NEW YEARS' EVE! As another year falls like the leaves of Autumn, this year started with the cold of Winter,, slipped in the Spring, let leaves and flowers bloom, then the Fall comes,, and the flowers wither, the leaves fall gently to the ground, the trees bare,, the Winter wind blows another end and start of another year,,, is God not great, to give us all this,, over and over?, and we do not have to lift a hand in the making of it,, none at all,, just enjoy! PRAYER REQUEST: That all will celebrate the incoming of this new year with only the spirit of God,, and not any other spirits of any kind, and that all will go, and come ,, safely, and honor their God at all times,,, with brotherly love of one another!! Today at 5:53 AM MONDAY! Good morning,, hope all had a great w/e,, and are all ready to start this week off with Jesus by our side! Friends are forever,, is something we say,, but that is a hope, for some fall to the wayside as we travel through this life... and then some are right there by our side, and lots is where you wind up deciding as to where you set up your housekeeping.. where you were raised or 100's of miles in a different place... but the one thing for sure, is that friend you made when you met Jesus,, well,, He will be at your side, not only through this life,, but for an eternity!!! Now , you tell me that is not the best news you have ever heard, whether this if the first time you heard it or the millionth time you have heard it.. Jesus is for real, and Jesus is forever!!!! I hope all of you have a great day, take time out for God, and a talk with Him by praying to Him, in private, and in public,,thank Him, then you and Jesus ,, go on off on this daily trip, with smiles, and enjoy this great day given by His Dad to all of us,, with more love than you can ever imagine... until the day you unite with Each,, so ask Them in, and start enjoying!!!! SUNDAY! The day of rest,, unless the ox is in the ditch,,,today,, with the rain,, I will spend on the roof,, looking for leaks,,went to bed with two bad leaks ,,, now to find just where they come from.. is like looking for a needle in a hay stack! Why am I telling about these leaks,, is like the ole boy satan,, Who looks at someone, and they look really good,, sound proof,, can't let anything get to them.. then comes along ole satan, boring into that skin,,, pow,, there he is,, working away, and that person hasn't looked deep inside of the attic lately, but they sure see the sin slowly leaking from their heart and then it is a full stream of sin pouring from within.. STOP the leak of sin, by asking for Jesus to protect you with His Roof of No Sin, guaranteed for life! Make sense? Getting Ready! The New Year is just around the corner in fact just two more days...and all those new resolutions will be voiced,, and most ,, sadly to say ,, will be broken before the new day is over.. and over 98 % will be broken in two weeks,, now that is quick to give up a promise to yourself...... Now, you are getting ready to enter the start of a new year, how about your eternal life? I ask yu this one little question that is the biggest question, and your most important answer of your life, ARE YOU READY, HAVE YOU ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST, AS YOUR OWN PERSONAL SAVIOR? Lord, I ask for all to come to Your Son, this minute, this day, and bow their heads and accept Him as their Savior... amen John HIcks Yes, I am a Christian, and I claim Jesus as my Savior and yet I must keep my roof of my body dry from sin, with Jesus as my unbrella,, how about you? Making a choice that is heard by all is not as hard as it seems.. Try it and say,,,, YES,, I AM READY !!!!!

SATURDAY!!! Now the biggest holiday is over,,, now we are back to regular time, and days,,, do you feel though that the celebration of His birth is still hanging in there with our feelings of now, just one of those things that won't go away, I hope , for that was Gods' intention.... so , hold on to Him,,,, all year!!!! THE LOVE,,,,OF ONE TO ANOTHER! This is something ,that all will say,, loving one to another is the easiest thing to do in this world! Not true! What is the first person, or persons do you think about, when you hear this statement? People whom are your dad, mom, husband , wife, son, daughter, grandchild, best friend,,,, someone who is already real close, and easy to say to and mean it,, "I love you" . Now, look a step farther from your little "love" circle,, and tell me if you love your neighbor? Your grocer? Your Wal-mart check out person? Your other check out person, or persons? The people , not neighbors,, but live about two miles up the road, the couple setting two benches over from you in church? or the ones right in front,,, or back of you? By now , you are probably saying in a small laughing voice,, "wow, this is a lot of loving to do"! Can you do it, and I mean "do it"! To love another, other than yourself,,, involves a big step, a lot of working at it, and total commitment! Now , again, can you do it? I profess to love everyone, then comes withing,, this little insert,, until they do something to make me stop!They ,, not me? Now, what I am asking does not let you put in any protection plans,, bail out plans,, but just plain ole love, only love,, never ending,, always there (no matter what you do,, if they call , you run ,, hug, kiss, and hold on with loving arms), I expect complete LOVE! No, I can't do it,, and I would challenge any one of you that say , "yes I can". I know of not one that can love unconditionally,,, with the forgiving power of never-ending.. EXCEPT JESUS CHRIST! Do you agree? Or do you think you can really produce and hold THE "COMPLETE" LOVE? OF ONE, TO ANOTHER, WITHOUT JESUS?. FRIDAY! TGIF-Back to usual? I hope not,, I hope that the experience of the birth of our Savior has taken on a new meaning to all... a meaning of ,, "there is hope for this country", why ? For we just celebrated it, and if you celebrated it as the day of the Birth of Jesus Christ, then you have two things, faith, and Jesus,, and that is the only hope of this country! WHAT DID YOU GET FOR CHRISTMAS? Christmas is a season when we give gifts to those we love. Like the three wise men of old too we each hope to find the perfect gift to express our love. As I look back on all the perfect gifts that I have gotten over the years, however, I have noticed that none of them came wrapped in paper or were put under a tree. Still, each of them found a forever home in my heart. My Mom,, gave me the forever gifts of her big, strong hugs and soft, gentle kisses, & her sweet smile, twinkling eyes, and joyful laughter, were gifts which lit up my life for so many years. My Dad, gave me the gifts of his love, and his wisdom and common sense,, even though I didn’t always use them. My brothers gave me the gift of time. My sisters were there to hold their little brothers hand,, and although I was the youngest of seven,, they always made the time to play with their “little brother.” My first dog gave me the gift of unconditional love and loyalty. A beautiful little girl gave me the gift of my first kiss which made me tingle from head to toe. My wife gave me forever love, and my children,, and my children gave me the gifts of tiny arms wrapped around my neck and “I love you Daddy” whispered in my ear, and they remain in my heart for-ever & now my grandchildren continue the saga of the hugs, and little whispers, I love you P-Pappa or Paw Paw,,, and my little dog, Pug, gives me unconditional love, each time he sees me. So many beautiful souls blessed me with the gift of their friendship. I also got gifts in the smiles of strangers, and of neighbors, and the kind words from people all over the world who had read my writings. Each one of them was precious. Each one of them was eternal. Not a single one of these forever gifts could be bought in a store. They all had to be given from the heart. They won’t break, rust, or rot either. Instead I will carry them in my soul all through this life and into the next. Every day of the year, give your own forever gifts to those you love. This life you are given is God’s gift to you, and how you live it, is your gift to God. THURSDAY! Only 364 more days left until Christmas!!!! Good Morning all...I hope and I pray, all had a great and Merry Christmas day... In our house was a good one,, and we had our Savior right here, and thank His father for our faith and our strength,,for He felt right at home with our love, that He belonged! I hope all of