TICK TOCK!

MONDAY! Well, we made it to today.. how was your week-end, and did Jesus enjoy it as much as you thought He would? Oh! You did take Him along with you,, didn't you?

The existence of forgetting has never been proved: We only know that some things don't come to mind when we want them, and is it because we don't want to remember or is it age? You tell me!

TICK-TOCK!

Before battery watches, and clocks, and back in the days of "if you don't wind them up, then get a sun-daial". this is the sound you heard when you went into someones house, or lifted your left wrist to your ear.. yes,, those old time machines gave out the best "tick-tock" you would have ever heard.. as they said,, if you wound them up.
They would last until the main spring broke or you wound them up too tight! THEN, they stopped, and to the watch repair man you went.. and there was one in every town, maybe two or three, and they stayed busy... Now ,,, it is hard to find a jewelery store, much less a watch repair man.. for those watches, and clocks.. , NOW,,just unplug them and throw them away,, and go get you another Chinese time piece! Cheaper than fixing one,, progress?,,, I miss it, the old days of time... except when I tried to sleep and that thing, just sounded louder and louder,,,tick tock,, tick tock! Went to sleep listening to that ole clock on the wall...
How about that other ole time piece that goes "tick-took" , every second of every day.. and when it stops.. you stop? You know the one I am talking about? It is not on the wall, nor on the wrist,,but in the chest of every one of us, and it is called a "HEART".. given to us by God,, & this one , no batteries... no matter what.. He Is The Battery! It may stop, but when it stops for good.. is His decision...
Do you realize that as Jesus said about the flame of a candle,

THAT YOU ARE A HEART BEAT AWAY FROM JUDGMENT DAY?

HAVE YOU ACCEPTED JESUS,,, ARE YOU READY,,, THEN THINK, AND GET PREPARED!

TICK TOCK!!!

Lord, I pray that all reach out and grab hold of Jesus and take Him into their heart, and when we hear that "tick tock" no more, we will be ready to face You, with Him at our side. amen
