SATURDAY! Week-end! Workers, you made it! For Two days , you are loose to do as you want, sleep late, kick around, or work yourself half crazy trying to get those things done, you can't while working! I do remember, and yes, retired, and I am rubbing it in, ,now may God bless each of you this day,, as I kick back , and have a sip of coffee!
Prayer Requests: Ray Knowles, who is back in the hospital, with a bladder stoppage... please pray that this problem sill clear up for Ray, He has suffered very, very much, and is a good Christian.. so pray for him and for Lori also who is still very sick.
For Brenda Js' D-I-L, in Bremen, Ga., who is having labor induced this morning, pray for a good and easy delivery, and all can celebrate this new gift from God!
Again , pray for those in those forest fires and in and close to those flames in Colorado and surrounding states, that God will take control with that disaster and send the help needed as He sees fit to send.
Also , pray for relief of the heat here and across the south-east, 110 to 115 degrees estimated for the next two days... watch yourselves southeasters, and watch your pets.
Amanda Newby, still not really good, her fever is down to 99, her blot clot is dissolving some, her colon is blocked, she is weak , but Wayne says in good spirits,, so keep praying for her,, and those doctors...
THOUGHTS FOR THIS DAY: I feel like we have enough to do besides continue to read a thought this morning, and that job is praying,,, so pray this day, and make it a prayer TOO God, to continue to have mercy upon all , and for His will to be done..for we know not why these things are happening to this country, but we can make a lot of guesses, and I say , we as a Nation are falling short of His glory, and that too many are waving their own flag, instead of the waving and talking the WORD of GOD! So pray from your heart.... a I now pray.....

FRIDAY! TGIF! TGED! JOB, WELL DONE!
THURSDAY- Hey, wake up, you sleepy heads! That is what I would like to imagine each one of us woke to this morning feeling and hearing, that of Jesus, shaking us, and saying just that! What a blessing it is to wake up and know that He is there beside us, smiling and actually waking us,,, for in my mind and heart, that is just exactly how I feel , right before I rush down the hallway to that great ole thing called "coffee"! YES,, Jesus and coffee,, doesn't get any better than that!
PRAYER REQUEST: For our special friend, Amanda Newby, who has another infection in addition to the one she was hospitalized for , that the doctors have not figured out exactly what it is or where. She was running 104 temp, now down to 102,, the Dr's. are saying , they are on the right track, and also they found a small blood clot(if there is such a thing, for a blood clot is a blood clot), behind her pacemaker, and have her on blood thinners for that. We need to pray for Amanda, and the doctors.. so please do so.
JOB, WELL DONE!
As we travel and work through this life, most of us, are looking at others for a sign of , "O.K., you are doing a good job,,, or yes, you are well liked, or you are a good person"! Yes , we look for that approval ,,, and when we get it ,,, we walk off, smiling, and feeling really good about ourselves!
BUT, if we are not real children of God, then that smile will be short in keeping, and we will just be back and looking for more approval ,,from someone,,, anybody will do..for we are humans.. and without our Lord, we are just that , "humans", traveling along lost, looking for that something, and that something is Jesus,, and that thing we are trying to shake, is satan.. so look not to others for approval, but seek out the Lord,, for God is the only one that counts on all approvals....
I look up , and give thanks, to my Jesus for all I have, in all I do, I give Him the credit, and the glory for it,and what do I get back,, His approval, a stamp of red , of job well done, in His own blood, and it is in the shape of a cross! Now, just who do you look to for your
APPROVALS?
Lord, I pray that all will seek You out for their approvals of their life here, and that,, that life is for you in all they do and they get on their knees, and give thanks to YOU, for it all..amen

Do you agree?,, for folks, we are blessed beyond our "deserving"..trust me, we are! LOOKING TO THE EAST!
WEDNESDAY! Welcome to this day! I hope you have a great, and safe day. Just remember as you travel through it, you remember who not only gave it to you, but who made it for you also. Of how you use it, He also gave you that choice,, so make Him happy as He has made you, just by giving this day to you, so make it a pleasure for Him to watch you travel through it!
PRAYER REQUEST: Amanda Newby, who has been admitted to the hospital in Macon yesterday. She is suffering , again, from pancreas and colon problems. Pray for her recovery, and her return home.
OUT OF THE EAST!
That day is coming, when? No one knows but God, and only God, BUT , He gave us things to watch for, and I say, from where I sit, I see them, and one of them is Financial breakdown, and another one I see is more and more weather changes,, not counting the false prophets arising, and thousands are following every word they speak,,
Folks , I am not a prophet, yet I can read, and I can see and hear.. and I hear angels warming up on their trumpets for the great entrance of Jesus.... do you hear anything, or are you just setting back and saying the same old words ,, nah ,,, He would not do this...if you are , I can only say one thing, stop , repent, and keep your eyes focused to the
EAST!
God, I believe in You, and I believe in every word you have given us, and my prayer is, that all will repent, and believe before... , and that eyes will be opened to see the times you send. amen

