GOD'S PEACE

TUESDAY! WHAT HAPPENED TO JANUARY? HA! A happy person is not a person in a certain set of circumstances, but rather a person with a certain set of attitudes! What kind of "attitude" do you have?
One of real life, with Jesus, or just a life, with a hum, hum attitude? If not with Jesus, then you need an "attitude" adjustment!

Prayer Request: Jim Ellington , who had a heart attack last night,, and has been life flighted to Macon Medical Center,, and is in ICU .. please pray for this young man!

GOD'S PEACE!

God's peace, which is so great we cannot understand it, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7

The Lord came to Gideon, and told him he was to lead his people in victory over the Midianites. That is like God telling a housewife to stand up to her abusive husband, or a high school student to take on drug peddlers..."Y-y-y-you b-b-better g-g-get somebody else." we stammer.
But then God reminds us that He knows we can't, but He can, and to prove it , He gives a wonderful gift. He brings a spirit of peace.... He gave, and still gives us

HIS SON, JESUS CHRIST, THE PRINCE OF PEACE!

Lord, I ask for your blessing upon the young man , Jim, Bless Him and all those who need you no matter how little, or how big, for size of needs, is of no consequence to You, the Healer of all... amen

SUNDAY! As you awake this morning,, leave all of your hurts, hatereds, behind you,, start your new day, and your new life, with a new clean attitude..of love, forgiveness, and love of your living
God! Is that too much to ask for?

I AM NOT ASHAMED!

Webster defines: ashamed- feeling guilt,, embarrassed.

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth" (Romans 1:16). No matter what you have done, if you trust and believe in Jesus,, He will save you. "for whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved" (Romans 10:13). Believe, means also to testify,, not hold back,, but spread the word,, be as Paul,, the one who claimed to be the chief of sinners.. a tax collector,, hated by all,, converted as he walked on the road to Damascus,, saved by the Grace of God,, and went forth ,,,"un-ashamed" of his new conviction of Christ,, his words spoken with faith,, and head held high,, eyes on the people, looking them straight back ,, completely un-ashamed!
Saved? Testify? Talk to others? Stand with the Cross? Stand with Jesus? Stand for God? Against satan , and all sin,, not just convenient sin?
The answer you give must be the answer of non-ashamed conviction.. which is it,, for God or not? We all need to get off our butts of self righteousness, and start our own personal crusades for our Lord and Savior, and be a "Jesus Person" and speak up and never again

BE ASHAMED!

"If anyone is ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels". Luke: 9:26

Almighty God,, I ask that we all stand tall,, with the face of Jesus in our eyes, our hearts and on our tongues and we speak of Him and You with all the gusto we can muster.. with no shame at all... amen

"SPECK"

FRIDAY- and as I awoke, I smelled the coffee,,, I thought, just how great can this be, a small "speck" on His planet "earth"... one planet of His , in millions that is His,, yet, He awoke me, this little speck,,, and as soon as I took that conscience breath,, started giving me,,,my wants... first , the opening of my eyes,, then my coffee! Do you know of anyone else that can do this.. or wants to do this , and is so powerful to do the things such as control the Universe, but is able to stop, and give love,,, to not just this speck,,but to other specks,, that out number the grains of sand on the beaches of this world... Now this is great! The greatest of love that I can ever imagine! How about you? Do you know of a greater love than His? What did He do for you ,"speck", this morning?

Lord , the above is enough to shout about for now,, I pray that all of the "specks" of this world will come to You, through Your Son, Jesus, and not only give thanks..but give their heart and soul , back to where it came from in the first place.. You. amen

KICK A DOG/ KICK A CHRISTIAN!

THURSDAY! I close my eyes with, "thank you Lord, for this day",, I open my eyes in the morning as I awake, and "I thank the Lord for this day, to come!" When you consciously blink, and your heart beats, and you take a breath... things God gives to you automatically, that you may live. Is He not the greatest! I think so! So why not more "thanks" given,,? Something to think about..right?

Prayer Requests: For all those who do not know the Lord, and have not come forward and accepted Him
For our nations leaders... that they open their eyes, and see other than greed, and themselves!

KICK A DOG,, KICK A CHRISTIAN!

