WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?

WEDNESDAY! HUMP DAY!!!! Are you waking up with the thoughts of the W.E. already, even after a three day W.E. holiday? Well , and I will rub it in, I did when I was still working,,, and that is just human nature,, just as waking up, strolling through the start of the day,, just wandering, dreaming, doing the "wake up" thing,, and not opening our eyes with an excitement of thinking ,, "Oh God, another day, thank You, and please , let's spend it together"! Maybe we need to change "human nature" and do it as it was meant to be, in the beginning? With a walk , first thing,, through the "garden " with Him and a conversation with Him! Our thanks, our close-ness to Him, and then on through the garden of life, He has given us ,, each our own! Have a great day!!! YOU DO OR YOU DON'T! I have done this one before , but it needs repeating, every once in awhile,, kind of a reminder... You can believe in God, and Jesus as Your Savior.. your path to Heaven, the only way to Heaven.. or you don't have to believe...... Yes, it is YOUR choice,,, and God gave each of us that choice to make, and which one we choose, is the one we live with, not just here, but for eternity,, and eternity is FOREVER... do you get that word? Now, stop, think about your life, ,and your claim, do you believe, or do you not? and when I say,, do you believe.. stop right there ,, and think of what you mean by saying "yes I believe",,, for there is a difference in saying it,, and MEANING IT,, YOU EITHER REALLY DO,, OR YOU REALLY DON'T! God, I pray that all will stop, make the decision for You, with no reservations, shout it out,, and shout it from the heart,, with true faith, and true belief...amen John HIcks Believer,, and still praying for salvation every single day... for I am human, and I need it.. how about you? Will you say that, or are you one who will say , no once I have said it, it is set in stone? But remember ,, God will move mountains, and upturn stones,, in that day... so believe from the Heart!

PRESCRIPTION OF LIFE

THURSDAY! Get up, and go out, and be someones "SUN" , and shine on someone today,,, The Glory of God Almighty! PRESCRIPTION OF LIFE! If you are religiously sick,, which means , you are walking around without Jesus Christ, then you need to get a prescription from Dr. God,, MOA (maker of all). Yes, he made us from the start,, so He knows all the parts of our bodies, how they work, even up to the blinks of our eye lids.(did you ever think of that?), which makes sense , if you are walking around with a case of heavy laden sin,, then He is the one to to give you a prescription, to render this aliment. This Doctor,, this Living God,, will write out the prescription,, the cure,, Jesus Christ! With instructions to find Him? Go to prayer,,, that is the drug store of life... the instructions on the prescription reads,, bow ones head, close ones eyes,, take a deep breath, and call out to Him , even in a whisper, (for He can hear the feathers wind as it falls,) He will come quickly , the healing will be instantly. You will feel the relief,, the warmth, the cleaning of ones body,,through and through,, the flow of Him within as He drives out satan,, and puts a sign up on the road to hell,, that says,, closed forever! Yes , you can close that road,, erase satan , in one quick "accept me Jesus!". That is all it takes, and I guarantee this pill of "Christ" is not hard to swallow,, it goes down with ease of a cool drink of water on a hot day in the cotton patch, or on a asphalt road at noon in July! So , if you are down, heart is heavy,,body is slow and not responding to cheer, or happiness,, legs just want to continue to walk down that hot heavy road to hell,, then stop and get that cool drink of water, cool off those shoes,, lift that heart up, and make some cheer to all you meet.. go to God and get that (and He has already put His Son there in front of you , just for the taking),,,,,,,your PRESCRIPTION ,, FOR YOUR LIFE! God, thank You for Jesus, and the sacrifice You gave for us.. May we accept Him as our Savior to You , and accept Him with grace and humility.. amen John HIcks I have been to my Dr.God, and found that He is always there, just as the Son. He gave me my prescription, and on the bottom of it,, was written,,, " refill forever ,, and ever.. amen.." How about it? Have you been to the Doctor lately?

MEMORIAL DAY!

