GOD FIRST!

SATURDAY! Good morning to all! My wish today is for all to have a great day, and that all may for once,, ask God to favor them by being with them by their request... instead Him of just standing by watching and waiting on them to ask! Would this not be a great thing.. and make our God so proud? And will this wish ever happen? Yes, it will ,, in the end,,, & for it will be the dreadful cry of those unsaved, calling out, but then, it will be too late for those, and for those who have already called out, given their lives to Jesus,,, it will be the greatest day that any "human" of this time, past, present, and future will ever see!!!! Yes, I agree , it is too bad we as His creation, treat our maker as we do, and can only concentrate on ourselves, and our good times!!! My idea of a real good time would be to set down with Jesus and talk of all things... what is your greatest wish? Think about this day,, and make your decision, and be sure and think BEFORE you make it,,, for it just could be the greatest decision you will ever make!!! May God bless all, and may all have a great week-end! Prayer Request: Correction on yesterday's Mr. Harding.. it should have been Mr. Hardy.. my mistake as I had it written down right in front of me,, is this showing me, my actual age, and mind? Ha! Anyway,, pray for this man, for his daughter is very special to me! Prayer For This World: That all will come to God, and accept Jesus as their personal Savior, and peace on this Earth that this God, the only God, made for us all to enjoy, but enjoy with all worshiping of Him! GOD'S NATURE!

TUESDAY! I AM HONORED TO BE BACK ON THIS PAGE,, HONORED THAT MY GOD WOULD ALLOW ME TO WRITE FOR HIM! LONG TODAY, SO BE PREPARED! We made our visit, loved every second of it,,, loved the visit with our son, and daughter-in-law.. as they exceeded in making us so loved, and so relaxed, and taken care of with their all! We, as you can read , had a very, very great trip, and we thank our God for the safety, the hearty, and the loving visit, for we did include Him in our trip, by request! I tried to do a new way of "The Thoughts" on a new i-pad, but as you all know,,, that was short lived, so I just cut back, and waited to get back home to resume.. and work on that short cut later... so again, I apologize to God for not doing them, and to you all for not doing them.. for there would have been a way, but I failed, and was lazy, and selfish.. but now to move on.. Prayer Requests: For all in need of Gods healing, His help in their minds,, & body, or for His acceptance of their asking for Him, and of His Son, Jesus Christ to be their Savior of this world NATURE! As we traveled this week, we observed even more of nature, and the change of nature , due to man! As we (I)have had the opportunity to travel some,, I have always watched "nature", as I traveled.. the way it was, and the next trip, what had changed. This trip , up one way,, not a lot of change, then by advice from our son, we came back by a different route, one that we had traveled in the past, myself , and my wife..for years.. and we were so amazed at the change.. of nature , by man, and this type of change happens when money intervenes with the beauty that we as man often see and request a chance to live within this part of nature... the only thing wrong with this is,,, that this want of man is by the thousands...thus enters money and greed to satisfy our needs.. and that nature is turned into a metropolis... "nature" as God made that drew us there first is no more! Yes, we , man do change some of the most beautiful things that can be made, and they are made of God, and we can not improve, but we can mask the picture that all those younger than we, or did not get to see it in it "natural state",, will never see it here, and what am I getting to? That as we change God's nature, we also change Jesus' message of who is the maker, the forever, and the only one we should lay our heads down in a bow of and worship,, and not try to change, nor mask our religion,, just to make it more convenient to us , that is man! GOD IS GOD, AS HE WAS BEFORE EARTH, ATMOSPHERE, ANIMALS , MAN, AND ALL CREATION, AND HE IS STILL THE SAME GOD, WHAT HAS CHANGED,, ONLY MAN!!!!! God,, forgive us for destroying Your painting as we reach for more of our want , but we still let our want,, overpower within us, our selfish wants.... I ask that Man be restored to as you made.. amen John HIcks Yes, I love my nature, and I love my God, and I pray that all really see what these words really and truly mean! MEMORIAL DAY!

