Just Listening!

Friday! TGIF- and every day! Get up and enjoy this Autum day, last day of September! Where did it go? Time flys by in a modern world.. or is that the older we get ,,, it seems that way? So, let's all slow down,, listen to the day,, and enjoy,, for if we listen real close, it will tell us a story we have not heard yet,, and then when life is gone for this day,, then another story for tomorrow.. and a big WOW on how great these stories are,, or can be!

Just Listening!

Sometimes we treat God with so much ,,, "I just take You for granted".I just sit, stand around,, with my mouth, my ears, my heart,, closed! I just stand and lean on a bare wall,, never letting Him lean back,,, I am a silent partner! We need to escape this stance.. we need to not take God for granted, for He stays with you by request, for He will not force Himself on you.He gives you "choice"!He talks, , He gives you the ability to open your ears.. He asks for you, He gives you the ability to talk.. He asks for you to walk and carry His word,, He gives you motion.. God is there , ready, all He wants is for you to commit to Him and His Son.. He wants you to listen to the love and opportunities He has to pour upon you,,, just for coming and asking Him to come into you, and you into Him.. Then why are we still standing , leaning upon the wall of sin,, suffering the way to hell.. and not the eternal love and life with God? Why do you lean on nothing and not lean on the Cross of Jesus,,,, It just does not make sense , for as smart as we of the human race are, yet some,,, are so dumb, they are like the remains of a cut tree,, cut & rotting as a stump.. Are you one of those? IF you are,, stop,, open your mouth and call out,, ask for Him,, He will come,,He will save , He will take you off that wall of sin, and give you purpose for life.... like you have never ,, ever had.. so come on!!
One last saying and "listen" good... as you lean on that wall ,, so is Jesus leaning also, with His ear pasted to it.. just waiting,, and God walks by,, He asks Jesus , "Have you heard anything ?".. Jesus says no, been like this all day long..
Now , listen to me,, do you want to stand before God almighty and have him say,, I do not know you, and you look over to the side and see Jesus with an ear to a wall???

STILL listening, for the voices of those to call out!

HAVE YOU CALLED , YET?

God, I come to you,,, I pray that Your words go out and bring in a herd of lost sheep by using all those who read this today, and that they might be listening and talking also.. amen

I lean on the Cross and It holds me straight, tall, and strong,, and I look up and I talk to my Jesus every day,, do you lean on Him or just a bare wall? Do you talk to Him, call out to Him to save you? Lean on those everlasting arms.. yes lean on!!!! then as you look over at Him on Judgement day,, He will be walking toward you and not leaning on a wall , still listening.. when is it too late for you to call out!

FEEL HIM?

THURSDAY- Wake up you sleepy heads! It is another one of God's days,, He's up and waiting on you,, so get up,.,, eat, and let's all get out and take a walk together,, then let's just stay together for the day,,, He would like that,,,, so here you go, from now to then,, hand in hand with ,, God?

Just a short note,,, have you ever felt a short cool breeze on a very, very hot day, when you think , you just can't go another step? taken a deep, deep breath ,,, and feel so much better? or take a walk, and to your surprise,, you are walking with a kick in your step,, no hurts, just good feelings, and all of a sudden a smile breaks loose? and just sitting, and a big ole smile breaks? maybe just a little giggle? how about hungry for something special,, maybe a favorite,, and wow, there it is? a feeling of a hug,, a slight squeeze? your heart beats a little fast.. like a feeling of love, within? a long awaited good news of a loved one, a friend,,, or just a person of favor,, just to you? or you feel just like you have been touched.... ever so slightly?
What is all this above? Just maybe,, maybe, you have , without realizing it,,,,,

FELT HIM TOUCH YOU,,, ever so lightly!

Lord, thank You for your touch,,,and may we realized that You do this all durning the days of our lives,,, not just once or just once in a while, but all the time,, amen

YOUR THOUGHTS

WEDNESDAY! Here we all are , at the middle of the week, 'hump day", all thinking about the next days until the afternoon of Friday,,, and the start of the official W/E! It seems as if most people live for the w/e..and thier lives are like a block ,,not days, but weeks,, and they miss so much of the in-between.. how do you get away from this "block" living? By deciding to live each day,, day by day... for the next day will get here , if He decides to give it to us.. so don't worry about tomorrow, just make sure He is with you, and then live this day,, in its' self... hope you understand just what it is I am talking about,, "the gift of a day"!





Be careful what you think, because your thoughts run your life: Proverbs 4.23.





This is a very, very true statement,, and we all need to re-read it and heed to the truth, for what you think, is what sets your mind, either,,,, it is good or it is bad,, but it is your thoughts that makes these decisions, and the only help you will get is your free will of choice,, and God gave that to you at the time of your decision of you being you,,, by Him.... so your thoughts become you... and as it says in Proverbs...



Be careful what you think, because your thoughts , run your life!

TUESDAY: As we enter into this great day that God has given each of us, let us reflect on the great love of our God.. our Creator.. the gifts He has given,, not reflect on the "our want" , for who knows best?,,, of course, He does, so be thankful,, for little,,, to monstrous things.. for they are ALL from Him... have a great day!

A MOST PLEASURABLE SURPRISE!

