THE VOICE
The voice is one of the most influential parts of our bodies. It keeps us alive by receiving food, water, and some input of air. Then it transmits carbon dioxide for the plants to live after using God's good clean air.... and it also builds and tears down house-holds... friendships, unions, states, counties, nations... yes it is one of the biggest builders, and destroyers of all creation, because it starts all works in some sort of way...
Now , how is this voice controlled?,,, by the hand of God, through our prayers,, and yes we can control any voice,, if we have enough faith... which we don't... as I can see as of now,,,and that includes me also. With the right prayers , the right amount of faith, we can control the voices which govern us, and we can also make them mute,,, all we need is the faith! Can we dig up that much faith? We must , if we want our nation to continue, and this world to stand.. we must get our shovels and dig deep,, spend multiple time on our knees praying, showing to God our faith, and asking for His hand is all the voices of this world....
Now , reflect on yourself,, just where do you stand while you are working your
VOICE, WITH HIM OR AGAINST HIM?
God, please control our voices , that we may speak of You and Your goodness, and nothing else . amen

JUST A STORY
FRIDAY! TGIF! I am sure glad to be up and drinking my coffee this morning! We were up until 3 a.m. working on my sugar,, I had gotten a shot , and it elevated my sugar, had to take an extra special med to get it to stop climbing and hold for a awhile,, then receded enough to go to bed, and this morning is down, not anywhere near normal, but down to manageable.. Have faith it will be before long,, oh yes , please all remember that today, March 30th is "Thank Your Doctor Day", and I sure do thank mine,, He has been there for me!
Prayer Request: Wanda Carraways Uncle Garland Mixon who has Heart Aneurysm

JUST A STORY?
When my Mother was sick and before she died,, she was worried more about the ones she was leaving than herself.. she told the doctor on her death bed,, make sure my children do not suffer! Also, she was worried about our youngest daughter Dana taking this very hard,( even thought she loved ALL her grandchildren very much) more than usual and it bothering her later in life.... they were close, for at the time ,, she was the youngest of all of her grandchildren,which numbered up to 17....
Well after her death, we were all setting in our living room with the exception of Dana, when Dana came into the room stating, "Hey you don't have to worry about Grandma,, she is doing great, for she came and told me she was and she was checking on me!",, and then rushed back to her room. Well , I quickly hushed everyone,, and said,, let it go, for you should have seen the look on that six year old face! After much discussion, no one was permitted to comment on it .. we just let it go... Well,, the very next day ,, she did it again,, this time saying "Grandma just came back again,, and you know the rest. We again,, just said,"great!", and looked at each other , but continued watching T.V. The third day, as we were setting there , you guessed it,, she came back into the room in a run and a slide,, stateing this message, "Daddy, Grandma just came,, talked to me and said she was glad I was doing good,, not to worry about her for she was just fine,, she said she had to go , ad she would see me later in Heaven.. to tell all of you, she was fine, missed all, but had to go, and would not be back, and I am o.k. now too!" She then left the room , and skipped down the hall.. singing! To this day, Dana can not remember this incident,,, at all...
Now, I have made my decision on this story,, you make yours ,, child's imagination, or Gods' granting a Grandmother a wish to make sure a grand-daughter was taken care of in acceptance of her death? Dana said after that,,, just like all the other grandchildren,, how much she missed her grandmother, but never to that incident... well?

Just felt like telling this story that had came back to me last night ,, felt compelled to re-tell...and let some decide on maybe some of their visits... think about it,, for He is alive, and He made all, so why not ?

Pray for this nation, Israel, and the world.. the forgiveness of our sins.. which are , if you will admit it, are so many. Just a prayer of thank you God would be good too... I believe this prayer request really is and should be

I MEAN IT !
MONDAY! Now it is Monday,, just how will you plan your week ahead, with or without? God!
Prayer Request: A young man I met at the window of the "Big Chic", whose name was Billy, and he told of his mother having "chemo" in the hospital Sunday , and as we talked he asked for prayer as we were in testimony to each other of God and our beliefs. Her name is Annie Kate Bailey.. please pray for her and for this young man, as He had taken the night off from his job just to go and be with his mother at the hospital..pray for Gods will.
MEAN IT!
Have you heard someone say,,, I will do this, or I will be there, or I will call you, and the other famous words of all,,, and "I mean it".. or I would not say it if I did not "Mean it"! How many times has someone said these words, "yes I accept the job,, (never show up), wait on me, I will be there(never show up), I will call you at such a time(never call)? I have had many, and to this day , I don't like it, and neither do you,, right? It leaves you very disappointed , and very non-trusting of that person.. and it is hard for them to regain that trust and care back,, and it only takes a second or two to lose what has been build up in one or another also... that "meant to,,, but just couldn't , and I should have called, but didn't,,!"
Too many "just didn't" coming from ones mouth, who should have thought of others first...but didn't! Now , put yourself in God's place! Yes , think about all said to Him ,,,, in earnest, in quick-nest , before thinking about the consequences of the statement , or the commitment.. THEN,, off to the same ole way,, even to the words of , "oh, I said that in church, or to God, or About Jesus, but I guess I just really need to think a little more about it, I guess I just don't mean it yet!! "
Well , I have just one statement left,,, When God said that Jesus died on the cross for you and for me, and if you will accept Him as your personal Savior,, that He will forgive you of your sins, and stand next to you on judgment day... what do you want to hear when you get there on "Judgment Day".....
OH, I DIDN'T REALLY MEAN IT?
Lord, let those who profess and confess to You, do what they say they will, and to have others in their heart in reality and to you as they make promises of I mean it,, amen