SATURDAY! The "Memorial" week-end has started! Let's start it off with the real reason for celebration,, for it is of the love ones, the ones who loved their country, your freedom, that they went to foreign aggressors, who was not only killing and gouging forward in other countries, but was heading to here, the USA, their final destination... and these fallen heroes" took upon their-selves.. the decision to stand outside our borders, and defend her(the USA), even to the death!!,,, and they did!!! So today, tomorrow, and on Monday, the designated day,, let's stop, minute by minute and utter a thank you to each of these fallen hero's, for their sacrifice that you now still have that freedom, that they gave their life for!!!,,,, and let's not forget, we have others,,, that stand at this very instance in harms way at our borders, and on foreign lands, protecting us from those who choose to take our freedom away, and as long as we trust and believe in God Almighty,, and put Him first, we will retain this great freedom we have, but remember this, to you, to our elected officials, and to "the love of money mongers".... YOU CANNOT SERVE BOTH GOD AND MONEY! For the love on One, is life!!!!, and the love of the other is death! You must make this decision, just as these heroes' that we salute this weekend did,,, yes my friends,,, it is your choice, and yours alone, for no one else can make it for you,, so this week-end let's USE SOME KNEE POWER TO FIRST THANK GOD, AND to SALUTE THOSE WHO HAVE FALLEN,,, FOR OUR FREEDOM! FRIDAY! TGIF! TGED! Today, as I sat and drank coffee under the carport,,, the one thing I noticed as God's nature awoke, and I listened with awe, and looked about,, the creatures of day started to move, talk to each other.. and I thought, this is us to those looking down upon us,, He who made us.. as we awake from the night, we stretch, we groan ,, as we become more conscious of the world about us... as we rear ourselves up,, and start to move, and talk, as the animals that we are also, even if it is to ourselves we talk to.. or..... maybe first,, a thank You to the One who made us, all? Then , it is off to our day, with an invitation to Him,, to accompany us, by choice , rather than by chance! Have a great day,, and remember this THEREFORE , ACCEPT ONE ANOTHER, JUST AS CHRIST ALSO ACCEPTED US,, TO THE GLORY OF GOD. Now, go out there, be a testimony of Him, and not that of ourselves! God, thank You for our all, and I pray that all will have a great holiday w/e that starts today, ends Monday midnight,, that we give our thanks to those for whom died for us, first being our very own Warrior against all sin, our Jesus, and then our Warrior of our service men,, who gave their all also.. amen John HIcks This weekend ,, Libby and I will be off on an adventure to see our son and daughter-in-law(like a daughter), in North Carolina.. and why do I call it an adventure, for we just don't get out and travel far, only around here through the country side,,so we will see things we have seen, but with a new prospective, once again! Please pray for us to have a safe, and great visit! May all be blessed this day of His, given to us all as a gift,, so don't forget that in your prayers also!

CONFORM TO GOD FIRST!

THURSDAY! You are awake , you are conscious,, by the power of "The one who built you"... God! No if's or butt's about it!! You were made for Him, and a reason, whether you know what that reason is or not.. He does! So pray for His revealing power to instill in you,, for it is to serve Him, and only Him.. have fun, yes , by all means.. have joy, and fun,,, For loving, and serving Him is the most joyous of the times of your life, for with all the births, the good times.. the things of this world,, all from Him by your choice, will make you happy, and a better person, and those that make you sad, are from your choices as to who you associate with here, and you letting satan come into bad situations presented to you,,, for the main character of sad, bad, sin, is satan.. and he is ever-present in your , and in my life, at all times..wanting in, constantly knocking on our doors... so keep the lock of God on your soul!!! SO,, surround yourself with God, and just how do you do that? Just ask Him, and that is all,, so simple , right? Then why not are this Nation, this World doing it? WEDNESDAY! Yes, the ole camel is running around today hollering,, hey look , it's my day! It's my day! You know, some people also run around, yelling that same thing,,, it's my day, to do with as I wish, for I am ....... and so important, I am my own, so look at me! For when it is all done and all over.. you are what you made yourself into, and one day it will be your day, and I hope that all are ready and made that right choice for that day.. for on that day, there will be no more , "likes",,, "you said it right", "I made the choice"!,, for yes you will have made the choice, and it will be yours alone.. ,so today... LOVE OF GOD ,, FIRST!

