TOOK FOR GRANITE,, THAT THEY WOULD BE HERE, AND THEY WERE!!!,, SOOOOOOOO THINK OF PRAYING MORE THANKS,,,,,, THAN WANTS! Prayer of Wants: Yes, right after saying, our cup is overflowing, one more while you are down on your knees... may at this time of the year, when w give our "Thanks to Our Heavenly Father",, for all those "over-flowing things" ,, we include that of the love of one another as He has loved us... not too much to pray for!!! A LITTLE KNEE TIME!

SATURDAY! Good morning on this first day of the week-end! After a very painful week with my ole hip, leg, and foot.. that irritation, doctors call it rheumatism .. I say, God is letting us know of pass sins... and of course,, this is just a little jesting on my part...for we feel like we are not going to make another step, then we see someone else who "can't",, and all of a sudden,, we get better... so now as I repeat of how was my week,,, GREAT... and I thank God for my every move, for without Him, I would not have had any! Time that is,for without Him there is a void.. for He created us from that void, and if we don't change folks,,,,, right back to that void we will go!!! So what am I saying this day with all this jabbering?????? FOLKS ,,IT IS KNEE TIME! YES, A TIME IN ALL OUR LIVES, OF ALL THE PEOPLE TO STOP, AND THANK GOD FOR OUR ALL! BEAUTY AND THE "UGLY"!

FRIDAY! TGED! Yes!!!! Everyday,, of the rest of your days,, thank your maker,, God Almighty! For in His image were we made,,, and I look around at other people, and sometimes I say,, wow! so many different looks,, hair- no hair, slim-fat, tall-short, talkers-quiet ones,, doers-non-doers, workers-lazies! Yes,,, you can probably name more,, for we are from that one gene,,, Adam! For Eve was even made from Adam.. so our DNA,, IS ONE! You cannot deny this,, so when you look over at someone, and say, good golly,, that person sure is ugly,, two things you need to think about,,, that person has your DNA,, and "MAN" was created in His image...SOOOO maybe yu need to look in the mirror when you first wake up,, or come in backwards from a wind storm,,, you know right before the beauty parlor,, the comb, the clothes,, and ponder why that one is to you ugly, and the other is pretty.. for in case you do know... YES,, TO GOD, THERE IS NO UGLY! WE ALL ARE WONDERFUL IN HIS SIGHT,, SO WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM OF ,,,,,, LOVE ONE ANOTHER WITH ALL YOUR HEART? Hard to swallow this morning,, right? God, I pray that we all "re-boot" our "heart" part of our body computer,,,, and turn that "selfie" to "allie"...AND SEE EACH OTHER AS YOU DO, BEAUTIFUL! amen John HIcks I would bet that prayer will get some raised eyebrows... for to look at ourselves as "all" is the hardest thing to do in Mans mind.. for we all think "WE" are always #1! No, for HE is always #1, and we are #2,,and go ahead and accept it,, we who always thought we were "uglies",, well ,,, we are pretty!!! OH YES WE ARE!!!!!(notice I put we),, But as I do look into that mirror, I do wonder how it does not break,, Ha.. AS CHRISTIANS, WE SHOULD BE ABLE TO LAUGH AND HAVE THE MOST FUN THAT OUR MINDS CAN CONJURE UP,and if you will just think, that is the beauty,, the heart!!! "HUT TIME"