you had this same visitor at some time of the day,,,, or all day.. again, we had a thankful Christmas! Run, Run Joesph! After the birth , Joseph was notified by a voice,, to move Jesus , and after he told Mary, then , run , they did, for the command to kill all first born went out.. with a scream of one, then thousands, of screaming mothers, fathers, and little innocent babies... the scream of satan at work to try to kill Jesus... but no! Satan can not be greater than God,,, and no matter what satan did,, Gods' plan was in the works,, and Jesus went about his own way, to preach , guide , and then the ultimate sacrifice ,, His life,, for us,, Yes,, Joseph ran, by Gods' advice and command,, and protected his Fathers Son,, and raised Him to complete His journey,,, Jesus did complete this journey, by conquering life, and death, all for us,, Now resurrected , He is here ..this instant,,,, yes , this instant,,, this today,,, for to all who reads this,, HE LIVES, HE LIVES,,, TODAY AND FOREVER,,,, HE LIVES! God , thank You for Jesus, and His birth, His life, His and Your sacrifice,, for us,, we all love you God, and Jesus! amen John HIcks For it all has been said on this blessed Savior,, and now is the time for us all to stay on the road with Him, and to put our words in action to pull as many as we can on the road with us,, and never let one , if possible , fall off... Today at 6:35 AM WEDNESDAY! Behold,, a Savior is Born,, and His name shall be called Jesus,,,MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE! Please have a great Christmas, be safe, laugh, cry, hug, and say, I love you to each other , many, many times, and then don't forget to say,, THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS BIRTH OF YOUR SON, AND MY SALVATION! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ,,, MY JESUS!!!! There are a lot of people to pray for this day,,, Our neighbor Shane Moore, whose wild ride resulted in a dislocated and broken shoulder..get well Shane, and drive that cruiser,, and not the Go Kart!,,,Elosise Ellingtion's friend Juanita ,, who is suffering from liver cancer, and will be having the large dose of chemo.. pray for healing, and the remission of this dreaded disease....Paul Irvins, who is in His last days of chemo,,, pray for remission of his cancer...Pray that the "missing daughter" will return to the Mother,, all will be healed, may God's will be done!,,, and Thank You God for the many, many blessing the we in-cure,, and do not think of as miracles, even though they are,, but at least ,,knowing you are there by our side!,,, Again, Happy Birthday Jesus, and May God Bless each of you this Christmas day,, and I send my love out to you all, from me, Libby, and all the Hicks Household, and Pug,,, MERRY CHRISTMAS!! TUESDAY-The day before Christmas!!!! All around the house is such a chatter, such a hustle,, the parents are looking for that last little item, dreading to go out and face the cold, and the crowd,, moms,, planning ,,"what will we eat",, after being up till 3 or 4 in the morning...and the little ones are smiling, laughing, being good, and jumping up and down, looking under the tree for the thousandth time.. to see if everyone remembered them..eyes dancing of goodys to appear under the tree,,little mouths singing, jabbering on, and on... sooooo happy in hopes of ole Santa is about to come.... oh, if we could all, as adults,, just would remember, it is O.K. to have Santa, & Christmas, and remember Jesus at the same time! To do this, you must have Jesus, and God in YOUR HOME all year prior to all holidays,,, and as you have your "Santa",, tell of the story of the babe Jesus, born in a stable , under the greatest light of all.. and all for us.....so as you go about this day, and this day eases into night, and all are gathered together,, smile big, and enjoy, drink nothing stronger than milk, coffee or tea,,, and as you do get to lay your head down, and your eyes awake tomorrow morning,, please,, let the first words out of your mouth be .... Prayer Request: For Continued healing of our Friend in Christ,, Megan Bagwell Gaff..may you heal and get back to doing what you do best,,, smiling to all you meet! God bless you and your family! HE GAVE US HIS ALL God decided to make a universe,,,heaven,,,a world. When He finished,,,He made man,,,gave him the Garden of Eden,,, then made woman for his companion,,,gave him the dominion over all the animals...Then man and woman,,,,messed up utopia and sinned...listen to the devil,,,the snake. Yes ,,,lost all that God made and gave to mankind. He, thankfully, had given us the brains, to go out and toil the land,,,the brains to make shelter,,, clothes,,, have children,,,and then give thanks to Him with burnt sacrifices. Mankind wandered away from that also,,,Noah appeared on the scene,,,yes we almost lost it all,,,but He spared man,,,found favor in Noah,,and let Noah survive and walk in His presence, and His goodness...man spared again...Then came this miracle that we are about to celebrate,,,the birth of Gods' own beloved Son...born of a virgin,,,a miracle in its' own!!! Born to die for our sins,,,our way out again,,,,saved by the grace of the Father and the Cross of the Son....Well,,, are we wandering away again,,,,are we crawling with the "snake"? Are we losing the gift He has given us on this Christmas,,,,do we see the gift of the birth? Or do we see the word written with Christ left out and an "x" put in front,,, leaving Christ out ,,,yes,,I am afraid more and more are following the snake,,,and letting the " x" enter into their season,,,the lost of the reason!!!...I refuse to ever put that in front of "mas"...how about you? I pray that we all stay awake on our watch,,,never going to sleep on God,,,nor Jesus,,,spread the word and let everyone know,,,without hesitation,,, GOD HAS GIVEN HIS ALLTO US, AND WE WILL GIVE OUR ALL BACK TO HIM! SUNDAY! Yes, His day,,, as all are, but His day of rest.. for He had made it all ,, Earth and our solar system to support us.. yes, we are , because He is real..and loving! You just can't beat that, and you know what ,,, He is free,,, even some would disagree,,,, for me,, all it took was listening,, to Him! Who do you listen to? Prayer Request: We all keep Jesus at the helm of this Season, and then the other 364 days as well! A BIRTH OF ALL BIRTHS This morning, as the days to the birth celebration of our Jesus nears... I want to just say,,, yes I do believe in the Virgin Birth, I do believe that Jesus walked this earth, I believe that man crucified Jesus for no reason,,, and I believe it was Gods' plan for us, and that Jesus did rise ,, walked this earth again, then rose to His Father,, God.. and then I believe that all our sins were forgiven,, and now He is at our side,, waiting on us to confess for the sins of our past, and accept Him, as our Savior , with no reservations, and that He loves us as much as The Father who made us... and this is the only way to Heaven.. and that is through this Birth, this Crucifixion, and the Rise of This Man, called Jesus, the Son of God, and acceptance of this Son as our Savior,,, with no hesitation... Do you believe that this Birth started a new way for Christians? That it is the way to God, and Heaven, and the only way? ,,, and when you accept Him, it is like a new highway,, for as far as the eye can see, for He is forever, and ever,, and I thank God for this VIRGIN BIRTH OF JESUS! God, thank You for giving us our highway to You, amen John HIcks Yes, it is MERRY CHRISTMAS here in the HIcks household...and we stand by our convictions, of being able to say this, it is also in this nation call freedom of speech,,, of all the people ,,,not just some !!!!! SATURDAY! Four more days and we celebrate the Greates Birth of all times!!!!! I put a coaster under my hot coffee cup,, to keep the burning heat away from my desk, simple, what do you put on to keep the heat of hell away from you? You put on the cloak of Jesus, SIMPLE! LOOSE WORDS! These will be remembered by , not me or you, but by God, and recorded in the book of life, so when you engage the hinges of your jaw, please, as I have said in the past, first,, engage your brain!!!! God, please give me the good sense that when I speak , that I will do two things, 1. I will talk as if I am talking to myself and say things that you will enjoy. 2. Most important, I will say and talk only about the things that You approve of. amen John HIcks Fired Up! and praying that my jaw hinges are well oiled by my brain, and by my God!

