JUST LISTENING!

Thursday-As you wake, and start your day , don't forget that you need to have have a big bowl of Jesus Christ to get you going,,, the saying,, breakfast is the most important meal to nourish the body and give it the strength for the day,, So why not partake of the nourishment and strength of the Lord Jesus Christ,, who bore it all for us.. Go ahead and receive this nourishment as you start your day,, Have a free bowl!

Prayer Request: For Dale Jackson, who lost her husband , Alton, Tuesday.. pray that she finds the strength of Jesus to hold to,, and let Him give her the strength to make it through this time of lost.

Just Listening!

Sometimes we treat God with so much ,,, "I just take You for granted". I just sit, stand around,, with my mouth, my ears, my heart,, closed! I just stand and lean on a bare wall,, never letting Him lean back,,, I am a silent partner! We need to escape this stance.. we need to not take God for granted, for He stays with you by request, for He will not force Himself on you. He gives you "choice"! He talks, , He gives you the ability to open your ears.. He asks for you, He gives you the ability to talk.. He asks for you to walk and carry His word,, He gives you motion.. God is there , ready, all He wants is for you to commit to Him and His Son.. He wants you to listen to the love and opportunities He has to pour upon you,,, just for coming and asking Him to come into you, and you into Him.. Then why are we still standing , leaning upon the wall of sin,, suffering the way to hell.. and not the eternal love and life with God? Why do you lean on nothing and not lean on the Cross of Jesus,,,, It just does not make sense , for as smart as we of the human race are, yet some,,, are so dumb, they are like the remains of a cut tree,, cut & rotting as a stump.. Are you one of those? IF you are,, stop,, open your mouth and call out,, ask for Him,, He will come,,He will save , He will take you off that wall of sin, and give you purpose for life.... like you have never ,, ever had.. so come on!!
One last saying and "listen" good... as you lean on that wall ,, so is Jesus leaning also, with His ear pasted to it.. just waiting,, and God walks by,, He asks Jesus , "Have you heard anything ?".. Jesus says no, been like this all day long..
Now , listen to me,, do you want to stand before God almighty and have him say,, I do not know you, and you look over to the side and see Jesus with an ear to a wall???

STILL listening, for the voices of those who call out!


God, I come to you,,, I pray that Your words go out and bring in a herd of lost sheep by using all those who read this today, and that they might be listening and talking also.. amen

I HEARD A SMILE TODAY!

Wednesday-All have climbed to the "hump" of the week,, and all are ready to make that slide to the week-end! Patience and faith will get you there! While you slide through these next few days ,, smile a lot, even laugh out loud, for smiles and laughter is the wax of life,,, that makes any slide of any day, go by with ease, but slowly and enjoyable!


I HEARD A SMILE TODAY!

You say , Heard a smile today? Why can't you just say , you heard someone laughing. no, I heard a smile, for when I saw it, it was merely lips curled up, and the body was moving all over.. no sound , but you could see, straight from the heart, but for some reason, you could tell that smile was erupting deep within,, a real genuine non fake smile that shouted out love like you have never seen before... Everyone in the room could hear that love ,, of a baby to his father... then the sound we hear came forth as the baby , cried out in glee, and wiggled even more.. Yes , this kind of smile you don't get very often,, the one you feel, and hear before the voice can come forth...
Do we ever put forth that kind of a smile,, the kind of an act, the one of innocent, the one of seeing a love that is so real, we don't even know what doubt is,, that it does not belong to us,,,,and that it is special ,,to just us! We can see it in a baby's reaction to the touch of a father, or mother,, and that baby knows this,, not take for granted, but knows this love is real, and that baby gives back just as much love as given to them, without hesitation of any kind.. Can we see that smile from God,,the one that every time you talk to Him , erupts on His face, as He hears the love from one of His creations, and do you feel the love He gives back , without hesitation, nor without any strings attached, just warm, pure and innocent love,, a smile that can be heard all over Heavens, for that is how much He endears each of us when we talk to Him... Did you know that ? Did you know that God has dimples so deep from smiling ? Yes there are countless ones, calling out to Him each minute, each second, and giving Him smile after smile ! Are you one of them , or are you the one that is putting that tear about to flow from His eyes as He sees you set ,, silent? Listen real close, real close, as He listens to you pray, can you hear

HIM SMILING, AS YOU TALK TO HIM?