This is hard to write this morning, for I am going to quickly compare a dog and a Christian! Are you ready? First, I want you to go out and find your dog.. kick him/her... walk off ,,, come back tomorrow, bend down and call your dog to you... It will come running to you ,, wagging its' tail with a heart full of love,, forgetting and forgiving your kick...
Second, find a Christian,, kick him /her, real hard.. and don't worry, you won't have to wait until tomorrow for the results....but after today's' results,, come on back tomorrow anyway, and see if he/her comes running up to you smiling, with hand out, a hug in their arms?
Now, by our Lords' word, we are to be forgiving as Christians,,, and yes , me included, if we could be more like the good little ole dog... maybe, just maybe,,, we could be two things,, more at peace,,,, and better Christians.

What do you think about this ? Yes, I know,, no one wants to be compared to a dog! But if the collar fits?

Lord, thank you for caring for us,, and I pray that we all become better Christians... for we are weak, You are strong... amen..

You Are Free!

WEDNESDAY- HUMP DAY! Ready your slide as you start this day,,,plan smart...don't be dumb,, slide on a smooth surface,, and that is a God filled heart and a soul given,, to Jesus! A slide without Him, is a slide into no-mans land,, a land of satan,, an empty feeling that is tried to be filled with sin, and more sin,, but never satisfying..but the slide with and to include Jesus,, is so over-filling, so satisfying,, you will not walk , but more than likely, you will skip in to , and through this week-end,,, so again,, plan well,,,,, and smart!

Prayer Request: Little Brielle, who under went heart surgery yesterday, and is doing well,, pray she will continue to recovery and that God will continue to bless her!

Update: Lori,, who had radiation of the throat,,,could not swallow , except small amount of water,,, given steriods, and now she has eaten a meal,,, solid foods...wow! God is good! Frank is the same.

Millie,,, walked on that hip,, through the house with just an aid of a cane... faith will continue to heal her,, keep praying for her and the ones above.

God is so good,, and when you think He is not with you, there He is ,, on that stump next to you!

In today's courts of justice, a lawbreaker is brought before the judge and sentenced. When we come before the Judge of the universe with our guilt, we find ourselves sentenced to death. Every one of us is under the condemnation of God because we are guilty. We have broken His law.
Now, suppose you are sitting in the death house awaiting the carrying out of your sentence. You deserve it, and you know you deserve it. What you did, you did with your eyes open, and you are facing execution. But suppose someone comes and volunteers to take your place. And suppose the prison guard opens the door of your cell and escorts you into the warden's office and there you are told, "You are free." You find it hard to believe. "What do you mean, I am free?" And you are told, "Someone else took your punishment. Someone took your judgment. Someone has already died in your place,

you are free!" and that is exactly what Jesus did! Now , you are free of sin , if you accept Him!

God, thank You for Jesus,, and thank you for Your love of us , in spite of ourselves! amen

WHERE IS GOD?

TUESDAY! Welcome to another of Gods' days! By His love, do we have this one, and any other to come. We are here by His Grace, and we can keep this home for a short time, or we can destroy it by leaving Him out. I choose to have Him beside me... read the part below,,, you may have already read it, but it needs repeating of "the where of God", and

JUST WHERE HE IS!

Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's rite of Passage?

His father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone.
He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of the morning sun shine through it.He cannot cry out for help to anyone.
Once he survives the night, he is a MAN.
He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, because each lad must come into manhood on his own.
The boy is naturally terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm. The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat as it would be the only way, he could become a man, never removing his blindfold!
Finally, after a horrific night the sun appeared and he removed his blindfold.
It was then that he discovered his father sitting on the stump next to him.
He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm.
Moral of the story:
Just because you can't see God,
Doesn't mean He is not there.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."

JUMP START!

MONDAY! Welcome to this great start,, of the first day of the rest of your life! If you do not have a plan , that includes Jesus as your partner,,,, then please stop,, right now, and re-think, re-plan, and then continue on a path-way of joy,,,and a promise of life eternal,,,,with Him at your side.

JUMP START!

Have you ever had a "moment" with your car or truck.. lawn mower,, boat, motorcycle,, anything with an engine,, that you turned the key,, heard two things.. a low murmur of the engine, then nothing.. or just a click, click,, a "no start" with both experiences!.....Yes,, a dead battery... then , call someone to come get you, buy a new one,, or get a "jump start".... and if you are out in a strange city,, a good Samaritan comes up with the words,,, "hey, need a jump?".. is like a million dollar win at the moment, and if no one shows up,,, like an eternity of just that "lost feeling" completely alone!
Now, I want each of you to just stop,,, and think of that moment, you turned that switch, and that car did not start.... how did you feel,,, how did your mind re-act to that "nothing"? This is a sample of what it is like to face God,, with unforgiven sin,,, alone.. no one to come to your aid.... just standing , alone,, like in a foreign town,, call ,,, no answer,, just alone,, a feeling of lost.. and that is exactly correct,,, if you face God alone! Don't!,, Get that "die-hard" battery of life here and now.... call out now...call Jesus,, ask Him to forgive you of your sin, give Him your heart and soul,,, and then when the time arrives to face God on that Throne,,,, your cables will be already connected.... ready to answer those questions from your book of life,, ,,,for once read ,,, and before sentence,,,Jesus will come in, and call out to His Father, He or she is sin free,,, for I have paid the price...Yes those cables that you connect now,, will be the best

JUMP START YOU WILL HAVE EVER HAD!

