GOD IS REAL AND HERE!

SATURDAY! Good morning all!! I have awoken at 4 a.m. and had my coffee, and am now ready for anything,,, well to tell the truth,, almost anything,, well, really nothing, just having some fun, for I am so full of the Lord today, that I might explode! Ha! and as big as I am, look out ,, hide , cover up!!! Yes, God wants us to have fun in our lives, but be serious and respectfully to Him, ,and to His Son, Jesus! I had a great story of my bout with diabetes, of how it occurred, how I accepted it, and how God used it for His own! And then I thought of it, prayed to Him that I had nothing to write this morning,,, and then it came to me, HE HAD JUST GAVE IT TO ME! I CONTRACTED DIABETES,, GOD HAS NOT GIVEN THE CURE YET... HE SHOWED ME HE WAS GOD,, BY SHOWING ME OF THE MEDICINES USED TO CONTROL IT, AND HOW HE WAS IN CHARGE, THAT IF I LIVED BY THESE MEDICINES ONLY, I WOULD DIE IN THIS WORLD,,,,FOR IT TOOK NOT THE MEDICINES HE HAD MAN MAKE, BUT THE USE OF THEM, AND THE GOOD SENSE TO KNOW OF THE CONDITION, AND THAT IT TOOK THE FAITH , THAT HE IS SAYING, "I WILL GIVE THESE TO YOU,, BUT YOU MUST ALSO DO SOME YOURSELF,,, LIKE , LOOK AT WHAT YOU EAT, AND HOW YOU EXERCISE"... So ,, to me,, this is saying , with all that man can do, can give, life is only as He(God) tells you, shows you and to get this life???? and that IS TO LISTEN TO HIM! DO YOU HEAR ME? God, thank You, for You always come through for me, in Your way, and not mine! amen John HIcks See,, how He says, "WHAT?" "You said you don't have anything to write?",, "yu prayed to me for something?" "Boy,, you will just never learn!" Praise unto the one , the only God! Now , believe it or not, your choice!

TRIBUTE TO A CHRISTIAN VETERAN OF THE USA!

WEDNESDAY! Good morning to all! I pray that you made your choice today, and it was to have God beside you, by your own request.... and that you have made the decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior...you believe all of the above, and that you practice as best as you can, and love , love, for love is the best medicine for all! Prayer of Mourning: Our Christian Vietnam, Veteran, that served for our freedom, contracted agent orange, had the tumor in his chest, was moved to hospice, and died less than a day or two...Mr. Mike Owens! I am in mourning , not for that he is dead, but that it took another Veteran, another Christian to take this man, and try to give him the best of his last days here, for all else turned their backs, and I mention no name of this other vet... for that is what he would want! I cry "VICTORY" for Mister Owens, for his statement was right up to the last, He had accepted Jesus, and he was prepared,,,, and that is something that all cannot say! so , this morning is dedicated to this one man, who not only served his country, unconditional, and it still caused his death here on this earth, while we live out ours with freedom.. but that even knowing all the addictions of pain of this disease and all else he suffered from internally, he did the one thing that I challenge all to do this day, is to do as he did, right up until death, here and that was to CRY OUT!!!! I AM READY, YES READY TO MEET MY MASTER, FOR ALL THAT IS WRONG WITH ME NOW,,,, OUTSIDE AND INSIDE....... I HAVE ACCEPTED MY LORD, AND I AM READY!! Can you say this, could you be this brave on your death bed,, well could you..so today let us remember this man and make this day A USA VETERAN, MISTER OWENS DAY! God., you received a good man, thank You for him. amen\ John HIcks Servant to God! Today is "Therapy Day" for Libby, and I pray it is as good as previous, for she is getting better and better! SAD NEWS: The missing couple found, and found dead! Such a waste, but God knows best, doubt Him not, even if I am sad of the outcome! I write as I feel that God gives me to write, even lots are very doubtful of this, but that is not what matters,,, it is "doing work for God ,,, is always, good,, and it is always right"! So today, as at a lot of times, I have to pray and pray hard for continued writing of these thoughts,, for since 2007, I have only missed one week, and a few days,, not God's failings , but mine.. all the days and years, His, not mine! and today I must say, I have to really pray that He will continue to give me the "good news",,,, and whether some like or like not ,, well that is their choice.... for I say, and I write what I think God tells me to write... and today I will only say this , and it is very simple, and I believe this with all my heart, and if you feel I am wrong about this, you can send me an email ,, or as I have been putting it on FB,, you can comment..... for that also is your choice! I don't want to brag because it will start whit intense pain again. Trust me, they have me well medicated too, and I stay sleepy all of the time but I will take