WE (I), all talk about the "good ole days",, and in the future,, maybe it will be one of our children, that will tell the story to other young ones.. with this familiar saying of "I can remember back in the good ole days of September 2011, Just like it was yesterday,,,, and wow ,, was it better than today... people were thoughtful, and kind"..Yes,, sounds just like me,, today, as I tell the old, old stories of my time... well my time is still going on, and good things are still happening... even thought we have the tendency's to tell of the bad, the horrible, kinda like the news,, huh.. well , truth is truth, daily we talk, hell and damnation, yet we live in the free-est nation on earth.. we are missing the good things... me included,, not looking at the "real people" of this nation.. the ones who will carry the torch of freedom next.. no the younger generation is not gone,, there are some good ones there,,, and this is because of the training of the "old" ones,, it is paying off... Here is one story to tell,, long but good, so be patient and read, and you add the red today,,,,,,,,
Yesterday,, me, my wife, and my sister-in-law, went to Macon for her (SIL) doctor check up,, which by the way , came up ,, "excellent" , praise be to God for this... and after we left the doctors office,, so full of joy of the doctors good tidings.. we drove to a few places.. shopped for a short time, but a great , enjoyable time..laughing , kidding, having a good time...but most people you see, are going around with a look of gloom and doom on their faces.. but stop... we are all missing it.. Just look around you,, see the good,, for once, look through this screen that satan has put up,, that shows us in our "back side" of sight, the ugly.. No, STOP, and really look ,, for as we smiled in each store,, they smiled, our asking of help. was with a smile and a thank you for asking in return.. why,, because we were happy, and smiling,, it is catching,, believe me.. it is.. now for the finally of "the road trip of the doctors visit"!
We went to eat.,, at Chic Fillet,,, (our usual),, and as always at the ordering,, there goes the fight,, who is going to pay, and SIL, always wins out,,, so we laugh and enjoy our lunch , and head home for the recliners!
BUT,,, on this day as we were (SIL) trying to tell the girl at the cash register ,, what is the total, I am paying,, and the girl just walked to the back ,, came back to the front smiling as big as can be... and ask me,, do you have a table yet.. I said, no, and she said,, go find one, and I will bring you , your order! I said,, BUT,, we have not paid yet,, then that smile got bigger as she looked around, and said,, "on me today,, go find a table,,", When she brought us the meal, I ask , "what's up ? " and she said.."Today, I can pick who I want to, and who I instantly take a liking to... and that is you three,, and if I like them, then I have the privilege of saying to them.. thank you for coming here today, this meal is on me and us!",, re-read-- me first, then company last.. so it was her decision and hers alone to pick , and she did.. now, what do we say, wow! , were we lucky to have been picked by that girl..no ,, her smile as she delivered the meal,, and the smile she gave as we left and the "God Bless", was all arranged,, for what a day, that lunch did to three people who was already on a roll of one of God's great days.... you figure,, how can God be there , and every where else, why,, Now it was on to the recliners, and we did, with that smile still on our face and I bet on that girls also..... Thank you girl, we enjoyed the meal, and we enjoyed your company!!!! God bless you back!

Long today, but just a great story of "The Now" of one of His plans ,, in action! Thank you God for our all! amen

TICK TOCK!

MONDAY! Well, we made it to today.. how was your week-end, and did Jesus enjoy it as much as you thought He would? Oh! You did take Him along with you,, didn't you?

The existence of forgetting has never been proved: We only know that some things don't come to mind when we want them, and is it because we don't want to remember or is it age? You tell me!

TICK-TOCK!

Before battery watches, and clocks, and back in the days of "if you don't wind them up, then get a sun-daial". this is the sound you heard when you went into someones house, or lifted your left wrist to your ear.. yes,, those old time machines gave out the best "tick-tock" you would have ever heard.. as they said,, if you wound them up.
They would last until the main spring broke or you wound them up too tight! THEN, they stopped, and to the watch repair man you went.. and there was one in every town, maybe two or three, and they stayed busy... Now ,,, it is hard to find a jewelery store, much less a watch repair man.. for those watches, and clocks.. , NOW,,just unplug them and throw them away,, and go get you another Chinese time piece! Cheaper than fixing one,, progress?,,, I miss it, the old days of time... except when I tried to sleep and that thing, just sounded louder and louder,,,tick tock,, tick tock! Went to sleep listening to that ole clock on the wall...
How about that other ole time piece that goes "tick-took" , every second of every day.. and when it stops.. you stop? You know the one I am talking about? It is not on the wall, nor on the wrist,,but in the chest of every one of us, and it is called a "HEART".. given to us by God,, & this one , no batteries... no matter what.. He Is The Battery! It may stop, but when it stops for good.. is His decision...
Do you realize that as Jesus said about the flame of a candle,

THAT YOU ARE A HEART BEAT AWAY FROM JUDGMENT DAY?

HAVE YOU ACCEPTED JESUS,,, ARE YOU READY,,, THEN THINK, AND GET PREPARED!

TICK TOCK!!!

Lord, I pray that all reach out and grab hold of Jesus and take Him into their heart, and when we hear that "tick tock" no more, we will be ready to face You, with Him at our side. amen

GOD DOES CRY!

SUNDAY! Gods' day! and don't forget it! He gave you six, for one,, so wow,,,where else can you find a deal like that? Now will you kick back and rest with Him?

Prayer Request: For a man named "Wallace",,, who is crying out to all of- his love for his god,, and how he is so faithful.. sin free,, yet writes to his mother,, "hate",, "dis-ownership of her",, tells publicly of his hate for her.. and tells all,, he is a Christian! How can this be? I ask all to pray for God to intervene .. to take this mother, this son, united them under Him, and let there be peace ..put satan out of their lives, and put the arms of Jesus around them,,,please pray for them,,, pray, pray.. only God can do it, and I am positive of this,,,
For all Americans to find work here in this country, and that our companies CEO's and Boards,, vote on bringing it back to America,,, all it will cost them is one golf game or what ever else they are playing... pray, pray,,, this we can all do,, employed, or unemployed!

GOD DOES CRY,, I BELIEVE THAT!

God is the builder of all things.. God has built this universe,, this earth, and all in it... He has an uncountable number of angels, people who love Him with all their heart and soul,, people who hate Him with a passion,, one He has already thrown out of Heaven... (with this one, He let him build a hell,, to suffer through for all times... and with this one is where your road leads,, if you are without God's Son).. thirsty? He gives you drink, hungry ? He gives you food, Cold or hot? He give you the sun, or the moon.. He gives His all,, yes His all to you, and to me.... What do we give back to Him?,,,
Yes, I believe if we could take an inventory of the "what" we have given back,,, then I know , that after we have looked at it,,, we would cry like a baby without a bottle... so what makes you think that the one who made it all, gave it all,, would not see this daily, minute by minute,, still giving... but would not have tears in His eyes.. along with His Son.... whom He gave to us, on a cross..
Yes,, I can close my eyes and I can see tears. Even though I cannot see God, for no one has looked upon His face but the Son... but I can see tears with no face,,, in my mind,,,, and I just know it is He that is crying,,, What about you,, have you given Him something that will make Him smile, laugh... or have you been one of those who have rubbed salt into His eyes, and then asked for His help... yes,,

I KNOW GOD CRIES,, FOR I CAN SEE WHY,,, CAN YOU?