FRIDAY! TGED! Right? Good morning! God is great,, no doubt about it...and why am I saying this? Has something happened on the news or something that is sweeping the Nation, the world?? NO! Just needed to be said ,, by me, and by a lot of you!! Oh, yes, I am on an opinionated rush today!!! Like me or not, your choice.. for I love my God, and that is what is the MOST important thing in my life! I have two important things on my mind,, The Idea of mocking a person who kneels in public, on a ball field , in front of thousands.... I applaud Him,,,, you go Tim!!!! One of the most un-real news person, who reported more of her own opinion , and pushed more to try to admit to her side of her opinion, and led more of a secret life.. is retiring, so ,,, yes we do have at least a thankful "thing" of a million of this day! (my opinion, you may have yours) Prayer Request: That on this day, this Nation, this World, STOP! and ask God to forgive us of our many sins, have mercy upon us, and pray that He will give us all strength to live as He wants, and not as we want! THE OX AND THE NAT!

HURSDAY! Good morning,, I hope all woke with Him with and beside you on this another of one of His days, on loan to us, for just short time,,, so use it well! Prayer Requests: Continued prayers for the recovery of Sidney Hicks Sharp.. that God will keep smiling on this little 12 year old gladiator of His,,as she heals under His hands. For Kylie Seitz(I think I have the correct name) Surgery is scheduled for today instead of Friday. She is on the schedule for 1:40pm. She will have all hardware in the right leg removed. They will place an antibiotic infused spacer in the place where the rod was. This will stay for two months or so . They will do a biopsy to make sure there is no infection after two months then another surgery to place a new rod after that. It's all very complicated. Please cover her with prayers and please pray for her new surgeon Dr. Nick Reimer. This is another of god's little girls, so pray with all your heart for her!!!! THE OX AND THE NAT! My youngest daughter and her husband calls me the "ox", because of my God given strength of certain things,, like lifting, working long hours, (large, ha) and etc.. even at this age,,,, so here goes the story,, as we all know that God love all the little children, and above we are praying for two above.. Well, yesterday after six , we were over at my daughters home, watching little three year old Noah( the nat, in the title) riding his new bike, a birthday present for he will be four onSaturday,, so he got it early.. and up comes a storm.. thunder way off,, and inside we go.. lots of rain, as he is watching a movie, and out goes the power.... so Dana, grabs her phone, battery low, and outside she goes,, to charge it in the car,, so little Noah says to me, Paw Paw, here is my umbrella.. well the rain has let up some, so big me grabs it and believe it or not, shows him how to spin it around and sing, "Singing In The Rain",,and he laughs, my daughter just shakes her head and laughs also,, and sure enough ,, he grabs it and does the same... so I get a lawn chair and set down, he gets a little lawn chair and sets down next to me, just inside the garage, as we had the door opened,,and I tell him of the rain, and the clouds, the thunder.. and he exclaims to me.. "Paw,,Paw, why does Noah not have any power"? I explained to him of all the scenarios of why,, and then ,, I raise my arm to the Heavens, and I say,, God , send some power to Noah,,, and then he smiles real big , a smile that will tear up your heart to see,,, raises his arm and says loudly,, "Yes, God, send Noah some power for his T.V.!"... and up and off inside he went, so I follow him, and after about five minutes, on comes the power, we all are cheering,, and Noah jumps up ,,, claps his hands, and cheers, and looks at his mother,,, and says "Mommy,, I ask God for power,, and look, He sent it to Noah!"..... now folks,, that giving credit to the one who is the reason for our all.. DO WE KNOW WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR US, IN THE END, WE ARE, JUST AS LITTLE NOAH KNEW WHO SENT THAT POWER,, SO SHOULDN'T WE!!!! RIGHT? Lord, thank You for the "Little Ones" who restores our faith, and gives us so much to be thankful for...amen John HIcks Just had to share that story of a grown up, with a tiny little boy sitting beside him , and talking of things, including God,,, folks we must start these talks at an early age, for you see, they are listening, so beware of what you are saying!! CALL OF TE WILD