TUESDAY! As I open my eyes this great morning,, I am already reflecting on yesterday! We had our grand-daughters , Carley, and Anna, over for a few days, then we had Noah our little grandson,, and our daughter , Dana, and Husband, Todd over. We had a surprise cook-out,, as they had brought everything... we played ran, jumped rope,, we tired to rest, ha! We ate, hamburgers, and hot dogs, watermelon,, then all the kids climbed on to the back of my ole red pick up,, with adults hanging off the tail gate... (anyone remember this) , kids setting high on my tool box,, voices shouting even higher than the clouds,,,and down through the pasture we rode.. we stopped picked up their great Aunt Sue,,as they would holler "AUNT SUE, AUNT SUE" every-time we went by her house.., and out she came, climbed on the tailgate and off we went again! We hollered up and down the little valleys,maybe ten times around, and up the little hill,,, back to the house eat, played some more, and then as the sun was setting, Aunt Sue at home, Dana, Todd, little Noah, gone home ,,,we retired to our recliners , two little girls lying in the floor in the other room,, watching t.v. then all of a sudden ,, I had one , little Carley on my arm of my chair, and Libby had one, little Anna on her arm of her chair,,, little eyes closing so slowly,,, and holding on to us so tight,, yet so loving,,,and we noticed the smiles on their faces.. Anna goes to bed,, then as little Carley looked up to me as she wandered on to bed, she turned and came and gave me a big,half closed eyes, hug,,and said,, P-Papa,,I just love you! Now, folks ,,, that is what it is all about... I missed all my other children, right down and through my heart....but I sat gazing at the t.v. and my tired eyes closing also...and thinking,, WOW,,, so this is a Memorial Day, ,and men and women who gave their all for this day ,, this freedom ,, this life for me, and all others... I say another ,,,, a real big THANK YOU VETS.. FOR MY DAY,,, AND I THANK GOD FOR MY VETS...Have a great Tuesday, may God bless you a He has blessed me... I felt like God had shown me a great day, and with the closing of that little statement by that little angel...well ,,, I just had to share! TREASURE HUNT

Good Friday Morning,, Let's grab a friend,, and take a walk with God at our side and exercise both our body,,,, and our soul !!!! Wow,, walk,, let's run!!! Have a great day!!!!! TREASURE HUNT! Have you ever been on one? I believe we all have at one time or another. It is just something we all dream about.. a treasure of gold ,, jewels,, or money,, enough to buy the world,, yes ,,when we hunt,,let's do it right... Ha! Some real "hunters" find that treasure,, only to have to share it with the country of origin,, or waters they are in.. Now why is this? The "hunter" goes and digs it up out of the ocean, or land,, when the government is just sitting on it,, and then they get half or more?? Just another one of those questions of what is right or wrong. Well,, I know of one treasure hunt that you go on,, just for you and the whole world.. it is finding the greatest treasure of ones lifetime. There have been more on this hunt,,more looking for this treasure,, and millions and millions have found their treasure.. What is this treasure? It is the finding of Jesus Christ,, the Son of God.. Not only have they found Him,, but they have accepted Him as their Savior,, and they are sounding off to all they meet. If you have not been on this hunt,, or you are on the hunt,, and cannot find the way,, then grab the best "Treasure Map" ever printed.. the Bible,,, it will show you the way,, or ask a real Christian,, and they will show you the way.. then when you fine Jesus,, which is the easiest person to find,, then you have been,, and you will have found the "gold",,, the "money" ,,, the "jewels",, the "road paved with gold to Heaven",, the most important and most precious of all TREASURES!!!! Lord,, I thank You for giving us your Son,, for Your sacrifice of all sacrifices,, our way to You and Heaven for an eternity.. amen John HIcks Looking for that treasure? I have found it,, but I harvest the bounty,,and try to share it with all I come in contact with.. How about you? STANDING TALL!

THURSDAY! As you awoke this day,,, did you first say good morning to your Lord? or did you jut get up and start your day,,, alone? You can stop at any time, say hello, and come on with me today, by invitation! Now , have a great day, and may He bless you richly, in what ever it is that you may need! Prayer Requests: For Debbie Livingston, who has a kidney stone, and infection... please pray for her healing.. and for Jimmy who stands beside her, and continues his work with the Lord. For Perry Livingston, who is having a bad bout with different things, please pray that the Lord will heal him also, and he can get back to doing what he likes, the Lords wishes! Little Cullen ,who had to go back in have three more hours of heart surgery,, back in recovery.. pray for this little one. STANDING TALL, STILL! As I saw the news that day , of the President making that call to the basketball player that had come out of the closet,,, I still cringe at that thought of our President even considering that kind of an outreach,,just for the news media(and maybe his own belief)... and at the same time ,, no call to Cooper, who was just as famous as the other, and had just open his closet door to reveal his beliefs! Then as He, the President, was making that call,there was a young man who from the time of catching the news attention, also was getting some of the news media( a small amount) ,,,for he had just been released from the N.Y. Jets..and he was still,,, first standing tall for God,, his belief in Him.. and never faltering from him, win or lose! He always carried His Jesus' word below his eyes,, printed for all to see, this young Christian, very strong.. and again , standing tall for His Savior ,His Jesus, and not afraid of showing it,,even at an early age, when most young men would have been ta-zed to rubbing out those words , but no,, Tim Tebow, stood tall, and fast,, and held on,,, to his belief... He was done as wrong as any of the professionals in the USA,, and yet he smiled, and stated, no matter what,, he still had his faith, and his God... and he never got a call from that President,, to say, how sorry he was,,, this young man of faith standing tall for God, and yet our so called leader found the time to crawl to a phone and call one of satans winning of a soul... to talk to one who choose to go against this very God that this young man stood for... I today have chosen this subject again , for Tim Tebow is addressing our young people of this USA of the good, the greatness of our God, and His Son, Jesus, and that no matter what life throws at him, Tim, HE STANDS TALL, BY HIS JESUS' SIDE, AND SO WILL JESUS STAND BY HIS AND OUR SIDE,, FOREVER, AND EVER!!! God, thank you for this young man, and continue to bless him with all your might! , and our young people of this world... amen John HIcks If you stand tall for this today, let it be known with your convictions publicly,, do not hold back,,,, we are a time in our world, that is starting to resemble two places of the old testament.. LOOKING UP!