God, forgive me, us,, and I say, thanks for all I have,, for I know it is from You, and it carries a load of love,, like we have never before seen nor can we give that much ,,,, even when we try.. forgive us Lord, we are sinners, weak and weary.. but Lord, we are Yours... amen

I have made Him cry,,, I have asked forgiveness and dried those tears,, and still I am man,, and I cause Him tears.. but I never dis-own Him,,,just as He has never disowned me, from conception, till now.. how have you been treating your God?

SATURDAY! Well, what will you do the first thing out of the chute(bed) today? I know what I did,, I smiled,,as I looked at the clock, saw 5:00 a.m., knew that within 20 minutes, I would be drinking a great cup of coffee,, if I got out of that bed, and went and made it.. and I did... I also, smiling,, thanked my God for giving me the strength to get up, and for the life He gave me, 69 years ago, and for the one He gave me this morning, for folks,, as the old saying goes... "Today is the first day of the rest of your life", spend it with Him and have a great time ,, this today! Given by Him so freely, and with much love!

Prayer of Thanks: For God sending us His Son, to SAVE us all who will reach out to Him, and ask Him in!

FROM ADAM TO NOW!

I think of the perfect world that God made... the things He gave this earth,, the atmosphere,, the beauty,,all that was created.. and then He gave it away.... to man. If you had made something this big, would you have given it away? Or would you have just set back, and said ,,,"Look how great I are!"... that is what I envision most would do.
After looking at HER(Earth) now. I am sadden, that man can take such a big item,, as the world, so beautiful, and so self sustaining,,and then destroy it ,,, and say to the God of perfection, and love to us all,, the One who gave it to us,, "I love you God, and I will do all things for you!"...
Is tearing His Earth down,, for Him? We thank so, but, no,,, it is for our gain, we think,, for as it may be the few who try each day to serve and repair the damage,, the majority,, still are tearing away at the seams of our own precious "Mother Earth"... and thank our Great God, He is still listening to the few.... for now!
Then , God so loved us,, He sent us His Son.. and we killed Him, just as we are killing our Earth... God put Him , His Son on a cross,, let man nail Him to it, and let Him die,,, but God raised Him from the dead in three days, said, now man, this is your Savior, My Son,, Jesus Christ, has died, and has risen ,,,,, just for you,, paid the debt of your sins.. if you accept Him as Your true and only Savior and come to me through Him.. I give you back life , through Him... and yes ,, we are trying our best to screw that up , by taking God, & the Son, out of everything we do publicly... why,, I ask,,, is it just greed? Are we so weak that we let satan rule us? God made satan,, and yet we let him(satan), tempt us, over the maker of all things.... I just don't understand man at all....
How can we expect to continue down this path? I want all to just stop and think,, look deep into your mind,, for you can do it.. close your eyes,, and go back,, and see Adam,, as God made him.. the garden of eve.. all that Adam had,, then he ate of a forbidden fruit,,,, and it seems to me that too many today are still eating of that same tree,,, trying to be better than God... this will never happen... but keep looking,, and see the history of man, up to here and the now.... with all you have, and all you keep under wraps ,, for a rainy day,, for that final ride,, so people can say,, look what he left,,, it that all we are doing here ,,,, is to leave what we can...destruction and trash,,,folks ,, that is not what it is,, it is WHO we take with us,,, that is the purpose of life itself... to live great and have a great time.. but do it with God, and with Jesus,,, not that one in the garden,,, the one that is at your heel,,, look now, and step away quickly,, for not to be bitten,,, for that step into Jesus' arms will protect you, as nothing else can.. now open your eyes, and weep ,, as to what we have done to Mother Earth,,, and to our God,,,,

Lord God, I pray for this earth,, that if it is Your wish, You will forgive man, and continue to let us live here,, and I ask that man fall to his knees to You , God The Creator of all,, of us. amen

For what comes this day , will be from You and for a reason,, and I will face it with the Son beside me, and let that Son shine in front of me as I walk on this , this great and beautiful ,,,, Mother Earth,, come walk with us,, me and my God! Preserve this World, by worshipping Him...

HOW TO GET OUR NATION ,, BACK!

FRIDAY! TGIF! Only for the worker, and guess what,, you , the worker are becoming the lower number! Not by you , but by our elected officials.. our work is overseas.. This is the shame of a nation that wants too much, for nothing.. They must know ...our only hope is to bring it back, work and God!

You must work in the field, or you don't have a harvest.. only the dream of one.. work is Godly,, laziness is satan at his best.. so , if nothing but mowing, raking,, cleaning, walking,, you stay busy, and take the idle playhouse from satan,, this will keep you focused while looking for what ever you are looking for... agree,,, or disagree?

Prayer Request: This request is for the next three days,, and I will urge that you do this every time you think of it.. ask God to forgive those that have sinned against you, then you forgive them,, and then pray that work comes to all who need it and that our nation comes back,, to you God.. with all we do ,, this phrase: "IN GOD WE TRUST" will again be our motto.
Will you do this? Or will you sit by and watch HER go down the drain.. for the funnel of the black hole has formed , and only we can stop this rotation,, with prayer... for with prayer, God will supply!

BODY OF THOUGHTS FOR TODAY!

I think the above prayer request is enough for today.. if we all will just focus on God, with reality,not just words,, but words of faith, words of worship, and actions of these things,, forgive and receive.. it will happen.

We have been through too many wars.. lost too many men, and women in them.. to now, back down from a greedy bunch of porkers... Will you, and I mean in earnest .. join me in prayer of action.. now, and then some...