Waking up and getting started with God at your side, and Jesus as your Savior is the best way to start your day! Who are you going to take with you today as you go about your plans? Make the choice! Prayer Request: For this Nation as a whole, to stand it's ground on God, it's belief of who made this Nation first,, and folks it is just like this world, He made it , it did not evolve.. and He made Man, and He made Woman, and He gave us Jesus Christ,,, now anyone who denies this, well, He or She will be judged by God, and not by me, nor anyone else,,, so Nation, shut up complaining, and start praying, is my request today,, what is yours? TRASH IS TRASH! It does not matter if you put it in a trash can, a dumpster, or as some do , just throw it out of their car window.. trash is trash!!!!! The following is my belief, my statement, my stand, and I do not falter at all,, and will not , for my strength lies with-in my heart, and holds my soul in His hands...and if you deem it trash, then just throw it out! That belief is the belief in a real God Almighty, and Jesus Christ as Savior of this world!!!! I believe a person should be able to say what they want, and what they believe,, for I believe in God, and I believe that God made this world, and all that is in it,, and the He created Man and Women to be a pair, not two of one, and two of another... for you do not see the animals with this male to male, female to female,,, and I believe that Jesus was sent here to this earth to live and die, rise to life again, for our sins, and He is the only way to get to Heaven ,, through Him and that Cross He died on... and my last statement is when Noah made that ark, and God put those animals on it, He put two of every kind of walking and creeping and flying animals on that ark, and ALL others drowned,, only those on that ark survived, and those animals , creeping things, birds, and yes man,, was of a male, and a female.. and when the water succeeded,, they departed in pairs, to replenish this earth,, and Noah, and His wife also went forward ,,, together,, his three sons. and their three wives,, and all three wives were female, and all the sons were all male... and folks that is His plan ,,,man with woman, woman with man, period! The other plan is one made up of man ,,,and it is just like all the other sin of this world,, it is sin... and folks that is my opinion, my belief,,, so crucify my belief and my opinion, and I will see you as we all must do ,,face to face with God in the end, and see who is right and who is wrong...for He is the one, and the only one JUDGE, and I so believe as I have stated and I also Have my Jesus Suit on.. THURSDAY! We are getting closer to the greatest of the two holidays of our lives,,, Christmas, and the other one is Easter! One, is the birth, the other is the eternal life for us all, the Resurrection of our Christ,,, in whom we should be celebrating His birth this 25th of December,,, it is called CHRISTMAS! not just a "holiday".... and I hope all who reads this will agree,, and past it on,, it is very good, and it is politely correct to say these words,, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! So do so, and then read the below item from Harris Malcom, the regional state missionary at our Georgia Baptist Convention,, please read,, it is kinda like the "Escalator " story of not to long ago, and fits in right now!! Enjoy, then pray! 'Twas The Night Before Jesus Came' 'Twas the night before Jesus came and all through the house Not a creature was praying, not one in the house. Their Bibles were lain on the shelf without care... In hopes that Jesus would not come there. The children were dressing to crawl into bed. Not once ever kneeling or bowing a head. And Mom in her rocker with baby on her lap Was watching the Late Show while I took a nap. When out of the East there arose such a clatter. I sprang to my feet to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash! When what to my wondering eyes should appear But angels proclaiming that Jesus was here. With a light like the sun sending forth a bright ray I knew in a moment this must be THE DAY! The light of His face made me cover my head It was Jesus! returning just like He had said. And though I possessed worldly wisdom and wealth, I cried when I saw Him in spite of myself. In the Book of Life which He held in His hand Was written the name of every saved man. He spoke not a word as He searched for my name; When He said "it's not here" my head hung in shame. The people whose names had been written with love He gathered to take to His Father above. With those who were ready He rose without a sound. While all the rest were left standing around. I fell to my knees, but it was too late; I had waited too long and thus sealed my fate. I stood and I cried as they rose out of sight; Oh, if only I had been ready tonight. In the words of this poem the meaning is clear; The coming of Jesus is drawing near. There's only one life and when comes the last call We'll find that the Bible was true after all! Trust Jesus before it's too late. The best Christmas present you will ever receive! WEDNESDAY!!!! One of Gods' days,,, so let's thank Him,, and then enjoy it to the hilt!!!! That is what He wants! FALLING,, FALLLING! I want each of you to imagine something,, maybe it will be one of those things,, that sticks.... First , imagine you,, walking up to the edge of this gigantic mountain cliff.. as you gaze down,, you see nothing but space,, you can't even see the bottom,, only thin clouds,, for you are so high on this mountain, the end looks like,, a no end,, just a bottomless pit... Now,, as your imagination takes hold,,, ready,, hold on, for my gosh, your foot is slipping, now the other one, you reach around to grab hold of something to keep you from going on over.. there is nothing,,, only a shadow of a figure. Who or what is it? It looks like a man,, but not quite,, oh no! It's satan,, big as life,, and he has a smirk little smile on his face... and then there is someone standing on the other side of him,,, I can't quite see that figure , for it is so bright,,, a light that is not only bright , but with a warmth to it.. thank God,, it is Jesus.. He is not smiling,, only holding out His arms in my direction.... I reach,, but I can't grab hold,, I keep sliding,,, sliding down this gigantic cliff.. over the side I go..why,,Jesus, why? Notice,, not a word, cried out for satan, who was smiling,,, but the cry was to the only one,,and the only one who is capable of stopping the fall... satan can put you there,, and put you in the fall, but he is not capable of saving anyone,,, only Jesus can do that... you are falling ,, falling,, scared,,, and then as you look down,, you see the sight you had started to dread , just as you slipped over the edge,, the white clouds were gone,, and you could see this red smoke and fire way down,, like a hundred miles down.. oh no , will I suffer going down also? Without Jesus, yes ,, suffer for eternity.. the fall is just the beginning!!! Then you cry out one more time,, and say,, "My Lord,, My Lord,, why,, I accepted you as my Savior,, why do you let me fall? Why do you let go to satan and hell?" Within a moment , a mili-second,, you stop! A voice says to you.. I have not forgotten you,, where is your faith, for once I am asked to be yours,, I will never let go,, I have had you in my hand all the time,,, even as you slipped,, and heard you cry out,, I had you in hand,,, never to let you go... now, come home with me,,, If you really got into that imagination this day,, and you are not saved by the Grace of Jesus Christ,, I hope, as you shake the chills off,, you do bow your head and accept Him on the spot , not a "mil-second" later.. if you are already saved by His Grace, then you never felt that chill? Now , did you feel it ,,, or did you not? Do you have a life saving rope around you as you climb up and through this life? Do you have Jesus, to keep you from FALLING? Lord, thank You for holding so many billions of hands at one time , keeping us on firm ground with Your Son by our side in all we do.. amen John HIcks I have fell,, and by His Grace, felt His hand pull me back up,, to testify for Him,, how about you? Have you joined that team,, the JESUS TEAM?