A CRY OUT!
TUESDAY! Waking up without Jesus is something I cannot envision,, ! And living without Him, and my Heavenly Father, is something else I cannot envision... and this country being Christian, is in my vision of doing ,one cross at a time, this is called,, also witnessing,, and today I will pray, again, that all are waking up with Him in their heart and soul, and doing this ,,, "testifying" by tongue, and voice to where ever they decide to go, and to whom-ever they may talk to , also..Have a great God's Day,, a gift unwrapped,, as to the way you decide to untie the ribbon of this gift of a day,, is up to you!
Prayer Request- for that man who requested "a prayer for him today, for he is going to have a really "tough day"... let's pray that God will stand beside this man, for he has requested this of us, and a request to God,, so let's echo his cry,, "God grant this man his request , of You, beside him, and to care for him"..!
A CRY OF HELP!
As in the prayer request today, all of us need to realize that we do need God in our lives,,
and that we need to ask "before",, that need is here. We cannot live without God in our hearts,, our souls given to Him, through Jesus Christ! Yes, we may talk, and we may walk around like we are a living being,, but if we have not accepted Jesus within our hearts, and given our soul to Him,, then, as the movies show, "we are the walking,,, dead", for again , without Jesus , we are dead, here and for an eternity.. so put out this cry of help , now, and before, you are in the down-fall !
There is no shame is calling out to God, and to your fellow man,, the call of help is here, only if you will just ask,,, so don't hurt, or cry, alone, we are all here,and God is always standing by you , waiting for that word, ready to help , hold your hand, hug you, whatever it takes, so if you need ,,, then

BREAKING THE LAW!
MONDAY! OH! That aroma of coffee! At the time of waking up in the morning , early, early, going to the kitchen, by way of the aroma of the coffee brewing , is being rich to a morning coffee-aholic,, like ,oh , thank You Lord for this wake up jolt! Why don't we just stay this excited , all through the day? As humans, it is just one thing at a time, then move on, BUT with God, it is just one thing,, all the time.. and that is taking care of us,, full time job, and who makes His coffee? We do, by abiding by His law, then He gets that jolt of a great feeling, of love from us,, to Him! So do it,, abide!
BREAKING THE LAW!
As above, God loves those who abide by His law.. and waits on those who don't, just waiting on them rushing into not only His arms, but Jesus' arms, first, then once that is done, you are in His arms... but do we keep those laws? No, we are all sinners,, and must come to Him by the way of the Cross.. there is no other way!
We may run 80 to 90 MPH down the road , going to town, maybe we make it without a ticket, but the day will come when a patrolman will be setting , as you pass, and then it happens, accountability of breaking the law! The same is with God. You may go speeding through life, fast and furious, be the center of attraction,, not watching the path to where one goes,, just the attention of self satisfaction, & well, one day,, that policeman of life will be setting,, waiting , and the accountability of this life, by the court of courts,, JUDGMENT of our creator, the one some are going to say, well we didn't evolve...but it is too late, for you stand alone!
Don't, do two things, break His law, and stand alone! Both are something you can do, yes do yourself,,, how?
1. Simple, don't break His law,,,
2. Another simple, accept Jesus Christ, publicly, and ask His forgiveness of all your sins,, then you have someone standing beside you holding your hand at Judgment, who takes care of the number ones that you didn't!
Understand The cost? A burning hell,,,, if
OU BREAK HIS LAW, AND STAND ALONE IN JUDGMENT!
God, I ask that all will come to You, through Jesus, before the time of accountability comes, amen

EVOLVE
SUNDAY! Start your day off with a really great big ole, "Thank You Lord For This World",,for today He rested, after six days of building our world, and when you say this , say it to Him, with pride, of really believing in what you are saying!
WE DID NOT EVOLVE!
I believe that "MAN" was created by God, and only by God,and I need no other to tell me different,, What is your opinion?
Evolve: develop or change gradually, developed by evolutionary process.
I hear this word more and more , the want to teach all our children, tjhat they evolved , and was not made by our creator, our Living God.... and I ask again,, look around all who profess in this kind of thinking,, and make a bird, a tree, grass, green and soft, the air to breath, a cloud floating the sky,,, a sky,,, a flower in full bloom and such beauty,, the forming and birthing of a baby,,, can you or any man do the above, NO, for YES, God created it all,,,made all to have as is today, not evolution , but progress, with God's hand upon the throttle,, for the throttle that man has held without God, has been a disaster... oh yes, for I believe , only what He has planned will eventually come to pass, and pray that all will realize this... and look,, the "false ones" are already appearing, and there are already millions of followers... and right here in this nation,, but I sill believe in these things, and only in these things,,,,,,

EXERCISE
SATURDAY! Waking up is hard to do! Maybe you don't remember that song,, but it is true,,,when you open your eyes, the biggest urge,,, is to turn over and go back to sleep..until you get older, like my age, you revert back to your childhood, for you want to go ahead get up, and see what the Lord has in store for you this day,, not dread the day,,, but as a kid, you just got excited,and wanted to get up for the adventure of the day,, well, older is kinda the same,,,,Ha! God is good, for as you get older, you enjoy life as you did as a kid,, , as it was meant to be! To be enjoyed!
A joy, to yourself, and to others as well, so share this day with all around you ! HOW? With a smile, and a friendly wave, and a big ole ,,,"Thank You God for this day, that You gave me!"!
God bless each of you this great day!
EXERCISE!
All I hear on T.V. is programs of exercise, diet, the correct foods to eat.. not to eat.. where to go, where not to go. everyone has the "gimmick" of everything! My parents were very fortunate to live long lives.. and they ate mostly what they wanted, what they were raised on, exercised by hard work daily, rested at night, did not work out,, they were too tired,, didn't go anywhere,, just content listening to the radio, some good slow music, or watch a western or "live" "sit -com", on T.V. and by 8 to 9 in the winter, and 9 to 10 in the summer , was in the bed!
Only to rise early, and start the day off, eating a good healthy breakfast (of all of the today's wrong foods to eat, but they did anyway,) and they always did start it off with "Thanks To Their God"...rising to work, and thankful to have work, no matter where it was, farm, factory office, hospital, but work was not just a job, it was part of them, part of just who they were...
Now, they had a good life, they had no regrets,, they loved their family, their homes, but they loved their God first and foremost, and each one had so called callouses on their knees from bending down, to let Him know of their love, and their appreciating of all they had,,, rather than sit on their back-sides, waiting for the government to take care of all their needs, and complaining, they earned it by hard work,, , and folks , that was the biggest and the best of all their