Lord, thank You for sending me a loud smile back as I pray to You , for I send this prayer to You, in love and faith that You will continue to have me in Your realm.. and hold each who reads this in your everlasting arms. amen

Do you remember the "thoughts" that I wrote on about the atheist who was under fire on the battlefield, and crawled into the foxhole for safety, and hollered out , "Save me God , save me! Here is the point, that at the end and under the pressure , people see the end, & all of a sudden , they believe.. they have that chance,, not all do.. What about that atheist who is still on the battlefield crawling desperate to the "foxhole" of safety,, the hole that is going to save him or her? Has that person got to crawl all the way to the "foxhole" to find safety and be saved? What if they don't make it? It is the same as the one who did make it, but only got bombed just as they crawled into the "safety hole"! What is the point? Don't wait on finding the "foxhole of safety", nor wait until you are under-fire on the battlefield of life,, stop this instant,, and if you have not been saved by the Grace of Jesus,, ask for Him now, right now,, and He will come to you this instant! For you may not have the promise of a battlefield , nor the foxhole.. so do it now,,, while you have this chance and are off the battlefield, and

OUT OF THE FOXHOLE!

God, thank You for giving me an advance on joining the realm of Jesus Christ as my Savior, and not wait on the "chance" and I ask that you show others this veil of your saving power.. amen

Sunday-As God finished making this world,, then after He made man,, He sat back, both times, and smiled and said it is all beautiful and all is good! I just wonder what He would say today, right now? I cringe as to what man has done to a masterpiece!

Prayer Request: Pray for the "Cross Ministry" and for the Lord to give continued strength and faith to this revival, the distribution of His sign,, a "Cross".

I read on Face book a saying by a lady that said , "Go out and be the Sun!, and shine on someone today!" I say, are there many "Suns" out there today? The ones with the true rays , from the real Son, who shines brighter than the "sun". I think there are many, many millions who believe, and I think there are millions out there who believe, but are afraid to speak up for the Lord... Yes , I believe that 80% of real Christians out there have had a bad case of lip glueing.... together with super-glue. Why do I believe this? For I look around and see the crime, the killing -just to be killing,, the turn on brother against brother, sister against sister, parents being hurt,, killed by their children, and sex on the local market, and will be soon a 24 hour store on the corner with a check out just as your corner market, and their produce is not only adults,,, but children.. this is the way of another place I can see from the Bible ,, and God did not spare that place !
Are we headed that way? Can we stop this trend? What can we do?
We can come out of our shells, and be tall as the Redwood, and speak our peace, forget about prison, Paul never let prison worry him.. We must be faithful, and not with just our lips glued together, no! We must seek the glue remover of removers, and that is Jesus Christ,, He will open your mouth, He will help you speak , He will stand with you, He will hold you in His palm.. All you have to do is stand up, get off your behinds, speak to all you know about God. If we all don't get on this wagon of revival,, then this world and our country will vanish , just as sure as the Sun goes down,, so , come one, come all, let's keep our Son of Man, up and shinning, speaking for all, let it be known, we are a turned Nation, one under God, and we want everyone to know this,, We are The United States of America, One Nation Under God, and are not ashamed to say it.. WELL??? SAY IT!!!

Saturday- Good morning, once upon a time, I lived,, I gave my soul to Jesus Christ, and now,, I am alive, alive!

THE WORKERS/THE TALKERS!

In all areas of work, you have those who can just about do anything handed to them as an assignment,,, they are multiple talented. You have those who are great at doing just what they are trained to do,, with very little supervision. You have those who will preform for long hours, that extra little,, what ever it takes.. the ones who you see always busy.. and you know,, that busy,, keeps you out of trouble,, most of the time. These are the workers!
Now, you have the talkers, who can do anything, not almost anything, but anything. Just ask them. You start talking about something,,, and you will find them quick, for as soon as you hit the subject, they will almost interject the course and give you the exact definition, best way of doing it,, how long it will take, how important the quality is, then when they are finished, they will briskly turn and walk away to a spot of another needed expert in a field of whatever.. they can not wait to return, after the job is done, and then also cast their inspection of the job.. This is a talker!
Now, when it comes to the work of God,, the testimony of Jesus Christ,, spreading His work, being an example, jumping in and giving a helping hand , with no payback , except the feeling of just doing it.. which are you?

I have done it! Go ahead! It feels good,,, if you have someone waiting on you, or can hear you, it is o.k. , they will wait, and listen,, they will understand! Maybe , just maybe,, they just might join you! Then that would be one more, (YES!),, so think !

Thursday- Wake up! Get out of that bed! Smile real big! Take a deep breath! Shake real good(kinda like a an ole dog does when its' wet)! Now, don't you feel great! Now, thank God for being able to get out of bed, smile, breath, & yes, even shake,, for without Him ,, you just would not be!


SOLID!