sleepy over pain any day!!! Also , the Dunaway Family of their lost! Prayer of Thanks: For God's healing power on Libby's arm! She is in therapy, and it is going great, but she is so sore, she almost gets sick, but she goes without her Velcro cast a lot, by request of her therapist, and she is doing better every day!! Praise God, for we give HIM the credit of the recovery, and we never doubt of the why, that is His decision and we still love Him in any thing He decides! THE WORK IS ALSO OUT THERE IN THE FIELD! From my daily Bible reading,, which usually I read after the thoughts, but was led today to pick up that Bible and so it first, for this is what I feel should be sent out to the world!!!1 The Grandpa had his grandchildren at his house, and after waking at 5 a.m., they all had to feed the animals for the morning,, then at 6 a.m. they had homemade biscuits, eggs, and all the b'frast trimmings. Then when this was finished,, Grandpa said this: THE WORK IS NOW DONE WITH OUR CHORES AT HOME! BUT... THE WORK IS OUT THERE IN THE FIELD!!! YES, CHRISTIANS , WE DO OUR THINGS AT HOME , INSIDE OF THE CHURCH, OR IN ALL OUR OTHER FELLOWSHIPS, BUT WE NEED TO REMEMBER... THE WORK IN THE FIELD!! ARE WE WORKING THE FIELD? OR JUST OURSELVES? Lord, I ask that we all and especially me, will not only worship you at home, church, but get out there in the field and plant the seeds of Jesus ,, our Salvation! amen John HIcks Not bragging,, but every chance I get,, I ask people to take one of those little a8 inch white crosses and put one in their yard, that is what I love ..and that I know is pleasing to God! and no, I am not trying to sound like I am making you or anyone feel like they are being bad by not doing this, I am just offering in His Name, and YOU must make that choice, of yes or no!!! Train Ride From Birth Until!

It is here, now,, so who did you ask to be with you first and foremost? Your choice! Today I want to post some-thing a really good friend of mine, Lori,,, sent me.. remember the "Gospel Train" I am always hollering, ALL ABOARD, AND JESUS IS THE CONDUCTOR AND THE ENGINEER, TRACK HEADED TO HEAVEN? Well ,, this is right along with it.. At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel on our side. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone. As time goes by, other people will board the train; and they will be significant i.e. our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of your life. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum. Others will go so unnoticed that we don't realize they vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves. The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So, we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are. It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life. I wish you a joyful journey on the train of life. Reap success and give lots of love. More importantly, thank God for the journey. Yes, from loving Sisters, Mothers, Dads, Brothers, friends,, straight , gay, no matter the way of a person, but the purest love of the person.. THINK: Did Jesus love only those close ones at the Cross, His disciples,,,only? NO! NO!,, for Jesus loved , even the soldier who had beat Him while carrying the Cross, the one who nailed the spikes, the ones who cheered "CRUCIFY HIM,, CRUCIFY HIM! YES HE LOVED THEM ALL, AND HE LOVES US ALL TODAY, BELIEVE THIS, AND ACCEPT HIM! and be free from satan... I DECLARE TO ALL , I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! God, I do ask for special prayers this day, for little Hayden Hayes,,,,Kristy and Jeff's Hayes son, who is having his tonsils taken out this very morning! Instead of watching footballs fly, 17 million viewers chose to watch the season premiere of The Walking Dead, a series featuring foul zombies creating endless havoc. Just a few weeks later, nearly 15 million people tuned in to yet another episode, easily surpassing that night’s matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. That program is just one of numerous television programs that have garnered tremendous followings by fixating on gore and death. At least half a dozen prime time shows are strangely enamored and captivated by it. These shows, when combined with hugely popular video games like Mortal Kombat, demonstrate how obsessed with death our culture has become. However, despite our society’s fascination and obsession with death, there is virtually no understanding of the eternal consequences that death brings. Amazingly, as much as the entertainment industry cranks out movies and programs that are preoccupied with death scenes and motifs, death is not a subject often candidly discussed. I think that’s because we would prefer to portray death on a purely fictional level and avoid its stark reality. The Bible says that once a person dies, he will face