AS I REACH OUT!
SABBATH! CALLED SUNDAY,,, MOST OFTEN! Wow! I keep thinking,, that coffee in the morning can not get any better, BUT,, yes again this morning, God is sooo good to me, for as soon as I awake , off to the coffee pot,, for when you smell, if you are a coffee lover like me, the aroma just floats you to the pot like a magnet.. so what was your first gift of life when you awoke this morning, besides that first conscience breath of life you breathed in? Yes, He is so wonderful, and so loving..how can one not believe in Him?
Our lives only improve when we take chances, and the most diffcult risk we can take,,, is to be honest with ourselves!
AS I REACH TO YOU!
I hope for this to be short this morning and to the point.. We have arms to do many, many things, and we who are fortunate to have both,, and intact, are truly blessed. When I had my thumb cut, I could not imagine the things I did , that included this little piece of my hand,, it became bigger, rather that smaller..so never say "I can do without one or more part of my body, and function just as good."
You may function, but not as good as you can with what God gave you to as a whole, for He makes it possible for you to adapt... and I ask you this,, have you,, lost part of your body as you reach out to people now? Why do I ask this, for I don't see many people reaching out this day and time. Do you seem to have limp arms, when it is time to give a hug, are you almost afraid someone will think you are trying something a little off key? Well, most of this is in your doubtful mind or barrier put up by you.. and myself,, as we look at that other person , looking back at us,, we have our doubts,,then and there.. some are good ones to have ,,,for you can see who will hug and who will not...
But,,, you can reach just as far by adapting , by just gesturing with your hands! You take an arm or arms, it does not matter one or two.. point towards the Heavens,, and then adapt with your eyes, mouth, and tongue! Put a smile on your face, look that person in the eyes, and then speak of Jesus and His saving power, His redemption blood He shed, for your and their sins, and how to just ask Him and He will save them through His grace.. and as you talk to them,, then gesture up to the Heavens and watching as their eyes go with you,, you are giving them a hug , a hug of Jesus Christ in a different way than putting your arms around them physically!
Oh yes, first you must get out and visit ,,,that is the way to see more people and to testify, this is just not being done,,,, what, you don't believe me? Just look and ask others when they have received a visit from anyone , except when they are sick,,,, but if you will try this above ,you will not have to worry about that feeling of intrusion of a actual hug,, but you can feel that hug longer & bigger & better when you open your arms, your smile, & your tongue,, and
REACH OUT TO SOMEONE, JUST AS I REACH OUT TO YOU WITH WORDS THIS DAY!
Lord, give all the ability to adapt, and share You each chance they get, and never let an opportunity go by.amen

REMEMBERING GOD

I'LL FLY AWAY!
FRIDAY! TGIF- As you hit the floor with a smile and anticipation of the week-end only this day ahead,,, just remember the plans you made with Jesus, if you did, and if not , do it ,, for without His Father, and Him,, there would be "no week-end",,,thank about it , right before you jump for joy, just make sure who is jumping with you... might need them before this life is over! HUH?
Prayer Request: I ask for all to pray for our Nation, and for the State of Israel... for God to continue to bless us, and them, with His love, and I ask for you to pray your love,,, back to Him!
YES, I'LL FLY AWAY!
This is a dream of all man, to fly! So far, there has not been no man, nor no woman ,born to fly without some man-made fixtures upon their body... for feathers,, I have not seen any,,, yet! We still dream when we see the grand hawks, the great eagle, the little sparrows,,, the "just birds",,, and one of my favorite, the Hummingbird, yes we dream of soaring through the heavens,,, and dream is the only way,,, Not really!
What ? You say to me" there is a way to fly?", and I answer," yes ,and you ask,, with this life"... how?" Here is how,,,!
First ,you must believe in God, also His son, Jesus Christ. Second ,you must accept Jesus as your Savior.. giving Him your heart, and your soul, completely... with no holds...completely free of doubt , just pure love,,, and He will accept you in to His flock of sheep... saved by His love and the Fathers Grace... and under that coat are two wings,, and staying with Jesus makes these little wings, grow,, and when the time comes for you to go to meet the Father,, your wings are complete.... and then you will be able to open them wide, smile, and cry out loud,
YES! YES,,, I CAN FLY,,
YES,, BY AND BY,,, YOU WILL SAY,,,"WHEN I DIE, HALLELUJAH,,, I WILL FLY WAY! YES FLY AWAY, UP ,, UP!
BE WITH MY LIVING GOD, AND HIS SON , JESUS!"...

Yes ,, one day I will fly way,, no doubt... how about you, any doubt, if yes, then you need to be back on your knees to Jesus.. and ask with reality! This is a choice made by you, and only you!
Prayer Request: I ask for all to pray for our Nation, and for the State of Israel... for God to continue to bless us, and them, with His love, and I ask for you to pray your love,,, back to Him!
YES, I'LL FLY AWAY!
This is a dream of all man, to fly! So far, there has not been no man, nor no woman ,born to fly without some man-made fixtures upon their body... for feathers,, I have not seen any,,, yet! We still dream when we see the grand hawks, the great eagle, the little sparrows,,, the "just birds",,, and one of my favorite, the Hummingbird, yes we dream of soaring through the heavens,,, and dream is the only way,,, Not really!
What ? You say to me" there is a way to fly?", and I answer," yes ,and you ask,, with this life"... how?" Here is how,,,!
First ,you must believe in God, also His son, Jesus Christ. Second ,you must accept Jesus as your Savior.. giving Him your heart, and your soul, completely... with no holds...completely free of doubt , just pure love,,, and He will accept you in to His flock of sheep... saved by His love and the Fathers Grace... and under that coat are two wings,, and staying with Jesus makes these little wings, grow,, and when the time comes for you to go to meet the Father,, your wings are complete.... and then you will be able to open them wide, smile, and cry out loud,
YES! YES,,, I CAN FLY,,
YES,, BY AND BY,,, YOU WILL SAY,,,"WHEN I DIE, HALLELUJAH,,, I WILL FLY WAY! YES FLY AWAY, UP ,, UP!