God, thank You for Giving us Jesus,,,and I pray that all who hear His name , will accept Him as Your Son, and our Savior from all sin.. amen

SUNDAY! As I open my eyes this morning, I first thank my Lord for the day, then,,,I smell the coffee,, and as I have said a thousand times+,, This is my first "have to do", as my feet hit the floor..and again I thank God for the pleasure and the company in drinking it with,,, and that is all of you as I write these "thoughts"! May all of you be as blessed as I am,,, this day!

HOLDING ON!

What are you holding on to in this life,,, what do you have, if things start breaking up,, money?, insurance?, friends?, relatives?, faith ? Most go through this life with an attitude of,, all is well ,or all will be well. We seem to not receive warnings very good, we see ourselves as un-stoppable, unbreakable, so when we do break,, who do we turn to ?
Yes, that is usually when we always turn to God in emergencies,, but turn to cool things when all is well,, and we should enjoy life ,,,but we should have Him with us in ALL we do.. My Granddaughter wrote something about "Duct Tape".. back in January of 2010.
Re-quote: She wrote: "Duct Tape is like the force(Star Wars, remember the force?) It has a light side, it has a dark side, but it holds the world together." We have that also,, a light side, and a dark side,, which one we show is our choice,, and when we have both we have to do a lot of praying,, but we don't need to use "Duct Tape" , for we have something better to hold us together,, better than the ole faithful "Duct",, that is Jesus Christ, He never stops holding,, and He keeps us on the light(right) side,,, so who are you

SATURDAY! What are the first words you utter each morning as you open your eyes from a nights sleep? Well,besides the loud yawn! Ponder in your heart and mind, and then you decide, what is it, that I should say, first and foremost, as I open my eyes, from a sound, restful sleep?
Now say your answer out loud, and listen closely to what you deem most important in your life.

PLAY DOUGH!

This is two words my wife almost hates to hear,, in the house,, outside in the wide open spaces,, Then to her,, it is o.k., and great for kids to play with, just not in-doors! I have watched my grand-kids mold strange things and when they show them to me,,, I have to really put my imagination together to see what they see, but to them , it is as perfect as the Mona Lisa, for their little eyes see great things, with great faith, for to them, it is an actually! Their molded "thing", is real to them,, what an out-site of a person ,, then they grow, and we teach them to only see the "certain" beauties,,, we deem great..

Well where would we be if we were the potter of us? Could we mold a perfect person,, and would we give it any power of judgment, or just a form,,,like the child's figure from play dough?

We are like clay, and You are the potter,, Your hands made us all. Isaiah 64:8

Thank You ,God for molding us from the dirt,, and then giving us a mind to move , breath, ... and not stand still , and let sin abound,, around us and within us.. Where do we get these idea we can't change? From where comes statements such as, "it's just my nature to worry", but do nothing? It's in our nature , if we have a broken leg, we seek help, not say, "it's just my nature to have a broken leg".
You can do something about that broken leg,, just as you can about sin around you, and within you... We can break the statue of molded clay, unmoving because of satans hold,, sin,,
We can use our God given talents,, We can cry out to Jesus,,for He and only He can change a harden heart, or reach out and save a lost soul...and how does He do it?.. by you and I asking Him to come and do it,,and He will,,,,for He has Dominion over all , given by the Maker , our GOD , with Him,, and as we call to Him, then,,we become a living being, we accept Jesus, we are saved, but without Him we are going through our lives

UST LIKE PLAY DOUGH,, COLORFUL, BUT DOING NOTHING, AND LETTING OTHERS MOLD US!

O ASK JESUS IN,, NOW!

God, Thank You,,, for loving us, and molding us to be as You, and may we call upon You and Your Son , to lead us in all we do,, amen

Prayer Request: For Megan Gaff, whose body just hurts, can't sleep, and causes her depression..please pray for this young lady, who gives praise to her God every chance she gets,, and now needs you to cry out in prayer also.. pray for God to give her complete relief!