TUESDAY! Welcome to another of God's wonderful days! As we rise in the morning, thank of Him rising that day,, from the tomb of where He was places after the Cross! Yes, He overcame that death, and if you will just use your mind, you can see what ,,, if you accept Him,, you will feel as you close your eyes of this world...and open them at Heavens gate, with Jesus standing there with you... Just as He is doing this very morning, and if you have not accepted Him, He still stands,,jsut waiting on YOU.. for you must make the choice.... yes ,, YOU! Short this morning but to the point. Ee had a night of everyone's horror in Yatesville last night... for our neighbors on one of our roads leading out of Yatesville, was followed home and shot after being accosted at their home ,,, and all I know this late morning is that last night they were still be hunted.. the man was shot in the head, and the wife was shot in the shoulder... Prayer Requests : For the victims of the Yatesville shooting, the owners of The Garden Patch,, Ross, and Linda Reeves... they are in the hospital ,, and expected to recovery.. and prayers are needed for them for this recovery bodily and mentally will be great!!! And also pray the robbers and shooter will be caught! A "watcher" will hide in the side lines of life, and never join life in the way it was planned. Are you a "watcher" where God is concerned? Be a "catcher" of life instead,, and include God in it... accept the Son, be saved, testify of His greatness, and don't be afraid to step out in the parade of life ,,and show all how you feel about the God who made you,, and all of this world. THURSDAY! Good morning to all! As we awake, and as our eyes open slowly,, we see God watching over us,, with His angels at our request.. it makes for a special and greatly appreciated day! What ,, you think I am crazy and that I am seeing things,,, well,, I am sure others who are saved can see this as they lie down and wake up each day also,, or they are blind to faith of Him...yes,, I see Him, with a heart so full of Him,, now you open your eyes, and really see... and if you still can't ,, then ask Jesus to come into your heart,, and He will open your eyes.. and for this day,, I just ask for you to digest what is written ebefore this sentence,, and after you have digested it,, go out and have a great and wonderful day of His,, given as a great gift each and every day of yours and mine! Prayer Request: For Betty Mae , who is having a bad time with this "bug" going around, and cannot do her dialayis each time needed with the meds she is using with this bad cough that comes with this "bug". Little Zayne is still having many trips to ER with this "flu", after many , many trips! May God intervene, and lead these doctors to get other help in the family type help! Christine, in Md., is still in the hospital , but recovering, and will soon go to re-hab, so give thanks to God for His blessings on her. Welcome to this TUESDAY!,,, One of Gods' days built and given to us,, out of a great love,, one of the biggest loves ever .....His. Prayer Request: Pam Burnette's Nephew, who will have open heart surger to replace the arota pulmonary valves on Wednesday morning. Please pray for the surgeorns hands to be guided by God, and surgery will be a success! BLINDFOLD OF FAITH! (Originaly sent out on 12/10/09, felt like it needed to be repeated, with the season coming, with Christmas, & our leaders giving us more and more anti,, rather than believing in Him) The Cherokee Indians had a way for their youths rite to passage.. to become a man. The boys father would take him deep into the forest,,, find a stump,, sit his son on it, blindfold him. The youth had to set on that stump until he could feel the sun on his face,, then he could remove the blindfold. He could not peek,, even when he heard the animals creep around in the night.. there were mountain lions, bears.. snakes,, all sort of animals, killers in his mind. Even , if he lived through this,, he could not tell anyone of the experience,, only that he made it, and did so with faith that he would live through this night, and become a man and a warrior. Wow, as the night went on,, he could almost feel the dangers creep up , almost to him , on this stump , blindfolded,, and never even thinking of pulling off the blindfold,,even though he was alone deep,, deep in the forest. I guess you could call it blind faith.. Well ,, as the night wore on,,the morning started to arrive,,, he could tell light was coming,, relief was in his heart, his faith had carried him through the dark,, and as he felt the warmth of the morning sun hit his face,, he removed his blindfold,, and behold ,, who was that sitting out on a stump also?,,, his father,, watching over him through the night, and proudly watching his son,, who had just become a man,,through blind faith, making sure no harm came to him! Just think of the pride of that father as he watched his son, sit in the danger of maybe losing his life,, looming in the youths mind,, and listening, in his mind, to his father saying,, all would be alright as he left him there,,,. Having faith, yes blind-faith, that he would make it through the night,, yes BLIND-FAITH!!!! Now,,as you read this story,, how about you and God,,, how about your faith in Him and His salvation? Do you have that kind of faith as that young Indian boy? Do you have that BLIND FAITH, IN GOD? We are always looking at what is next in our lives,, and this is just human thinking,,, looking ahead,,, With God,,, it needs to be, for us,, in our relation with Him, the now of our lives with Him, the right now, not tomorrow, but today, this minute! So, start your day off with this,, Lord, be with me now, and in all the time you give me on this earth, be with me! JUST AS I AM When you are invited to come over to someones' house, or to a party somewhere,, and it is at the last moment,, and the one who is inviting you,, will say to you,,, "just come as you are".Now ,that does not mean to go around with your best clothes on,, but just a remark, that you do not have to stop and dress up to come to that particular party.. Prayer Request: For little six month old Zange Magee, who has been to the ER three times this week, diagnosed with the "bug", measels, and is now dehydrated,, please pray for God to take this little man and heal him, and pray for his parents also. WHERE CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE QUICKLY! This is a joke to start your day off that refers to the heading, and may it make you laugh and think! Man walks into a church , tells the receptionist,, "I want to speak to the Head Hog at this Pig Troff"! She is very, very upset at this type of request,,, and she tells the man , "You will not refer in that tone, and that name, you must ask to see the "Pastor"! Well says the man,, "I will be going, for I just wanted to drop by to donate $10,000 to your church!" The woman quickly stands and says to the man "HOLD ON! I WILL GET PORKY AT ONCE"! My, my, how circumsances can change quickly! We all at times , let ourselves change with the circumstances around us. We may be doing a certain thing and someone around us says or does something to alter our thoughts, and we automatically change, even when we don't really want to, but we do for reasons unto ourselves, for certain things, can and will make you change, even when you feel the tug not to!... We should always follow what we feel that God wants us to do or say, and we should not alter ourselves, but alter the circumstances that try to alter us, and that is usually ole satan, who works constantly. So don't let him jump in with any type of alteration and make you change your circumstantces for God... ,,,, Just always trust in God, and things will work out for the best,, and CHANGE YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES ,,,,ONLY FOR HIM! This load carries a hurt to our minds, our heart, our vital organs through out our bodies... we must unload this wagon.. You can go to the doctor, get medication that will help you deal with this tension, this load, that has reached on some , to an almost "tip over" of the load.. then you are in more trouble than just trying to pull an overload. So, how do you stop being a mule of labor? Seek the team that is harnessed, and ready to pull your load.. that team is,, first God,,, then His Son , Jesus, the better medicine! All you have to do is to stop what you are doing,, if you are driving down the road , pull over,,, if you are walking down the sidewalk, on the road, through the woods, a park,, STOP! If you are with someone, ask them to stop with you, they will wait, and might just join in,, don't be embarrassed,, but smile with abandonment,, and just say,,,, Jesus come , come and save me from all this load , this load of sins,,, , forgive me,, I accept You as my Lord and Savior! It will feel like you are a dump truck , instead of that little pick-up,, for Jesus and God will automatically dump those sins,, kick ole satan in the butt, and start your life over,, it will be some work on your part, by doing something you may not be use to,,, that is having faith, walking with Him, and not the old crowd that has helped put you there, but one thing also,, you talking the talk of God to those friends and all others... so go ahead,, put the brakes on , Pick Up The New Load Of Jesus Christ, as your cargo,,, and let Him push the dump button and UNLOAD YOUR WAGON! SUNDAY! Good morning to all.... and I pray that all are awake with the request of God at your side,, and when yu go shopping this season, and being the 1st of Dec.. the season is here,, you shop and you celebrate with the real reason,, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.... now , go out there and have a great day!!! Prayer Request: For Christine White, who was found unconsonsuos in her bathroom , last night, rushed to the hospital.. pray for her wellness! For , Dana, and her family,, still all are suffering,, Terri, who is getting some of it also...and me,, wow,, I can hardly swallow...it has hit us and pray that God will let it run it's course quickly... thank you all... Faith Again! I have touched on this word before,, faith, (Webster: belief in the value , or trustworthiness of someone or something). This little word , believe it or not is the one word that can get you into Heaven or let you down to hell.. for it is the truth , without it , you will not get through that gate into Heaven.. You must believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ,, that not only is He alive, but that our God is alive also, with all your heart and soul,, total commitment, your all... yes,, that is the faith that will get you there.. nothing else. Once you accept Jesus by faith, you are on your way.. Peter had faith to start with,,, when Jesus told him to step off the boat and onto the water.. faith to start, then fright as he felt the wind, and started to sink, faith lost,, Lord save me, and Jesus immediately reach out His hand and said , "You of little faith, why do you doubt?" (Matt. 14:31) We as humans are quick to doubt,, lose our faith for just a second,, and that can be a second to much,, for if Jesus had not reached for Peter,, Peter would have sunk,, maybe drowned.. had the faith to step onto the sea , not the faith to also face the wind,, just one more hurdle between him and Jesus. How about you ? Do you have the faith to step upon the sea, walk with Jesus, face the wind,, ? It takes but "that" of "that little seed", remember? You have it,, you just have to learn to trust in Him, when using it.. it will work ,, not for things of selflessness, but what God has in His plan for you. so , call out , accept Jesus and be reborn in the blood of Jesus Christ, recieve Him by FAITH,, AND LIVE FOREVER, IN HIS KINGDOM! God , grant us faith to come to You by way of Your Son , Jesus, and may we walk with that faith until the time to come.. amen John HIcks I have learned to walk ,for even as an adult, Ithought I was walking,, until I met and accepted Christ, for then and there, I could see my back trail ofnot steps, but knee prints, and once I cried out,, I was lifted to my feet, and walked not down, but alongside of Him.. Will you cry out now for the rescue of your soul if you have not.. choice is yours, by faith!