God, spare this nation. Forgive first , those who sinned against us, then forgive us, and forgive this nation, and repair Her today... amen

AS I WALK

THURSDAY! This is your day,, given by , not you , but by God. where you go or do this day is for Him and only Him... no matter what you feel ,,, it is his!

AS I WALK!

As I walk out the door, into the yard, down the road, to a movie, to a restaurant, to a job, to anywhere,,, I first dress my self for the occasion. We all do ,, for dress is of a very big importance of an American... just stand on a corner and watch the people parade by, look at what they have on.. and then watch their eyes,,,, as they look also,, at you! Yes , we are a people on a boardwalk of notice and modeling,, wherever we go... Our conscience is what we wear,, more than what we do, where we go, how we act, who we care about,, how we live, our dress tells just what we are doing where we are headed,, if we really look.

When I walk, I dress for what-ever also.. work, job, fun, but I also put on my cloak of protection,, one that tells me if I am wearing something decent, something that tells people I am a good person,, that I am going to the right places, I am saying the right words,,, showing me the way,, my guide through the day, the week, the year, the life,, my GPS tracker,,,,,

My cloak , my protector, my conscience,, is the Lord Jesus Christ. I have asked Him to join me in all that I do, so when I awake, He is there, when I rise and go about my chores of the day, inside , outside, He is there, so who do you take to walk with you as you are dressing for your day? Who is your cloak of protection, and designer of your day, week, year, life,, just who do

YOU WALK WITH? REALLY?

Lord, thank You for my "cloak", and may all who read this, will wear Him where-ever they go, and wear Him with pride and dignity. amen

I ask Him into me, and since then , I ask Him to walk with me where-ever I go, and He never fails to have His traveling shoes laced up and ready to crawl , walk, or run! Want to go for a walk? Well, stop and ask Him to go with you? Please!

WEDNESDAY! HUMP DAY! Well, it's the middle of the week!,, long climb?, or fairly easy?, at least you are at the middle day,, getting ready to slide to the week-end... Friday- what after the four, the two before, the two after the middle...? You have had two days to just work and think of this coming week-end,,, but I hope you used these two days, and this one, and the next two.. and so not just "used them" to get to the W/E,. what a shame if you do, for God gave us a full week to enjoy,, do not waste these "other" days , just for two..... and have you picked who you are going to slide with? I hope and pray it will be the one who has been sharing all these "other" days with you, and you take Him,, right on through this week, the week-end, the month, this life....really!



Prayer Report: Brother Sam did o.k. He came out of surgery with , so far success, and is resting,, coming home today if all is well... thanks for all the prayers...

Little Joseph did his first treatment yesterday,, I will give you an update on Him... and his parents, grandparents, and aunt send out thanks for your prayers for his healing,,and also, donations are rolling in... thank you all for the prayers..

God has given us a lot of instructions in the Bible,, Jesus has come,, and He has also left us the word of His father in the Bible, more instructins for us to follow,, but the one thing on these instructions,, not like in other books you read,, is you must take these very serious,, for they are real,,EACH ONE! They are the truth of how to not only honor our God, but how to get to Him from now,,, until He calls.. and call He will.. so all in all these rules,,, these commandments are for real,,,and they are to be heeded, and certainly they are not

FAVORS!

We all do favors ,, we all get favors.. some big, some medium, some small, but a favor done in earnest has no size within it,, it is just a great gift from one to another,, with no strings attached,, given, and no return expected at that time... but if needed in the future,, you are ready to return that favor in an instant,,, well maybe some,, but not all..Too many receive and receive,, but the "return" word, is not in their vocabulary... they just feel like , well what the heck, I just don't have the time nor the energy, I care, but I just don't show it,,! When it is us,,, we care,, when it is not,, we tend to lend far out,and just say,, I hope things are better...That is just , yes, human!

Yes, I said we,,, but if I am wrong, I am sorry... but I will bet I am mostly right... especially on one count,, and that is the return of thanks to God for all His favors.. for just to breath , see, and move,,, life itself,, is a favor.. did you know that? We all do,, but we forget quickly.. but in good times, as well as bad,, we should be thinking Him,,, for He never has a bad day,,,, and He just keeps on sending out favors.. we just don't see them all. Just think about it today.. and carry it with you on into the other days of your life, and think more, on give back!

MONDAY! Welcome back to the "regular" week! Make it slow, and enjoyable,, for the week-ends will come,, as long as He desires...so since He made the world for you to enjoy ... why rush to each week-end? Take it slow, easy, and look around, and you just may see some of the things He made, that you haven't seen for being such a "Monday to Friday Jetter".. these days are made for all... Everyone, have a great Monday!



ON A DAY JUST LIKE TODAY!



Yes, it will be a day , just like this day,, this very day, that Jesus will return, and return HE will... will you be ready for His coming? You won't have time to break down on knees crying, slobbering all over, begging for forgiveness,,, for you will have already made that decision.. and bamn, it's too late...hey, satan won't even be there, for he is going to run right back down and into hell..... OR,,,, you can make that decision now.. and be in the ones who are jumping up and down.. crying tears of joy.. heart pumping ,about to burst.. grabbing one another, laughing ,hugging, just so happy.... down on ones knees , worshiping and thanking Him for being here to save you.. YES, HE has come after His own... the ones who have accepted Him as their Savior.... wow, what a day,,, and yes, it will be

God, I pray that there will more on their knees giving thanks, and glad tidings of welcome than for any other reason, when Jesus shall return here.. for that time,, I know is coming,, and God, I can see the celebration, and I can see the desperation and I ask for lean-ness on those who have not accepted Your Son.. amen

WHO POWERS YOU?



For sure, you are not your engine,,, for you may be the complete vehicle, with energy, sight , hearing, heart, mind, and direction.. but...your engine is God.. for He has the power to turn you on, and the power to turn you off... Always remember that!