PEACE , REAL PEACE!

We say we are at peace in this nation,, others in this world, claim peace,, yet we are at a war that must be raged,, against satan and his angels! Fight for all who have not accepted Christ,,for satan wages a war of wars upon the weak, those who are unsaved,, keeping them from Him and us and believe it or not, he is attacking those saved with a gusto that we cannot even imagine! Yes, war! We are engaged,,, the ones who want to kill us, just for being Americans,, our belief,,we are in danger , and we must fight back, with all our might,, we must follow our General and Commandeer,,, God.. accept his sword of strength,,,,His Son, to lead the way of our pathway to real freedom and peace,,,,

YES,, PEACE,, to find this peace is with the acceptance of Jesus,, and then when the day comes, of His return,,,

WHEN CHRST COMES,,,
Then wolves will live in peace with lambs and lepoards will lie down to rest with goats. Isaiah 11:6

Now, can you imagine,,, walking up to this scenario,,, and sitting also in the middle of this scene,,,and with no harm... think about it,,then go forward with Jesus Christ and tell the story,,the story of wonderment!

THURSDAY! Waking up in a free nation each morning, is a blessing we have,, that many more in this world does not have! We need to thank God for this day, for what we have,,, which does include where we live..and let it be known,, we are a "Nation Under God"! Live like it, and don't take anything less, by giving thanks to Him, OUR GOD!

UP OR DOWN?

Every so often I write this down on the thoughts. Why? I believe that sometimes a short statement can get the attention quicker than two or three paragraphs.. and sometimes , I seem to run on and on,, so here it is...
If you believe in God,, and Jesus, and you accept Jesus as your personal Savior,, and ask Him to accept you..then you will go up!
and if you don't , then simple, opposite of up? You got it, down!, to satan's place!
Which one, is your choice,, and you are the only one who can make it, so do it , now, while the candle burns, for once it goes out,, it is finalized...so which one did you pick?

Lord, I choose up, and I ask that all who reads this,, chooses up, and that WE ALL tell this story, and be wittiness's for You,, to each we meet.,, by mouth, and by example, amen

This is short,,, what has happen to the salute to the singing of our National Anthem of our American Flag? I watched the pro games,,, not half of those "over -paid" athletics,, & maybe 1/3 of the audience have their hands over their hearts, to salute this Flag of our United States of America,, & one game just started,, with no singing of our National Anthem,, at all...is their time so precious?
It is time we started showing the respect of our Flag,, stop those burning it, no matter the law,,, this is OUR country,, so just pack them up "the flag burners), and send them to Iran,, then they can have what they want , what ever that could be & offer all those who can't even salute , a sling, to hold up their lazy arms over their hearts ,when they hear that great old glorious song start.."Oh can you see....) and oh yes , be sure and put your hand over your heart! TUESDAY! As you open your eyes this morning from a good nights sleep,, open them to your maker also..and give a little thank you for all you have. Have a great God's day!

Prayer Requests: Mary Lee's husband , Steve, whose grandmother has un-operate-able cancer throughout her mid-section..pray for God to give her a touch of His Hand in relief for her.

Millie's request for Lori,,who had radiation and it burned up her saliva glands,, pray she can find a way to swallow food,,, and pray for the Lord to lay His hands on Her.., also Lori's husband, Frank, who has terminal cancer, and that God will be with him through-out and give him relief until the time He chooses ..and for Lori's mother Barbara, who is really tore up with this,,she needs prayers of comfort also for her...

Our pastors wife, Deb, that she recovers from Gall bladder trouble, and all pain.

Prayer for this dreaded disease of cancer to be eradicated from man.

FAMILY

There are two kinds of "family",,, there is the "human family",,, this is just man, woman. children, and material things...then there is "human family"... this one is a husband , wife, mother, father, children, home, under Gods control,,,by choice, and they eat together, pray together, and are dedicated to each other,,,and perform charity duties for God..
Now why did I put "human family" in quotes the same...well a human family is a family , but you have to decide by choice ,as to which one you are... right? So are you

FAMILY?, OR A MIRROR OF ONE?

Lord, I pray for all families to make a decision to live under your word and control by calling out to you, and I pray for all the above on the prayer list,,,and all who need you , amen

MONDAY! Today,, stop, and enjoy the moment ,, the feeling of His presence! Yes, if you believe, you will feel that touch of the heart,, a feeling of full fillmeant! Then , go out, and enjoy the day, given free, and just for you and I! My, my, God is Great!