THURSDAY! And as I awoke this very morning, my eyelids opened to light, and a voice saying, "coffee is ready",, and little Pug jumping at my bedside,, eagerly jumping to have me reach down and let him know that I know he is there! So, I sling the covers back and saying under my breath ,,, "Thank You God this very morning!",,,,, and as I swing my legs to the floor,, I feel that same pain, from the back, hip, down to the arch of my foot....and I still get up...knowing that I can,, with His help, and off to "The Hut",,,, for that same ole thing , each and every morning... in this order(ha),,,, coffee,, heat,, wife,, Pug,, and if I get there first, then Libby is up, out there for the same ole thing, in the same order,, and I do say "Ha".... because we love each other to "the moon and back",,, and we both do know that that of course God is first, and the other is next in line (but that coffee is the battery that starts the motor of our system, and it is a gift from Him)...,,..but we do look forward to "that" time together, over and over,, for it is "our time",,,, as God is toasted as our first and foremost of all things ,,, and then we drink, and laugh, sometimes cry, miss our children, miss out friends, talk of our ailments... race back in through the cold ,,, ,for another cup of that good ole java,, and Pug, jumping up and down to go with us,, not for a thing, but the company and the going, and the coming...and what I am getting at, why does this not get old, and why do we not look for another way of starting our day off? Well ,, there are millions of ways, but we just love this one... as God has provided it to us,, and He does join right in with the waking and the laughing and the crying, and the missing of those not present... we just keep on THANKING HIM,, THAT WE HAVE HIM TO WAKE UP TO.. AND THE FREEDOM TO DO IT WITH HIM BESIDE US, AND WITHIN US... AND DON'T WORRY, FOR GOD IS SOOOO GREAT,, HE CAN DO IT WITH YOU ,, AT THE SAME TIME, HE DOES IT WITH US!!! NOW IS THIS NOT THE GREATEST WAY TO START A DAY,, BY CHOICE,, RATHER BY FORCE? Now, you know all about the awaking of our lives of each day,,, and of the "hut", and of the LOVE OF OUR GOD, AND OUR SAVIOR! I would love to hear about your start of the eyelids opening,, and how do you start your day! GOD FIRST , ONES-SELF SECOND!

WEDNESDAY! Good Morning!!!!! and did you ,, when you awoke, ,,, "thank Him"? or did you do your usual,, love thyself first? and then are going out and act like everyone wants you too.. or will you go out and act like HE wants you to act? Even if it causes you ridicule? Just asking this morning,, for we all, have to revisit ones-self,, as I have to do each and every day,, and sometimes more than once or twice a day,,,,for yes, I am more guilty than most ... and I depend on Him, every minute of every day!!!!! The drug of your dependance should be that of His word, and that of His Son, as your Savior... and then,, have the trust of your all in HIM,,, YOU KNOW HIM? GOD! Prayer of Thanks: Amelia,,,from her Mom: She is doing really well considering what she has been through! I ask for all to pray for her continued recovery!!!! Thank you Lord! HIS BREATH, NOW OURS!

TUESDAY! HI! and burrrrrrrrrr! Here , it is 28 degrees under the carport! I woke up first, so I got the coffee on, went to the "hut",, turned the heat to high,, gave little Pug his morning treats, for he was more interested in those treats, for with that winter coat of his, nice and thick,, he didn't at the time even think of the cold,, he was jumping for joy!TREATS! TREATS!!!! I rushed back into the house,breathing a fog of air,,, and inside,,with the coffee made,, I heard that little female voice rising out of her sleep with coffee on the brain! Ha! and off to the "Hut" did we go.at a pace of "race" not walking,, and watching as our breath passed ,,past us in our scurry to "heat".. and now after two cups,,, back in the house , I feel like as I walked back and forth, and already remember the laughter we have already had in His world.. for even though we had already committed ourselves to Him,, (we do it together again as we start off our morning).. and it is with this that I write my inspiration of words this morning..for as I walked, I could see the breath of life, exhale out,, knowing that cold feeling of inhalation of it coming right back in , and while talking their, and the coming into here, I could not see it,, but feel it,, exhale, inhale!.......... AND SO DOES HIS WORD CARRY WITH EVERY BREATH IN US,,, AND HOW IT IS CARRIED IS UP TO US... FOR HE GAVE US THIS CHOICE.. AND AS IT IS VERY SHORT IN WORDS THIS MORNING... THINK ABOUT JUST HOW BIG IT REALLY IT IS!!!!!! FOR I WILL REPEAT........From the time of the writing of Genesis to now.. it is still the biggest way of carrying His word... and that folks is YOU AND ME, WITH EACH BREATH ,,EXHALE HIS WORD, INHALE HIS STRENGTH TO GO FORWARD! THE RISING , OF ONE WHO IS FOREVER!