SATURDAY! Good morning this week end,,, hope you have a great one, and don't forget to include God in all your plans, and start now, making Christmas,,, for the real reason for this season,,, that of the virgin birth of our Lord and Savior.. and put Him on the top of all your lists!!!! Prayer Requests: For my Son-In-Law, Todd Livingston, who has pneumonia, and the rest of the family has colds, sniffles, and all have been given medicine,, so pray for their recovery soon. For , Peggy Dawson's Brother , Jimmy Austin, who lost his wife, Josie last Wednesday,, pray for him and all of the family. Spike Wards family, of the lost of his Uncle Leroy, please pray that God will give this family his arms to rest in, and heal the hurt. For Lori, who the doctors has discovered a covered mass in her brain,,, they think that she incurred a stroke as she stood by her husband Frank while on his death bed,and would not tell anyone.. please pray for this brave woman, that God will heal all of her problems. For all families to come together, and let bi-gones be bi-gones,, open arms of forgiveness, and open arms of love of each other with God doing the squeezing... pray loudly and lots for a particular family.... request from me! HEY! HE HAS A JESUS GRIN! You say,,,what in the heck is a "Jesus Grin"? If you have Jesus in your heart and you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior,,, then your heart is so full,,,that when you look at someone and grin ,,,,it shows,,,Your acceptance,,,,Your repentance,,,Your joy of Him,,,,and it all erupts,,, in a big grin,,,,a "Jesus Grin"... a sign,,, of being a Christian...no kidding!!! People can tell,,,and they will want the same thing,,,it is catching,,,when we testify,,,,this "grin" is a big testimonial... FRIDAY! Good , after Thanksgiving day of stuffing so much! But thankful to God for it! I pray all had a great day and rejoiced in His blessing of this nation! AN EAR TO THE WALL! I walked up on a fellow one day,,,he had his ear to a wall,,,I looked at him,,, he just continued to listen and after a while,, I put my ear up to the wall,, a few seconds later,,I said,,"I don't hear a thing!" He said, "It's been like that all day!". Of course this is a joke, and I have used it before as an illustration to our leaders as follows.. and also to us,,, so read and think about it! It is a lot like our leaders of our government, in their messages today...they talk, we listen at the wall, and we hear nothing,, just the wind! But, today, there is one who calls, and calls us second by second.. This one, the Leader of all is our salvation,, and He is calling to you , to me, today, this second.. If you have not heard Him,, then put your ear back to the wall,, the wall of faith,, open your heart,, then you will hear, and then , if you have not already accepted Him, ,, you should listen and react...Yes,, once you hear Him calling,,, "Come,, come to me!",, then you need to answer right then and there,, "Yes Lord, I am here,, I confess to You my sins,, please accept me in your heart." I can guarantee you.. He has His ear to the wall, listening at all times, and once you ask, He hears, He reacts, and "bamn", you are His,.. just so simple. We need to stop in our tracks,,, listen to this voice calling out...if we don't, and if we don't change our ways,,,and the ways of our co-existers in this world,,,we may loose it all...We cannot turn a deaf ear to this voice,,,for we are on our way to the darkest times of this world,,,and the only thing that can turn it around is this voice we hear,,,"come to me,,,accept me,,,give me your heart and soul,,,show me your faith,,,I will make it right, Just call out to me,,,,I am listening!" Yes,, this voice ,,, is the voice of the SON OF GOD,,,JESUS CHRIST,,,CALLING OUT ! Do you have your ear to the,, "Jesus Wall"? Can you hear Him? Lord, thank You for being at the wall of calling for us, and that You listen 24/7. THURSDAY! Good day to all...for here it is, today, Thanksgiving Day! A day to give thanks to our God for all we have,,, now I ask , just how many will give the true thanks , and really and truly take the time to stop, just long enough and say those words,,, GOD THANK YOU FOR THIS DAY, AND OUR ALL? ANNOUNCEMENT THIS DAY! Today, Forty Nine Years Ago,,, at 7:00 P.M. on a Saturday , this very date, Libby and I met each other at our Church, and before God Almighty, we were married,, WOW,, is God not great... 49 years together, and the love just keeps on growing! Thank You God! THANK YOU ! Two powerful, life changing words, have you used them lately? Thessalonians 5:18- Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Gods' will for you in Christ Jesus. Take the time, to say to God, thank you for all we have...and also take the time to say it to your family,, love ones, and others ,,for all those things they have done for you! You can not say it enough! So stop as you feast today,,,reflect on what you have to be thankful for,,pray that others in this world will be as fortunate as you and I. Thank God for Jesus,,,His love for us all,,,and thank God for the U. S. A. and may He show us His mercy to continue to give us the freedom we have...may I repeat, ALMIGHTY GOD, THANK YOU FROM WHICH IT ALL COMES! WEDNESDAY! Yes, it is the day of the ole camel! Ha! We all get that every week,, and it will always be with us,,, I just wish people would put a daily reminder and big push on God,, and celebrate Him as we all do with the trends of our country... me included,,, so I'll re-say, it sure is a great Wednesday,, and thank You God for it! CAN THEY SEE? When someone looks at you, what, and who do they see? A Christian, or one on Sunday, looked like one, but today is completely different,, or do they see a real EVERYDAY CHRISTIAN? You are what you show, and how you act, and speak! That is a fact , and you are you! Now if this "you" is not liking of the people, and not liking of God, then what will you do.. continue on the path of making all the people and God dislike you, see you, and turn their heads... or do you change to make the people like you, and then you can go to all the functions of the town, special parties, walk the streets and have all waving and kissing the ground you walk on because you have chosen to be for them or like them? or do you just hold your "hill" so to speak,,, and choose God over all, and call Jesus , and be, and speak, and live as a real Christian,,, and then let all else fall where ever it falls, for with God, Good will fall ,,,, maybe we don't always recognize it as good, but it He sends it, it winds up being good..sooo the question again is now that you have read this,, what do you want to be,, SEEN AS A REAL CHRISTIAN HOLDING YOUR "HILL",,,OR just another one on the sidewalk walking and waving right on into hell? Strong, yes! God, thank You for Jesus, and thank You for letting me stand on that hill, and declare you as Almighty God of all,, amen John HIcks I stand on His hill, His ground, with Him, just where do you stand, and walk , with or without.. and as you walk , do you walk the walk , talk the talk ,,, of God or,, what others like to hear? Sometimes it is better to hear rather that appear!