Prayer Request: For all those hurt, battered, scared, sick, cold, hungry, lonely, I ask we pray and ask God to touch them all..for He knows,,,and let us pray for only His will be done...that will be enough, so please pray for all the above.

An employee gets a compliment.....A widow is hugged,,,,A gas station attendant is honored at their store,,,,A preacher is praised...Sowing seeds of peace is like sowing beans...You don't know how it works, you just know it does. You plant by faith! We are fed by the farmer,,,and by the preachers,,, the very same way,, have you ever thought about that?
Don't forget the principle...never under-estimate the power of a seed planted,,,, by both....

Prayer Request: Mary Lee's mother in law,, who was taken to Columbus Hospital, yesterday for emergency bladder surgery,,pray all goes well, and she also gets well..

ARMED,,,DEVIL BEWARE!

Yes, I am armed, and I am on the hunt,, the hunt for satan, & all his followers...to hunt them down in what-ever form they decide this day to use...I am sworn to my commander-in-chief,,, God,,and His top General,,called, "The Savior",, named Jesus, to do my utmost to provide testimony, and be an example, and stand tall under attack,,and let His word prevail,,, over all...
I am armed with a Bible(His word), His conviction of love, safety from sin and satan,with only faith as my shield.. and both, God and the Son within , and surrounded by Their love...
I ask all,, will you pick up your sword,,go on this hunt with me? FRIDAY! After today's work , Y'all will have arrived! Yes, I said y'all , for I felt like everyone took the same person along with them that I did and did not slid to this w/e alone! This is one time I also pray for no replies, which means all took Him with them!

I ask all to fall down upon their knees this day.. and not fall through the hole of the devil... for he has made so many trip places to make you fall...and when you fall for him,, there is no hand nor foot catches..to grab hold of..only tunnel like whir-wind fall,,,down, down,,hotter and hotter as you fall..BUT their is one way to avoid these "devil traps"...and that is to fall first to your knees,, accept Jesus as your Savior,, God as your ONLY God. WEDNESDAY! Yep, you guessed it! Climb aboard! It's Hump Day , and the slide is waxed for you, by you for your slide right into the week-end! Now as to the friction of that slide, and the smooth-ness of it,, is what you have planned for,, and with whom.. and who you slide with. You know some slides have waves in them as you travel down,, some have one, some two.. and some are straight and smooth! Which ever one you pick,, or it picks you,,, if you slide with Jesus at your side,, trust me,,, it will be a decision in which , at the end of the slide, and to the W/E, trust me, it will be one that you will have a smile as you coast to the end , and solid ground to step upon as you continue your quest of the w/e..make a good choice,, a lasting choice,, not one of ice, that melts with friction,, but make with Jesus, for He is as solid as stone!



UPDATE: On Me... The Doctor looked,, decided to clean , keep it just as the ER Team had done putting it back together, for one week, then re-look, and make the final decision as to the "growing" status..It is sore,,throbs at times,, but what is one to think it would be after you buzz saw it... just a little humor, for I am very fortunate not to have been any worst, and I am thankful to my Lord, Please pray for healing, and quick time to be back to that "cross" making, & thanks for all the prayers thus far!

Prayer Request: This morning,, for me,, who did a dumb thing yesterday while making crosses for "The Cross" Ministry. I tired to run my thumb through my table saw..tore it up bad, but will survive,, they just sewed it back together ,after x-rays,,in ER,,, temporary,,, Got to go to orthopedic specialist doctor today for final outcome of what to do with it..Please say a prayer for the doctors decision and guiding eye this day.

HE IS HERE,, AND YES, HE IS REAL, AND LIVING!

We, as a nation,, tend to take things for granite...such as running water, food, warmth, sunshine, sleep, and work,, a good crop of life... but do we ever really stop and think just where all this came from? Can you with your eyes closed ,, see this earth,, void of all,,, no life, no light, no seas, no mountains, not a breathing thing... and then in only six days it is all here.. and no where else of our knowing is there any of this anywhere. Now imagine one other thing,, the smile on God's face as He looked and seen what a magnificent thing He had made,, even thought He is God,, He was delighted in His doing!,,, Now last but not least,,, imagine, He is looking at it now..is HE as happy , as when He made it? Yes, I agree...there is probably a tear or two streaming down His cheek.
So, I think it is time,, we stop ,,, and give the praises back , of what He has given us,,, His all.. and we to Him?,, just a glancing look, and nod. Not enough,, we need to do more.. so do it.....for He is not an idol,, but my God is a living and real God... and He wants to hear our words and signs of our love back to Him , before asking for something else bigger than this world...

EASY?