Now, when you were turned on, God was taking care of you, and did so until the age of accountability.. not that is passed, He put you in charge as to whether you want Him to remain in charge , or put someone else in the drivers seat.. satan.. Now don't forget,, even thought satan is driving,, God still has the power, and the only one with the power... to turn you off. So, as you think on this,, you were given the choice at the age of accountability.... so don't go wrong... keep the maker in charge, for that is who you will finally face and be accountable to.. for when that time comes.. satan will not be allowed..

Only one,, you can pick now that will insure you of being there and staying there and will be allowed to stand at your side on that day of judgment,,,and that is Jesus, who will be there to defend you. If you ask Him now,, which is your choice,, then He will be at your side, running your life,,,,from now till then. and the price of sin, will be paid,, by Him in full.....now, pick,,,,your real engine? or the false one?



ONLY YOU CAN MAKE THE DECISION, AS TO WHO NOT ONLY POWERS YOU, BUT WHO CARRIES YOU!

Prayer Requests: For Little Joseph, who did get FDA approval for treatment, and will start this coming Monday.. pray for these treatments to be the ones , and may God rain only good down on this little man!
For the Lord to come back into Wallace, who has opened the doors to the demons of hell.. so much as to stand , curse his mother, and deny her as mother... scream and rant, leave his wife, children, run with the wrong crowd and deny all of these as his,, but walks with satan,,, pray that God will cast out these demons and return this young man back to wife, children, mother and all of the rest of his family.

If you came up on Jesus , and you were with your friends,, where-ever you were at the time He came up to you and asked , "do you know who I am"...." I am Jesus Christ , The Son of God". What would you do? Would you acknowledge Him, would you embrace Him, and proudly say to all,, "This is my Jesus!".. or would you ....... not!
For I see a lot of invitations, on various pages on the Internet, that ask if you believe,, and I see very few answers,, BUT on such things that matter not, I see a list of acknowledgments that could go from N.Y. to Calif.... where do you stand,,, for Him publicly? Think hard about answers,and then your actions.. and I mean,, look real hard into your mind, and your actions...... I pray that all say the following,

THURSDAY! Who did you wake up with this morning? Who is standing at the side of your bed, when you opened your eyes, and who was smiling, dressed, and ready to go with you through your day, and keep you company, and help you make it a great day.... and who will be right back there in the morning ,,, for more of the same??? Well, I hope it was the same for you, as it was for me... For there stood Jesus,, all dressed and ready , smiling, with a hand extended , ready to help me up .out of bed, and walk with me through this day, ,, wow,, what a sight! Yes , I have a big ole smile on my face also,, and I just opened my eyes! Can you "really" open your eyes , and see Him also? Oh yes, I expect Him back tomorrow morning also!

PRAYER?

I have a question to every REAL AMERICAN,,, did you ever think , that you would have places that are open to your children, open to you publicly, sports events, meetings,,,where,, you could not drop your head and pray.. out-loud, and ask all around you join in, if they wish.. for now if you do this in our schools, our courts, our state, or federal building, sports events, and event that is public with any connection to offending an atheist, or other religious belief, is not only forbidden, but you could get arrested and do time , if you insist on praying in these places!
Now, do you live in a free nation? No.. our government has set up there in Washington, and shinned the shoes of all of satans followers, and satan himself, and took the coin he pitched to them as a tip! Money is all they want.. not legislation... but greed,,,, and self is what they have passed,, and folks ,, we are in trouble...
I advise , vote all of them out , and start over.. put some good ole redneck Christians in there, and start there sessions off each day with a prayer,, yes right there in the House, Senate, all committees,, and the Oval Office.. then we would see a completely free nation again, and your child could say a prayer in school in unison in their class room, learn the three R's for the three R's are still the most important of learning in any school.... and then you can go into any building of the state, federal, and drop to your knees and pray ,,out loud,, and not be arrested.. and you could go into restaurants, fast foods, and bless your food and not be asked to leave.. yes,, folks,, we need CHANGE,,, from satans voted in officials,, to Gods voted in officials, and become , again the real United States of America, and drop to our knees and be able to

PRAY AT WILL !

Do you see or feel like Paul at times,, here ? This is still the greatest nation on earth, but will God cntinue to give us this nation much longer? You look around, and then you tell me? I pray for Her each day..do you,, and to God, not to a seats, nor oval offices in Washington!

I like the ending,, forever, and ever, for He will be by your side,,, and you can be beside Him for Life,, if you want to.. for God is Here, in the now,, waiting to hear from you, don't wait to talk to Him!

Prayer Request : For Little Joseph,, who is still going under treatment, and needs all of you to pray hard , that God will be merciful on this child... and that God's will be done first and foremost.

ARE YOU A WHEEL, WITH ALL THE SPOKES?

Are you a wheel with all the spokes? This is a question , that needs another question,answered first... do you know what a spoke is?
A spoke is one of some number of rods radiating from the center of a wheel (the hub where the axle connects), connecting the hub with the round traction surface .
Now if one of those spokes, breaks,, then the wheel becomes weaker... puts pressure on the rest of the spokes holding the wheel together at the hub, and the outer surface.. so the more spokes that break, the weaker the wheel, until it just falls apart. lays to it side, going nowhere else, and just rots..
Your Soul, your being, YOU, are just like that wheel, when it comes to God.. Your spokes are your belief, your faith, God is your hub,., Jesus is your surface.. and without this surface,, or hub,, there is nothing to hold our spokes! you can not go... With one spoke missing(dis-belief/faith) you get weaker and you start to wobble just a little,, this means you have given in to satan, and given away one of your spokes.. now you get deeper into satan, and there goes another spoke,, you wobble more, until you give in, lose all of your spokes of faith,,, and then you fall to the way side, lay, useless, and rot..BUT,, by keeping the faith with the Hub(God), and outer surface(Jesus),, your spokes stay intact,,, never rot, never get lose, never break out.. but stays tight, rolls on through life with grace and dignity,,, right on from this life into Heaven,, but intact, and whole... God, Jesus, and You!
Now, as you live this life,, do you ask Jesus , and God into your life ,, or satan? This is a choice that only YOU can make,, for God made you, but He gave YOU the choice ,,,, Him or satan.. now YOU make this choice, and you make it now.. today, not tomorrow, but now... do you want to be a

WHEEL WITH ALL THE SPOKES? OR
a wheel laying on the side of a road, going nowhere, and dying of rot?