WEDNESDAY! Thank You God for this day,, for even though we don't deserve any of Your blessing,,, we are man, and we do take them with humility of Your Love to us! Now, let's all get together in a unison prayer , and give thanks to our Maker, Lord, and God of all! O.K.? Prayer Request: Continue your prayers for Sidney Hicks Sharp, as she goes through this operation on her spine...and I give thanks to my God , for all the responses thus far, and I give thanks in advance to Him , for I know He is there with her, and mother Tonyia, brother Traylor, Grandparents, and the rest of the family..for we have called upon Him, and He will deliver,,, as He wills! THE CALL OF THE WILD! Back in the days of "old",, our forefathers , from the first landing on the beaches of this land, and their trek from there to the sands of the Pacific,, did, night and day, hear these calls,,, for God had set this land up,, and His creation cried for as if they knew ,,their time would be short, as to the roaming of here to there, by "built in honing devices", and "instinct of seasons".... yes built by our God, to feed, clothe themselves with built in coats, and to shed them as seasons demanded it,, food furnished as to the "wild ones",, never waste, but only as life demanded... Live and let live, no wars.. only living,, as He had planned it!!!! NOW, we , if "we" live in places of not so "humanized", may hear as we do here, the waking of the birds early in the morning, a rabbit scrambling to escape the cat, not far behind, the squirrel running here and there ,jumping through the air from one tree to another,, when and if they can find a clump of trees!!! Others, in large towns, have only their pigeons... and the sound of their wild is traffic of vehicles, and the chatter of people! Today, we listen to all around us, but do we listen to what is inside of us? do we listen to the call of God.... who made this other call of the wild,, yes our "Call of the wild" today is our surrounding of where we are,, BUT,, THAT OTHER CALL IS WITHIN,,, AND IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT CALL OF ALL TO LISTEN TO...ARE YOU LISTENING?,,, OR ARE YOU ONLY LOOKING! Lord, I ask that You be with Sidney, care for her, and Lord, I ask for You to be with each of us, and Lord, I ask for You to send a miracle to her this day..by just the waving of Your little finger, or just a small breath of air,, but Yours, ..And to give us the peace on this Earth, good air, and love as You designed Her for us.. amen John HIcks Servant to a real and live God, and the ONLY GOD !,, and so proud to serve,,, will you serve with me, beside me, each and every day? I ask again, will you commit or will you slide down,,, and never grow wings?

TUESDAY! A crazy start,all are,,,, but good morning to all! What a wonderful day it is today! Whether you are young, jumping up and around, middle age, wondering how old age is going to effect you.. or you are already blessed with old age, and you ain't up and jumping around, just glad to get up , stretch the kinks out, get those two things call muscles, the one in your head, and the one (that feels like just one,) in the body to respond to the mind which says , you old goat, it's daytime, get up and go have a cup of coffee, tea, whiskey, or whatever it is that you drink in the morning at an old age, for what is it going to do to harm you at this age? .. Yes, I feel great , that we , at an older age are blessed to be here, for we have seen so much change, so much corruption, from our early years and yes, even now... politicians are politicians, and I guess they always will be.. & sometimes wonder just what they will offer God when they appear before Him.. and will it include God, or will He still have to stay under Obama-Care? Ha... Why am I writing about all this today,, is for one reason,, WE, at what ever age are blessed... blessed to be living in this Nation.. free ,, to a point, better than any other I know, so I have decided to stay,,,,and enjoy what I served for... for I feel like I have a right to do so,,, and even if you did not fight outside our borders, you fought here, so , yes , you have just as much right.. for the battle fields was and is the same, our land, and our freedom... So young , pick up your phone-computer, and go out and enjoy the world, middle age, pick up your phone-computer, go out into the world and try to act like you know all about it.. and are sooo smart,,, and all of you my age or older, just pick up your behind, and get out on the the porch and as my friend Wanda said to me.. I am going to think of times of old, when playing games was done between each other, and not between fb, tweets, or face time, for our face time is between two peole that is right there! !! Yes we are gong to put down the phone, for we can't even get a dial tone anymore anyway, and do just what God will let us do, and do it in style and that is LAUGH AND FEEL GREAT TO BE WITH GOD TODAY, in the hear an now!! so don't you laugh at this today, for if God wills it, and God must will it, for it to happen to you also,,, for ,,,, YOU TOO,,, WILL SOMEDAY, BE OLD!!! God, thank You for our all...amen John HIcks Old, and not acting at all like an old man! Ha! My wife says I act like a child, and I say God bless you, for I feel like one,, well sometimes.. Prayer Request for a young man who is making time,, and I ask all of you to pray for this young man to have a reduced time in this part of his life..