Is it easy being a Christian? No! Why,, I believe it is two things,, one,,,we don't have the amount of faith to just waltz through this life... if we did, it would be like falling off a log!,, two,, I believe "man" has given satan too much of a reign over this world.. How do we reverse this trend? First ,pray for strength, and He will give it to us, be a Christian up front, in public, and testify more and in public... and whether you like him or not,, but like the stand a young quarterback did on national t.v.,, stopped, knelled , bowed his head,, and continued to do it when the analyzes scold him, and laughed,, he still continued to do it..and I honor this young man... and like him ,,, other young people are turning to.. a real future,,,habit forming with a happy ending.. not the ending of a dark death from the substances of this world, but the future of sunshine by the one who made this world...
So, all in all,, not much this day, but in actually,, a lot, the call out to all who reads this,, to have and give "faith",, the faith of the testimony from your mouth to others,, public, and daily... not professing it is easy... but I do profess it!,,,, No matter how hard the climb, nor how high the cliffs,, I know my safety rope is tied to the one, the only real Savior of my life ,and yours.. Jesus!So will you join me in the quest to spread the word of God to all we see.. not matter how tiring it seems,, and I know, and you know, it will be rewarding,, but folks it will not be

SUNDAY! Now is the day.. to open those eyes, relax and do nothing that is called work! Unless the ox is in the ditch,, kick back, and enjoy the day of rest! He did, and told us to do the same.. so me,, hey at 70-.. don't take a lot of convincing,, that is why I believe I have a recliner.. but sometimes,, I feel like maybe all the other six days.. too many stay in those recliners of kick back on passing on the "WORD",, of the ONE , who gave them these other six days, just like He gave you today.. get the point? Do you feel it? Then show it! ALL SEVEN DAYS!

Prayer Request: Today, is the first time I can really recall, that I have asked for a prayer request for a church...but I had a couple come by yesterday, and we spent some hours together talking about God.. what a good time that was! They are starting up a new church, it is called "Open Range Cowboy Church", in relations to the same in Ellis Cty. Tx. , and these two said on their opening day,, they filled the little church with 100,,, and with no running water, no facilities,, only two small heaters,, praise be to God!

WASH MY MOUTH OUT!

When I was a child, I had my mouth washed out with soap by my mother, and it never hurt me.. but sure did teach me how to wag my tongue.. even though it took a lot of washing, and then later in life, the thoughts of her doing it.. If you have never had this pleasure,, believe me,, it was not refreshing..for usually,, after mouth washing... there was usually the switch treatment... but you know what,, my mother knew what was good for me, for she relied on the word of God,, not what the local sheriff or the goody two shoes of town thought.. she did what was right in raising her young-ins.. for none of the above showed to help her pick her cotton.... yes, and each time the church doors open,, she was there,, WITH, her children,,, each of them.. and she believed in the Lord. for we did not go there to be seen,, but to worship...
When I hear the words of young children in public places.. especially check out lines, or even in the aisles of a store, on the streets.. and the ages of 10 to 18,, are sometimes completely filthy... and now hold on to your seats.. I hear men, from that 18 to ...... using that same language, those same suggestive actions,, with all their friends hanging on, or their sweetie...all trying to impress the ones around them.. well, here is what I think,,, first ,their mother should have used more soap,, and maybe we need to take a rag, a bar of soap, and a little water bottle, and drag a few over and give them a mouth washing,, and we could then talk about it in jail... but ..... I guess,, and know,, at least we should comment to them,, just a word of , "I don't care to hear that language , in front of me , nor my family"..and also a word of "And neither does God!".
We need more God in our language,, our everyday language, quit buying these dirt songs, these dirt reading material, turn off the dirt on the computers, and start writing, singing, and posting, the good things,, that come out of our mouth.. and quit turning your head to avoid ,,, lets all start a "gargling of the Lords Word",,, and spit His words, and help spit the devil out of theior vocabulary! Will you speak up,, will you be with me in

WASHING OUT THE MOUTHS OF THOSE WHO USE THE DEVIL TO SPEAK!

WITH THE SOAP OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRISTS' WORD?

Lord, I pray that You give us the tools within our brains to fight those words of insult to You, that are used, not only in private, but in public. Give us the words to combat these. amen

FRIDAY! TGIF! Even retirees, rich, poor,, employed, unemployed...we all reach for this day,, the one before the week-end, why? I know for the employed,, but the rest,, maybe it is the idea of visitation time... or just can't get over the old, old days of manufacturing,, and the upcoming day of rest... I think , it really is the upcoming day of rest,, the time in which we get to celebrate our Lord in any way we choose... what about you.. your ideas of this leaning forward during the week , till evening time of this day,,, Friday?