the judgment of God. “It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). There is no reincarnation. There is no second chance. Death is serious, eternal business. Once our physical hearts beat for the last time, we will instantly find ourselves either in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in all His splendor, or in the pit of hell away from His presence. “They [those who do not know or obey God] will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might, when He [Jesus Christ] comes on that day to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed” (2 Thessalonians 1:9-10). Death is not a fictional television series. It is not a popular gaming topic. It is the entryway into either eternal life or eternal death. And a culture that treats it as mere fantasy and amusing entertainment does so at its peril. The Scripture is clear that death is a consequence of sin. It came as a result of mankind’s rebellion against God in the Garden. Adam and Eve were fully warned of what would happen if they chose to disobey God’s instruction not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil: “In the day that you eat of it you will surely die” (Genesis 2:17). We all know what happened. Man rebelled, chose to disobey God, and the sentence of death was pronounced. Physical, biological death became dead certain for every person who has ever lived. Great men die. Obscure men die. Rich men and poor men alike die. “Sin came into the world through one man (Adam) and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12). Death, ultimately, has nothing to do with health or climate or geography or genes. Sin brought death, physically and spiritually. That’s why the Scripture speaks of two deaths (Revelation 20:14). The first death is when our bodies expire. The second death is the eternal death of the soul. The glorious good news of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ, who died and rose again, has alone defeated the dread enemy of death. Jesus, the Son of God, our Redeemer and Savior, bore our sins on the cross, suffered the punishment of our sins—death—on our behalf, and offers full forgiveness for all who trust personally in Him. As A.W. Tozer once remarked: “The once born die twice, and the twice born die once.” That is, those who have not repented of sin and turned to Christ will experience both physical and spiritual death. They will be judged by a holy God, found guilty of their sin and cast into the lake of fire. The person who has trusted in Christ for the forgiveness of sin will die physically, but not spiritually—his sins are atoned for by the blood of Christ. The wages of sin is death, but God’s gift of eternal life is free to all who believe on His Name (Romans 6:23). Everyone who believes in Christ is transferred from death to life (John 5:24). No one who believes in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ will perish (experience the second death), but will have everlasting life (John 3:16). Wherever Christianity flourishes, there is a vibrant culture of life, not death. When the precepts of the Christian faith are faithfully taught and followed, there is an abundance of selfless, sacrificial living and giving. For centuries, Christians have been at the forefront of saving and giving life. Mission hospitals around the world are beacons of light and hope in sin-sick cultures. Christian physicians, nurses and health care providers often forsake lucrative careers and even risk their lives to reach the poor and suffering. Churches around the world feed the hungry, clothe the naked and bring help to the helpless and hope to the hopeless. In places like Europe, where Christianity has been in decline as the deceptive forces of secularism and materialism have spread across the continent, it’s not surprising to find the practice of euthanasia so entrenched. Earlier this year, Belgium became the first country in the world to allow child euthanasia with no age limit. I’m concerned that America is not far behind. The euthanasia movement—disguised now as “death with dignity”—is gaining ground in a number of states. And for every 1,000 live births in the United States, 219 pregnancies end with a murdered child, through abortion. I don’t think there’s any doubt that this rise in the culture of death in our own country coincides with the embrace of an immoral, sinful, godless worldview that rejects Christ. Christianity is constantly under siege from the halls of government and education, which seek to suppress any public expressions of faith. Yet bold, biblical Christianity is the only antidote to the devilish, dark culture of sin and death that seeks to enslave and ultimately damn people for eternity. We must never cease to preach, teach and live the truth of the Gospel. Prayer Requests: For Martha Stone, who is suffering