EXERCISE!
All I hear on T.V. is programs of exercise, diet, the correct foods to eat.. not to eat.. where to go, where not to go. everyone has the "gimmick" of everything! My parents were very fortunate to live long lives.. and they ate mostly what they wanted, what they were raised on, exercised by hard work daily, rested at night, did not work out,, they were too tired,, didn't go anywhere,, just content listening to the radio, some good slow music, or watch a western or "live" "sit -com", on T.V. and by 8 to 9 in the winter, and 9 to 10 in the summer , was in the bed!
Only to rise early, and start the day off, eating a good healthy breakfast (of all of the today's wrong foods to eat, but they did anyway,) and they always did start it off with "Thanks To Their God"...rising to work, and thankful to have work, no matter where it was, farm, factory office, hospital, but work was not just a job, it was part of them, part of just who they were...
Now, they had a good life, they had no regrets,, they loved their family, their homes, but they loved their God first and foremost, and each one had so called callouses on their knees from bending down, to let Him know of their love, and their appreciating of all they had,,, rather than sit on their back-sides, waiting for the government to take care of all their needs, and complaining, they earned it by hard work,, , and folks , that was the biggest and the best of all their

A CHRISTAIN?
FRIDAY! TGIF! Wake up with the feeling of love,, for it is right next to you , ready to walk through this day, and all the days of the rest of your life, with you, if you will just open those eyes, and say these words, "Good Morning, come into my heart, I give you my soul, travel with me this day, and all the days of my life! A SHEEP OR A GOAT!
THURSDAY- I awoke just a little later this morning than most... and I amber-ed to the kitchen, I found my coffee was already hissing,and boiling through the coffee maker,,(my wife had beat me up this day,and had it already going) and the aroma was , to me,, soooo mouth-watering.. but I had to wait, for I had other things to do first, before I could taste the goodness of that aroma, taking my blood sugar, my vitamins, and my one medication of the morning, something I had to do first... but I did, then the first cup,,completion,,, delight!!! Then I thought of my Lord,, the law that He gave us, the direction to go, before we could savor His "coffee" to us, what we should do first, by glorifying Him, first, then savoring our own desires,, we must do what is necessary,,, first for Him, then us! We must wait and travel the path to savor now , and later in eternity.. and to think , a cup of coffee made me think of these things,, is He not in all we do, and all we think, if we will just listen? How was your coffee, orange juice, or what-ever you woke up to... did you hear anything?
This morning,, I want to share with you these thoughts from Ruth Graham,, & ask, as you read , think of the above also,, the gift of hearing, and the gift of receiving Him,, and see if they both,,, together, fit into your life...
Sheep and Goats by Ruth Bell Graham
Those who have affected my life most deeply for good have seldom, if ever, been aware of the fact. On the other hand, people who think themselves a blessing seldom are.
Jesus told us in Matthew 25 that at the final judgment, He will separate the people one from another, as a shepherd would divide sheep and goats, sending the sheep to the right and the goats to the left.
“Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance,” He will say to the sheep. “For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, … I was a stranger and you invited me in, … I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me” (Matthew 25:34-36, NIV).
But to the goats He will say the opposite, commanding, “Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels” (Matthew 25:41). The goats will have ignored His every need, which, He explained, are the needs of the least of His brethren.
Those who minister to His needs are as unaware of their goodness and kindness as those who are indifferent are unaware of their indifference.
Where do you stand?
Lord, Thank You for giving us the mind to use to bring you,,, before us at the times you desire for us to receive a message, and that when you send this message, all who need,,, will hear. amen

HEADS BOWED,, IN SINCERITY!
WEDNESDAY! HUMP DAY! Well, today you will climb to the top of the weekly "hump", and probably are already planning the W/E, even before this day! Please, do me a favor,, don't rush the weeks by so fast,, you are missing some of the greatest moments of your life! Just take it a day at a time,, the w/e's will turn up every five days,, so plan your daily life, and plan it with the Almighty, for He intended it this way,,,for a day at a time! Really, He did!
HEADS BOWED,,, IN SINCERITY!
I ask this day, the First day of the rest of your life,, that you take the time to stop, bow your head, talk to your God. Thank Him for your being,,His love, His faith in us, that we will make these type choices, of loving Him more than our own lives,, as He does us. May you pray to Him with all thy might, and that you do it now, not later in the day, the night, the bedtime, the meal, but now! If we all do this, we might find our lives ,,, a lot better and more rich,,, in real living of the heart,, than we experience now!