TUESDAY! Welcome to ,,, another of HIS days', given to you and me, as a gift, so open it with love, and faith to the one who gave it, for He could just as easily kept it,,, instead of giving it! Thank You God, for my day! Now enjoy it,, and read below, and think hard and heavy about it!!! ESCALATOR! All of you have seen two escalators in a big department store, one going up, the other going down, side by side. Now I want you to picture this story,,, and then relate it to yourself..... You are an observer of this picture, and this conversation, and then you can ask yourself ,, just how would you handle it! First , you see the escalator go into slow motion.. there stands on the 'up escalator', a small child, and one of the parents, and the parent is holding the hand of the child..as they both are looking at the "down escalator"... on the down escalator is the other parent.. looking up at the child and the other parent... and the conversation goes as follows, the parent on the down elevator will be illustrated as the father, the one with the child will be illustrated as the mother for the story only: Child: Hey dad,, where are you going? Parent: I going to a place that you cannot go with me. Child: Why? Parent: You just can't go! Child: I don't undeerstand, you always said, we will always go everywhere together... Parent: I just can't go with you and mom ever, for I did not get a ticket. Child: You always buy three tickets,, I just don't understand, for Dad , I love you, and I want you with me and mom. Mom said we are going to a place of fun, love, and no worry.. why don't you wait to go where you are going and come with me? Parent: I can't , even though I love you so much also,, I didn't make the plans to get a ticket to go with you.. so I must go on this trip,, even if I don't like it now. Child: Why didn't you plan to go with us,, didn't you not have a chance? Parent: Yes, I had the chance, but I didn't take it.. now , for me there are no tickets left. Child: But I don't understand,, did it cost too much for all of us to go together? Parent: No, it did not cost anything for either trip, as far as money. Child: Then I do not understand, if you love me,, as mom said you did, why are you not with me and when will I ever see you again? Parent: I did not make the decision that your mom made , and you made at church that day, nor any day.. I choose to go a different way... and you cannot come with me, and I do love you, but I will never ever see you again!!! Child: Bye, bye Daddy,, I love you! and yes, the up escalator slowly creeped up into the sky, as the little child waved,, looking down,, and the down escalator slowly creeped down as the parent waved back at the little child.. both with a tear in their eyes.. and a heavy heart... and as you finish this little illustration.. think about it, and think hard about, and right now, this very instance ,,, if you do not know which escalator you are on, or your on the one going down,, then now, make peace with Jesus, and ask Him to accept you , give your all to Him... and then GRAB THE OTHER HAND OF THAT CHILD OF YOURS , ON THE UP ESCALATOR!!! God, I pray, all will ask for Your Son's hand, and take a step onto that up escalator,, the only one, and the only way to You..amen John HIcks I hope , and I pray, all realize just how important this is this morning,, and every time you see an escalator from now on, you will think of this.. and I pray that you made the decison to be on the Jesus, up escalator!

MONDAY! Waking up with the Lord, is sooooo good! Don't you agree? Prayer Requests: Perry Livingston, who fell and broke his arm.. in a sling for now, and going today to have a cast put on it,, Please pray for my good and faithful friend in Christ, that God will heal him fast! For all in our Nation, to start praying for our continued freedom to be able to pray, and live under our God freely, and that our Nation will continue to move from satan, back to God.. for if we don't, then..............! WE NEED TO BE COUNTING! We do need to wait until Thursday to start counting our blessings... we need to do them now.. for what we have.. for there are so many who does not have the things we have, food, drink, warm places, warm clothes, medical attention(for now), freedom,, men and women at our borders, and on the lines of other countries, fighting and protecting our freedoms.. and we must fight also,, for God will give to those who deserve,,, so ask this question of yourself today,, examine yourself this day,, are you deserving? Have you given thanks to Him.. Have you accepted Him without any strings attached? Do you talk to Him? and to others of Him,, often, like at least once a day? Why not more? For He is your life, do you not understand that without Him, you would not be? Well if you have not, and you don't believe in Him, then why are you living, for without Him, and His Son, you will surely die.. with Jesus and through the Cross, you live... soooooo come on, get that head down, and start your "THANKS" right now, and if you have not,, accept Jesus Christ, and prepare yourself for everlasting life, and I mean it.. don't wait, for I pray for all of us to be together in Heaven, and I have , well in advance have started counting my blessings ,, for my Lord knows all my secrets, and yours too.. so TODAY, LET'S START COUNTING OUR BLESSINGS, AND STOP CRYING FOR MORE!! By kicking back,, resting,, non-straining,,, with God Almighty,, try it,, it works!!! *The creative is the place where no one else has been. You have to leave the city of your comfort and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you'll discover is ,,,, YOURSELF! This is the person who can be the greatest thing in your life ,, or the worst enemy in your life.Which one, will you decide to do with yourself... be a Christian, and live with, and for the Lord,,, or,,, be a sinner,, and live with, and for satan? Decision time!Which one will it be? Make a decision,,, either into heaven,, or damnation,,,, and remember the one who is making this greatest decision of your life, and that is YOURSELF!!!! FRIDAY! Well the day all workers have been waiting on,, is here! Finish your work day, and off ,,, for two days,, I hope.. oh no!!! You have the week-end shift,, but, you have your W/E during the week? Either way,, may all have a great week-end, and as you plan, just plan God in what you do, and you will have a great one! Prayer Request: For Marty Sanders.. who will be having back surgery in Columbus Georgia this morning... Please pray for the guiding had of the surgeon, and all the family. Marty is my nephew! May God be with him and all around him this day. MY CUP RUNNETH OVER! ,,My cup of life is full and overflowing,, I am so blessed by my God! What more could I want? Being a human being,, probably if I had pen and paper in hand, I could fill a book of wants,, that is not at all essential with my life of need? No, I actually need nothing! That is hard to believe, but if one will stop and look around them ,, and actually count their at hand blessing,, they might feel the same... maybe not.. but my Lord and Savior has accepted me, and that is the top,, and really only need I have ever had,, and it cost me nothing, but gave so much.. how about you?,, what do you not have , that you need to sustain this life, that you do not have.. is it Jesus, love, food, shelter, clothes, cars, any motor vehicle, warmth, cool, money? The only real need is the first one named, for that is the only need that will get you to where you are actually going.. and He is the only thing that will get you through that eye of that needle! Now, thank about life again, and see as you look down into your cup,, do you see life overflowing out of it, and with Jesus holding the handle of that cup.. or do you see, doubt, smoke, sin, dirt, mud, greed, not even half full and satan holding the handle of that cup? If you have accepted Jesus , really accepted Him,, then you will see WHO IS REALLY HOLDING YOUR CUP,, AND THAT, YOUR CUP RUNNETH OVER! God, thank You for my cup of life,, my, Your Jesus, amen John HIcks As I walk this road of life, I lift up my eyes to the one who gave me the feet to walk this road, and I need not have to say a word, for I already know, my cup runneth over! Does yours, if not , call out to the one who can pour pure love into it, and make it run over, in an instance,, go ahead and call out!!!!!