SPRING BRINGS POLLEN! IS IT WORTH IT?
WEDNESDAY! HUMP DAY TO W/E! The day you have climbed so hard to get to,, the top of the middle of the week! Now as you wake, and go to work, or where-ever,, don't forget to use the "Jesus,, No Splinter Wax" for your board to slide down to the week-end .. it also "re-routes", your route! It takes you by the supply house of God,, there with Jesus, you can pick up all you will need for the slide, and for the coming week-end,, and after you have loaded up, then YOU AND JESUS, can finished this slide right on to , and through the week-end, now have a great slide you two!
SPRING BRINGS POLLEN,,, NOW TO DECIDE, IS IT WORTH IT,,, OR NOT?
During the winter, we long for the warmth and sunshine of a spring day,, and those short quick showers, that cleans the air , washes that pollen to the ground, and as I look at the swirls of yellow on the sidewalk, and even some on the dirt,, I see cars, and other things slowly turning back to yellow,, with pollen,,, but I just smile, and I think, wow, is God not wonderful,, there is the pollen, the food for the bumble-bees, and a few butterflies already , the coming of the Hummingbirds... all the other birds, and bugs,, grabbing, feeding, replanting His earth naturally,, , birds singing the cheerful sounds... the feeling of getting that natural vitamin D...yes, spring brings pollen, His food for all of these,,and yes we survive with this pollen also, for without the pollination of our plants, our fruit-trees, the honey, etc,, we would not live... it brings so much more than sneezes and coughs, it brings life... and that is His plan, for He is the one who made it , to sustain this earth and all that is in it,,, and folks it is still working , in spite of us... so to answer that question above again,
IS IT WORTH IT? MOST DEFINITELY IT IS! THANK YOU GOD!

IF YOU DON'T
TUESDAY! As you arise this great morning of another of Gods great days,, first shake the dust of satan from your heels, and make known to the world, that you walk with a mighty , mighty man, who has died , and has over-ridden death, and now lives and will live forever,, and He will walk beside you also, and to anyone else who will beckon for Him to join them ... so put up the arm, give out the wave, of come join us, yes,, Jesus, you, and I, we are on the road through life here, and on to the promise land,, come,,, come now, ,will you join our walk?
IF YOU DON'T
If you don't know Jesus, know Him as your personal Savior.. your promise from God , the Cross, a symbol ,,, the promise of the only way to Him and His throne in Heaven... please then , bow your head, close your eyes, for it only takes seconds to change from death to everlasting life. Now,, with head bowed, eyes closed,, ask Jesus to come into your heart, ask for your sins to be forgiven, and that you give HIM your soul and heart ..and you are His, and he is yours.. When this is done, I believe you have a place in Heaven, and that Jesus will stand beside you when your book of life is pulled and ready to read.. and when they open this book,, only His blood stain will appear, HIS SIGN, HIS SIGNATURE..HIS AUTHORITY OVER SIN..,,, He has already paid the price...
Yes, this is how I believe,, some may different, but the most important belief of all is of two things , God, (and that He is real, and alive, and He built this world, and this universe, it did not evolve..) and that Jesus was born to save this world, and only through Him and the belief of why He died on that Cross,and rose from the dead, and ascended to Heaven,,,and lives today,,, can you enter Heaven.. now for me ,I know, and now I pray that

NO ONE LEFT BEHIND!
SUNDAY! Good Morning to this great Gods' Day! Be glad of the good tidings of this day,, that you are free to live at your choice , and to worship Him, because of His love and grace... be then HAPPY, and be THANKFUL to HIM! O.K.?
Good decisions come from experiences and experiences often comes from bad decisions!
NO ONE LEFT BEHIND
I know you all have heard this one before,, they even adopted it for our schools. The government tired this on our children,, they just moved them on to the next grade,, they forgot to train them, it was just a political slogan to get votes, nothing about real truth, nor real improvement for the children.
Now , the elite U.S.forces who use this, is as serious as serious can be ,, on this,, "NO ONE LEFT BEHIND". They are the proud! If you ask one, he will tell you, it is something they believe in ,, to the death! They train, and retrain,,, no mistakes,, for if one is made ,, it can cost a life, completely dedicated to oneself towards each other...
How abut us? What are we dedicated to? When traveling down the road of life,, do we want to "leave anyone behind"? Are we concerned,, that someone is not keeping up,, do they have warmth, shelter, food,, the map,,all of what we have? Just what are we concerned with as we go forward? How about their spiritual well-being?
Have we stopped ,, and went back for our fellow man,,, our brothers and sisters,, who are walking with satan in a road of sin.. in need of the word and spirit of God.. are we back there delivering this message from God? Are we really good Christians on this road of life? Are we leaving some behind as we go down the road of life,, Do we profess to the ones who are walking with us ,, that we are Christians,, even as we hear the screaming of help from our fellow man,, left on the roadside,, behind us? Are we indeed turning around and reaching back, and giving a helping hand to these souls,, these who are in need of knowing God and the opportunity that we can give to accepting Him.. those with an extending outstretched hand ,, reaching for us as we walk on? Are we seriously Christians,, and trained by the word of Jesus?Can we claim this ? Are we real, or make-believe? Can we really say ,, yes , we are Christians,, and we have
NOT LEFT ANYONE, BEHIND?
God, I pray that we all carry our fellow persons,, the ones who are stumbling, who need Your word,, Your way,, that we reach out just as You did to us.. and leave no one behind on a road to death and sin.. amen

When I am on the road,, I do look back ,, and I am guilty also, of not going back ,, not reaching as I should ,,, but today,, I will not only look back, I will go back,, as long as I can... Today, again, I make a vow,, I am going to follow Jesus,,, I am for Him, even unto death,,are you,, will you turn a head? ATTITUDE AND GRATITUDE
SATURDAY! Finally got to the week-end! This day, when I was a young boy of about 10, was the most important day of any, for there was the hope that we were going to go to town,,(and maybe even to the picture show),, yes,, we did not get to go every Saturday,, nor other days either,, Now with all that God has given us, in transportation, and communication, we just take a drive to town, just for the pure pleasure of it, and then sometimes we don't, but it is because we are watching all that communication stuff with all those picture shows to watch ,, at home.. that He gave us.... Now , stop and and think! What have we given back to Him , for all the stuff He has given us? Well?
I think that the "thoughts for today" could be derived from the above ,,, yes , if we will just re-read it, and see if we can find it.. ,, maybe find the "have and give" of a better