MONDAY! As we rise this morning ,,, let us remember of the rising of another,, we , for jsut another day of whatever.... He, for the world then, to come, and to rise forever and ever.... and remember we awake and rise from a good nights rest in a usually nice warm soft bed, He dropped His head after an agonizing death of one we cannot even fathom ourselves... the as the stone was rolled back, He rose , not alone,, but with His Father in Heaven, alive, and healed, from top to bottom,, then got up, walked about,, talked to some...but complain,,, NEVER! So,, as you have awoken ,, started your day as you choose,,, stop, and thank about your rising,, and HIS RISING! Will you even give out one nice word today,, will you put waking time with Him first, and then ask Him to accompany through this day, and the rest of your life? THANKING GOD FOR OUR ALL,,PRAYING FOR THOSE WHO DON'T!

As we awake this day,,,, let us all pray,,, for all those others ,,, yes for all those others that are in need,,, more than we are in need of....let us thank Him for ours, and then ask yourself this question,,, would you give your all to Him? You must answer this yourself, and when you do,, be prepared, for He just might accept it,, right then and there! So, as I sit here warm and cozy,,, but outside ,, burrr,,,,cold.. and lots are "out there", so thank about it as we make our way here, there, or just set and think, watch t.v. , read, play with out toys...whatever..put Him first and foremost, and stop ever so often, and just say THANKS GOD, FOR MY ALL! And help all those who have,,, not! Prayer Request: For the family of Linda Hicks' S.I.L., who passed away yesterday, I ask for all to pray for those left, and ask God to hold their hands, and give them comfort! THE STARTING OF A TREE(MAN)

SATURDAY! Welcome to another of His days, the gift of life, to millions, upon millions,, and always life is given with love,,,,for it is usually and meant to be conceived with love, for that is when life begins... so cherish it as all of His gifts are to be cherish, right up to a sip of clean cool water, for water is a must for life! So let's just start this day off with this "God is Good, God is PURE LOVE",, and there is no greater love than HIS! Prayer Request: For a really good friend, Amelia... that on Monday will be having surgery,, and I ask all to pray for this to be successful, and that God will be the guiding hand of these surgeons as they take care of this wonderful girl(I can still call her girl for to me she is still that little girl)... thank you all for these continued prayers from now through the surgery and then beyond! Continue prayer for the family of Gladys Hicks, as they go through her passing, from here to God! THE STARTING OF A TREE! Well today, this may be short, but it is to the point! We drive around and we see these large trees,, tall and reaching towards the Heavens! some are taller than others, some are trim and thin, others are short, fat, and then there is the one that is tall, fat, and holding tons of limbs and branches,, but all in all ,, they are "wood"! Made by God, raised by God's glory, from God's dirt, God's water,, and God's sunshine,, and then His moonlight as they rest through the night waiting on that energy giving sunlight to come up,, and let them live more, and get taller to His delight! They , as they grow,,give out oxygen to all of us, for without them, we would be no more...and also without us to give back our exhaled breath, they would not exist! Is God not so "genius"? Wow, I wish at times we would be like that tree,, as the seed falls into the weathered leaves of the forest.. then starts to sprout and reproduce into it's own DNA! It slips back up through those leaves of food for this to happen.. sees that sunshine, which looks like it is miles high to just the top of the "Mother " tree, that sprung this little shrub... but it smiles, and feels that growing warmth of those rays, from God, so it keeps right on growing, and even as man or animal may step on it, it bends , but does not break,, but rather looks up at that ray of sunshine, and again straightens itself,, and up, and up and in years ,,, it becomes a tree!!! Ready to drop it little seed, and shed the leaves of love for it to sprout and do the same all over again,, and never break that tie with the "Sunshine From God Almighty, It's Maker And Keeper"! So as this story has a start and an end this day,, why is my question? WHY DOES MAN NOT BE LIKE A TREE, AND NO MATTER HOW LOW HE STARTS, LOOK ALWAYS UP TO THAT RAY OF SUNSHINE, THAT RAY BEING GOD... AND GROW TOWARDS HIM , BENDING, BUT NOT BREAKING, GIVING THE LIFE OF BREATH TO THE TREE, AS IT GIVE BACK THE BREATH OF LIFE TO US.. BUT ALWAYS POINTING UP, TO HIM , AND LIVING AS A SYMBOL OF WHO WE ARE,,, AND WHO WE ARE FROM,, AND BEING THAT EXAMPLE TO ALL THE OTHER "TREES" IN THE FOREST TO COME , LOOK UP,, AND RECEIVE "THAT RAY OF LIFE",, AND GROW AND REACH TO HIM EVERY DAY OF OUR LIVES? and be a tree,,straight, tall, and believing in that Ray, and that it will always be there for us? Lord, as these words go out, I pray for the real understanding of them as they were received within my mind, my heart and that I understand their meaning, I pray that all who reads them will also receive their meaning, and that You are the Start, the Middle, The Finish, amen John HIcks Have a great God's day, and stand tall and wave to all and show them! GOD'S NEWNESS EACH RISING MOMENT OF EACH DAY!