Today at 4:31 AM THURSDAY- Here we are... another day, another chance to champion our Lord, and I ask first thing out of the bed,,, will you? Will you open your eyes and say good morning Lord? I love you Lord? or will you just get up , as usual , and go out into this day, as all other days, taking for granted, that you have from now till ..... Well , we never know, and there are a lot of people standing at that gate, with a surprised look on their face... and realizing that their chance to make God the Champion of each day, by putting Him first in their thoughts, and first on their tongues.. has passed and now,, well,, thank about it,,, it's your life,, and your choice....Need any other thing be said today.. I think not.. for we all are free souls, for God gave this to us, and said to us... the only way to Me is by the Cross of Jesus.. so where are you going?? WEDNESDAY! Yes, the day of the camel.. well I know,, we all do it for fun,, but today, I proclaim,,, another day of the Lord...and then I proclaim, them all ,, are His, our loan, and let's make sure the interest we pay is to live our eternity in Heaven, and not.... So let's proclaim, and let's act like it!!!! ARMOR ARMOR: a covering, to protect the body,, from hurt! In this world today, we need to wear our armor,,, of some sorts. The protection, from crime, to keep freedom, bad economy, bad food, needed shelter, clothing to stay warm, war, all sorts of things that can hurt us. How do we find the armor that will protect us, from all of these? We can build,, or buy,,, thick metal armor,,, the thickest metals known,,, build underground bunkers,,, purchase extra clothes, grow and preserve our own food,,, have peace negotiations,,, do all of these things , and still,,, we can get hurt, diseased, and yes,,,death. Then how do we make sure we are protected from all of these elements? Accept Jesus,,,the armor of all armors..Yes,,, no matter what we do ,, Jesus comes into play with us all , for that is the only true armor of salvation that is possible...all else is false hope and burnable armor....Yes burnable!!! So the armor to wear., God made in the form, of His Son and a Cross...and He is the only armor that can protect you from all bad elements, and it is absolutely burn proof... and will take you for the ride of your life in this world, and also through eternity... So , let's all get off our butts,,,put on the correct armor,, wear in with pride,,,show it off,,,start helping in the building of Jesus' Kingdom here, and preparing us for all of eternity that follows His coming... let's all put on the shinning invincible,,,,,, ARMOR OF THE LIVING GOD,, & ONE SIZE FITS ALL!!! ALSO COMES WITH A SHIELD OF SURROUNDING OF A MULTITUDE OF ANGELS!!!! TUESDAY! Good morning to all! I have opened my eyes again this morning, and guess what,, yes ,, He is there,, for He is forever,, more precious than diamonds, gold, silver,, and is as a greater friend than you can find anywhere,, so why look any further, yes, I am talking about my companion of this life, my Jesus Christ! Who is that with you? SURVIVED, AND IS STILL THE BEST SELLER! Yes, the BIBLE, has survived more things that has tired to make it extinct.. but no.. God has preserved His word , in writing, and there is nothing in this world, that will ever be able to do away with this book,, so when you get on a computer, or what-ever device man has came up with to read on, or look on,,, just remember ,, there is not another book, that has as many stories of mystery, scary, doom, love, and a saving power as much as God gives.. so when you decide you want to see something powerful, read something powerful,, feel something powerful,, as you OPEN, AND READ THE BIBLE, AND TURN THOSE PAGES WITH STORIES,,, OF LOVE, MYSTERIES, POWER, AND REAL TRUTH! Lord, thank You for Your word, and that we have the privilege in this country to own, and read your word, (silently or out loud) in private, or in the open area of a park or where-ever,, except in the government houses,, out loud, and I pray for that repeal also.. amen John HIcks Read this book every day, and make a difference in your life,, I can guarantee it!

MONDAY! Great Morning!!!! Why do I say this? For as I opened my eyes ,, I knew that God was standing watch, as always, and when I got up,, and took the first steps.. He took them with me,, then the sip of coffee,,, and the look at the semi-fog, the feel of the temperature, and then as we set, we both said, Lord, thank You for this a beautiful day,, for He is the only real "landscaper" ,, for only He knows when to rain, soak, or just dry out.. so sipping as I love to do,,, and most of all,, knowing, I had my God right there with me.. and just how was your waking moments? Prayer Request & Report: Yesterday,, Randy Cochran, sent a note to the church to be read by the preacher.. and it said "There is a God, and He is Holy" ! Then hospice walked in with his wife , who is suffering from brain cancer, and helped her to the altar for prayer of him, her, and all others... and I agree with Randy,,, Wow, what a God...and all the men, and all the deacons walked down, laying hands on this brave woman, prayed with her, and for her, and the family!!! May God continue to work with this family! For Sandy Jackson's daughter, Kimberly, who will under-go throat exportation this morning, may God be with her. TRACKS OF LIFE! We all have looked at the railroad tracks that run across our nation... and all are a certain distance in width,,or the train would jump the tracks, and could not function... and this track takes maintenance on it at all times... for not only does freight travel this track, but humans,,, and at a high speed... so the tracks must be exact.. and these people who ride, and the ones who watch these fast trains go by at a crossing, are trusting, the maintenance men, the engineer, and the faith, all have done their job! Now, we do not live on that perfect track,, we weave here and there,, sometimes we are narrow,, sometimes we are wide,,our minds work good, and bad,, the decision is from us and it is called a brain. It is our "engineer",, and that brain has a fail safe installed in it,, and it is called Jesus,,, put there to guide us back to the straight and narrow,, that God intended us to travel... and we can get back on this straight road ,, if we will use this "fail-safe" ,,, but we have to , by choice,, utter these words to have our "track correction",, happen to us,, and that is ,,,, JESUS, HELP ME, SAVE ME, AND PUT ME BACK ON YOUR FATHERS TRACK OF LIFE! God, my prayer is of asking forgiveness of all who have sinned against You, and I forgive all who have sinned against me.. Be our tracks of life, and guide us with Your son by our side, with the fuel of our faith in Him and of You as the builder of our life, and tracks of our destination.. amen John HIcks I get on the right tracks, then , yes I fall off them often, and I must ask Jesus for correction of my path,, and folks ,, I can feel Him inside of me,,, as He adjusts my path... who do you call on to get on and stay on the right tracks of life? Sunday-Good God's morning!You know, I wonder if the world is being run by smart people, who are putting us on, or by imbeciles, who actually mean it,, and yes,, we are believing in what they say! No, I bleive that most are the smarter ones, and believe in the written and spoken word of God!!! Faith Again! I have touched on this word before,, faith, (Webster: belief in the value , or trustworthiness of someone or something). This little word , believe it or not is the one word that can get you into Heaven or let you down to hell.. for it is the truth , without it , you will not get through that gate into Heaven.. You must believe in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ,, that not only is He alive, but that our God is alive also, with all your heart and soul,, total commitment, your all... yes,, that is the faith that will get you there.. nothing else. Once you accept Jesus by faith, you are on your way.. Peter had faith to start with,,, when Jesus told him to step off the boat and onto the water.. faith to start, then fright as he felt the wind, and started to sink, faith lost,, Lord save me, and Jesus immediately reach out His hand and said , "You of little faith, why do you doubt?" (Matt. 14:31) We as humans are quick to doubt,, lose our faith for just a second,, and that can be a second to much,, for if Jesus had not reached for Peter,, Peter would have sunk,, maybe drowned.. had the faith to step onto the sea , not the faith to also face the wind,, just one more hurdle between him and Jesus. How about you ? Do you have the faith to step upon the sea, walk with Jesus, face the wind,, ? It takes but "that" of "that little seed", remember? You have it,, you just have to learn to trust in Him, when using it.. it will work ,, not for things of selflessness, but what God has in His plan for you. so , call out , accept Jesus and be reborn in the blood of Jesus Christ, recieve Him by FAITH,, AND LIVE FOREVER, IN HIS KINGDOM! God , grant us faith to come to You by way of Your Son , Jesus, and may we walk with that faith until the time to come.. amen John HIcks I have learned to walk ,for even as an adult, I thought I was walking,, until I met and accepted Christ, for then and there, I could see my back trail ofnot steps, but knee prints, and once I cried out,, I was lifted to my feet, and walked not down, but alongside of Him.. Will you cry out now for the rescue of your soul if you have not.. choice is yours, by faith!