It is not very far to get the supplies and the tools... they are close, not far away ,, your tools are in your tool box.. the building supplies will be furnished by God,, just go to the Cross, and the Master builder there, will show you, and the only hammer or saw you need is your Bible,, IT holds all the things needed for a day, a week-end , or even a life.. so go ahead and get started! WHAT WE ASK FOR
TUESDAY-TGED- Slide out of that bed, smile, grab Jesus by the hand, do a little toe tapping number with a humn,, and smile real big, and say to God, "Thank You for this great day, and my toe tapping dancer partner here with me..". Then off through the day with the two of you for a great time, and when you meet everyone,, smile real big, see if they took Him also,,, by their return smile.. for it will not be a smile wasted,, O.K.? Have a great day, made by God, just for you and me!
WHAT WE ASK FOR!
Have you ever thought about IF God gave everything we all asked for? Would this world be lop-sided or not? There would be more cars in driveways of bigger houses, not enough water to fill all the pools, and not enough places for all the homes on the beaches... and we would all be so much bigger with al the food.. and what about those poor waiters... no to worry, for they just asked for you to wait on them , my, my what a world of confusion, and of greed! You may say no, but yes you would, why? Because you are man, (don't worry ladies , you too are included).. and we started it off with greed and sin by the eating of the apple,, and folks , we have not gotten over that stomach ache yet!
Now, I ask for an honest answer,, is it not best for God to have put in a filter,,, for prayers? That , all prayers go through a "God Filter",,and it is programed to only send out "prayers to be answered that fits His plan.. and of forgiveness" ... then He acts according to His plan of our needs and wow , does He get it right... all fits into His world,,, for we are only travelers through it ... on our way,,, to all those requests we have been making .. called Heaven,, , if we have accepted Jesus,, if not,, we may be headed to another place of not so good things..things we have not requested, so be careful what you asked for,,,,,all in all it is in our best interests to

WHAT WE ASK FOR!
Have you ever thought about IF God gave everything we all asked for? Would this world be lop-sided or not? There would be more cars in driveways of bigger houses, not enough water to fill all the pools, and not enough places for all the homes on the beaches... and we would all be so much bigger with al the food.. and what about those poor waiters... no to worry, for they just asked for you to wait on them , my, my what a world of confusion, and of greed! You may say no, but yes you would, why? Because you are man, (don't worry ladies , you too are included).. and we started it off with greed and sin by the eating of the apple,, and folks , we have not gotten over that stomach ache yet!
Now, I ask for an honest answer,, is it not best for God to have put in a filter,,, for prayers? ESCALTOR TO HEAVEN
MONDAY- Waking up with Him, is so much better than waking up without Him. Do you know the difference? If you don't,,, then accept Him as your personal Savior, and no matter the time of that moment, you will re-awake to a whole new life at that instance, and then, you will feel the difference.. guaranteed!
ESCALATOR TO HEAVEN!
Quick little story of "glad you did accept Jesus as your personal Savior". There was this really tragic wreck,,, there was two cars involved,, the driver only occupant, was spared, no injuries at all. Now the other car , housed a father , a mother , and and two children,, none survived the wreck. People had gathered from all around,, for this family was well know.. all through the city, state and even up to the federal level... so some of the highest officials were visiting other relatives, and at the funeral, for they had one funeral for all four... and knowing that all there,,, was the remains of those four of one family. They had gone elsewhere, for the spirit lives, and the final trip had taken place... and all anyone could hear at the funeral was the talk of the goodness of all.. but not one could hear that final trip..
It goes something like this,,, we arrive at the scene of the souls making that final trip.. we can see and we can hear them all.. there on the escalator to Heaven, are first, the Mom & wife, tears in her eyes, as she is looking backwards , waving, the second is the son, doing the same, for he was only 8 years old.. crying, looking back and down, waving... third, the little girl, now just turned 6,, doing the same as Mom, and older brother... but uttering these words from her little mouth with tears running down her cheeks,,, ,, Daddy, oh Daddy, why are you going on that escalator down? Please, please ,, come with Mom, Brother , and me,, please! please! Daddy!!! ,,
PLEASE COME WITH US!!!!!, as the escalator that they are on,, continues going up, up farther and farther from her Dad.
He answers,, "Honey, I am so sorry,, I didn't accept your Jesus,,, I can not follow you,,, I must pay my dues, and go down, on into to that dark ,,you go on up into that light,, you will be o.k. but I am sorry, and I do love you, I just didn't love the right person, nor make the right choice... good-by my daughter ,, good by, with a hand up, tears running down his cheeks... !
Now, that you have read this story of fiction,, made up in my mind, is there anything that this day, you might want to turn from fiction in your life,, to a realistic foothold on that

TALKING TO HIM!
SUNDAY! Welcome to Gods day of rest! May you all enjoy it to the fullest with the gift of His love to you, and may you give back that love. while HE rests , and put a smile on His face with this act of love!