WHY, US, WHY THEM?
TUESDAY! Wake up to another of God's great days,, no matter the weather, it is all from Him, so stand tall and enjoy His creations! God Bless you all!
Prayer Request: That God will show mercy on Frank and Lori whom we have prayed for ,,please God be merciful, and take care of these two, who have suffered so very much, and all those connected with these who have witnessed this suffering..give them some understanding of your why..
Pray for the mother of Brenda J.'s, Mark, who is entering the Hospital to try to diagnose why she has so much pain, and fever. Pray the doctors will find the reasons, and the treatment.
Pray for all those who are fighting those awful fires in the nine states, that is rushing forward with a break neck speed, consuming all in its' path,and all those who are losing their everything, (materials,). Pray that God will show mercy, and send the rain!
WHY US OR WHY THEM, GOD?
We all go through times in our lives, when we lose someone in death, that are really sick, in pain, and seems like no progress,,and when there is, then a back fall to more sickness, and pain... someone just leaves us, and turns their back to us , for no reason..the hurt to us is so bad , for we do know the whys,, we just hurt, and cry out, why God , Why God?
I have asked this also, and the answer lies with-in each of us , for it ,in my opinion, different reasons, or plans from God, for the why,, for it is a plan, and there is no hurt, , and will never be as much suffering and hurt, as Jesus on that Cross.. even when we see it first hand, feel it first hand,, ache for relief, but we need to thank of those sick, whose hurt is real, and make our heart hard against satan for placing this on us , pray to God for our understanding, and to not only help those who are sick or for us who have lost someone, to give us strength to get through it,,,and when then we all get to Heaven, we will see the overall picture.. trust me, I do believe,that,,, and I do believe that nothing happens,, that God has not planned, and we must have the faith,, for He knows what He is doing, believe me,, He made us, He surely can take us , or do what is needed of us in His plan.
This is hard to give explanations to, but the one thing we must do, and that is keep the faith of our God, always with-in our hearts, and our minds,,, as we ask these crucial questions,
WHY US, WHY THEM ?
God, I ask that You give the answers of what-ever one needs to know,, and what we don't know nor understand, I pray for faith to get us all through it, amen

He will never lead you astray, but will lead you to Him.....make that choice,, Him , over all else, and He will be there for you.. I guarantee it! AS I READ AND LISTEN
MONDAY- Waking to the stars, and knowing that the sunshine will rise from the east,, and this knowing,,, is called faith! I hope and pray that everyone know that this rising of the moon, the stars shinning, and then the rising and setting of the sun, is all ,,,, in the hands of God,, Have a great Monday, and give Him the thanks for this day!

As I read and listen to the radio, T.V., and read face-book,, I get very disturbed at some of the news,, how our country, our way of living is waiting on just the outcome of a election in another country,, read some of the trash on face-book, the terrible language, the awful cartoons,, and then rejoice of the things I see that celebrate our God,,,
This shows that we all are of a different world, in this one free country,,and folks that is freedom, whether we like it or not.. all we can do now is pray, for I see more of this satan junk from a lot of the youth,, or young adults on face-book, some from older,, just maybe their fathers needed or still need to have a talk with them, as mine would have had,, more than a talk,,,and then anyone could listen to me, for if I had nothing to say good, I would surely not say anything!
I do see some of the older young adults--- to the "old adults" ,,,more of God, family, things that really are good to see and read,,, the cartoons, the gestures, the language, are good to read,, oh well, I know , there is the off switch, and my call as to leave it on, or turn it off!

HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
SUNDAY! HAPPY FATHERS DAY TO ALL THOSE FATHERS,, HERE AND IN HEAVEN!
I hope all of you , not just the Fathers, have a great and glorious day! Just don't forget to thank Him for it all!
The secret of health,, for both, the mind, and body is not to mourn for the past, not to worry about the future, nor anticipate troubles, but to live the present, wisely, and earnestly!

Hicks definition of a Father: To be a father, one must love, their children to the highest love , other than the love of their God... He must sacrifice, giving more than he takes, and even his life , if needed for a child,, take the lead,,clear the path,, keep discipline of his children, and in himself.. and give as must respect to his children, as he requires of himself,,,and again, and most of all, unconditional love, and exposing, and teaching them Christianity, and all about God!

UP OR DOWN?
SATURDAY! Yea! Woke this mornign with God in my heart , again! How did you wake up this morning, and with what did your mind give you a picture of your day? Just don't forget to take the one who made it,,, with you! You all have a great God's day!

Just from an old "Thoughts",,,,, as I prayed today for the words to write for "Thoughts",,
this just kept coming to me, so you should know , that when "that time" comes, gravity will not play any part in this heading,,, for it will cease to exist! Gravity will be replaced with the other gravity ,, call "Judgment Day",, and folks , if you don't have your "Jesus Safety Belt" on, then your drop is going to be quick, very painful, and a lot of hurt,,,for an eternity! Now, make your plans for that day, NOW,,,,and stay afloat in Heaven , for an eternity,, accept Jesus today, this very second, if you have not, and if you have , make another commitment to Him, be sure,have the faith that you will surely go...