SATURDAY! A very good morning to you all,,, and may God be with you in all you decide to do this day,, and be with you by your request to join, instead of observe! Prayer Request, and Prayer Thanks , all on the same family: The family of Randy Cochran! Randy's wife was diagnosed with cancer ,,, and right after that , they found Randy on the front lawn three days ago on thatvery very cold morning, with a very, very slight hard beat,, that was three days ago, and after being in the ICU,, the doctors said , "he is on life support, and that is all that is keeping him alive, he is clinically dead. The family said , take him off life support now,, THEN the doctor said ,, let's wait and do it in the morning, well when the doctor went into ICU the next morning , Randy was sitting up, talking and breathing just fine on his own... family around him with a testimony of a big promised change in his son that al lhad been trying to get hi to do for years,,... now let's thank God for this change in the son, the father, and let's pray hard for the wife and mother of this changed son.. may all credit go to our Almighty God, for this is a true story and this miracle just happened yesterday morning! Prayer does work, we just don't ever know how He will answer! I PICKED YOU! Ever been ready to start a game,,, and the gang decide to pick sides,,, and then they do.. and you wait with a heart beat of a long distance runner,, waiting, yes just waiting for your name to be called, and if called quickly, you jump up and down,, if not you lower your head, and then your heart is heavy, and you are very sad! The same as when you hear someone talk of a party that you feel like you should have been invited to, and was not... or some sort of trip,, something you wanted to be picked ,,, but was not.... and you had no control on these picks, and your heart stays heavy and sadden... WELL,, there is one thing you can do right now, if you have not, and that is to ask Jesus to come into your heart, accept Him as your Savior of life over death,,, be prepared for your trip to Heaven... and when the time comes... instead of just waiting while it gets hotter and hotter under those feet, and that heart beat goes down, down,, you will hear this YOU THERE,, JESUS POINTING AT YOU,, AND SAYING IN ALOUD VOICE, I PICK YOU!!! FOR YOU PICKED ME FIRST! So come stand with me, and let's go to Heaven ,,,TOGETHER,,, and then you are not left there on the playing field ,, of life on this earth!! make a choice, today! FRIDAY! TGED! Welcome Friday! The day of workers to finish, then the W/E,, but to some, it is just another day , just ahead of the days you work, for you work w/e's also! Either way,, welcome this , another of one of Gods' great days, given as a greater gift than any man could ever do.. for days, nights, life, is really that of a gift to us.. from Him! SCATTER! When we were kids, and we were doing something that our parents did not approve of, or even if we were at someone else's house, and someone saw the parents coming,, the word was "scatter"..and in hopes, that either none would be caught, or only a few.... but eventually,,, all would get it,,, whatever the parents decided to give out... and folks ,,, some of our neighbors,,, if it was bad enough would include us in the little stick that wheeled respect, manners, and most of all,,, discipline,,, Now,,,, this word also went with me , through school, service,, and in the service, it could be death if not heeded...and in this life of ours,, if we are in SIN,,, doing against God, and satan is at work,, or we see satan coming toward us... then we need to holler ,,, JESUS, JESUS!,, not scatter,, scatter,,,, then watch the devil "scatter" to parts unknown, but gone! Lord, thank You for sending us our guard against sin,, Your, our Jesus Christ! amen John HIcks Had to scatter a lot in my life, but I could always count on the "real thing" ,,my Jesus Christ,,, to my rescue, and folks , He is still at work on me, and millions of others,, for God gave us one thing, and we , and only "we" must exercise this ,, and that is the thing of "CHOICE".. FOR JESUS ,,, or not,, but yours and yours alone! Now, make it.. right now, later is later, and may be to late!

THURSDAY! Good "cold" morning from "middle Georgia"! Heat on, and feels good,, WOW! We are blessed in our old age,,,, dry house, warm house, feeling great and loved in this house, and most of all, and most important thing in this house,, God, and Jesus are here, and will always be welcomed here, no matter the country's' politics, nor satans wants,,, God always wins out, He is the greatest,,, and today I ask you... how is the order of your house and WHO & WHAT comes first in your house? RING OF JOY! I know , most of you have already forgotten what a ring of a phone is,,,most of you have some sort of ring tone of something out of the box of an old fashion ring.. right? Well I grew up with the ring of a regular phone,, and we still have our land line as it is called now. It still rings just like it the one we got on the ole farm,, only when it rings ,, we know it is for us.. for on the first one at the farm,, we had to wait and see if it was four short rings,, then it was for us... yes, we had not a four party phone, but an eight party,, to start with,, now if you could have been there to see all the faces as that phone rang... and if Mom or Dad was in that room,, you had better keep your hands off the phone,,, for one of them would answer it, Dad first, Mom if Dad didn't move, but us young ones, not a move, and when we heard their voices,, say ,,,"may I ask who's calling?",,, we all waited to hear our name , in hopes to be called,, and if it did,,,did everyone leave the room, nope,, they just set and kept on doing what ever it was they were doing... but rest assure,, Mom & Dad, heard ever word of your side, so you had to be very careful,, and wow,, did you get ribbing, if they turned and said your name, and said a girls name wanted to talk to you... you wanted more than ever to hear that, yet ,you were scared t death to talk,, for what would follow you after,, the teasing, and the finger pointing,, but with our sister,, that was not allowed.. just on the boys.. yes, there as honor in our house,,, for it was led by God fearing parents. who did not spare the rod,,,, the belt,, but never abused it either, and gave an abundance of love out... more than at the time we gave back,, so now, when that phone rings, and of course we have "caller ID",,, and one of our children's name appears on that screen ,,, and no matter how often it is that one of them calls,, or it is a brother, a sister, a love one, a good friend, my heart still jumps at the sound, and now in this time, seeing the ID,, yes, it is surely,,, a sound that some day we will hear ring, that will be even a bigger and more important ring,, yes THAT RING OF JOY FROM OUR LORD....FOR WE ARE HIS CHILDREN, THANK ABOUT IT... and if you are old enough to have had an old type phone,,(land line) that rang,, think of the times you got calls of joy, and what I call a "heart rush" in hopes it was just for you,, maybe for the boys, a girl-friend, or for the girls,,a boyfriend!!! "heart rush!!!!" "heart rush"!!!!" Lord, thank You for the mind to still remember all the good times of our days, just like as yesterday,, a neighbor driving by, stopping to just say,, nothing more than a hello, and give a big ole smile,, ad on their way,, for Lord it is You,,, who give us these moments, these rings into our hearts and souls,,and I say with a loud voice this day,,, thank YOU! amen John HIcks Thankful , for being able to express my thanks to my God for the memories, good and bad,,, and I try to put the bad ones behind me, as I learn from them all, but makes one feel better to remember the good ones, and let me tell you all,,, God loves to see you and I smile , and feel good!!