Be as solid as a rock for your God. Don't bend, sway, break, or deny your God. He is the only God to have in front, back, side, or within yourself.. When you worship , worship Him, put all things, including self, aside. Talk directly to Him! Stay away from the sandy places, so that you may stay steadfast, and not wash down the stream of non -believers. Make a foundation, pour yourself with prayer, let God be the re-bar that holds you strong, and together, where you will not break, nor wash away, and be steadfast,,, Hit the knees, and start the foundation by accepting your Savior , Jesus Christ. Once this is done, the re-bar is in place.. do this!!!,,, and have a great and real

SOLID LIFE!

WEDNESDAY! Now that you have climbed to the top of the "hump" of the middle of the week,, before you start your slide to the W/E.. STOP! Look back, and see who got you to the top,, who was it that carried you when it was far , high ,& slippery, like you just couldn't quite make it? and who is going to go slide the rest of the distance with you? Well look!,,,,, He is sitting right next to you, say , thank you!


AS I WALK!

As I walk out the door, into the yard, down the road, to a movie, to a restaurant, to a job, to anywhere,,, I first dress my self for the occasion. We all do ,, for dress is of a very big importance of an American... just stand on a corner and watch the people parade by, look at what they have on.. and then watch their eyes,,,, as they look also,, at you! Yes , we are a people on a boardwalk of notice and modeling,, wherever we go... Our conscience is what we wear,, more than what we do, where we go, how we act, who we care about,, how we live, our dress tells just what we are doing where we are headed,, if we really look.
When I walk, I dress for what-ever also.. work, job, fun, but I also put on my cloak of protection,, one that tells me if I am wearing something decent, something that tells people I am a good person,, that I am going to the right places, I am saying the right words,,, showing me the way,, my guide through the day, the week, the year, the life,, my GPS tracker,,,,,
My cloak , my protector, my conscience,, is the Lord Jesus Christ. I have asked Him to join me in all that I do, so when I awake, He is there, when I rise and go about my chores of the day, inside , outside, He is there, so who do you take to walk with you as you are dressing for your day? Who is your cloak of protection, and designer of your day, week, year, life,, just who do

YOU WALK WITH? REALLY?

Lord, thank You for my "cloak", and may all who read this, will wear Him where-ever they go, and wear Him with pride and dignity. amen

Tuesday! Don't rush through your day,, and lose your day! Slow down, and give your heart to all you see,, then you will be a gainer, and not a loser,, that is Gods' plan, and ? It feels soooooo goooood!

The above are the only two answers you can give to the question, "Do you believe in God and Jesus Christ, and the saving power of both?". You cannot be both on this subject,, for my God will not allow you to set on a spit fence,, He is a jealous God, for even though He made all, and gave you and life itself,,He wants us,, so He gave us this "choice" , to love Him and be His, or to love satan, and be his. You must make the "choice" to come to Him, live in Heaven or you come to satan, live in hell.. that is all there is ! Accept God, or Not! Your "choice".
Now there is this person who claims to be an atheist, Christopher Hitchens , who has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer and is undergoing treatment. He stills says there is no God and he does not believe in God at all. He also stated that just because he had contracted this cancer,, that everyone, especially the ones who have fought against him on his beliefs(which is his choice),, are waiting for him to change as he progress' to the later stages. Even now, as he receives his treatment, His statement to them all.. is " Go to hell". Now is that not peculiar? One who does not believe in God, does believe in hell? He has just confessed to that, for he wants to send the believers there! There are only two choices, God or satan! Now , deep down,, he believes.. but he must still make that choice,, and it seems like , even though he has contradicted himself , by admitting there is a hell,, he has made his decision to go there for he knows , in his mind, there is a hell,, so ? He has made a choice.
Now,, it is still up to us to make our own decisions ,, to deny or not to deny... what is your answer,,, if asked if you believe in God, and the Son, Jesus Christ, that they both are real , and alive today, just as they always have been? You have but one "choice"! Go ahead and be not afraid to proclaim .......

God , may we all follow You, and may You have mercy on this man and forgive him, as of right now, and change his mind,, and God,, give us the strength to bear above and beyond all atheists' who step in our paths to You. amen

WHAT IS THAT CHIP?

Monday--Welcome to the day of color... this being the only day ,I am aware of, as having any color? ("Blue Monday".) Well , you can be a little "blue smurf" and stay in the cartoons, or you can wake up with a reflection of a bright light from a cross that is beaming with the greatest color of all, the clear , cleansing , warming , light of Jesus Christ! better than being blue all the time, for this color , shines for an eternity!

WHAT IS THAT CHIP?