PLEASURES OF A DAY!
FRIDAY-TGIF-TGED! HAPPY FRIDAY TO ALL! Now , you have it to this day before the w/e , and then the w/e! or maybe you have a three day w/e, congratulations ,, on either count! On this day, may God bless you in a way beyond even your imagination,, but you will know,,, it is from Him! He is is not only great, but also very, very good, so enjoy what He has made and given this day!
PLEASURES OF A DAY!
Went to the shopping center yesterday in Macon, then to K-mart, ate @ Chick Filet, on to Wally World, , then to Lowe's for some flowers for "The Cross " Garden,, and on home,,, guess what, I never heard a nasty word, the out-look of 98% of attitudes , was absolutely great! Now, was this a surprise?,,,YES, it was, and after yesterdays "thoughts", I would not have believed it, but I know my God, and when you get to the point of my frustration, then God steps in, gives you a relief,, that only He can give...and he gave it to me, a breath of His fresh air!!!
Now ,, for all those who does not believe that this can happen, then you don't believe in God! Those who do, know of His greatness, and His love, and do believe, and that He is THE ONLY GOD! So today I just want to say out loud,, to all to hear,, and this is what I say ,,
GOD , THANK YOU FOR THE PLEASURES OF YESTERDAY,
AND OF COURSE TODAY,
AND ALL THE DAYS TO FOLLOW! Amen

CURSING!
THURSDAY! After waking this early morning, I sit down at this computer, and thank God for this day, first, ,, How did we get to where we are today? It is a wonder God has let us continue on this path,, It must be that Christians are sure doing some good and faithful praying, and living a good Christian life with a lot of faith! I know God is well pleased with each of you! Have a great day to you all!
SAY WHAT *#(*# ?
Have you ever been in a check out line, or walking down the street, listening to tapes, watching a movie.. and hear the foul language that is being spoken? Now , you can turn the tapes and the movie off,,, but in a store, at a checkout,, down an aisle, outside on the street, walking down a sidewalk, can this be turned off also! Yes ! How? By doing what some places are doing, and of course it has to be enforced... a 25 dollar fine for foul language, per word! Is this a curb of free speech? No! It is not a tolerate lanugage here, in this country! We , and I mean me in the use of I,, and I am 70- was not raised on this language, and if I did decide to use it, then I found out what soap actually tasted like,, and it was not good! Yes, IT ALL STARTS IN THE HOME! I will not accept it as "a thing in our young people " . This can be changed also, by correcting these foul mouths by yourself, and IF WE ALL would do it,it would help curb it some.
Now for the big question, "Have any of you corrected your children , when they do curse, or make obscene gestures,, ? Or , do you just let it slide, or smile ,because you don't want to hurt their feeling, or you just too lazy to correct them? "
I respect my wife, my children, my grandchildren, enough to not want to hear this language.. and I will correct it , when I hear it,, I will say, excuse me, that is not what I want, who ever is with me to hear, and neither do I! Yes, it can be a challenged, and especially when it is more than one, in "gang clad", but you know what, I hear it in some real good dressed , "up-town" young people also, and some middle aged ones, but very, very little in older folks,,, Yes, I am an old fuddy duddy,, when it come to respect for the women around me, and you , women,, also should be ! So don't put up with it and join me and be a "fuddy duddy" when you hear that

JUST TODAY!
WEDNESDAY! Waking up this morning, with no light on at all, pure darkness, but knowing that a bright light was shinning with-in my heart, for the one who was holding it, never sleeps, and makes sure all is well! Now, you, just stop , ponder with-in the heart, listen, and hear the bell ringing,, as He rings to show the way out ,to those who don't know who is victor over the darkness.. Jesus Christ, who conquered death long, long ago! Wake as I did this morning by answering the bell! Have a great day, Oh yes, you don't have to wait to wake up to answer the bell, you can do it ,,any time!

THE SANDALS I CHOOSE!
TUESDAY- While opening your eyes this day, praise God for what you have , and not what you don't have! He already knows the past, the present the future, He just waits to see if you will follow the right path, for THAT, He has given and left the way we go, to us! Think about what you plan to do, before you do it! Have a great Gods day!

I saw an advertisement where people were lined up to buy a pair of sneakers going on sell,, now hear this,, for 400 dollars, on sale! I watched in disbelief, with the economy where it is, unemployment at an all time low, people on the news asking for more government bail outs,,, crops not being picked by us, but having to be picked by new immigrants, because we are just not capable of doing the job fast enough, or good enough, and people are still out of work,,well out of work, some because?
If this country has enough money to stand in line for a 400 pair of sneakers, or a ticket to some hell raising concert with drugs and other things present, then I guess I can see why God turns His back and has to look over His shoulder at this country now!
Yes, and I can't say it enough, ,400 dollar sneakers, and if they will stop , think, and look ,,, they all just passed a free pair of
SANDALS, THAT WILL "OUR-WEAR" ANYTHING MAN-MADE!
Lord, I pray that this nation will turn its' head , before we have walked to far in the wrong shoes, amen