TALKING TO HIM!
Today, why don't you make it a day of just taking the Lord with you,, talking to him on a casual base, not a praying "so called", but regular conversation... Sure,, people may look at you somewhat like you need help, but just "smile " back at them with a little nod,, of yes, I agree, and I have that help already, IF you will just listen to what I am saying and who I am talking to,,,, before you judge! God will be listening, with a satisfaction of just having a talk, not just a request.. He loves to talk to us all,, that is the real reason for our tongue, is, talking to Him, and each other, but with love and just "plain talking",,, like you do when you are just setting around , have you got it yet? HEAVEN IS REAL!
SATURDAY- FOR THIS MORNING, I HAVE PICKED AN ARTICLE FROM BILLY GRAHAM. A young man with an incurable disease was reported to have said, “I don’t think I would be afraid to die if I knew what to expect after death.” Evidently this young man had not heard of what God has prepared for those who love Him.
The man had within him the fear of death. For the Christian there need be no fear. Christ has taken away the fear of death and has given hope.
Jesus said, “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go … I will come again and receive you to Myself” (John 14:2-3). And that place, according to the Apostle Paul, is a “far better” place. Paul wrote, “having a desire to depart and be with Christ, which is far better” (Philippians 1:23).
The grave is not the end. For those who don’t know Christ, death is a calamity—eternity in Hell. For the Christian, death holds a glorious hope—the hope of Heaven. But you ask, “What kind of place is Heaven, and how can I go there?”
First, Heaven is home. The Bible takes the word home, with all of its tender associations and with all of its sacred memories, applies it to the hereafter and tells us that Heaven is home.
Just before Christ went to the cross, He gathered His disciples in the upper room and talked about a home. He said: “In my Father’s house are many mansions” (John 14:2). When Jesus spoke of Heaven as “My Father’s house,” He was referring to it as home. The Father’s house is always home.
The Bible teaches that you have a soul. Your soul has certain attributes, such as conscience, memory, intelligence and consciousness. Your soul is the real “you.” Your body soon goes to the grave, but your soul lives on. The Bible teaches that the moment Christians die they go immediately into the presence of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:6-8). We go home to a place the Bible calls Heaven.
The body is the house in which the soul resides temporarily. The soul is never completely satisfied and happy here, because the soul is not home yet. The true home of the soul is with Christ.
Second, Heaven is a permanent home. One of the unfortunate facts about the houses people build for themselves is that they are not permanent. Houses do not last forever.
The Greek word translated mansion that Jesus refers to in John 14:2 does not mean an imposing house. The idea in the Greek is that of a home that is permanent. It is translated in the margin of the American Standard Version, “abiding place.” It comes from the same stem as the English word remain.
During Christ’s ministry on earth, He had no home. He once said, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head” (Matthew 8:20).
Those who for Christ’s sake had given up houses and lands and loved ones knew little of home life or home joys. It was as if Jesus had said to them: “We have no lasting home here on earth, but my Father’s house is a home where we will be together for all eternity.”
Amid all the changes that sooner or later will come to break up the earthly home, we have the promise of a home where Christ’s followers will remain forever.
The Bible teaches, “Here have we no continuing city, but we seek the one to come” (Hebrews 13:14). The Bible says, concerning Abraham, that “he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God” (Hebrews 11:10).
Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, “Thus we shall always be with the Lord.” Our permanent home is not here on earth. Our permanent home is Heaven. Sometimes when things do not go right down here, we get homesick for Heaven. Many times in the midst of the sin, suffering and sorrow of this life, there is a tug at our soul. That is homesickness coupled with anticipation.
You may be lying on a hospital bed today, you may be suffering from terrible disease or financial loss or bereavement, and there is a tug in your heart. You are longing for home. You are longing for Heaven.
Third, the Bible teaches that Heaven is a beautiful home. Almost all of us like to beautify our homes. There is something wrong with the home where there are no flowers in the yard and no pictures on the walls, where no effort at all has been put forth to make the home attractive.
Very few people have their homes as beautiful as they would like to have them, but the Bible teaches that Heaven will be a glorious and beautiful place. Heaven could not help but be so, because God is a God of beauty.
I have traveled all over America and in many parts of the world. I have never seen a place that I did not think had some charm and beauty. There is even something about a bleak desert or a bare mountaintop that has its charm. It seems that all of nature is beautiful, and only the disposition of mankind is ugly.
Nothing made by human hands has ever been so beautiful as moonlight on the water or moonlight on the snow. And the same heavenly hand that made trees and grass and flowers and snow and seas and hills and clouds and sky has made the Father’s house.
If, in a world cursed by sin, God has made so many beautiful things, how much more beautiful must be that home where there is no sin to mar His perfect handiwork!
The description of Heaven and the holy city given in Revelation 21 and 22 is beyond understanding. The Bible talks about gates of pearl, streets of gold, a river of life and a tree of life. It is a place so beautiful that when the Apostle John caught a glimpse of it, the only thing to which he could liken it was a young woman on the crowning day of her life: her wedding day. He said that the holy city was like “a bride adorned for her husband” (Revelation 21:2).
Fourth, the Bible teaches that Heaven will be a happy home. I know many beautiful homes that are not happy. They are homes made beautiful by everything that culture and wealth can do, yet there is something wrong, something lacking. They are homes that bring to mind the wise man’s words: “Better is a dry morsel with quietness, than a house full of feasting with strife” (Proverbs 17:1).
God’s house will be a happy home because there will be nothing in it to hinder happiness (Revelation 21:4).
This world has in it much happiness for those who know how to find it. Sooner or later, however, something interferes. No face is so perfect but that it has some blemish. Every rose has its thorn, every cup of sweet has its drop of gall.
But in the Father’s house there will be nothing to mar the happiness. Think of a place where there will be no sin, no sorrow, no quarrels, no misunderstandings, no hurt feelings, no pain, no sickness, no death!
The Father’s house will be a happy home because there will also be work to do. Certainly this is true in every well-ordered home on earth. Some people are so overworked that their greatest longing is for rest. The Bible verse that most appeals to them is, “There remains therefore a rest for the people of God” (Hebrews 4:9). But the time will come when they will be rested and will become weary of doing nothing. I can think of no more terrible fate than to be condemned to sit forever and ever in idleness.
John wrote in Revelation 22:3, “His servants shall serve him.” Each one of us will be given exactly the task that suits our powers, our tastes and our abilities. Whatever we do, the Bible says we shall serve Him.
And the Father’s house will be a happy home because friends will be there. Have you ever been to a strange place and had the joy of seeing a familiar face? Not one of us who enters the Father’s house will feel lonely or strange, for our friends will be there.
Many people write and ask, “Will we know each other in Heaven?” Certainly we will know each other in Heaven. On the Mount of Transfiguration, did not Elijah and Moses know each other? (Luke 9:28-33). And in the story that Jesus told about the rich man and Lazarus, did not the rich man, after death, recognize Lazarus and Abraham? (Luke 16:19-24).
If you are a Christian, you are going to see again those who have accepted Christ. In Heaven families and friends will be reunited.
God’s house will be a happy home because Christ will be there. He will be the center of Heaven. To Him all hearts will turn and upon Him all eyes will rest.
Once in a miserable attic there lived a widow and her son. Years before, she had married against her parents’ wishes and had gone with her husband to live in a strange land.
Her husband had proved to be irresponsible and unfaithful, and after a few years he died without having provided in any way for her and the child. It was with the utmost difficulty that she managed to secure the bare necessities.
The happiest times in the child’s life were those when the mother took him in her arms and told him about her father’s house in the old country. She told him of the grassy lawn, the noble trees, the wide porches, the lovely pictures and the delicious meals.
The child had never seen his grandfather’s home, but to him it was the most beautiful place in all the world. He longed for the time when he would go there to live.
One day the postman knocked at the door. It was quite an event. The mother recognized the handwriting on the letter he brought and with trembling fingers opened the envelope. There was a check and a slip of paper with just two words: “Come home.”
Some day a similar experience will come to all of us who know Christ. It may be when we are in the midst of our work. It may be after weeks or months of illness. Some day a hand will be laid upon our shoulder and this brief message will be given: “The Father says, ‘Come home.’”
All of us who know Christ personally are not afraid to die. Death is not the “grim reaper” to Christians. For us it is not the last great enemy. Death to the Christian is “going home.”
Perhaps you are not a Christian. You have never bent your will to the will of God. You have never accepted Christ as your Savior. You have never been born again. You have never been converted to Christ.
Some day you are going to die. To you, death will be a terrible, agonizing enemy. You will be banished from the presence of God into another place that Jesus called Hell.
Right now, at this moment, you can make your decision for Christ and start on the road that leads to Heaven!
Jesus said there are two roads. One is a broad road that leads to destruction. The other is a narrow road that leads to Heaven. You can receive Christ in a moment, renounce your sin, turn by faith to Him, and you can know with certainty and assurance that if you died this moment, you would go straight to Heaven