Do you ever look in the mirror and see anything, like a "chip" on your shoulder? No , I have never seen one on mine either,,,,but,, I have been told, I, at times do have one perched right up there in plain sight! I go to a mirror,,still, I can't see it, but then I can feel it,, and it is not up on my shoulder, it is in my heart,, I have let the worst thing of all happen to me,, I have let ole satan ease in.. and he climbs up on that shoulder for all to see by coming into my heart and then working my mind and tongue.. We all have that little chip on our being at one time or another , and some refer it as something else on your shoulder, but all in all it is just satan, working away on our faith , and trying to root Jesus out,, but you know , he can't ,, if Jesus decides to slap him right back into hell. Jesus will use that terrible swift slap of His, and bamn, satan is gone, but only when we ask for it! Yes, Jesus is just waiting, God has given Him to us , then why do we let satan in? I am in awe that we do, with the Prince of Peace, and Salvation within us, and we make way for that little worm of satan to ease in.. to put that chip of dismay on & in us,, when we should be shouting about that little cross we project on our shoulder, the one we show with our actions of good , not sin.... So let's all re-vamp,, ask Jesus to come in "PERMANENTLY".. put a anti-satan gate up on our soul,, and kick that chip on our shoulder right back to hell... and let us shine the gospel light of salvation to all we see.. come on ,,
,

We go through this life with a lot of love given, and a lot of love taken. We as humans, expect "that" part of life to be there for us from someone,,,moms, dads, children, grandmas , granddads, grandchildren, boyfriends , girlfriends, and friends. All of these give out a grandeur of love that can match no one else here on this earth.
If we all could give the most honest love that I have witnessed, we could conquer the world with it,,,for no one could reject it as it is so pure and this is that of a child,,,or a grandchild....I have seen the love given out by my grandchildren to their parents,,,and their grandparents,,,given,,, with no thoughts of gain,,,except the smile of a return love and acceptance....wow! What a love!!! Why can't we see this honest and real love right in front of our eyes,,,a love that wants only you, and nothing else,just to save you,, and it is from Jesus Christ,,,whom loves us even more than those little children,,,and is sending out this powerful love for only the return love and acceptance from us to Him,,,and he can give us everlasting love for eternity,,,,but some still turn their heads,,,,away! Please turn your eyes slowly around and look Him in the eyes and see this

GRANDPARENTS DAY!

Saturday! TGFTD- As you wake, you are given continued life to start this day, be mindful to fulfill it to the utmost,, give a smile, give a hug, give a loving word,, make it a full day, for the instant is all the promise we have, and God wants us to be happy and loving for the time we are given here,,, and as long as you have Him, there will be an eternity of that to come after here, so say again, as long as you have Him!!!

GRANDPARENTS DAY!

As you raise your children, and are involved in the day to day with them,, and then the days of special meaning at their school or some other social event,, is a remembrance of a parents mind that will never leave the memory. Then after they are grown, off to their world, you have ,,yes , those memories. You feel like that is it! No more memories to make.. and then get this invitation to your 5 year old grandchildS kindergarten class room,, it is called "Grandparents Day"! Wow, we are there,,, and believe me, we had to sit in those little chairs, and for someone as old as I am, and as heavy as I am, just this was an ordeal.. but done with a smile, and a heart so full.. it was overflowing. My little Carly calls me P-Papa, and when we set down at that table , and she gave me that smile, and those eyes lite up as she set with three of her grandparents , and the teacher asked her to call out our names,, ours had not changed,, it was with a glow, as she pointed that little finger towards me and said loudly ,when asked who we were, P-Papa,, then she turned and called out the other grandparents there,,, her Grammy, and her Me-mama.. Now this is the time , even in that little class room , looking at the very young , and the very old,, that you know ,, God is real,, God is alive,, God is there with you, and He has the biggest smile of all, for he is looking at his creation from then to now.... He created us all, and ,, yes,, the best of all of us was at that age ,, and that is what God had made us all for and intended for us to be throughout our lives,, INNOCENCE,, WITH NO HATRED, NOR ILL FEELING OF ANYONE, BUT JUST LOVE AND HAPPINESS..

What in the heck happened to humans after childhood?

FRIDAY-TGIF-TGFT- Stop today,, and take the time to love four things, in this order,,, God, Jesus, friends, and yourself!!! Then,, set back and feel the return of that love come back to you within,,, 100 times as strong,, yes,,, even back from yourself!!!!


LIFE!


What is life? It is more than just existing. It is more than just breathing. It is more than just slowly counting your birthdays while your body gets older and weaker. It has taken me many years of learning and growing, but I think that now I am finally beginning to understand what life is and what life isn't.

Life isn't some frantic race towards some distant goal. Life is a leisurely walk you take each day seeing all the wonder and beauty around you. Life isn't some tightrope balancing act where you must be perfect or lose everything. Life is a joyful stroll down some old railroad tracks where if you fall off you just smile, laugh, and jump right back on. Life isn’t some worrisome counting of every penny you make. Life is smelling flowers, smiling at sunrises, playing with laughing children, and collecting priceless memories. Life isn't what happens to you. Life is rather the many wonderful choices that you make all through the day and all through your life.