A SOUL, TO BE LIFTED!
MONDAY! We , here in Yatesville, Ga. are waking up , again to the sound of rain! To us, this is great, for we have been in a drought here for quite awhile. I have prayed, most have prayed, and I have just stated , Lord, send us the rain, if it is your decision, and I thought also, , and then said, and the amount, You already know, leave it up to us, and we will flood some, leave some dry, and bare, so Lord, You had better handle this one, for we have already torn Your world up enough already...and I guess all of you all will have to say the same thing , right?
A SOUL LIFTED!
This morning,, I want to just say , are you ready,, when your judgment day comes? I am not trying to make your day, a day of doom, or of worry, but trying to say to you, "Be Prepared!"! Don't think you can wait, for a life, the end of times, is of the knowing of the Lord, not anyone else here on this earth,,, and it is so fragile, that the telling of it being like the flickering of a candle, and a slight blowing of a breeze in the night, or the day, can make the light go, and the dark come.....is true, then it is not time for, for the time has gone by,,, to make a decision..!
Decision from you , is no more, so why not use the faith given now, use God's plan, call Jesus to your side, accept Him, don't delay! Once accepted, do not fall back, but stand straight, tall, and have strength of character,, to do what is right, and Christian, no matter the circumstances, for satan will try harder to get you back, after you have committed to Christ.. and he never rests at trying to get souls , and kill them, so be ready, that when your candle may go out,, no more flame, you are prepared for your
SOUL TO BE LIFTED, AND NOT DROPPED
Lord, I pray, that I and my fellow ones here on this earth ,will hear Your word, make a decision to follow You, give You their souls now, walk with the Son, for here to there side by side , hand in hand, and not one will be dropped into hell, but all will come to You, and I pray this will all my sincerity. amen

STOMPING, AND HOLLERING!
SUNDAY! How did you wake up today? With God in your heart, or was your heart harden, and you "just" woke up? Well , I awoke and heard God right off,, yes I heard Him, it was raining, and I do believe He is everything.. then, I went to the coffee pot, got that good ole cup of "java", and set under my carport, and listened to the rain,, now that was waking up! Thank You God, for both, waking ,and the rain, oh, yes don't let me forget, the coffee too!
STOMPED MY FOOT, AND HOLLERED!
Yes, that is what I did when I was crossing the street, and someone came storming down the street, looking dead into a red light, but waited until they were real close, then did the ultimate nose dive, with brakes, and came to a stop almost at my legs! Yes, they knew exactly what they were doing, and my reaction, of course was a hard stare,, after getting my heart to settle down,, and my breathing started back,, and looking at them with a smile on their face? Yes, they knew, that they had scared me, so I re-acted just like satan wanted me to.... I stomped my foot, and hollered,,"Hey, you nut,who taught you how to drive"..and when I was younger, I would have given them,,, the ole ,"ultimate sign"! This happens to us, maybe not at a red-light, but driving down the road, and someone runs to close to us.. or gives us a "gesture", we return it, or a bad word, a bump.. we , if where we can, stomp our foot, or holler, at them. or do both! Right, don't deny it, for satan works on us that way,, retaliate,,, get even, don't let them get away with that, but what would happen IF,
we just smiled, nodded, waved, a friendly hand, or walked by and said a "God Bless You,", or "you know, Jesus loves you!" , and so do I ... no we act like satan, most of the time,, but it will be great, when all start acting like God wants us to,, and quit
STOMPING OUR FEET IN ANGER, AND HOLLERING OUT OBSCENITIES!
Lord, please put a control on our actions, and our tongues, and let all have a forgiving nature, and act like it, just as You do to us! Amen

SUV,, TOP CARRIER
SATURDAY! You made it, to the W/E! Now that you are here, get ready to enjoy it ,if you have not already made your plans, and if you have made them, stop long enough to ask Jesus to come along, unless, you have made plans that you don't want Him along! Maybe , you need to stop, and re-plan, Huh?
Prayer Request: From Brenda J. , her DIL, is with child, due on the 26th of June, and her request is that she have a healthy time from now to delivery, and a healthy child.
SUV,,, TOP CARRIER!
I saw a SUV the other day, it had the top chrome carrier on it.. and it was loaded so high, I don't see how they could get anymore on it,,, and on the windows was written stretched from one window to the other,, "Bound For The Glory Land! The BEACH!"
I gazed at the ones driving , with the front window down, for if not ,you can't see into a car these days..but anyway it was a bunch of young people , waving at everyone, and having a great time, just radiating the excitement of being "free", and on the way to the beach, just as I would have been at that age,,and can get almost that excited about it now,, for the beach is the exciting "get away",, the almost paradise, for some.
You might have guess what I thought after they had gone pass. Yes , my old writing of the statement, "Have You Ever Seen A Luggage Carrier On A Hearst?" Well, just a reminder today,,, think about that needle, how small the eye is, and just what can you get through it,, barely you and our soul,, and that is only with the ease-ment of having Jesus Christ in it and with you when you go through... so prepare not what you can take , but how you leave this world, and with who, & what you left,,, to help others to follow you through that eye at their time,, and that is the way to and of the cross , not materialistic..that you need to leave!
Have you prepared yourself to take that trip with Jesus,,, or ,, are you still loading your

Lord , I pray that all are loading their hearts, for Jesus, and for You, and that they have accepted Jesus, for the trip through the eye, and to You..amen