Now , you must make a choice make a choice as to where you want to dwell, all the time... not a "temp" place , when you need or just decide to! understand?

THURSDAY! Open them eyes today, and and smile, then give God the praise of another great day,, for if He gives,, it is great! Praise God from which all comes.. accept it, for there is a reason.

Prayer Requests: We have a lot today,, so we need to spend some time on our knees,, oh you already do.. that is great, for I need to do a little double duty today!

Mary Lee: Cousin Tracy, who is having Kidney problems,, and her friend Amanda who is having trouble with her liver.. pray for the healing of both.

Continue to pray for Millie, who is still having a lots of pain, I talked to her early last night, and her pain is causing her some depression,, that is how bad that knee is hurting, so pray for relief of pain, and complete healing.

Danny Maddox, who is having Vertigo from a wreck,, and also, his body will not take and absorb iron through the stomach , this make him anemic,, please pray that it will start, and the IVs will not be necessary... and the he will get his steady feet back.

Charles, who is a friend of my Sister-in-Law, who is in the last stages of cancer.. Charles has been holding on, but barely,, please pray for my sister=in-law, Ruth , to have the strength to be by his side... and that God shows mercy on Charles at this time of his life..

A friend of mine, Brenda, who needs work, money, and cannot find work but that God is seeing her through ,,, may He find compassion on her, and give her the job , so she can stand alone as she wants so much..

Christine Hilley, who was in the hospital, very sick,,, out now,, please pray for her to continue to heal, and keep giving.. for she give more than she takes. Welcome home Christine , late, but welcome, and we are praying..

DON'T GIVE UP!

The God of surprises strikes again.. somewhere, beside you, around you, maybe you! God does that for the faithful.. so have faith,, no matter the time frame, for God will arrive,, on His time- table, not ours.. for He knows best!

Just when the womb gets to old for babies,,, Sara gets pregnant. Just when the failure is too great for grace, David is pardoned... when the world is dying in sin,, God sent His Son, for all.

The lesson? Three words,, DON'T GIVE UP! God is watching, for all you know... right at this moment... hey,,, the check may be in the mail. the job contract may be on the desk, the healing may be started, the pain , started to diminish,, slow, but diminish, the healing has started. or about to.. so DON'T QUIT FAITH! For if you do,, you may miss the answer to your prayers... God is closer than you think, God is working when you don't think He is,,, so ,,, keep that faith,, spend time on your knees talking to Him, for He listens to all.. and think , you could be next.. on that list of complete healing... so

DON'T GIVE UP! EVER!

God, I pray this prayer this morning, for you to intervene in the lives of all mentioned in the prayer request today.. work your miracles.. for you are the"miracle worker" of all,, the healing Doctor of all physicians ... the God of our lives, the faith of our eternity,, the giver of good when our faith is shown... I complain of several pains , and aches, not able to do a ten hour day hard work, but I look, and I am so blessed.. when we think the worst is in us,, we need to just to stop, and count the blessings that we do have.. is you do this, don't plan anything for a long time.. for your list of blessings ,,,,,, is that long...believe me...

REDORATION!

WEDNESDAY! The ole "hump" day,, the middle of this week! As I have said many,many times,, plan for the next days of your slide from here to the weekend,, and make sure you sand this wooden slide of days, and of life.. so you don't have to worry about splinters in the backside of your life,, when you get to the week-end, or the judgment... it's a lot better to sit down,,if you have slid on a sanded slide.. than that old rough cut ones.. & one could buy an aluminum one,, but they also get pitted and can have little sharp points, on them.. I know , the best way to slide free of splinters, is to the "splinter proof slide of life" with the one and the only one that can guarantee a splinter free slide ,, and that my friends is Jesus Christ,, the slide of a lifetime...He's my slide for the day,, and this life,,,who are you going to slide through this day, and life with?

Prayer Request: Many,, of those who are hurting,, fallen down in life's pathway, needs warmth, food, shelter, and most of all love,, from us, and our prayers to our Lord , for them, not us.. be brave, be faithful,,, no matter the turmoil... keep God, and Jesus in your heart,,, he will see you through it, this is my prayer, and my prayer request to all today.. will you pray with me for these things?

Remodeling of the heart is not always pleasant. We don't object when the Carpenter ,,adds a few shelves.. but He's been know to gut the entire west wing! Wow! What a change! He has such high aspirations for you... He wants you to be just like Jesus!