It is these many wonderful choices that bring you the joy you seek. It is these many loving choices that bring you the love you need. It is these many Heavenly choices that bring you the oneness with God you desire. It is these many choices that allow you to smile and forgive instead of stewing in your anger when someone hurts you. It is these many choices that allow you to laugh and love instead of despair when things go wrong. It is these many choices that allow you to give joy and goodness to others instead of always trying to get things from them.

All of life comes down to the many wonderful choices we make each day.
Let's use them to choose a lifetime of love, joy, peace, happiness, goodness, delight, and oneness with God for ourselves. Let's use them to bless the world, help others, and bring truth, joy, love, and light to everyone we meet.

Thursday- When you feel down, just quite alone, like ,,, you just don't really have anyone, to love , hug, be with, talk to,,, just feel ,,, yes alone,, and in despair. If you open your eyes, open them for real,, see the light is little brighter, feel that little tug on your arm, the tap in the heart making it beat just a little different, that inner over all feeling of someone around? Yes , its your best friend right there with you,, JESUS.... just tugging to let you know ,, that NO! You are not alone! Jesus does that,,, hangs around ,,,, even when you are calling deep , deep inside and silently,, calling out for help!!!!!!......Jesus is at your side 24/7!!!!

Don't let life get you in despair. Open up, let Him in! He is patiently waiting, just for you to give the word, and He will be within making you feel up! not alone! giving a hug, and a tug! making you feel good! making your eyes see brighter! your heart beating with a thump of love! inner feel of happiness! taking you to the wildest high you have ever or will ever have been on in this world! Prayer Request: Charles Stansell and family, who lost his wife, Brenda on Saturday, Pray for the relief from the grief of this lost, and may God wrap His arms around him, and the two boys and give them His love and warmth to endure this.

Welcome to Tuesday, again? must have had a "senior " moment yesterday! Oh well, I got caught back up today,, if you can't enjoy a laugh on yourself, then you are a prune! Today is a wonderful day, why, for I awoke with God in my heart, and eyes,, yes my eyes also, for when I opened them and looked around the house, then outside, I knew then and there , I was looking at God, and then I smiled, & realized also, there He was ,,just looking back!

Whoa , you say, what is this guy talking about? His moment with God? Yes, I say, my moment with God! What ? You never had one? Why, I have had many.. in fact , every time my heart beats is a moment with God, for what do you know that works like this , that is man made.. nothing!!.. replicas maybe, but no real flesh and blood. Built right from the DNA of God. Whoa, there he goes again, saying his DNA is that of God! And I say, YES, it is!!! We are all built in His image, and from that image was we formed, out of dirt, but when God breathed into our lungs, we became a likeness not only of body, but of Him.. that means to me, that chain of DNA make up, is , of course , His.
So at all times we have our moments with Him.. for as we walk and talk , so does He, we can listen by looking, receiving,, and giving back , and enjoying the moment,, for without that moment , we would not be here. Folks , we are His!! Do you really get what I am saying,, if not , then "re-receive" Jesus Christ as your Savior, trust in God, then stop in your tracks, take a deep breath,, and open your eyes, and then you will also realize , you have just had one of Your moments with God ! Imagine , existence without a Heaven! Yes there was a time.. so where does God, live? In the universe of time, to big for us to comprehend. Jesus went and prepared us a place, and in John, He makes the statement,, Life with You,,( talking to His Father , God,,) before this world.. It is really hard to just set back and think of all this,, for it will blow your mind.. so God built a "world " , gave it to us with all its glory and goodness,, then we sinned,, and God gave us us a plan out of this,, His Son,, and then built us a Heaven,,something we can comprehend and something we can look forward to and believe in. Well , maybe all can say "heaven", but not all can believe in it, for they stray to far from Him, the one who came,, to give us the path, the way to this great place.. a place built where there will be no "want".. can you just close your eyes , take a deep breath, and believe... believe.. and live , really live.. Reach out to those who do not believe, those who have sinned,, and have not accepted our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.. It is our destiny to do this,, in what ever way we can.. if it is only a word uttered to someone,, just a word of encouragement, a word of invitation,, come on ,, all, lets pass the word,, God has built us a Heaven,, our own, to walk and talk and live in forever with Him,, why would anyone trade a short time here trapped in sin ,, for an eternity in hell? It just does not make sense. Well , do you want to travel on the right path,, then grab hold of that hand, the one with the scar of a nail hole in it, the "Man" with a face of life , grab ... and let's travel through this life to the place called Heaven, the place