TUESDAY! Good Morning on this another of God's days! do you ever get tired of reading this from me? I never get tired of saying it as I awake,,,nor to others, so just hang in there,, for I will probably do it again, as quick as maybe tomorrow,,, It is always good to start your day of with a cheerful event , and talking to God first, is by far the most cheerful thing I can do! Next is doing what I believe He wants.. so plan your day, but plan along with Him at your side,,, just so you don't "slide" into a satan ditch somewhere, O.K.? Prayer Requests: Please all , ,pray for all those in Oklahoma , that was in those tornadoes yesterday... for little ones, and adults were lost there, property completely gone, so many homeless,,, with all gone,, and I put a plural on requests, and that means ,,, pray lots.. for God hears all, and the why to these storms, is His. Don't try to figure out why, just pray for relief to them all... This is a story of truth if we all really read and take to heart,, I have sent this one before,,,,but in this time of this world, maybe we need to take lessons again: Three stories,,, one solution! THE BUZZARD: If you put a buzzard in a pen that is 6 feet high, and is entirely open at the top, the bird , is spit of its ability to fly, will be an absolute prisoner. The reason is, that the buzzard always begins a flight from the ground with a run of 10 to 12 feet. Without space to run,, as is its habit,, it will not even attempt to fly, but will remain a prisoner for life in a small jail,, with no top. THE BAT: The ordinary bat that flies around at night, is a remarkable nimble creature in the air, buy cannot take off from a level place. If it is placed on the floor or flat ground, all it can do is shuffle about helplessly and no doubt, painfully, until it reaches some light elevation, from which it can throw itself into the air, at once , it takes off like a flash. THE BUMBLEBEE: A bumblebee, if dropped into an open tumbler, will be there until it dies, unless it is taken out. It never sees the means of escape at the top., but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides near the bottom.. It will seek a way where none exists,,, until it completely destroys itself. THE SOLUTION: In many ways, we are like the buzzard, the bat, and the bumblebee,, We struggle about with all our problems and frustrations, never realizing that all we have to do is,,, LOOK UP,,THAT IS THE ANSWER TO ALL AND THE SOLUTIONS TO ALL! God , thank You for being here for us,,,, and may all bend their necks back and look up,, realize it is you who made and saves us each day... please God be with those in Oklahoma, care for them with your loving hands, and give them relief and show them the way! amen John HIcks Looking up, and praying for all those in harms way! Please ,let's this Nation, stop and pray in force today for those people in those awful storms!

ONLY YOU CAN DO IT!

MONDAY! Good start of a new morning of a new week! My wish is that all will have the day, week, of their wish!,, and how do you start this wish? With a prayer to, and an invitation for God to join you in all you plan, and in all you do. Now, lets bow our heads and start this extraordinaire week! When fear knocks on your door,,,, send faith to answer it! Prayer Request: Paula Turners Aunt Teeny.. who fell and is in the hospital. ONLY YOU CAN DO IT! Yes, only you can make the decision to be a Christian,,, or not to be! It is your choice,, given to you, by God, whether you believe in Him or not, He gives each, a start of life, with no sin, at birth, and then at the age of accountability, He gives you the chance to make the decisions of life, and those decisions will have some sins in them, how many,,, that is up to you also... for we all sin, and come short,,, but the greatest thing He gives us all ,,, is Jesus Christ , His Son, who died for these sins... and that is when the biggest decision you will ever make comes in,,,, You either accept Him(Jesus) as your Savior,,, or you slide on through life with satan,,, and instead of gliding up... you fall down, down, into a pit of fire! Scary? Oh yes it is, unless you like burning,, and I have not found a sane person yet that likes it.. have you? This a thing that amazes me, why are all the people of this world not falling down on their knees , and calling out to Jesus? A decision like this can be made at any time , any place, but after death, it will have been made, and will not be changed! Now , make this decision now... for we are not promised tomorrow! ONLY YOU, AND ONLY YOU CAN MAKE THIS DECISION TO ACCEPT JESUS CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR! God, I ask that You give all a little more of a nudge to make the decision to Jesus,, and also give us all the words upon our tongues to also carry Your message to all we encounter. amen John HIcks I have accepted, I travel the path of Jesus,,,, and yes, He has to reach down, and back ,,,at times and grab me, drag me back up,, to keep me on that road,,, and why does He do it? For I had faith when I accepted Him,, of a road to Heaven, and that faith keeps me on that road,,, as above ,,,it is this faith that answers that door every time satan knocks... SUNDAY! It is a great and good God's Day! He is so great to all of us, and we , most of the time take life for granted, as speaking,,,but we should always know our Lord, is here , and with us,, and we should stop,,,,and say ,,, out loud to all to hear,, YEA,, HERE STANDS MY LORD BESIDE ME ,, DO YOU SEE, HIM,,, AND IF NOT, COME AND I WILL SHOW YOU HIM.. be His at all times, not a part timer! May all of you have a great day in the lord!!!! Prayer Answered: Yesterday, my family,, had a reunion of SAMUEL MAHLON HICKS, AND LILLA TRAYLOR HICKS, who spawned from them seven of us, and the three left here,,, celebrated with 63 of our relatives,,and was bless by God again, and again with love and His present there, ,, by invitation,, thank You God for a great reunion! KNOW WHEN TO HOLD THEM You have heard this one before,, played by and sung by Kenny Rogers. It has a great message if you read into it with an open mind, and that is the way we should approach God and life.. right? So as you go through today and all of your days.. do it with a pat hand... make your bet an all in ,, for the hand you hold is Jesus Christ , and as you call out to Him ,, then their is no gamble at all, it is a sure thing,, the pot(life) is yours,, you have just set up the biggest play of your life,, so as you pick up the cards of life,, just make sure you know what to bet on.. and when to play them,, and WHEN TO HOLD THEM.. Live with the faith of Jesus Christ,, make Him your Savior,, for at the end,,,, their will time enough to count the winnings!!!! HEAVENLY HOME