Lord, my God, I choose You as my wheel of life to come into my heart and soul, and let me roll with You forever and ever.. and I pray that all who reads this will do so also, and that they will go out and spread this word, and not stay tongue tied when the time to speak of you comes. amen

IT'S UP TO YOU

MONDAY! Yes , you have made it through this w/e! I hope all had a great time, and enjoyed it to the utmost! If you walked to much this week-end, that is with the Lord, or just carried His word around to others, and you feel that the wear of your sandals.. kinda in the sole(soul) from all that wear,, then stop by the sandal store, it is not a new one, but a very old one.. in fact 2011 years old.. it is called the "Jesus Resoul Shop". You just drop down on your knees , and bow your head, and it will appear to you and when you ask for your soul to be repaired,, He will accept your request then and there, and He will not just repair those you have, but repair them with new life, one of love and caring, and they will then carry you through the rest of your life, and then some! Wow! What a "Soul" repairman is He! And as you rise up, you are ready to walk just fine, again, you and Him , down the road of life... wonderful,, right?

IT'S UP TO YOU!
Waking up each morning and putting God first is the only way your life will ever be successful,, and how you handle it, and yourself is the success of your days... just read this little thought.....

Now turn the idea around, and remember that you're adding to the pleasure or misery of other peoples days. This the half of the matter which you can control.
Whether each day of your life shall GIVE happiness or suffering rests entirely upon your shoulders.
Whether you accept Jesus as your savior,, rest entirely upon your shoulders also.. and to attain any of that last paragraph, you can never give out real love, and real glad tidings to the ones you come into contact with, and I mean REAL, not these little impersonating gestures.. but real love, and glad tidings, WITHOUT JESUS IN YOUR HEART!
So , all in all , this message of today's thoughts ,, still comes down to HAVING GOD, AND JESUS AS YOUR ONLY GOD, AND JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR OF YOUR SOUL,, YOUR PATHWAY TO HEAVEN,,, or having satan as your pathway to destruction......folks

SUNDAY- 911- Today is the day we remember, that ten years ago,, our nation was under attack, and we were at war, in our on land.. the twin towers had been hit, and we witnessed one of the most terrible things in our nation , since Pearl Harbor.. that of an enemy attacking and killing withing our nation,,and after,,, we recovered,,, a nation great again,, with the memories of the love ones who died in the attack, the ones who rescued as many as possible,, and now have died because of this great effort put forth... Let's remember today,, that no matter what,,, we, as a nation, will not let anyone,, come upon our land and kill our fellow Americans, we will fight back, we will win,, but most of all we will continue to carry in front of the Flag, and within our Pledge,, our God,,, and let no man nor woman, ever try to put this aside from our belief, and our worship of Him! This is the most important thing of this day,,, that we pray and give thanks to our God, and that we keep God in front of all we do... and we need to pray for all to see this, now,,, not later!

THE UMBRELLA

THURSDAY- As you open your eyes this morning or just when you read this,, just make God smile, and all of Heaven, by saying,, "God , I thank You for all I have, all I will ever have, my home, you have for me there, and all in all, thank You for me.. I am undeserving , but thankful and send my love and thanks to You.
If you say that,, I just know there will be smiles , and a great celebration, I don't think He hears it enough.. do you?

THE UMBRELLA!

When it rains, out comes the umbrellas... when the sun is too hot, out comes the umbrellas.. especially for the women... I guess men think it is too sissy to open one.. Ha! Well at some of my grand-daughters soccer games,, I was slipping into "sissy mode" , even with a hat on.. for I would sneak under the edges ever chance I got.. and I had a hat on.. but all in all,, an umbrella is a great invention, the same as a top on a surrey! A surrey? A buggy with a top! Yes , I am that old! Have you noticed the commercial, of the little red umbrella that floats around over your head ,, protecting you from all bad things.. wow.. we all need that insurance!
Well , I just happen to have it! Yes, it protects you in this life, and even gives you life in the here-after! Now you tell me , that you know of another insurance of this kind? And this one is free by the way.. no premiums,, just have to trust, and accept.. and with that acceptance,, you have it.. no cancellation.. but a lot of forgiveness, and a lot of love...from acceptance until .....
If you want it ,, here is how you get it... You can do this walking, standing sitting, running, head bowed, on ones knees,, looking into the heavens.. anyway you want.. Just ask Jesus to come into your heart and soul, tell Him , you give your all to Him, ask for His forgiveness,, and tell Him you accept Him as your Lord and Savior... and you have your umbrella of the saving power of Jesus Christ, and then you must confess Him in public at all chances you get,, for if you don't stand up for Him in public,, then He will deny you in front of His Father...
So , now you have the umbrella of Jesus , within you,,, no, He is not going to push that car aside if you step in front of it,, He gave you a brain, to use,, so use it.. do not mock Him.. this umbrella is against the one and the only one in this world who wants you to die and burn forever, and that is satan, and as long as YOU keep Jesus,, this cannot happen... so accept Him, Jesus , as your savior, and have a good walk through this life under your

UMBRELLA,,, JESUS CHRIST!

God, I pray that all will accept Jesus, and come to You with Him at their side, and not come alone. amen

LOOKING AHEAD

WEDNESDAY! Hump Day? Not this week, for you had a holiday, so today is just Wednesday.. but still two more to go, until the W/E... slow down, time goes by too fast now...if you are getting old, ha! The Lord gives us a good sense of humor,, only if we will use it,, and have plenty to laugh at.... 435 legislators.... 100 senators.... 1 President.. ourselves, now folks that is pure humor,, agree?