No, not if we don't stand up and defend our God each day, every time we hear His name in vain, we don't correct that person who said it.. all you have to do , is say to they person, "I know God, and I do know His last name is not dammit".. Sure, some may try to do you harm when you say this, but some may listen,, yes listen , and walk off and start their minds to thinking enough that they start to tread toward the Lord.. this is what I am talking about.. the Harvest,, God has planted it for us to reap, and we set on our backsides, and listen to the garbage each day, and never make a move.. "WE" MEANS ALL, NOT ONE, OR TWO, BUT ALL!!!
If I told you today, that you cannot put a cross up on the side of a road,, what would you do.. just not do it? Or would you do as one man did, stand up,, start making them in abundance and giving them out FREE,, to all comers to put in there yard to show they are Christians.. People are starting to come,, yes , this man has sickle in hand, and he is in field , he is taking on satan and cutting him down, he is but one, but he is taking in the harvest,, May God lead Him on.. Come now.. all of us,, open our mouths , use our tongues for Him, be a worker,, not a shade tree proper.. drink not the wine of satan , but the spirit of love from the Father, our God! It will carry you to and through the field.. it will help you lift the word of salvation and spread it to all you may see or talk to.. use your cell phone,, use it to text messages, it is the one thing people carry more than their Bible.. come on help in the telling of the old, old story of Jesus Christ and His saving power,, The "Harvest " is ripe,, waiting on you and me,,, so,, come help in the......

Saturday- the anniversary of September 11, 2001. Our United States was attacked! The Muslim born terrorists, flew two planes into the Twin Towers of New York City, New York, loaded with innocent passengers, and the Towers loaded with innocent citizens, (friends, family, love ones), then another plane, headed for Washington DC, taken over with these same group of terrorists, loaded with innocent passengers , crashed,, in a field in Pennsylvania,,,, all on United States soil... Yes , I remember this, and someone tell me, that this is o.k. ? Someone can tell me that these terrorists went to our Heaven for this act.. then that someone is not of my faith.. and to forgive these terrorists, is my faith, but with God only as my Savior, can I even fathom the idea of forgiveness. I can not stand and let these people who are sworn to kill all Christians,, roam our land, no , I cannot.. for God even gave the Israelites the ability to defend themselves against all comers on their journey to the promise land, so I stand for the United States of America and I stand against all comers who will come to destroy it, our way of life, and the country that God has given me and you to live in and defend to this day,, yes, I will stand on her banks, and I will help send all those who believe as those terrorists did,, to their heaven , and as many as come, will I send!
Yes , I remember the 9/11 attack, and will never forget it, and I hold up my heart to those that was lost, and to those who were sparred, and to all those who helped in the rescue, and those especially who stand for the freedom and the defense of our Nation, and our God,,

TURN AROUND "OCCASIONAL'S"!

What in the world does this mean? It is a phrase for those who are themselves as the occasion deems. If that person is around a crowd of prayers,, then they pray: if around a crowd of cursers, then they curse: if they are around a bunch of drunks, then they become drunk: they are the ones who want to fit in the crowd,, no matter what you say or do.. they are with you,, not themselves, except the conception that they are by putting on this "face" of agreement with whatever you do..
It is like on Face-book, e-mails, news, magazines , people (like you and I),,,that will make a statement of good, then one of bad,, how is this? I see so many on FB,," we love Christ,, hit like,, if you do too; then on down on the page you see the same person with something completely the opposite.. it makes bad for the ones who are true.. It is for the "now", not the "later".
We live more for the "now" , than we do for the future. We do not stand for the right things, and stay in place on that stance.. no we are more for the "now" the occasion at hand..
Let's all re-visit ourselves. Look deep into our hearts and minds . Do we find God, Jesus anywhere within these sights? If we do, and if we have accepted them as our Future, no matter what, then our stance becomes solid, like a rock, un-moving, we or not occasional,, we are futuristic, we are real,,, stay focused people.. WE ARE TRUE TO OURSELVES, we are not

A TRUE LOVE STORY!

WEDNESDAY! Hump day! How is your climb going? Are you sure you are ready to start your slide to the week-end? Have you prepared yourself ,, for sure? Have you had your slide sanded to smooth, or are there a few splinters left,, like a little of satan and not enough of God? Better a smoothie,, nice and cool, soooo,, take the satan completely out,, then have a nice splinter free slide, right into the W/E!!!

A TRUE LOVE STORY!