And the Father’s house will be a happy home because friends will be there. Have you ever been to a strange place and had the joy of seeing a familiar face? Not one of us who enters the Father’s house will feel lonely or strange, for our friends will be there.
Many people write and ask, “Will we know each other in Heaven?” Certainly we will know each other in Heaven. On the Mount of Transfiguration, did not Elijah and Moses know each other? (Luke 9:28-33). And in the story that Jesus told about the rich man and Lazarus, did not the rich man, after death, recognize Lazarus and Abraham? (Luke 16:19-24).
If you are a Christian, you are going to see again those who have accepted Christ. In Heaven families and friends will be reunited.
God’s house will be a happy home because Christ will be there. He will be the center of Heaven. To Him all hearts will turn and upon Him all eyes will rest.
Once in a miserable attic there lived a widow and her son. Years before, she had married against her parents’ wishes and had gone with her husband to live in a strange land.
Her husband had proved to be irresponsible and unfaithful, and after a few years he died without having provided in any way for her and the child. It was with the utmost difficulty that she managed to secure the bare necessities.
The happiest times in the child’s life were those when the mother took him in her arms and told him about her father’s house in the old country. She told him of the grassy lawn, the noble trees, the wide porches, the lovely pictures and the delicious meals.
The child had never seen his grandfather’s home, but to him it was the most beautiful place in all the world. He longed for the time when he would go there to live.
One day the postman knocked at the door. It was quite an event. The mother recognized the handwriting on the letter he brought and with trembling fingers opened the envelope. There was a check and a slip of paper with just two words: “Come home.”
Some day a similar experience will come to all of us who know Christ. It may be when we are in the midst of our work. It may be after weeks or months of illness. Some day a hand will be laid upon our shoulder and this brief message will be given: “The Father says, ‘Come home.’”
All of us who know Christ personally are not afraid to die. Death is not the “grim reaper” to Christians. For us it is not the last great enemy. Death to the Christian is “going home.”
Perhaps you are not a Christian. You have never bent your will to the will of God. You have never accepted Christ as your Savior. You have never been born again. You have never been converted to Christ.
Some day you are going to die. To you, death will be a terrible, agonizing enemy. You will be banished from the presence of God into another place that Jesus called Hell.
Right now, at this moment, you can make your decision for Christ and start on the road that leads to Heaven!
Jesus said there are two roads. One is a broad road that leads to destruction. The other is a narrow road that leads to Heaven. You can receive Christ in a moment, renounce your sin, turn by faith to Him, and you can know with certainty and assurance that if you died this moment, you would go straight to Heaven

GOD , REAL OR NOT!
FRIDAY! Good morning on this great God's day, now use it as if it is life itself,, for it is a gift of a day, that you will never see again, so use it wisely,, carefully, and give out a lot of love, forgiveness,,, and a great thanks to the Master who made and gave it to you,, our Almighty Living God!
GOD , REAL OR NOT?
How can anyone be an atheist with all the technology that we have today? If you have a brain, and that is debate-able on some,, ha,, sad, but true, but some say that about me..but back to now... Turn on the T.V. or what ever device you have ,, phone, text, etc... see the Sun Flares erupting, a million miles a minute.. traveling towards earth... with radiation that can knock out our communication devices ,,, kill our environment,, even us with enough of it...
but with faith,, I look at the sky, at night see the millions of stars, the great reflection of the full moon, then the sunrise, a fiery sunrise,, as the sky turns a fiery reddish orange... then the light of that same sun, lighting up this part of the world..as we circle it.... waking up nature,, singing of birds, warmth to the plants., the sound of man waking up, starting his thing or things,, and every day ,, this happens..over and over,, with no help from man!!!!
I have asked this before,,, and I will again, and again,, just how can there be atheists in this world,,, built so magnificent, and so beautiful.. and given so lovingly to man...by who?,,,, an amoeba..or a cave man?
No! For it can only be by His love and His grace that we have this wonderful world...made and given to us.. and yes , he made us!
YES! GOD IS REAL, AND IS ALIVE NOW, AND FOREVER,
HOW DARE YOU DOUBT IT!
God, thank You for being a just , loving , and forgiving God, we all love You, more that life itself.. amen