from severe hip pain, and has been told rest at home, and the first of Feb. she will have surgery,,, Martha is one of God's biggest helpers,, in being a "warrior " of His, is taking the message to all she sees and I mean taking it ,,, she goes thousand of thousands of miles a year,, , so pray all goes well, pain ceases, and she will be back in that truck soon, delivering the word of God!!! For a special person to me,,, that God will enter their body, and heal them from all ailments, and especially that God heals this anonymous person by allowing that person to defeat depression and have peace. DO YOU HEAR IT? We ask a lot of times,, why did God let that storm hit those people, why did He take those lives, why did He take that one so young, why did He let this , and that happen??? IF He loves us? Well here is my take on this.....and as usual , it is my opinion that I prayed over this morning so here goes as He,, I believe guided me to write, believe it or not!... God does love us all,, for He made us, and if He had not loved us, then He would not have done this... as for those destroyed in abortion, I am here to tell you that He is there to grab that little one, for conception is life.. but He is there to save this little one, and also there to judge that one who decided to do this terrible thing... for the storms, it is a way, to tell us of just how strong He is, and how powerful He can be!...Thank of lighting , how much, and how many are just popped here and there, thousands upon thousands in one storm,,and go from cloud to ground, He is showing His might... and at times, in some places it is like He is showing us ,,, He can clean our houses(us),,, for when we let our house fill with crap, and mold, (that represents sin to this example),, we clean it,, we live,,,, or we live in it and die a terrible death of infections of all sorts!!! We need to keep our house in order at all times!!!!! I say, as we get up and listen real hard,,,,, and we hear the world...now listen, and listen with caution,,,the groaning, the growling on our streets, on the screens of our T.V.s,,,,, on the screens of our computers, phones or other devices, then listen and listen close ,,, for all those groans and growls, it is God walking up and down them ,, AND ,,, when the day comes, and you wake up and listen to the streets, and all these other devices,, and you don't hear these groans, and growls,, then God has COME, AND CLEANED THIS EARTH UP COMPLETELY ,,,, AND YOU HAVE WOKE UP IN,,, HEAVEN,,, AND IF YOU DO HEAR THE GROANS, GROWLS, SCREAMING, THEN GOD HAS COME,,, AND YOU HAVE WOKE UP IN HELL!! So folks, it is time ,,,, that we all spend more time with our heads bowed, worshiping the REAL GOD!,, asking for His directions, and living for Him, and cleaning up our own homes,, and to be ready to hear the silence,, rather than the noise,, how are you this morning , with your hearing? Ready or Not? God , be with us all, give us the insight to make the real decision of You, over all else...amen John HIcks WOW! Please pray for comfort to Jim and the family, and that God will touch Him and favor Him in a very personal way! For all in need of Him today,, those who are in pain, and are in a place that is not good, those so sick, those who are lost to Him, and do not know Jesus, and for the ones who do know Him,,,, that all the above will receive His blessing in turning all around to Him and place their eternal future in His hands... pray, pray, and never cease!!!!! Good morning to all..had my prayer of thanks to my God, had my coffee with my wife, and Pug,,, in the "HUT",,, have a smile on my face, for I am sooo lucky to be blessed as I am!!!!!,,, So today, let's just make it short today, and say this, it is like many, many more I have put out before with the help of my Lord!!! THURSDAY! Good morning,,, I pray you woke up, and thanked your God for the day, and the good night you just enjoyed..and that you asked Him to be with you through the day! I write lots of things, that I don't know why, EXCEPT HE knows, and I still claim this.. but today for some reason, about some days ago, while my daughter and husband and their family was having a really bad experience with plumbing, and mental stability was one of only God could keep them all from screaming, from the mess,,, and as we arrived , the plumber came, and all was fixed,,, cleaning was ready to start, we all was exhausted ,,, and the oldest son, Noah, just looked over at me, and even thought I know this song, my wife knows it word for word,, and in all of this he, just said, this,,,Paw Paw,, smile really big, (and then went on to sing this, and his Giggi (grandmother joined in) and OUT OF "BABES", WHEN ALL ELSE SEEMS DOOMED, GOD IS SPEAKING THRU THESE BABES, AND I BELIEVE THIS..FOR RIGHT THEN AFTER HE ADDRESSED ME,, HE BLASTED THIS OUT!!!! HUMP DAY!