We all fall in love with someone in our lifetime, how long it lasts,, we don't know, we just have to live it the best we can. We can try all kinds of things, gifts, trips,, money,, but the only thing that will last is love.. without it, there is no love story!
I want to tell the story ending of the greatest love story I have ever witnessed.. some of you probably have witnessed one of your own.. Well here goes,, maybe long , maybe not. When my father(Mahlon) was sick and on his death bed, my mother(Lilla) was always at his bedside,, with the strength of no one I had ever seen.. Dad had a strong "constitution", just when we thought he was going, and he would be in and out of the hospital,, he would gain a little strength,, come home,, then go down, and back in the hospital.. I would go by on my way to and from work,, and my mom would go to the sun room for just a short while , and I would set with my Dad,, They had given up housekeeping in Alabama, and moved in with my sister here in Georgia. My Mom, called me at work, said this is it, come quick, I worked far off , 54 miles,, and I rushed to my sisters' house, and as I drove up, I saw the ambulance, and police, I knew , I was too late.. as I walked into the house,, I found my Mom in the den.. she was crying, but not with total abandonment.. After the hugs of endearment to each other..
Mom said,, "let me tell you how your Daddy died.."
She said as I looked down on him,, I told him, "I loved you Mahlon, so very much!".. My dad smiled, squeeze my moms hand, then said with a light voice,, "Lilia , I love you very , very much",, smiled a little bigger, and exhaled to meet his Savior.. I always thought , how great it is to be able to say our good byes like that! It is a wonderful thing, and I believe that God was right there holding both of them at the time, for both were great Christians..
My Dad knew this time,, no fighting back, just saying his goodbyes, and going on that final trip, Mom knowing also.. and my finally to you all,, are we as ready as my dad? Have we secured that trip, the knowing with a big smile right now , not at the end , but now, that we are headed to Gods' Heaven, and not to hell? Have we secured and are we living with God NOW? Are we living in

God, thank You for my parents, and thank You for taking them, may you have the same mercy on all of us, and open the gates of Heaven for us all at our time. amen

A fallen angel , put out by God,, forever to be damned in hell, and I will not deny the work of God,, and you had better not also. For satan works each second, of each day, to lure you away to the darkness of his smoking , burning inferno of hell.. So stand tall for God, and Jesus the Son,, put your Cross out in front of you and your words, for this is the one thing that will turn satan to the side, around, and backwards from you.. back where he belongs, but you must keep Jesus there in front at all times...satan was there to tempt Jesus, but to no avail, and just as God put the purity in His Son, and the ability to repel satan and sin, (for sin is satan,,,) He put it in us also, through The Son Of Man, Jesus Christ!

Saturday! Thank you God for it,, and thank you this Labor Day week-end, for having labor to perform, and having the ability to perform. May we all give you the total thanks this long three day luxury!

We all have had someone at sometime , yell,, "LOOK OUT!".. When they do,, we duck our heads , look quick and move whatever part of the body necessary to avoid whatever it is they are warning us about. If we are in time, we have a miss! We come out o.k., if not,, maybe we have a near miss, and the "hit" is not as bad as it would be if we had not had the warning.
It is called , love, friends, care, and accountable. These words are used to describe why you heard that "LOOK OUT". Without those words, you could have a hole in your head, broken limbs from whatever.. just a wreck of things,,, Wow! Thank goodness for those who hollered!
Now here comes satan,, just loping down the road,,, kicking everything he can right out in front of us,, throwing things at us like , aged fruitful drinks,,, dope, wrong sex, hurting others, being just stupid , even killing people.. and do we see anyone going around hollering at the top of their lungs,, "STOP! LOOK OUT" , IT IS satan, and HE IS TRYING TO GET YOU TO HURT OTHERS, AND JOIN him,, in destruction of others, & follow him straight to hell." No we don't as much as we need to hear these words.
How about people hurling themselves in front of you,, pleading with you to stop, and listen,, to stop and cry out for Jesus to come,, to come into your very heart and soul,, save you from this demon of demons... clear the road,, lead you through this life, and on to Home? Have you? Not as many holler about God , as they do about the ball coming towards you, or the car,, something that can cause hurt and even death in this life,, no,, they do not holler at something as big as satan, something, someone who can not only cause hurt in this life, but take you on down to a burning inferno.. no ,, no sound,,
Well here it is, and read it good listen well , for I am hollering out as loud as I can,

LOOK OUT!,, For the devil is there,, right in your path, come join Jesus, and be saved by His grace and step right over satan forever!

From what I understand,, one person challenged the putting of a cross on a highway to show ones family or friend that has had a wreck and was killed at the place.. they do not want it,, as it is their right not to have to see these Cross' on public land.. as the court in that city so said.. the city decided to put cross' in all their yards so this person would have to see them. Now, these guys say, if we can fly our flag, then we can put up a cross on our own land,, and be for God, and beat these so called "people". I agree with my heart, all the way... why not be a real Christan?, A working Christian! Come on,, let's all join this Ministry on Face book,, do what they say by planting a cross, or cutting out a "print out" of the Face book picture, and putting it in the collection plate of your church.. It is time we all went forward with God, and Jesus, and quit setting on our back-sides... Let's all get "God Busy" and put the sign of Jesus on every drive way in America.. I ask all of you to go to Face book, bring up The Cross Ministry, get your dimensions of measurement, make and paint your cross, plant it, and plant the idea in others heads ,,but please go through face book to see and to spread the word,, Let's all get on board and support these two brothers to our utmost ability,,,, make the crop of crosses and

THE STEAM WHISTLE IS BLOWING!