Prayer Request: For Little Joseph: From Judy yesterday:
I've been waiting until they read the MRI to send another update.
It's NOT GOOD... Jon said their worst fears were confirmed with the scan this morning. The tumor has come back. It's on the brain stem which explains why his eyes aren't focusing properly.
Evidently the radiation is not having any effect.
Jon's attitude is, we knew from the beginning we were going to have to have a miracle from God and that's still the case.
We just all need to pray harder.God is in control.
Thanks for your prayers.

LOOKING AHEAD!
As we go through this life, we tend to look for things ,, yes things,, that make up, our now life, make our future life better,, and there is nothing wrong with this.. It is a smart thing to do.. look at the future,, and prepare for it.. for how much future we have, we don't know.. but we go on faith, and that is exactly what we should do..but be prepared for what it holds... our destiny,, our leisure years,,, I always like the old saying "our golden years"... but we do not need to prepare in a way, that leaves us friendless, or hated. Don't push your friends aside for worldly goods.. don't push your relatives aside for worldly goods. and don't trade your soul for worldly goods. When you do the above , you are really preparing yourself for a lie , and an eternal life of hell. If you gain by stepping on someone, then you have lost, not gained... but for some to realize that , it is like trying to replace their brain, for the space is too limited to do that.
So to look ahead,, first keep you head tilted toward the East.. but treat all that you come into contact with, exactly the way you want to feel, and to be treated... if you know of someone who does not have, then give them some of yours, and of you.. if they are lonely,, visit with them, if they are sick, consul them and pray for them before they are sick & also when they are sick,, and pray for all you know, this world, and then your soul, give it to God.... Worship God, and only God... never gold , silver , or the almighty dollar, it will not get you into Heaven... as I have said before , you have never seen a hearse with a luggage carrier on top... for God accepts souls, not things... and believe me,,, right now, AMERICA,, remove the luggage carrier, and start looking to Him, and to the East more, for we are on a shore fuse...
Now that you have read this, and got your thinking to going , at least for a few minutes on the road to the future,, how many of you that are of the younger age, that will do this, trust in this, and how many of us "older" folks testify to it? So now,, really,,, just who all is stopping long enough to

LOOK AHEAD,, AT LEAST TO THE MOUNTAIN, IF NOT OVER IT?

I do look ahead, and I do profess Jesus in public and loudly with no shame, and I will continue to do this as long as my Lord lets me breath,, How about you, will you stand next to me ,, or just say you will?

HUNGER!

TUESDAY- Welcome to this start of the work-week for lots of people,, and amiss , a day of out looking for work for another large percentage.. may all get what they desired this great day...have faith, it may not show up right this instant, but it will show up,, just remember ,, Life is a lot like a pencil.. you start out with a good sharp point, and it writes so good..but as you write more,,(live more), it gets dull,, and the writing is wider, not as sharp, a little harder to see.. as the lead wears closer to the body of wood.. BUT,, remember this above all... pencils can be re-sharpen, well so can a body, if they want to.. so just ask the power that built the body ,, then ask for a re-sharpen,,, and get going... I mean it.. get up and get going! Even if your eraser is worn a little ,, just write slower, and better,, then you don't need that ole eraser! Right? Remember,, a smile can be started by you OR some one else, so start smiling also, and keep looking at others for theirs, bet you get some back!

PRAYER REQUEST: My neighbor, James Streeman, who is have an out-patient surgery this morning, please pray for a successful operation and the quick healing for James..

HUNGRY?

Not for the stomach nor the body,, but the soul? How many of us have been hungry just to hear and be with a great country revival feast of fellowship, but we all still turn into the fast "feed" places, that offer a quick fix for the the Sunday that is to last a week , then back again for another plate of the same ole stuff? Well, it is time we all get back down on our knees and save this country or let it just go right on to hell.. for folks , if it don't change,, and that includes me,you, and all who reads this , get on our knees in sincerity, and pray for God to help us out of this ditch of self destrucgtion,,and GET UP AND TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT GOD AND COUNTRY, AND THEN ASK THEM ALL TO BOW THEIR HEADS AND SAY A SHORT PRAYER TO GOD FOR RE-IN-STATEMENT OF HIS FORGIVENESS AND HELP! Can you do this,, publicly? Now did you get it... are you ready to feed on the real word of God, or are you still feeding on that bad habit of greed ,, right along with all those making decisions, with you standing beside them cheering or are you standing in front of new people making the decisions.... newly elected officials.. who are handing out plates of real work, and Godly food , without an apology? Lord, may all pray to You for You to come back into our sinful nation, and make us whole again... restore our old country, take the new and send it overseas with the jobs that our leaders have sent,,, and send them also. amen..

Pardon the pun,, but I am fed up! with the way our country is running, and then I look at what is written on FB and other pages... and then I can see,, some are trying,, some are ????? Yes ?????? We need more trying.. instead of ignoring!

WHERE DO YOU STAND

MONDAY! Labor Day! Today, you can sit around and do just what you want to do! Labor not!,,,, unless you are a wife, a mother, a grandmother,, and then your work is never at a standstill... it is 24/7.. unless someone gives you a complete day off... and that is not to stay at home, but to get out all by yourself or a friend/relative! Now do all you men agree with me ,,,, or do you want to do the wash, vacuum the floors.. dust the house,and most of all,,, not eat? Well your answer had better be,, yes I agree! May God bless the women of our world and the true labors!

PRAYER REQUEST IN EARNEST OF THIS DAY: God to restore the jobs that our crazy and greedy politicians, and CEO's sent to our enemies,,, to make so cheap & make more money than they needed,, as they also also let them lend them "gold dollars" , from our gold reserve.. to quench their greedy thirst.. God forgive them, & send them to these countries to live, and I ask and beg You to save our nation.. for I put you first and foremost in the statement of ,,,"IN GOD WE TRUST"..