WEDNESDAY! Well , here it is again for the working, or for just planning the week-end,, it is the ole "camel hump day"! We started our planning off with a "Good morning God, thank You for this day, our awaking, our sleeping, and we ask You to please join us in all we do this day, and the rest of the days of our lives." Now that we have put Him in charge, as we all know He is already in charge, it is just have we ask for Him to be with us by request, for He stands at the side of all... just waiting, for He gave all that one thing...CHOICE! The question is , have you used your choice wisely? Think about it,, and your w/es' , and each of your days will come about to be His,, if you ask and talk to Him daily!! And folks that is my opinion, and I got it from His word, and it came from a book called The Bible! Have you read it lately, it is the best seller of all times, and has the best stories of all different things of the times of long ago, and those times are even related to this present day,,,and folks , guess what,, THEY ARE ALL TRUE STORIES! We get enough fiction from "so called Christians" on the news, Facebook, emails, phone calls, and well,,, that is all the cyber space junk I can connect to... lol... I am not judging ,, or maybe I am... being opinionated may be judging, but oh well, I will keep my opinions, and let God decide on the judging or not.. but we have enough on all of the above ,, if WE, and I include ME, would do as we see and read,,,,, we would be thin, healthy, in good shape, very Christian,,and no flaws, but there is thousands upon thousands of this and that,, and I read, laugh, cry, really ponder some in my heart, and really, really pray for some of the things I read,, but all in all, this is where this is going today,,,,, ARE YOU READY FOR IT???????? IF YOU TALK TO GOD EVERY DAY, ASK HIM TO BE WITH YOU IN ALL YOU DO, THEN ALL YOU DO,,,,,,, WILL BE HIS! Now, if you do the above, it does not mean ,,, that it will be exactly what you want, need, or ask for,,,, BUT, WHAT HE HAS IN-STORE FOR YOU, ME AND THIS WORLD, SO TALK, OR PRAY,,, OR WHATEVER YOU WANT TO CALL IT.. BUT DO IT WITH THIS, "FAITH, THAT HE IS GOD, AND KNOWS BEST FOR US ALL"...so now , have a blessed day! Prayers Today: For all those sick, in need, and for all those who showed up and stood up, and marched for that "Fire Chief",,, for as all we hear and see are mostly about the Al's and the Jessie's and the wrongs,,, SO THANK GOD , WE HAD SOME THAT DID PUBLICLY STAND UP AND WAS COUNTED for the defense of "HIS(GODS) WORD" against homosexuality.. TUESDAY! Good morning to all of you this great day,, and I pray you woke up thanking God for another day of His, given to each of us as a gift! When have you ever gotten a better gift other than the Birth, & the Resurrection? The gift of Jesus to us,, and for God to give us, HIS ONLY SON,, yes give Him to us,,, and the choice to ask for His saving power by accepting Him as our Personal Savior,,,,,OH MY,,, WHAT A GIFT OF GIFTS! Today, I have a lot on the brain, (what little I have,) and am pondering on all this that I feel God sends to us at times to think about, and also what to say, and how to, and where, and when to say it.... so this morning I want to just send to all of you a prayer from "Bible Quotes" that I liked,,, and for now, I will listen, and I will talk to the Lord, as I go about my business of this day,,,,, and YES, I say to all of you, your choice ,,but you need to do the same.. judging ? YOU BET ! Let us pray: Father God in the name of Jesus, we come to you knowing that you are the lover of our souls, and knowing that only you have the power to work in ways that are unimaginable to us. God we ask that those times when we stray from your word, you pull us back in your arms and hold us tight. Lord, please help to keep us focused as we continue to push forward and walk upright. For those who are in situations that seem hopeless, we ask that you cover them, speak to them, show them that no matter what, your word is the final word, and that nothing is over until you say it is. Lord, as we wake up each morning, we ask that you renew our spirit, our strength and our faith in you. Father, we know that when praises go up, blessings come down, and we will continue to seek you, and put you above all things. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen. WHO DO YOU WORSHIP? MAKE A CHOICE, NOW!