Have you ever been at the launching of or the docking of an old steam boat,, the kind that ran the Mississippi, hauling cotton, corn, live stock, all kinds of cargo, even from the most prestigious of people to the common , looking for a fortune out west,, or the farmer , just trying to get home.. Yes , this was the ultimate of excitement, not only to ride ,but to hear that ole whistle bellowing up and down the Mississippi,, just floating history , to somewhere, from someone , and back... Wow, what an era.. all the mystery, the light side and the dark side of those boats!!!
One could stand on the bank,, listen as the steam whistle blows, the allllll aboard call,,, then the gang plank ,moving up and back some , then the big ole paddle wheel groaning against the muddy Mississippi ,as it moved this big steamboat back, and then out to the middle,, then the strain of the wheel changing direction, and the real big groan of grabbing that water and starting the journey forward,, with ease , unless they were going up-stream, then the ole boys down in the boiler room was having to pile on the coal... Yes , either up or down,, the journey of mystery on the Mississippi was on the way.... Now,, turn it around, and listen for the sound of that steam whistle ,, way off, coming down the big muddy,, and all starting toward the dock.. for no matter if you were expecting something, or anyone or not,, You still if at all able,, went to the bank ,, just to see the boat,, and all that was on it,, the people and the other cargo,, what stranger was getting off at your dock, and who else was waving and you waving back with just as much gusto as they were putting forth to have a touch with just anyone... yes that was a ride, a journey, on those old steam - boats of the bit ole "Muddy"..
Now I would like each of you to just imagine a trip with God,, to and fro,,, with a cargo of other Christians,, going on a trip of good and carrying the message of Jesus Christ,, waving to all you come in contact with, to come on aboard,, join Him,, follow the Savior,, or give a message to each "town" you dock at.. be a "Jesus Drummer",, sell the Jesus river,, the path of life to all you see,, walk the gang plank of His ship,, ride with Him,, how about it,, join Him and climb on the boat,, quick before the gang plank is pulled back,, yes before the boat has departed,, don't be left behind,, listen and respond to that sound of Him groaning against that sin,, (His dieing on the cross for us all) the saving power He is sending out, for all to hear and see, so come on!, quick! grab whole and climb aboard, as you hear the sound of that

STEAM WHISTLE ON THE GLORY BOUND RIVER BOAT!

YOUR RIDE TO HEAVEN!!!!

Lord, thank You for giving me the sign, the feeling to travel with You, and that You are the vessel of life, that is here and eternal,, may all climb aboard as the whistle blows. amen

Wednesday! Hello September! You have arrived on the "Hump Day" of the middle of our week here in the States.. We all welcome you , September , to our life, for we know you will only be here for 30 days.. such a short time, but knowing you will be replaced by another, we all thank God for sending another one of His days, His months, and the promise of another, and we will enjoy each, if only we accept and believe in Him!

LIVE!

There are some who are able to get up and scrabble around this great world of God's , but choose to set by a window, look out, and do nothing but dream. This is o.k., if that is all you want ... but if you will look on the Internet,, you will see the vast, and great world God has made,, and He made it for all of us to look at, walk on, taste of it.. not to just wish for... Maybe you can't go to some of these fantastic places.. but you can walk out on the ground in front of you..for this was made at the same time the others were made. Someone on the great mountains, down in these vast swamps, and valleys, may be looking at you , wishing just as you, I sure wish I lived there, it is so beautiful and great.. so enjoy what , where , and the environment you have ,,, right now.. for God made it , and God gave it..
If you want to see the rest of the world , up close, and don't have the finances, nor the time or way to travel to there,, then take out the future travel plan, that of accepting Jesus as your personal Savior.. and then as you travel on the road to Heaven, you can get ready to see all that you can imagine of this world and more... for when you get to Heaven,, you can look down, up, all around and see all your hearts' desire! Yes,, you can come from this life,, to that life , of everlasting and the want of nothing! Now, get off your backsides,, take a step,, enjoy what you have, and what
God has given you,, and don't look backward,, but look forward,, and do what God wants you to do until He calls you home,, and that is two things, accept His Son as your personal Savior, and after that , then to

LIVE!

Lord, give me the eyes, and the heart to enjoy every inch of Your world, and I pray that all who reads this can do the same, and to live,, really live.. amen