SATURDAY! Good morning to all... and yes, God is good,,, for He has given us a world,,, who else could do this? Is He not awesome? I think so, and I do sooo believe in Him! How about You? Prayer Request: For a safe trip, and a good trip to and back , for all those who will be attending our reunion this day... and a great day shared with each other, and God is invited as our number one guest! HEAVENLY HOME! When Jesus came to this world through birth fo a woman, He left his heavenly home, and said that the Son Of Man had no place to lay His head. Imagine, would you leave such a place to come and make a way for "us", go through a terrible death , just so you and I could be saved, and YES , have a route to go to that "HEAVENLY HOME" . Jesus did all of this out of LOVE FOR YOU AND I!!! We need to guard this LOVE from Jesus and put it in our heart, and spread it to all we come in contact with. It is our duty to God and His Son, to never put them behind, but in front of this life here,, and prepare to return back to our Heavenly Home, where Jesus went to prepare a place for us..... God, thank you for your Son, Jesus. Thank you for the Heavenly Home that you have made for us to live for an eternity. I ask for all of us to have the strength to spread your word, accept you, and forgive those who have sinned against us. GOD'S GARDEN

FRIDAY! TGIF-TGED! Here it is , the end to another perfect week,, even with the hardships, the worries, the disappointments,, the lost of love ones... for God has been here all the time, and He has been running this ship of life for each one of us,, so just be proud to be on His ship, and not on satans ship,, ,for satans will fall and burn,, ours will soar to the Heavens and sail,,, forever and ever,, for we have our life-vest on,, Jesus Christ , wrapped and held by the Son,, amen, right? Prayer Request: For Anna Christ, Pastor Mike and Becky's oldest daughter, who has a problem with her jaw, and pray that the doctors find the treatment that will heal this girl... and let's all pray that these parents will see the results of their sustained faith. GOD'S GARDEN! This is what I call the outside of my house, my yard,, for I love to work in it,,,, it is one of my passions, just ask my wife. This morning , as the sun came up, I was touched to grab my coffee, go with my wife to the carport,,, look out over the freshly mowed grass, the groomed shrubs,, the birds pecking here , there,, singing out a song of thanks and happiness, the scooting of them so close to us,,, not a bit afraid of us.. the sounds of the world waking up,,the sun breaking the new dawn, drawing in the breath of the morning cool air, exhaling so slowly... then raising my cup, and saying to God.... "Good morning my God,,, thank you for this moment, this sharing of your garden,,, the life you have chosen to give me, all the good, for you are so gracious to me, to let me be just one of your tenders of Your Garden, for you are my all"...and then without hesitation,, I looked over to my wife, and said " I love you also"..... and she always smiles, and I know she does not mind coming in second place.... to my,,,, and her God! Now, where is this leading? Go outside,, and look around,, even if you are in a penthouse,, a smog area,,, a little cloudy,, or a rain,,, stop!, look around!, and see!,, YES SEE!,,,,,, THAT YOU ARE ALSO,, SOMEWHERE IN GODS GREAT GARDEN,,, OF HIS WORLD! So do what I do ,,, bow my head, and give thanks, not wants this morning,,O.K.? God, thank You for letting me stroll through Your Garden,, Your World, amen John HIcks Loving my life,,, are you? GOD IS GOOD!