MONDAY! Today, I awake, after going to sleep , thanking my God for my all... and one of the main things of importance, and at the top of my list is that my Grand-daughter, Carley Ann Franklin,, walked publicly down the aisle, and accepted Jesus Christ as Her own and personal Savior!! HALLELUJAH!!! My younger grand-daughter has already made her walk, and folks, to Grandparents, just as when it was your children,, this is the GREATEST THING in this whole wide world to you!! Thank You God, and to Carley,,,,I know that Jesus is jumping higher as you do in gym for you accepting Him!!! We love you so very, very much!!!! AND WHO DO YOU WORSHIP? God did make you! There is no doubt there! Now , I read of how many of our celebrities of Hollywood, are active and professed of the Muslim faith,,, and all of you know that this faith does exclude us, Christians , from their belief, and yes, we do exclude their "belief" from ours...and today , I declare mine,, the belief in a Living God, His Son , Jesus Christ, as my only God, and the Son, as my only way to God, and Heaven, and all that one could ever want, awaits them in my God's Heaven!! Now, it is time to ask all of you to make your decisions... and to speak up for our God, maker of all,,,, for this same God can take it away just as quick as He made it,, and really, quicker,, for in just a second, He can destroy us all,, for He is a jealous God, and loves us more than anything else ..... can you combine these two things? Also,,, how many of you read, and really digest it,, testify of Him.. or are you , well just here for the ride,,, and then let things happen as they will.... for it is your choice... and only yours.. SO ....WHY DON'T YOU MAKE IT???? GOD OR SATAN,, FOR THERE ARE ONLY TWO CHOICES! God, thank You for my all,,, for without You ,, I would have nothing of value! amen John HIcks Servant Only! SUNDAY! Yes, the Lords' day! As they all are, this one is the day He rested after building all these things we are enjoying so much! Right? Do you believe in God? Do you believe that God made this world? Do you believe that He made us, and we did not evolve from monkeys?(for if we did, why are there still monkeys?) Do you believe that one day, you will be judged by Almighty God, and the only way to stay in Heaven is by accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior, and that He, Jesus is the only way to Him, and Heaven, to stay? Lots of questions today,, and YOU must give the answers! YES ,,you! Last night we watched the movie ,, Left Behind. It was a good movie, and the one thing that I did notice that the writer of this "movie" did show.. was,,,, that of how long it took people to realize that God had come,,, that we have been told of this all of our lives.. and when it happened,, no one said it was God,, and the rapture,, until a drug addict said, "I know what is happening! It is God!"....maybe that was not exact ,,, but close,, and what I am saying this morning,,,, are we ,,,and I mean really ,,, are we ready?????? If this happened today, and one of us is left behind, would we fall to our knees instantly, and plead to God for forgiveness, and have mercy upon us,, or would we be one of those who would say, "maybe it was aliens!".. Yes we must be ready,,, for this was a movie, but Jesus did say this....... NO ONE KNOWS THE TIME, BUT MY FATHER IN HEAVEN! SO IF YOU HAVE NOT ACCEPTED JESUS, PLEASE DO, AND BE PREPARED! FRIDAY! TGED! I still am in love with these initials sent to me by my friend Perry Livingston! We,,,and I include myself in this "we",, do not call on our Lord as we should...am I being judgmental? You bet I am!! For IF we were being like we should be ,,, as God demands us to be... we would not be worried about inflation, or anything else but pleasing Him... for He does tell us, IF HE TAKES CARE OF THE SPARROW!!!!..AND WE ARE MORE PRECIOUS TO HIM THAN THE SPARROW,, THEN WHY DO WE WORRY?,,maybe not exactly correct on the way He said it,, (and that is why I put this part in, no reason for anyone to hit me back with "it is not exactly right"),,, but that is the whole story this morning,,,, WHAT IS EXACTLY RIGHT, AND WHAT IS NOT EXACTLY RIGHT? I,,,, WE,, all need to STOP! Review not our lives, but our ways!,, Change maybe,, I don't know, for I only know my own.. so this life , mine is the only one I can judge,,,so you see, it is up to YOU,,, for the one thing God did give each of us was OUR OWN CHOICE! Now that choice of HOW!!!! Is up to YOU! Lord, I ask continued help in the warmth of those cold, those sick, those with impossible things that only YOU can change,, and I ask for You to forgive as You see fit,,, for I ask for all,,,, amen