THURSDAY- As you start this day out, start it off with an insurance plan of having a great day! Call on agent Jesus Christ , He is with the Live Life Forever Insurance Company, and the signing up is simple, all you have to do is call Him, ask Him to be your agent against sin,, He will accept instantly, you are signed up for life... no worry as to what will happen to you, as long as you use the terms of His policy..... oh yes, the premiums are free! How simple of a plan, and what a way to start a day! RigHT?
Prayer Requests: Dian Travis, who was rushed to the hospital, yesterday, for an intestinal problem.. sent back home for waiting on results... pray all turns out good for her.
Kevin Gradoni, 17 year old young man with a five year old age span , in Md. who has been admitted to the hospital yesterday , and diagnosed esophageal cancer.. Pray for this young man, as I know God is with him and will care for what ever his future is.. pray for comfort and His hand continued upon Kevin.
Millie, who is still having pain with with that knee, and now has a neck brace for pain in her neck,,, I also ask all to pray real hard for Millie who is suffering very much from a rather personal problem,, God knows of it, so pray for Him to intervene o n this .
ASK WITH THE HEART
When you pray,, how do you pray? We all pray different.. some pray to be heard, some pray from the heart, some pray long, some pray short, some pray loud, some pray soft... Jesus said to repeat the Lords Prayer..and we should do this and also when we pray we should pray for His will,,, not ours,, even as hard as it is not to...It is o.k to pray for and ask for anything.. for He listens to all prayers,, but I believe we should end all prayers with a statement of asking all in His name and His will be done....
Just how do you feel about praying,, do you do it.. what do you do if you hear someone coming, do you stop, or do you continue and expect them to wait until you are through, that they understand to wait?
I know , go to your closet and pray,, but you can pray anywhere , anytime, and pray to Him,, what is on your mind, and do it to Him , don't holler about it for the World to hear! DO IT FROM YOU TO HIM!
DO IT FROM THE HEART..EVEN IF YOU DON'T NEED ANYTHING,, GIVE THANKS, FOR WHAT YOU HAVE!
LORD, forgive us this day of our sins, and I ask that you forgive those who have sinned against us, and I give thanks for all I have, for I give you the credit, and the glory for it all.. amen

He can handle all of them in a second , for He has no time element, only us... so go ahead and pray.. for He really does listen...so be careful for what you ask,,, think about it...o.k.?

DID YOU HEAR THE TRUMPET?
WEDNESDAY- Ole "hump day" for the workers.... each week , the climb to the top of the week,,, then downwards to the week-end... then on Monday, start all over... Well,, try this , just for once, go to work on Monday, with the anticipation of a great life,, that starts here,, and the high point from here on, is to concentrate on the slide(trip) from here, to "There"! Life is too short to run it week-end to week-end,,,, for there is life in between,,,,, and afterward also,, if you get the point,,(if it is kinda sharp)! This goes for all.. to concentrate on your plans also.. not the now, but the from here to "There" also!
DID YOU HEAR THE TRUMPET?
Well, if not then, He has not come,, but don't worry... it will be loud enough, for all to hear, for no ear will go that sound , unheard,,, the thing to prepare for is not the sound of the "trumpet",, but to prepare for the one who follows that sound, and be ready ,, for that will be the judgment.... so "trumpet" or no "trumpet",, I am asking this morning if you are prepared to go when the Master calls.. and if not, or if you know someone who is not..I urge to get ready, and to pass the word....not trying to drown your Wednesday, but just a word called ,,,TESTIFYING"... If you are going on a trip , do you not fill up your tank, check out your mode of travel, pack your clothes, plan the way,,, get prepared,, WELL?

AS GOOD A TIME , AS ANY!
TUESDAY! Built for you! Now take it in hand,,,and enjoy the heck out of it, for why would He have built it for you if not to enjoy? Well? Go ahead , start right now , with a big ole smile,, and maybe a little jump in the air,, maybe an inch or two?.. yea!

When is the right time to accept Jesus as your personal Savior? There is no right time,, it is the now time, if you have not accepted Him. Do this now,, for this is the time to close your eyes, bow your head, and ask Jesus to come into your heart, and save you from all sin... give Him your life, your soul,,, put satan out.. and really begin to live ,,,, now! So again, if you don not know Jesus as your Savior,, now is

IS THE DEVIL REAL?

IS THE DEVIL REAL?

Have you ever honestly stopped to consider just how much evil there is in the world- the famines, the injustices, the natural disasters, the accidents, the wars, the illnesses, and so forth? The total sum of evil and human misery is truly staggering.
And frankly, it takes more faith to believe it all happens by chance than to believe it happens because a powerful, evil spiritual being is behind it. Just as the creator bears witness to its Creator, so evil bears witness to its creator: satan. so don't think of him as a cute little figure with a pitchfork and a red suit: satan is ferocious and terrible, and his one goal is to destroy everything that is good. Jesus called satan "a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him:"(John 8:44)
But the Bible tells us something even more important about the devil: He is a defeated foe. When Jesus Christ died on the cross,, satan thought he had finally won, God's son had been destroyed! But three days later Christ rose from the dead- and death and hell and satan were defeated. And someday that victory will be complete, and satan will be bound forevermore(see Revelation 20:10)
Yes, satan is real-but so is Jesus Christ, and so is God's power to change our lives and give us hope for the future. And this hope can be yours, by giving your life to Jesus Christ today.
YES ,,,, THE DEVIL IS ALIVE, AND WORKING AS HARD AS HE CAN !
Lord, I pray today that all who reads this will continue to walk with Your Son, Jesus, and keep Your commandments,, and any who have not accepted Your Son as their personal savior ,,, will do so... and that ALL who reads this will go out and testify for You with the gusto that they do in all other tasks of their day. amen