God does not just come and bless you, nor me , just on Sunday,, or Wednesday night prayer meeting,, God is a God of 24/7,, He never sleeps, His Son is here , waiting for us,, while running a world, a universe, keeping satan at bay, waiting for you to ask, for help in keep him, satan away.
If you just walk around and wait for the seventh day,, then my friends , you just aren't going to make it! Being a Christian, is also a 24/7 choice! Not a convenience,, but a real choice to use ,, daily, by minutes and seconds,, work,, work, for satan works 24/7 also,and you are his main target!
I am not judging, I am making a factional statement.. agree or disagree, your choice!..but I am right on this one, completely! I stand my ground, and I ask YOU to call out to God, ask Jesus to walk with you daily, stand solid, and tall.. like a rock, for God, and all He represents,,,,,and that is OUR ALL! So, come on join me, in working for Him,

COME , TO THE AID OF YOUR COUNTRY!
THURSDAY! Wake up you sleepy heads! It's a great day, and as you start off to the day of adventures of a hundred things, please take Jesus with you, He loves to travel and , well just be with you! Believe this? Then you do know Him also! Have a great day!
Thinking of Something, Learned,, of a yesterdy, & so much,, in need of , Today!
For some reason, this morning , I was praying as to what God wanted me to write this morning, and this is what came out. When I took typing in high school, as a class just to get by, I have realized that this one class has effected me as much,,if not more,, than all the others. It helped me in the service, and in my work career , and now writing on the computer, so yes, typing helped me... and now for the thing that popped in to my head that came from that class also..and is so ,so real this day of our times,,, it was a practice that the teacher had us do to learn the keys, for it used so many of them,, you should try it this morning..and I did not really think about it until now, after prayer, and here it is,,
"Now is the time, for all good men, to come to the aid of their country!"
This is so true of the need of our country this day, do you agree?
Lord, I ask for You to come and help this country, and re-bless her , for she is is such need of You today. amen

BLESSING OF YOUR FOOD!
WEDNESDAY! The ole "Hump Day"! Eyelids open this great day, with anticipation of making your plans for the W/E,, for only two days left, and isn't that what Wednesdays are for, having made it to the middle of the week,and now on the slide down-hill? Just make sure when you make that slide, it is down to the week-end, and not down further, like you know were it gets real, real hot! Get it? So plan your slide with the one who gave it to you to slide!! Keep it safe , and "cool" !
BLESSING OF YOUR FOOD!
Do you bless your food at each meal? We should, and there is no excuse not to! If you are with someone,, and they start to eat, just bow your head , say your blessing, and if they want to stop and join in, o.k, but if not, don't stop, don't make excuses, just pray your thanks, smile your satisfaction of doing it, and a little smile to your God, and then enjoy our meal.
I, in my younger days , and some of my older days,, in the pass, would not to do this, when at work, or out with the guys from work when we would jump in the old company station wagon(which got stolen during Katrina as I was on watch at work,Ha), and I missed a great chance to be a testimonial to all with me. and to let God know I was thankful, which is the purpose in this "asking the blessings" at meals...
Never let "public" stop you, nor embarrass you, for when you get to Heaven, stand before God at the Throne of Judgment, there will be multiple souls around you, and Jesus to stand by your side, and I know you don't want anyone there , especially Jesus to be embarrassed as to walking up and standing next to you..right? Well, you do the same , when you set down to eat, at Mac's ,Hardy's, or wherever, the greatest restaurants of the world, be a spectacle, be seen , be humble, and when you set down to eat,,
BOW YOUR HEAD, AND GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR IT!
Lord, I give you thanks for all my meals, and all the things I have on this earth, and most of all, Your son, and the path to You, by and through Him, aman

Now, your choice as to bow your head at the table, is also just one of your choices to acknowledge God, and Jesus Christ, the others are multiple, , when you awake, when you start to work, when you arrive at work or any destination, the ability and freedom to pray,,, in public, etc. , and most of all the choice to accept Jesus Christ as your Savior, and this choice is yours,, and yours alone, do it now, don't wait,, o.k.?

EYES WIDE OPEN!
TUESDAY! Wake up this great morning with love and forgiveness in your heart, a good word on your tongue and a big smile on your lips, for all whom you meet today! Now after this day has gone, and you have done this, feel the good of that satisfaction, of what you did this very day, to make this world a better place! NOW IF, EVERYONE WOULD JUST DO THIS! WOW! WHAT A BLESSING THIS WOULD BE, RIGHT?
WITH EYES WIDE OPEN!
Question, you are on a train track, a big locomotive is barreling down on you,, on the side of a freeway, big trucks coming at 80 miles per hour, standing on a street, a car speeding at just 40 mph... with your eyes wide open, do you step off the tracks, stand solid at the side of the freeway, slide to the curb of the street? Or, do you stand in place, step onto the freeway, not move off the street? You see these opportunities of self preservation, and 99 % of the time ,you take them, if of sound mind. This just makes good sense, there is no reason to even doubt your decision , of life over death! It is one of "Mans" built in "sonar", of survival! You, I, and all of the ones you can even bring to mind will do this, and those you just see, and do not even know will make this decision!
They will make the move to save their lives..and not die,,,,,
SO MORAL TO THIS STORY,,, if man can see this, know this, make a move to save ones' life, then why do they not make the decision to save ones' life , not for this short time, but for an eternity? Why not Jesus,, for He is there , to save ,not destroy, not to kill, but to save, He and His Father are so visible, look around , see them everywhere, with arms out-stretched,, are