THURSDAY! Good morning to all, and a great request from me to God this morning is for you all to have a great and blessed day! Enjoy it , for it was made for you, and me! Prayer Requests: Debbie Livingston, who has kidney stones, and kidney infection. She is at Northside Hospital in Atlanta. Pray for her complete healing, and relief from all pain. For Tina Ballard, in MS. who suffered a heart attack, home now, and has a great battle ahead of her... please ask God to help Tina in this battle, so she can finally win it. For Janey, who lost her Dad.. pray for her understanding and for God to help her through all of her heart ache. Millie's friend , Ileen Jones, who was taken to the hospital from the doctors office this afternoon with an undiagnosed heart problem. Please be praying for her. GOD IS GOOD! Yes , he is! I know! He has came to my rescue several thousand times! He has forgiven me more than that! He has driven the devil from my heart , thousand of times also!(and I and you have to watch this "devil" , for he works to get right back in, and you have to ask God for help each time that ole devil slips in, to rid Him over and over, and have faith , that he will stay out) He has delivered me from my enemies,,, and given me friends instead,,, He has carried me on His back many, many times,, He has slept by my side, when I was sick of body, and of sinful mind, He never left me,,, then he healed me of my sickness, and forgave me of my sins... and most of all ,, He gave me life to start with, with an unconditional love.. and even gave me a plan for after death, to rise to Him again, and stay with Him forever, and ever! He has given me more riches than any King that ever lived,, He gave me Jesus, His Son, for my sins and victory over the grave....He guides my tongue,,,, a feat that takes a lot of doing, and often...and even thought I am not worthy of even mentioning His name, He calls out to me to talk to Him each and every day, not once , but many times a day...with love and affection , no hard feeling,,, for He is a just and loving God,, and yet a vengeance God of those who do not live by His word... He gave us this world, and continues to let us live in it, even thought we are trying our best to kill the very things He created for us,,, that is so good for us... Oh yes,,, MY GOD ,,,, IS A GOOD GOD! and I love Him with all my heart and soul, and you should too! God, thank You for my all,,, amen John HIcks How do you see God? WHAT WILLL GET YOU THERE?