FRIDAY! Burr! It's cold outside! Isn't it a real "cool" thing ,, that when you awake in the morning,, you open your eyes, usually yawn, stretch a little, right before you swing yourself out of that warm and cozy bed,,,and then as you finally look outside,,,, you see something different every-time,,,that is IF you will take the time to really LOOK! For HE, God is always sending us a reminder of WHO is actually in control,, for we all forget too much as we look to government, charity, or something that is in our minds, even in time of grief, or happy,,,,but when our heart,,,,(and this is what is missing,,, when a unsaved person feels that crazy little nudge in their heart, and don't know what to do with it),, that little nudge?, it is God saying, "LISTEN, IT IS I , AND YES I AM IN CONTROL OF ALL!",,,and at sometime of their life, and ours,, we do hear, and adhere to that call!!! So today,, enough is enough ,, let's all reach, and in our minds, as we close our eyes, grab each others hands, and say, "YES, GOD, WE KNOW YOU ARE IN CONTROL OF US ALL, AND YES, WE DO KNOW YOU! and a question for you to answer to yourself...for if did this prayer above really to God, and with Him in your heart,,, "did you feel all those other hands, in prayer with you also"? Prayer Request: For all the family of GLADYS HICKS,, Who went to Heaven yesterday to meet her long awaited Savior, and her God.. for she was a Christian, a friend, and loved by all... Pray as requested for her survivors, for Gladys is this day fine, and well, and enjoying what is to come to us all in our own time of God's choice. so pray thanks this day for the knowing of this great lady.. we will miss her so very much, but God,,, as we pray,, we do know!!!! THURSDAY! Good morning on this another of His days! Now, how did you start it off? A choice of yours and yours alone? NO!,, You don't have to be alone,, just, as you open your eyes, or at anytime of your waking times of your days, YOU can just STOP, and ASK,, Jesus , come into my heart, for I give it, and my soul to You for ever,, and ever!!! NOW, you will never,,,,, ever be alone!!! looking down a railroad track, and all you see are the two rails coming together at the end,,,, is a perfect way to see just how God giving you and me,,, Jesus as our Savior,, and by our own request... that down lifes journey, He is that rail right beside you from cross-tie to cross-tie,, and at the end where those rails in our eyes meet,,, well,, folks that is

JESUS, YOU , ME OR ALL WHO HAS MADE THAT CHOICE TO CHOOSE JESUS,,

COMING TOGETHER ,, JUST AS GOD PROMISE, IF WE WOULD JUST ACCPET HIS SON!

So simple!!!! and I ask ,"Then why is it so hard to accept,, publicly that is, and show it publicly?" It soooo very simple to have eternity, yet so many look and look for that fountain, when ,,, there it is,, like that other rail on those cross-ties ,, right beside you , wherever you go,, will you step up on that track, and ask?

God, I pray for all to get on track with their Savior,, and walk "side by side", singing that song,,, Saved,, saved by His Grace! amen

UP OR DOWN!

WEDNESDAY!!!! A very good morning to you all! Well ,, had our coffee, our good morning to our Lord, and then the remembrance of a day of celebration of our Vetrans... and for the first time we, Yatesville, Georgia, a very small town, with a very big heart,,, exibited a "V" of our Veterans already gone to meet our Supreme Comander... our Almighty God,, and to give a slaute to them, also the Unknown Soldier,, and then to all the Veterans present,, as we stood, a loud noise of aplauding!!!! WOW,,, filled my heart so full, it over-ran of the love from all of our fellow citizens! We had a time of our life,, for a full 15 minutes, but felt like a lifetime of a salute to all who served God bless America!