SECRETS
MONDAY! Well, this little "big" town of ours, woke up to water this morning and back to baths, off to work, just like nothing had happened,, but as the water came back on , the middle of the afternoon, the young was just glad, the old, finished talking about the old days of no running water,, and was also glad of the new age, again, and we all felt that God had said these words,, "Yes, I am still here"! and we all say, we agree!
Thought for the day: A tree uses what comes its way to nurture itself. By sinking its roots deeply into the earth, by accepting the rain that flows towards it, by reaching out to the sun, the tree perfects its character and becomes great. ... Absorb, absorb,absorb. That is the secret of the tree.
MAN-TREE, NO SECRET!
The secret of Man, and of Woman, is the same , to a point, to the tree, do you agree? Man, comes to nurture himself, sinks roots, accepts nature for water and food, grows with the sun, and the moon,,, tries to perfect its character, of all sorts, & just like the trees, all different kinds, and absorb the works of a greater creator,, I call God.. and we are always trying to perfect what He made perfect, the un-perfect part,, , now that is ours!
YES, WE ARE OF GOD, JUST LIKE THE TREE, AND THAT IS NO SECRET!

and folks , that is what we all need to do, DAILY,,and that is pray with gratitude, rather than some many requests!
I am running late this morning, and I will make this short,,, we in these United States of America, are blessed,,why?,, We were founded , A Nation, Under God, and IF, we will pray to Him , who gave it to us, He will prevail over all else,, but without Faith in that prayer, it will be like blowing into a hurricane! Get the meaning, Pray, but
RAY IN FAITH, OF HIM , AND NOT TO HEAR ONESELF TALK,
nor all requests!

ALLL ABROAD!
SATURDAY! You have made it to the week-end! I hope and pray, you have a wonderful two days,,, and for those who are out of school, have a great three months,, and,
TEACHERS,, have an even greater three months, you deserve every minute, of every day, and may WE all say thanks to you , TEACHERS!!! You do a wonderful job, you help make this world! Thanks from all the parents of today, and yes, those of tomorrow, later!
ALL ABROAD!
Yes, this morning, an old one! Catch that glory train , from here to eternity,,, need a ticket so you will be able to ride it when it passes your place? Well, you have to get on your knees, look up to the Living God, and tell Him , "I accept Your Son as my Savior, I repent of all my sins, and God, I want a ticket to Heaven!"... You then have that Ticket,, and guess who will have His hand out as that train picks you up at your time,, yes , for sure and guaranteed a seat on that GLORY TRAIN,, Jesus will grab your hand , give you a hug , and then take you to Heaven, and stand next to you before His Father, and take your sins, and leave you sin free, and on into eternity with God, and all there! So listen and be prepared for that whistle, when the time comes, from that
JESUS GLORY TRAIN, ALLLLLLL ABROAD!!!!!!!

NATION,,,,UNDER SIEGE!
FRIDAY! The first day of June, already? Won't be long until this year will be half over, and downhill to the big celebrating of Christmas... have you thought about starting your shopping, Ha! Might be a good idea.... but even now, keep in mind why and what it is all about! Have a great "another" of Gods' days!
A NATION UNDER SIEGE!
The good ole USA,,, is now under a siege, that I hope we will be able to break loose from. Money , has become the "god" of our leaders, the very ones we have elected,, are betraying us... They are living a life of luxury, big homes, big cars, big parties, multiple vacations!,, Where can you get a job, that pays so little, that some, even give up big paying jobs to get elected, yet , they make more money during their term than we make in ten lifetimes! There number is not 100%, but their number is only, like 90%! We owe other countries more money than we have in our gold reserve, how does this happen,, how can they, and our top leader let this happen,, now,, and over the years...it is because so many are holding out their hands , without working on welfare(some need, but lots are just riding the donkey!), and getting a handful of money, and government benefits, just like the elected ones, just not as much, but enough to keep those gluten , sorry ones in that office,that would make your home and mind like a little shandy town home! Yes, I am mad, and so should you... what , we can't do anything about, is let it continue! Yes we can stop it! ,,
FIRST THING we need to do, is bring GOD BACK INTO OUR LIVES, AND ON INTO OUR HOMES, THEN WE NEED TO VOTE THESE RASCALS OUT OF OFFICE,, and put some in that will do for God, and Nation, and keep this Nation "afloat", and sailing into the company of the one who gave it to us in the first place, , our God, for , folks , He can take it away in a moment!
Now, do we come out of the siege,, or do we just go along with it? If we go along, , then how do you look your grand-children, in the eyes, with a dollar bill in your hand , buying their love , while letting their freedom and country sink to the bottom of a cesspool?,,,or I hope and I pray, that it is in their eyes, with God on your lips, and prayer in your hearts,,,, for folks that is the only way we are going to over-come this,
"GREED SIEGE", WE ARE NOW UNDER!
WE MUST BRING GOD BACK IN FIRST PLACE, PUT satan DOWN AND OUT!
Lord, I ask this day, forgiveness of this nations greed, and its' sins, and I ask, will You please re-store her back to Your hands, & the land of the free,, back into Your hands, and free from satan, and all his sins,, amen

Just had to let it go, as I watched the news , and see so many lies, corruption of promises, not kept, just told, so they can go on to the high life of their offices.. Make a choice , for God, and some new faces in Congress,! Let's you and I make a CHOICE!