I ask , not where you stand, but will you stand up for Jesus, God and Country, where you sit, stand , or lay, right at this moment? Will you be a true American, and tell the jokers who run our country... to stand up and take credit for the reason our country is in the shape it is now... poorly.. the non-jobs, on a "labor day week-end",,,, not blame it on the previous President and his "gang",, no don't blame,, accept it,,, then FIX IT NOW... for you, the politicians,, can vote in relief, and you can vote out "P0RK" , to fill you and your buddies bellies.... get of the soap box and do something... ,,and YOU,, the CEO'S, you can bring it back , and do without the yacht, or the extra women, and sins that you have bought with this "sin" money...

THOUGHTS FOR TODAY!

SUNDAY! Today is God's day , as all the others are also, except on this day, He choose to rest from all the hard work He had done building this world in only six days for us all to enjoy.. NOW,, we must rest,, while we keep trying our darnest to tear it down in six days , and sometimes (most times) seven.! We are typical ,,,, man, and woman... combined... we can either make this a better world, or stay self centered tearing it apart and live on , as long as you can..or we can stop, now... put God first, and live , the right way.. and tear nothing down! Which are you? TEAR DOWNER, OR LIVE RIGHTER? You look in your mirror and answer this to yourself and no one else,, if you dare!!!!!



Whatever our individual troubles and challenges may be, it’s important to pause every now and then to appreciate all that we have, on every level. We need to literally “count our blessings,” "give thanks for them, allow ourselves to enjoy them, and relish the experience of prosperity we already have.”



Today if all will read the above two things,, over again, absorb them, you if taken literally and in heart,,,then can you really trot off to a great,,, (rest )of Labor Day! Now , you can receive other things,, promotions,, etc,,that tell you,,, to get this benefit, you must call this telephone number or get onto the Internet to activate.

Now,,, how about the Lord? Have you called on Him and activated Him into your life? Just call out ,, you don't
need a phone , nor the Internet to contact Him.. just a mere voice of sincerity...yours, asking, please accept me,, for I accept You as my Savior,, and my only God... To a large extent, the American church has become merged with the world. It has adopted so many of the worlds ideals and standards that is sweeping the nation. For millions of church members there is NO DEEP COMMITMENT TO THE CAUSE OF CHRIST! There is no regularity of attendance at public worship, no sacrificial giving, no personal religious discipline...
I see this in the people I know, the people I see and talk to... and I include myself in this... for I need daily reminders of just why we are here, and for who...
While the nation sees an increase in crime, immorality, adultery, drunkenness, irreverence, and infidelity and open apostasy, millions of "professing Christians" have forgotten the Word of Scripture that says, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him... take up his cross daily"(Luke 9:23).
Christ regarded His followers as a select company,, that belonged to a different world.. HIS! Not the worldly goods that we all take for riches,, but the riches of the blood that He shed, the life He re-gave us all.. the path He paved to Heaven , to His and our Father ,, our God.. yes,, what HE gave,, HIS LIFE!
Now we set aside the morals. and put in the mockery,,, is this you,, or are you committed? I mean not in words only, but in your actions.. will you stop the cursing,, when you hear it, or are you afraid of the consequences? Will you stand for God, and country,, or will you stand behind those of this country.... Think of how far we have come,, soldiers who have been out defending our nation, wounded and home.... now about to lose their homes, on food stamps.. wow, if we treat them this way,, then I can imagine how we treat our Lord...
Now , the Christian should stand out like a sparkling diamond against a rough background. He should be more wholesome than anyone else. He should be poised, cultured, courteous, gracious, but firm in the things he does or does not do. He should laugh and be radiant; but he should refuse to allow the world to pull him down to its level!
Now , just where do you stand this day? are you a real Christin.. or just a Sunday Morning, Sunday Night, or Wednesday Night Christan,, who practices on a schedule instead of the heart?
MAY GOD FORGIVE THIS NATION, AND MAY ALL THE PEOPLE OPEN THEIR EYES, AND REPENT! RE-TAKE THY CROSS AND FOLLOW OUR JESUS, OUT IN THE OPEN AND DO IT WITH PRIDE, NOT CAMOUFLAGED, is my prayer for today.

LOOK ON THAT HILL!

THURSDAY- You are in the middle of your last part of the slide to the w/e! Do you still have Him with you as you slide,, or are you letting Him slow down ,, behind, as you make your plans, kinda as if there are some things, you may want to be alone on? Better re-think,, for today, tomorrow, and always,,, you should "want" Him to not only stay abreast of you,,but slightly ahead! Right? Yes!

Prayer Request: For Joni Jennings son, Marshall, who is 10 , and diagnosed with Type 1, diabetes and whose blood sugar rose to over 1000 Sunday... He was unable to walk during ER treatment... but he has undergone many, many pricks to the fingers, blood withdrawals..two days fasting, and now is resting, from all the testing and getting his insulin injections.. God was shinning on them both,, and is continuing to shine,, pray for Marshall to overcome this, and also for rest and peace for Mom... God Bless Both!

LOOK! ON THAT HILL!
What is it ,, I can hardly see it.. oh my! It is a man,, and He is nailed to a cross..oh my! LOOK! As we got closer,, you could see the spikes through the hands,,, the feet crossed ,and spikes through them also. Someone has speared His side, and placed a crown of thorns upon His head.. oh I hear one of the soldiers mocking Him,, asking ,, " do you want a drink of water?",, then giving Him vinegar! Oh ,my what has this poor man done... and His mother just looks at me, and says,, This Son,,, has done nothing wrong , He was perfect,, but He is just paying for all of man-kinds sin, for now, to always...
And then I heard this voice,, that said,, "FATHER FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO!".. This man asks for forgiveness to these soldiers, these people who have just crucified Him... He must be the Son of God.. and then the Heavens went black, and the thunder roared, and lighting jumped all around.. and then I knew.. that on that

OLD RUGGED CROSS,, HUNG MY SAVIOR, THE SON OF GOD,,,MY JESUS CHRIST!
THE DEBT OF OUR SINS,,,BEING PAID........IN FULL!!!!!!
When is the last time you looked upon that hill, and thought about
the price paid for your life?

God, how can we ever thank You for giving us your only Son.. just for us and for the forgiveness of our sins.. so I profess to come to you by this cross, and cling to it,, until I meet you one on one. amen