John HIcks Some mornings ,,,, the words are at times confused as they are written, and it seems strange to me also... but as I re-read each and every time,,, I light up,,, and I see the light... no I am no one special,, to this world, but I am special to my God!! THURSDAY! First , Good Morning to all!! Thank God first,,,, for all for our all this day, as we open our eyes from His care through the night! Now,, let's all bow our heads, pray for those who are cold this very morning, and do not have the means to get warm, have shelter, clothing to keep their bodied warm as we all have in our comfortable homes.. for if you have never been out there in the wet, cold trenches of this type weather ,,,,, you thank you know, but not really..and my heart goes out to those there,,, and I pray , and I again ask each of you to pray with me, that if God needs to take from us to give to them, then let it happen...will you pray this with me? God, take care of those in need of heat this cold day of Yours, and Lord give them warmth, and take from me if You choose to warm these cold souls... and God I thank You for my all,,, for You are the caretaker of us all,,,, there are none bigger, richer, poorer, smarter, more important in Your eyes,,, for we are all the same.. .let us all know this as we pray humbly to You,,,again,, Thank You God, for my all!!!! Prayer Request: Please pray for Dick Hardy, who live just outside of Yatesville,, as He fights colon cancer,,,, and pray that our God will touch Him and heal him! WEDNESDAY! Burr! Run camel run!! Find that heated room! It is cold here, and I pray that those without heat, a place to get warm & will find a place to stay...if you see a homeless... get that person a big coat,, or a warm place, a hot meal, or something hot to drink!!! Pass on YOUR blessings! As I woke up, and went to the "hut",, to pray and drink our coffee,,, we were warm, and I am only now asking God to protect those who are in need of warmth,,,as we,, who are blessed,,, don't think of this while we are ,,as we were,,, sitting in a warm place, with a hot cup of coffee..praying our thanks ,,,but forgetting to pray for that person under a bridge, in a ditch, in a vacant house, with not heat, a ragged, thin coat,,, AND WITH CHILDREN!,,, and we set on our sorry butts praying and thanking God for our own blessings ,,, and not including those in need,,,, we all need to thank God, YET we need to pray hard for those in need!!! Yes, I am confessing of being self-centered.. and I pray to God that I, and we all change and pray for those who need Him fo,,, for He has answered us, cared fior us,,,so let's ask Him to help them also,, and take away from us to cover them, can you do this??? ,,,,,,,, for if we pray, HE WILL ANSWER!!! This morning, I started to just not write a word, for nothing came to my mind,, I thought of all the things of yesterday, as I put a protection around a porch that my fat _____ could barely squeeze in.... and as Libby watched, and could not do much because of her arm,,, and as I was puffing, and had barely gotten out of the space.. I had one thing left to do, and that was put up a piece of wood to prop up the piece I had finally gotten up,,, , and I needed to put a screw in it,, and the the second one to hold it up... I turned to Libby and I said,, I need a third hand,,, God help me please,,,, and as I said this,,,, we witnessed this:!!! that small piece of board, as I it raised up , right into place and it held, for a good long time,, when I turned it loose ,, then I got a screw, and put it in!!! Then I said to Libby,, well , there He was, God was my third hand,,, we have these little things that happen, and we see, but we need to let People know, God works little things also.... not just the parting of the seas, and etc.. so look, ,listen, and pray, (or talk to Him), for He is always there! Now, as I finish this,, I can say, YES,, He does use my finger for testimony! Do you believe? or do you just think I am crazy,, for it does not matter, for I will not change my belief, nor my trust in Him!! Have a great day! John HIcks WOW! And a very, very good morning to all of you, and I pray , that as you asked God to be with you at the start of your day, that you also invite Him to be with you all through the day, and that you remember this,,,, as you open your mouth, and let your tongue wag!!!!,, THINK ABOUT THAT ASKING BEFORE YOU WAG! This is one of the hardest thing for us "humans " to do! AND,,, I am probably one of the worst!,,,,,, but I keep praying for God to guard my tongue on the negative, and keep me on the positive! It is hard to do ,,,, at times,,,for as you listen, read,,,,then you