Up and atta 'em ,,,this very cold morning here in Yatesville, Georgia,, it 30 degrees here,, and I know it's cold in other places,, probably lower north of here, and warmer down there in Fla. also...but all warmed up, when I heard two things this morning.... my wife coming down the hall way,, uttering something, that I finally interpreted ,,, it's cold and is the coffee ready? Heaters red with heat, coffee was just about ready to pour,, and it was just about to turn to 4:45 a.m. God is good,, to give us a time of bonding, even as we wake ,, to start the day,,, with Him,, I said WITH HIM! Now who was you going out in this cold with,, this day? Here , take Jesus with you,,,for that real warmth,, an everlasting warmth,, as you brave the elements of your area,,, where ever you are, God Bless You All !

We worry. We worry about IRS and the SAt and the FBI ... We worry that we won't have enough money, and when we have money, we worry that we won't manage it well. Honestly, now , would He teach you to walk , just to watch you fall? Would He be nailed to the Cross for your sins and then disregard your prayers?
come on,,,, is scripture teasing us when it reads... "He has put His angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go" Psalm 91:11?

WHO IS IN CHARGE?

MONDAY! GOOD MORNING! Today is bowl day,, or is it all week this year? I just can't figure, and the Rose Parade,, today too?.. I guess it is true,, if a Holiday falls on Sunday, then it is celebrated on Monday! It just will not be the same,, to set around on the second day of January and watch the Rose Parade and bowl games.. but you know,, that is the way things is going on in our capital also,, a day late and "dollars "short!,, just had to add that.. but today is one thing for sure, and that is that I awoke with Jesus at my side, and every day, and every night , will He be there by my request,, and it does not matter if it is a holiday,, or the Monday following that holiday.. we, Jesus and I, will be side by side.. who is that at your side?

Prayer Request: For Millie... she is in terrible pain from her surgery,, almost unbearable.. but she is still up and going to therapy... please pray,, that this pain subsides, and complete healing will take place.. prayer can be the best pain killer we know, so let's give her an overdose on this one.. will you ?

WHO IS IN CHARGE?

Of our nation,,, as I write this, and who will be in charge of it after the election? So much money is spent on going into the highest office of the world.. and the offices of those so called "for the people",, also elected officials.. that this money spent,, could feed the world that is starving , starting with their own nation, THEN all the others who will still have us.. Did you read that part,, still have us?
Yes, we are going to the socialist control of government right under our noses.. and if you say too much,, it could cost you,, your life, your freedom, your scarred friends, your butt kissing friends of those in office who are waiting of their so called crumbs to be thrown at them... now, a question in this out-cry,, who are you? It is a cry for all to stand, and stand tall for God and Country! Are you one of the still Free Americans, or are you folding? Are you careful what you say over the phone, write on emails, leave on someones message machine,, walk in the open carrying an American Flag, or even fly one, for it might not be political correct.. nor even put a small wooden cross in your yard? Yes , I have had plenty of re-course on the giving out of these crosses.. but you know what,, I still do, and will continue to do so.. no matter what "these " "in chargers" say or do... against our freedoms.. or the tearing down of our government with all the greed of a vulture tearing at the flesh of their own kind,, Now for the answer to my question of WHO IS REALLY IN CHARGE , of our country. our world,, it is by and will be , always, GOD ALMIGHTY,, and our fate is in His hands as WE pray, and that means , those in office, sincerely praying from the heart for all others , rather than themselves,,
Now , it is time for all of us to get on our knees,, pray for the preservation of our forefathers,, their wishes, their fighting and their dying for,,, for this nations freedom, and not for us winning the lottery!

$45 HOUSE PAYMENT,, THE PLANTING A GARDEN, A MILE SQUARE ,JUST TO CULTIVATE AND PICK, PREPARE BY CANNING,,,JUST TO FEED THOSE FIVE HUNGRY KIDS,, THAT COULD EAT A BUSHEL BASKET,, EVERY DAY...AND COOKING IT MOM ON A WOOD STOVE, OLDER BOYS CUT THE WOOD,, TO COOK AND WARM US,,AND DAD, Y OU TAUGHT US ALL THE LESSONS OF WORK,, WITH PRIDE.. AND THEN WORRYING IF THOSE OLE JUNKIE CARS , THAT WE THOUGHT WERE CADILLACS,, WOULD RUN, MUCH LESS TAKE US TO TOWN, OR TO GEORGIA TO VISIT GRANDMA,,FROM THAT LITTLE OLE FARM..AND BACK...