WEDNESDAY! Yes, it is that ole day of planning ,,, better known as "Hump" day! I think a you plan that climb to that W/E,, you had better put Jesus in your plan, for without Him , as below, you will be just going with your thumb out,and really not going anywhere, so include Him in all your plans! There are all kinds of ways to get from here to there,,,,, by walking, running,,, car,,, train,,, bus,,,, plane,,, imagination (only it does not cost as much ,, but sometimes more enjoyable), the ways are numerous. Americans are so use to the good life,,, and if you look at some of the third world nations,,, you would believe what I am saying,,,but,,as we are use to this good life,, then we don't really think, to much of the cost to go places.. The Pope travels to all nations,,, & we hear of the many travels of our high officials, the President, and his family, our senators, as they travel the world for political reasons,and for enjoyment,, and then I hear of the Evangelists,, the Missionaries who travel for God,,, to spread the word of salvation and the saving power of God... and the latter two, I believe , will get a bigger place in the palace of Gods' Heaven,, but no matter where we travel,,, and no matter the carrier we take,,, it will not get you or me to Heaven,,, it will not forgive your sins,,, it will not give you eternal life,,, it can only take you from here to there physically,,, yes,,, only one can give you all of the above,,, forgiveness, fulfillment, carry you to eternal life,, to see God,,, and what and who will GET YOU FROM HERE TO THERE? JESUS,, THE SAVIOR! YOUR TAXI FROM HERE TO GOD! TUESDAY! Waking up with the Lord with-in your heart,, is being prepared in advance,,, just like going to bed with Him with-in your heart,, is being prepared in advance... and knowing that you have given Him your heart and soul in advance is what makes it "in advance",,,,,, like "master-card",, priceless! Now, think about the above and see if you can answer any of them with a yes,,, I did, and I have,,, and if you answer all three,,, you are prepared,, in advance!!!! FAITH! How much faith do you have? We are all practicing faith each day in our daily lives. Let's take driving,,, As you meet someone on a two lane road, what do you do when you meet them at 55 mph? Hey , that is 110 mph if they are doing the speed limit also! There is this little white line in the middle of the road,, and the law, and good sense says,"you drive on the right, oncoming traffic on the left". We all obey this law because we don't want to have a head on collision at 110 mph... just makes good sense , huh? and you have "faith" that the other drivers is going to do the same.... and if not , oh well, that is another story...but...think how many cars pass each other in one minute across these United States! Jesus said , we could move mountains with the faith of a grain of a mustard seed!,,,and I don't (as I have said before), see any mountains moving around,, have you? So, we may have more faith in our fellow man, than in our God, or at least practiced more... What would happen to our Nation, our World, if the faith of passing a car was practiced and shown each minute to God.. I believe we would see a difference,, don't you? Well, you have a nice drive today,,, and as your day goes ,,,, think about this and practice MORE FAITH IN GOD ,,, THAN WORLDLY THINGS! SUNDAY! Good morning! I hope all will have a great God's day! Include Him, and you will!Exclude Him, and you will have an illusion of one! Prayer Request: Please pray for all the adults of this world,,, that they will teach their siblings about God, and His word,, and of His son Jesus, and of their great love. A MOTHER A mother is something to love next to God, for she is exceptional, that she not only bears the child, but most of the time, she raises this child.... they , the mothers, have more love, understanding, patience , and faith of the human race.. your mother is there for you , when no one else is, and once gone,,, from this earth, is so missed,,,, and I cannnot tell you of that missed,, so why you still have your mother, place your arms around her, hug her as if there is no tomorrow, tell her you love her,,, and just how much...and that you cheerish her... and then tell her more often,,, than you have been doing... remember, SHE IS THE ONLY MOTHER YOU HAVE, AND WILL EVER HAVE! SATURDAY! Welcome to another of God's days! Waking up with God, and asking Him with you in all you do,,and then acting like He wants you to, is a real day... and not just a day! LOVE! Websters' definition of Love: a strong or passionate affection, and devotion,,, a feeling of deep affection,, for. The above is the meaning from man... and is correct as far as man understands.. but it is not all the meaning of the definition that comes from our God. God sent His Son , put Him to death on a Cross,, just for us,, no one else... then raised Him up , again just for us,,,so we could be forgiven of our sins,, for man is sinful....and to me that is the definition of true love that cannot be surpassed by anyone, or anything else in creation! When you say "I love you",,, you really mean it, and feel it deep down,, with a passion! But, still that love , as great as you mean it,,, is not as great as His! We receive this love from Him from birth, and even if we do not show it back,, He continues to love us...can you say that? No, we can't not hold that kind of love.... How do we practice real love? Accept Jesus as your personal Savior,, and ask Him to come into your heart, and then you too will show true love.. a love of loves... and this is a choice God gave you, and me,, and a choice we must make to continue to have OUR GODS LOVE ,, AFTER DEATH, AND INTO ETERNITY! FRIDAY-TGIF- As I awake and sit here with my coffee in hand, I realize , that as much a I complain, we still live in the greatest Nation of this world...we just need to change a few things, and keep improving, and having faith in God, to preserve her, and continue to bless her! Prayers Requests: Two friends of Millies, in Maryland,,, 1st, a friend that has had numerous cancers, and now has been diagnosed with it in his stomach, and is going into the hospital in the near future for an operation,, and 2nd , for Christine Howard, who has been rushed to the hospital for low sugar(down to 30),,, and they are trying to find out why. Brenda J's daddy, who was rushed to the hospital with pneumonia, and dehydration,, and remember her mom is in the hospital too with a head injury. Keith and Marlane Hollis, whose farm was on fire yesterday, and the buildings contained his business machines,,, and three buildings have burned. Please pray for this family and for rain in their region.. of New York, for they are in a drought. I AM SO , SO RICH! I am richer than all the millionaires, billionaires,,, all the Rockefeller's, Kennedy's, gambling casinos,,, yes I am today one of the ,, and I repeat one of the richest people on this planet...oil is of no bother to me, for I have more than those oil barons and gas barons could even guess of just how rich I am! Oh me! I am just wallowing in it!!!!! Now, before , (but I wish,) my driveway, my yard, my street, my town,, is flooded with so called friends, I will have to tell you of my wealth,,,, I am a child of God!!! Yes, a child of God,,,and He told me, that I am more precious than gold, silver , the most brilliant gems,,, more precious than any other thing on this earth... and since that is the case,, I am richer than any of the above,,,and of course it is by request also!!!! You too can be just as rich as I am,, if you request it, for you are already His, just to be with Him in the end, you will have to request the most precious of all , over you and I , and that is His son, Jesus Christ, and then you will be the richest here, and in eternity, & you will be able to walk on streets of gold, and folks ,,, this the only wealth that you can take with you, no matter how much money you have in all those banks, it is in the end, back to Him with just what you came into this world with,,,,You! THURSDAY! How's your morning starting? With a feeling of satisfaction upon waking ,, or some concern that just something is missing? Maybe, just maybe that "missing", is the missing of a smile, and a gentle "Good morning God,, thanks for being here". Yes, that missing, replaced, will make your day a lot better, right from the start! Prayer Request: Ask God to forgive us as a nation, and as a world, and to continue to give us the strength to fight satan, and all his workers......There are plenty of us out there Lord as You know, and we all need your little nudge to get our tongues wagging for you, and not just wag! So now, all pray today, and mean it! LOOK AT YOUR SIDE, AND FORWARD, NOT BACKWARD! The old saying, never look back , look forward. I agree with this saying, and I say , learn from the past, and strive to do your best in the future, for all we have,, is this instant, is the present,, to do our "thing". I hope the first item of doing our "thing" is having God first and talking to Him, and accepting His Son as your Savior. If you will do this, all else will fall in His plan. PRESCRIPTION