hear, and you see through a lot of things.. and am I like this, a choice the one listening or reading my thoughts, or talking to me, will have to make! Remember,,, only one can judge me, and all others,,,, and later in time we will all find out if we did right or we did not!!!! Think about this,, and then,,, maybe re-plan your schedule! Prayer Request: For that special person out there who needs God for healing, and pain, please pray for this special person! From Millie: Last night,,,just called Bonnie. She went home late last night. She was called sometime early this morning, Donald has taken a change for the worse. He was transferred to another room out of er. He has been diagnosed with the flu and a bad case of pneumonia. He is talking out of his head not knowing them or where he is part of the time. He is extremely sick. Bonnie sounds exhausted. She, herself, has been sick for a couple of weeks. Donald is very sick....... BUT I know that God is Able to do exceedingly above all that we could ever ask or think. Thank you very much. Lord, may all make a schedule of their life with you at the helm...at all times...amen John HIcks Sometimes, short is better than long! UNDAY! The day, God set aside to rest! And to work , only "if the ox is in the ditch", does one need to work on this day! You must make the decision of your "ox"! Work is viewed in so many ways , one must make his own decisions, and I have mine, and I change them sometimes to suit me,, so we all have our own "ox's! I just ask one thing , consult our God for all your "decisions"! Prayer Requests: for all those in need of God, in their special way, and their special needs! Pray for His will to be done first and foremost, then pray as you feel! ARE YOU BLESSED! Yes, we are! For we live in the most powerful , the most plush, the most food , the best of clothes,, in all the world...BUT,,, do you horde these riches, or do you help others, to have food, shelter, clothing, and to give to the service of His Churches, His Missions? Or, do you take your blessing, and keep them close to your heart, and plan to take them with you? The only thing you have that you can take with you to Heaven, is your soul!!! Remember that, and live with that on your mind ,, and only that! Yes , it is o.k. to have good things in this world. some more, some less... but only here,, don't think that all you have , build , or bank, will accompany you to the beyond!!! INEQUALITY?

FRIDAY! Good morning on the 2nd of this "New Year"! Today as I ask my God to walk and be with me in all I do, I want to make my comments short ,so you will read the following: The following is something Scot Mucher sent my nephew, Paul Hicks, who by the way is a "GOD CALLED PREACHER!".. and it goes like this, I hope all take the time to read and enjoy!!!! Inequality is a bogus concept. At what point in your life do you feel you've experienced equality... perfect equality? It doesn't happen. When we had to use a 5-gallon bucket for a bathroom and the neighbors were bringing us food so we'd have something to eat, they went home to a working restroom and a full pantry. That was unequal. When we were heating water on the stove for a bath and carrying it to the bathroom, that was unequal. Other children had hot-running water whenever they wanted. It was unequal when I couldn't get a job I wanted without a degree. Other people were being hired for that position. It was unequal when they served food to me in a restaurant that had a sign saying, "no shoes, no shirt, no service". Other folks had no shoes... and no money to eat in that restaurant. If you want to boil it down to race, yes, of course some have been overlooked for employment or housing because of their race... their sex... their looks... their hair... their height... their grammar... their weight... their disability... their demeanor. If we spend all our lives attempting to force others to conform to our specific circumstances we never grow, and we never make any true personal progress. Obstacles are meant to be overcome. When they are finally overcome they will quickly be replaced by other obstacles which are meant to be overcome, and so on, and so forth. Unfair? You bet. This, my friends is what we call "life". So, suck it up, buttercup. Work and fight and pray for what you believe in. Set your goals and do your best to overcome... NO guarantees. I would be a fool to argue there is no such thing as inequality. I would, instead argue that there is no such thing as equality. If you want to know what human attempts at equality look like, look up socialism. Or do a little study on communism. I'll take my chances with a little inequality.