MOM'S DAY!!!!

SUNDAY! MOTHERS DAY! Wow! Just what is a "MOTHER"? First, she became a wife,, sometimes,, and had to start that part of her life training him,,, how to behave, how to be good, how to dress, when to take a bath(for he just goes on and on working, till the flowers wilt!) Now , she finally gets this done.. and thank God , in most cases , she had her Mother-In-Law to help have him, Husband<, trained to a certain degree! THEN, ALONG COMES ONE, TWO OR MORE LITTLE ONES!!!! Now , her life changes forever, and she knows nothing of ones self! She slaves from light to dark, then from dark to light,, each day, 365 days a week,,, and mostly all she hears are three words,,, Momma! Hungry! This not working, fix it, now! and oh yes, later in life, I just don't have anything new to wear, or it's not washed ,, oh it's still dirty, and I just decided I want to wear it, or gosh, they are only blue jeans, they don't get dirty, and why do I have to take a shower,,, I just smell great,, and natural! Yes! That is only a few things, Moms' do... for I have not the time nor the page to tell of the other million things she does for her siblings, and her old man!!! and her? Oh she never gets a day off, but how,, I don't know, but just keeps on shoving out that thing called love and caring!!! A mother is like the "Energy Bunny",, just keeps on keeping on!!!!! SHE IS SUPERWOMAN, SPIDER-WOMAN, ALL WRAPPED UP IN ONE!!!,,, COMPLAIN? WHAT GOOD WOULD IT DO.. SHE STILL IS MOM! NOW, THIS DAY IS HERS',, SO TREAT HER LIKE YOU DON'T DO ALL YEAR,,, SHOW HER THE LOVE SHE DESERVES,, FOR WITHOUT HER,,, THERE WOULD BE NO YOU! SO STRAIGHTEN UP CHILDREN! God, thank You for Mothers, for us Children, Husbands and Dads,. could not do without them,,, we love You for making and giving them to us,,, and we love them unconditionally!!! amen John HIcks A child from one of the most wonderful Mothers a boy could ever want,,and I say to her , in Heaven this day,, Happy Mothers Day, Mom,, from your son, here on earth, to join you later,,,, because of you!!! and Happy Mothers Day to the Mother of my children,,, you are tops in all that their is!!!! GETTING A GRIP!

SATURDAY! Hope all wake up to their first day of their week-end with their God by their side! and by REQUEST! Well? Prayer requests: For all those in need this day,,, may God shine His love and healing upon you, and your family! IN THE GRIP OF GRACE Then you will know the Truth and the truth will make you free. John 8:32 Sin put you prison, Then Jesus came and paid your bail..He served your time, He satisfied the penalty, and set you free. Christ died, and when you cast your lot with Him ,,, Your old self died too. When Jesus died, so did your sins once you believe in Him , and accept Him.. Accept Him,, be sin free,, be where we all should be..... IN THE GRIP OF GRACE,, HIS, JESUS CHRIST, OUR SAVIOR! God, thank You for Jesus,, and for His salvation of all of us who come to Him, and You,, and may you look at our prayer request and may Your will be done. amen John HIcks It is hard for us to follow Gods' path when it is a sad happenings to us,, we tend to celebrate the good..but we need the faith,, both times... dark, and light,, for He is the beginning, and He is the end.. so have the faith,,,and fall to your knees and let's pray for all above. and our churches, and our nation also. MOMS'