WEDNESDAY! Well , we are at the middle of our week, normally called "Hump Day',, "The Day of The Camel", no matter what you call it , you need to call on the Master of all days, first and foremost, and His name is God! Have a great day,, and plan the day with care, and love! PRESCRIPTION! Are you sick? Have you been sick at all ? Sure you have, and so have I. We all have gone to the doctor,, had him check us out.. make a diagnosis,, then he or she will usually give us a prescription to help heal what ails us. After we start taking it, and in a few days we are feeling better and then we are well , and ready for life again. How about your religious health? Is it well,, are you doing good, in testifying, being an example,, or are you limping around with a stiff tongue,, and a head held down,, with satans words coming out? If so,, then you are as sick as one can ever be,, for you are not only endanger of death, but eternal death... You need to call upon the great doctor,, the Lord God on High,, If you will visit with Him,, and let Him,, He will heal you,, and you don't have to wait for a day or two, nor a week. He will give you a prescription,, written in blood and wrote on a wooden cross,, it is His Son, Jesus Christ. When you fill this prescription, by just opening your mouth,, and your heart,, and give Jesus a holler, and ask Him to receive you , and be your personal Savior,, give Him your soul,, INSTANTLY,, you will feel the warmth and the healing of the heart and soul,, you will be healed to the utmost,, you have just received eternal life through the only path available.. Exciting? Yes, the most exciting thing you will ever have happen to you. So are you sick of satan and his ways to eternal damnation? Then go ahead ,, hit the knees,, open your mouth and call out to God and ask for your own personal PRESCRIPTION! of JESUS CHRIST,, TAKEN DAILY! TUESDAY! Having a great cup of java,,, getting ready to head to the workshop, and have a great day! How do I know that I am going to have a great day? Because I woke with God at my side,ask Him to accompany me through my day, and that I have surrendered my soul to His Son, Jesus, so my day is planned for goodness! How about yours, have you made any plans? YOUR CHOICE! Today, my thoughts of today is short,,, I say to all who reads this, "You must make a choice of one way or the other. The two choices, are God and satan,, and it is up to you to make it,,and then to live it....the making of the choice is easy... we all can say, yes we accept God, and the live it,,, is another complete journey,,, for it will have it's ups, and it's downs.. and what you must remember, is during both, ups and downs,, if you have made the choice of God, and you really believe, and have the faith, the downs will be met successfully, and the ups should be met with thanks also, just as you pull out of the downs..and you have that guarantee of everlasting life, victory over the grave...now with satan, it is just do as you want, and don't worry about anything,, for he doesn't either,,,and then when you die, you just burn, but never burn up! How horrible can that be,, the burning hurt,,, of an eternity?,,,That is just a horrible picture!" "Now make your choice , for you,,, and only you can make it!" Continued prayer for Brenda Jarriels Mom, who is still going through some tests after some trouble with bleeding of her brain. THE ORIGINAL! Now who would that be? Only one that is the same, day in, day out! Only one that is the same as yesterday, today, and will be tomorrow,, and for eternity! Never changing, always the same, and you can count on that statement, never changing, always the same...always there for you, for your asking,, there for me, as long as I ask,, there for all,, just by asking for Him to be yours,, within, and also on the outside by being vocal of your belief , and your love to Him and yes , just by asking! Now,,, where else can you get this? Nowhere! Not for eternitaly the same , from one day to the next day, and never, ever,, doing a wrong!!! Most of the times of this life, we take for granted , and as time goes on, we start giving thanks , more, because we are getting older!,, So start now, not later, for yourself, and don't wait until later in life, for there may not be a later in life! Now if if you are going out on the lake, it is better to wear a life-preserver, is it not? So wrap Jesus around you and ask Him in,, give Him yourself,, and then give God The Thanks for giving His Son, your Savior, your personal life-preserver , o.k.? Prayer Request: Brenda Jarriel's mother who was rushed to the hospital yesterday with her brain bleeding.. please pray for her recovery! For the Homecoming of the Yatesville Baptist Church , here in Yatesville, Ga. WHAT ARE WE DOING, PAYING THIS AMOUNT? When we pay an athlete an enormous amount of money, not a million per year , but million upon millions of dollar per year, and I am one who does not feel like this is worth the money... good money, yes but not that much,, for if something happens to you ,,, like a break-in, someone shots at you, or your family, someone steals your car.. or sets your house on fire, or your house just catches fire.. maybe you get sick, need a nurse,, someone to take care of you or your family, maybe they are in a nursing home, or how about those who are cold, and need shelter, and food,,, and then there are those who are in our armed forces, fighting daily.. well, just how much are they paid, per year, as they all strive to fight for you, and for me, and also raise their family,,, how many soldiers come home to foreclosure?,, our law enforcement officers also put their lives on the line each day they go on duty, and even off duty, the fireman who crawls into a burning building... a nurse who stays up an extra 10 hours , and then goes home and clothes her kids, and cooks the meals... well,,, just how much are they WORTH TO YOU WHEN YOU NEED THEM,, FOR YOU CAN'T JUST TURN THESE PEOPLE ON WITH A REMOTE, AND LISTEN TO "YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN" OVER AND OVER!! NO, THEY ARE ON DUTY ,,,,, 24/7,, NOW TELL YOUR CONGRESS, YOUR GOVERNORS, AND PRESIDENT? Lord, I ask for your blessings on those who are protecting us,and those who are nursing us, doctoring us,,, and for those who carry those heavy packs, to guide them and their feet.. and Lord I thank You for them. amen John HIcks Thanks to all of you out there in that above category!!!!