Today, I saw a "thing" on FB about the swipping of a credit card... and it dawned to me as I had passed it ,, and started to write "The Thoughts" today,,, I could not get that picture out of my mind,, so I ask all to close their eyes, and imagine, you are going through "the gates of Heaven",,, and there is ,,, right to the side of it, a credit card machine, and just pass the machine was two roads,, one that led up a hill, and another road that led down,,, and a gate on both roads locked,, ... and as you passed this little machine,, it read in an arch over it,, of bright white lights,, that said,,,

JESUS CARD SWIPPED, PROCEED UP,,,,

AND ALSO ON SOME,, RED LIGHTS,, THAT READ, NOT SWIPPED! PROCEED ON DOWN !

NOW,, WHICH WILL IT READ FOR YOU? UP ROAD, OR DOWN ROAD?

HAVE YOU SWIPPED YOUR,,"JESUS,, I ACCEPT YOU CARD"?

OR ARE YOU JUST FUMBLING ALONG,, WITH YOU KNOW WHO, (THE ONE WHO IS LEADS TO THE "DOWN ROAD"?

TUESDAY! Good morning Lord! and Good morning to all you Veterans, who have served , still serving, I wish to these comrades of mine a "happy day",, and the thanks for all they have given from this life to guard our freedom,, from tyrants of "yester-year", and this present day of ISIS!

AND A SPECIAL "THANK YOU" TO THOSE WHO GAVE THEIR ALL THEIR LIVES!!!!!!

And to anyone who has had this freedom given to them, and they choose to burn this Nations Flag, degrade this Nation,, run this Nation down,, but continue to live here and enjoy those freedoms,,,,,,,,, then I make this statement, "Leave this Nation" and go where all these "VETS" fought and gave you this freedom ,,,TO LEAVE THIS NATION, IF YOU ARE NOT IN ACCORDANCE WITH HER LAWS, AND HER GOD!

PRAISE GOD IN PUBLIC

MONDAY! Good morning to all this great day! As I awoke, felt the coolness of the morning,, I pulled the cover up and over my head,,, rested, then said,, Goood morning Lord, thank You for this day, pulled the covers back,,and asked Him to be by my side this day, swung my feet over the side of the bed, realized that Libby had beat me in waking,, and as I walked into the hallway, I was met by the biggest show of love one could get other than the love of the Lord... PUG had come back in with Libby to get a cup of coffee, and when he saw that light in the bedroom on, he could not contain that "pet" love to go wide open with no oposition of any doubt that if he could just get down to me,, he would be met with that same love he was carring in his heart...and he did ,,,, for I was so excited to see him wide open, and listening to Libby laughing at the way he shot down that hallway!!!! Now folks the reason to this rthymn of this story that I have posted in so many ways of the same show of love of a pet...I wonder,,,,,

JUST HOW WOULD THIS WORLD BE, IF "MAN" WOULD SHOW THIS TYPE OF LOVE,,,, WITH GOD,

RIGHT OUT THERE IN THE OPEN, WITH NO CARE OF WHO SEES THEM DOING IT!!!

GET IT??? NOT CARING WHO SEES THEM DOING IT? SO TODAY, LET'S ALL SHOW PUBLICLY, OUR LOVE FOR GOD!

Let's at some time , once, twice, or as many times as you wish,, stop, right in public , bow your head ,, and say to God, I love You, out loud, and I give my all to YOU! Then look up, and smile real big... for He will be!!! If you are driving and decide to this, then pull over in a safe place, and get out and do it!!! Yes, people will see you,, right!!!!!!!!!! walking down a Walmart asile, stop, bow your head, say a quick prayer(or a long one, your choice),, and YES AGAIN,, people will look,,

BUT BE LIKE "THE PUG"

WILD AND NON-CARING OF YOUR LOVE OF YOUR GOD! AM I CRAZY? YES, CRAZY ABOUT MY GOD!!!!