JUST A FIELD WORKER!
SUNDAY! Good morning! I hope you are well and good! May you have one of the greatest days of your life today,,,,, and all because you decided to include God in all you do,, from thought to physical... I mean all you do,, not just the choicy,, but your all,,, For His Son DID! He gave His all.. so why can't you?
Prayer Requests: Ruth Bachman , who lost her husband , Gene yesterday.. Pray for her to be comforted by the arms of Jesus.
Continued prayer for Keith Dover, who has been diagnosed with a heart attack, congestive heart failure,, and will need a defibrillator. Pray that he will get this and it will correct his heart.
JUST A FIELD WORKER!
I close my eyes,, I remember the farm,, the planting, the hoeing of the tender shuts, as they sprouted up and grew,,, the picking of cotton,, gathering of corn, helping my Mom gather her garden,, and folks ,, she had a garden,, a very large one.. we were just a typical family. We were a family, as were a lot of those who were farmers,, and also those that brought the "field hands". In our area,, those "field hands", were us.... for we worked in our own fields,, and as we would work hard to finish our hoeing,, our picking,, we would then hire out to the BIG farmers,, to help in their fields.. they would pick everyone up early, before daylight, in a big truck,,, maybe four to five families at a time in the back of that old truck, in the dark, rolling down a dirt road,,with our lunches, that mom would fix,, no , not sandwiches, but biscuits,, and a jar of tea,, (which we would put in the nearest stream to keep cool)... and those biscuits, were better than any sandwich bread you could have ever found! We did this, as a family,, so we could have money to buy clothes, shoes... not video games,, or any other toys,, for we were as excited as all get out to meet the mailman,, see what we had from Sears,, well , that was where all our clothes and shoes came from.. Mom would draw our feet and Sears would send us our shoes.. and they fit.. try that at Walmart, Target or Pay-less,, and see if you get any shoes, for you won't even find anyone to help you anyway!...... Well, my topic of the day,, yes we were field workers, and we produced, we worked as a group,, as families.. lots of love, determination,, and one other thing we did, was share , worship God, even a blessing of that food ,, out under that shade tree, or the shade of a wagon parked in the field..those clothes we knew He would provide with that money we earned in the fields,, but yes we talked, we showed,, we worshiped our God, out in the public,,, in those fields,,, no shame, but proud to do it. our heads high,, our hearts pure, our faith unshaken,, for we knew He would provide,, yes provide all of us with our needs, even if only small doses of "things",, for He loved us , as much as we loved Him... and it showed as the young would run and play durning that lunch period..not play electronic games,,,and all of them were fit,,, and in good shape....these poor little field hand "youngins"!
Now, maybe what we need in this world,,, are more,, & larger quantities of those old
FIELD HANDS,,,, AND THEIR FAITH IN THEIR GOD ,,AND THEIR JESUS!
Lord, thank You for those lessons ,,, I now ask that You instill that faith, & that showing of examples of You then,,,,, into now..,,,, today,, amen

WHAT DAY IS PRAYER DAY?
SATURDAY! I hope all wake up safe this morning,,, these storms are raging across parts of the States,, and people are losing a lot ... but why, we don't know, oh yes , we know the meteorologists reason, but I am talking about God... We just have to have faith,,, that it is in His plan, & accept it, and be ready for what it brings, and pray for all to survive,,,, everyone can re-build houses, none can re-build lives, except one.

LIFE
FRIDAY-TGIF- Welcome to another of God's great days, given to you with the greatest of love ever,,,now , today, give some of that love back to Him,, and a big ole smile to all you meet... to show that love to them also... remember,, we have this world, by His love and His grace!
LIFE
Remember "life" is a gift from God! Yes, from before conception,, you are planned.. for His use... He gives you life, what you choose to do with it,, is a choice, of yours,,, so be very careful how you use it. What you do with it,, is how long you get to keep it! At conception, life is alive, and is real... birth is one of His miracles. You tell me how man can make a person, animals, birds, fish of the sea... all the "toes and fingers" are there working.. the blueprint is His, and it only works when He deems it,, not the president, the senators, the priests..the preachers,, the people,,, no ,,, God makes and works life,, just like He works this world.. all are His,,,, world, matter, all things, man, woman, baby, child.. yes, all are Gods.. and don't forget it!
HE IS LIFE!

AS I LOOK ....TO THE EAST!
THURSDAY- FIRST DAY OF MARCH-- How did you wake up? Like something is missing? Maybe you need to have a conversation with the Lord... that will turn your day around... and your heart and mind... try it, for it is surly good for the soul! Make God your biggest part of each day, and they all will change for the good, guaranteed!
Prayer Request: For Gene and Ruth Bachman, Gene is in serious health at home,, very, very shallow breathing yesterday... please pray for God's hand be in this home now...
For Judy Thonpsons' son-in-law, Keith Dunn, who has been taken to Huntsville , Al. hospital with his lungs full and he cannot breath.. pray for the doctors to diagnose, treat, and God's healing hand upon him.
Prayer of Thanks: Debbie Livingston, came through kidney surgery o.k. , hopefully she will come home today.
AS I LOOK TO THE EAST!
The way this world is doing , I more and more keep my eyes to the East. I watch T.V. , the news, I see our President apologize to our enemies of an accidental burning of their bible... but I do not see anyone apologizing for burning our flag, our Bibles, killing our soldiers... and I see candidates not on the real problems,, only those against each other.. turmoil of killing in our schools,, crime running rampant.. the world following the wrong countries,,, more and more against Israel and the USA.... do you see it?
We need to be on our knees,,, we need to be in serious prayer of forgiveness from our God,,, to preserve this world by His grace for our children, and our grand-children,, for He is our hope,,, in Him, our faith,, and we need to , again, seriously be talking to Him, and try to be an example of how He means for us to live, and act! How do you really feel,,, I am not a doomsday person... but I am looking at the world,, and the weather.. we were in February,, having trees, bud and bloom, flowers sprout up, and bloom...just some food of thought,,, look around, listen,, and as you pray... keep your eyes pointed,,,up and to the
EAST!
God, the time is yours, and only you know, and we are not to worry,, but you gave us signs to read,,,these signs are to tell us, to come to Jesus,, be prepared... not that when you are coming , and Lord I pray ,, that all are ready to meet you in any way they may .... amen