What has happened, my eyes have been open before, and I could see, here, there,and everywhere... but now my eyes are opened,,,, and I can hear, all that is said to me... and I can feel what is said to me,,, hey,,,, I CAN CLEARLY SEE, I CAN EVEN CLEARLY HEAR, AND I CAN ACTUALLY FEEL...LIKE NEVER BEFORE... What is going on?? Who is this I see,,, hear, and feel? OH!!!! IT IS THE VOICE OF JESUS CHRIST, AND HIS SAVING POWER, AND I HAVE JOINED HIM! HEY? NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

FRIDAY! TGIF-TGED! As I wake up this morning, I first ask God, forgive me of my sins,, then I ask for Him to forgive all of us of our sins.... Have you talked to Him today? Go, ahead , one thing God can do is wait, but we cannot! Think about that! NATIONAL PRAYER DAY! Yesterday,we were celebrating the "National Day of Prayer" in this nation, and I was very worried , again , this year of the turn-out, not counting the speakers, about 35 to 40 people! I know that there are the ones who do not have transportation, too sick to attend(for it is an out-doors event), have to work and cannot get off to come,,, then their are those who know, and don't prepare for that day,, of 30 minutes of that day.. for a time set aside by our own government to pray, and this government at our courthouse was present, as speakers and spectators,, along with some of our pastors ( out of 100's, only some were there)! We complain about the ten commandments in our government building, and to keep them,, we fight for one sex marriage, abortion, and we are pro life, and we fight for the freedom to worship as we please, lots died for this freedom,,, and we only give o, yes zero back,, and folks , I am outraged of the turn out here,, and I ask each of you that was able to go,,(and I do not put blame on anyone who was not able) just how many turned up at your courthouse on this , yesterdays NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER? For God to be with Lori on this day of burial of her husband Frank ,, and that God will touch Lori, and she will feel this touch! A TRUTH , HARD TO ABSORB, BUT TRUTH! This was on an article that I read,, and it is the truth, in our schools , and more and more places within out Nation... A mother asked this hard question,, God , where was You on this great and terrible killings in our schools??? Just where was you God? Gods' answer,,, " I AM NOT ALLOWED IN YOUR SCHOOLS ANYMORE!". Folks , this is not a joke, and not intended to be one! It is the truth, and as long as we keep Him at bay, and let the "rattlesnakes " of our society run free,,, we will have this type of things, not only in schools, but yes, on the streets, as this is already happening. Where does this stop? When WE ALL,, get on our knees, and pray for God to re-enter our lives, and our Nation.. and really say it, and really mean it, and REALLY LIVE IT, and this is the ultimate truth and answers of all our questions to God! Please pray for all the family For the President, & the News Anchors,,, that they might find their priority of running the Nation, and reporting news worth reporting, and not that of an athlete who came out of a closet... why not more headlines on an athlete of God's proclamation of being a Christian, being released from his sport whom he made better than living in a closet for he came out in high school, college, pros', and in life.. came out for Jesus,,, please pray for the right priorities! AGAIN , I STAND FOR THE WORD OF GOD! God created first MAN, then He created WOMAN, and the word written is that a man shall leave his mother, and his father and cleave to woman,,, and live as one flesh,, because as Adam said , she is of my flesh! God did not create two men, and two men walked the garden of Eden,, nor did He make two woman to walk in the garden of Eden.... but He made a man, then a woman, and they were the ones, Adam, and Eve ,, who God talked to... for they, at the beginning was the only two! There was no mention of pairing off in twos of the same sex... and Gods will is correct, no matter how you feel, He is number one, and will be when the meeting between you and Him occurs, and your only hope is Jesus..and that is the correct decision, and He will be beside you, and NOT WAITING FOR YOUR IN A CLOSET! Yes, I am tired of the priorities of this Nation, and it's lack of its' relation with God!