FRIDAY! TGIF-TGED!!!! This morning, I am going to start off with an article that will make some mad, some glad, some will probably write me off,, but as a servant of my belief.... this will be short(if God decides for it to be)... First! A Prayer Request: For Lori Passmore, who has found out that her left wrist is broken,, and she is off to the ortho. dr. today to see what is to be done.. pray for a quick recovery, and God's help with this injury! MOMS! This Sunday will be a celebration of all MOMS! It is the biggest day of phone usage of each year.. the biggest celebration,, just third in relation to Christmas, and Easter, and it should be! Now , what is the message of this day,,, what can you give your mom for mothers day? A big hug, a big kiss, and a big thank you, and a bigger I love you(and mean it).. that THIS LADY IS YOUR MOTHER! There is no other,, SHE CHOOSE,, yes choose to give you birth, by the grace of God, who allowed this birth! She choose to be with a man as a mate with God, to have you, and did not make a decision to go to a hospital, or an alley, and cut you from her... she choose the "right to live " decision, and that is why you ,,, YES YOU!,,,, need to grab her and hold her tight, and say those words to her this Sunday, and every day you can,,, MOM, THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING TO HAVE ME! PERIOD!!! NOTHING ELSE MATTERS, FOR YES,,, SHE HAD YOU!!! and this is the only MOM you will ever have,,, God, thank You for all the Mothers , who choose life for that life within their bodies, from conception to actual birth,,,, a new live soul,,, Yours, God, and I say thank You God, and all of Your Mothers! amen John HIcks Said, believe in it, and will not falter of my beliefs from anyone, I stand firm, once conceived , life has started!!!! For my God has told us all, life starts at conception, between a man and a woman! AND THAT IS THE TRUTH!!!!!

Priscription From God!

THURSDAY! Good Thursday morning to all! as I awoke this morning, felt the ache of all my muscles, and the hurt of that old real pain, in my back,,, and as I climbed out of that bed,, made my coffee,, looked at those pills for my pain,, that felt like I was going to break apart, if I took another step,,,Then I made a decision.. I said to my own self,,, "If I believe in God, why do I turn to a pill before I turn to Him?" So right there, I prayed this ,,, " I will go forward, drink my cup, do my thoughts,let God do His thing,, and then come back to that little pill. if I need the relief,,but now that the thoughts are almost done.... I just don't feel that hard pain now,,," I wonder what happen? Do You? Well. I think I will have another cup, and just think of how good my God is..How about you? Prayer Request: For all those girls kidnapped by those terrible terrorists... and may the girls rescued,, and the terrorists, will receive their own terror! PRESCRIPTION! Are you sick? Have you been sick at all ? Sure you have, and so have I. We all have gone to the doctor,, had him check us out.. make a diagnosis,, then he or she will usually give us a prescription to help heal what ails us. After we start taking it, and in a few days we are feeling better and then we are well , and ready for life again. How about your religious health? Is it well,, are you doing good, in testifying, being an example,, or are you limping around with a stiff tongue,, and a head held down,, with satans words coming out? If so,, then you are as sick as one can ever be,, for you are not only endanger of death, but eternal death... You need to call upon the great doctor,, the Lord God on High,, If you will visit with Him,, and let Him,, He will heal you,, and you don't have to wait for a day or two, nor a week. He will give you a prescription,, written in blood and on wrote on a wooden cross,, it is His Son, Jesus Christ. When you fill this prescription, by just opening your mouth,, and your heart,, and give Jesus a holler, and ask Him to receive you , and be your personal Savior,, give Him your soul,, INSTANTLY,, you will feel the warmth and the healing of the heart and soul,, you will be healed to the utmost,, you have just received eternal life through the only path available.. Exciting? Yes, the most exciting thing you will ever have happen to you. So are you sick of satan and his ways to eternal damnation? Then go ahead ,, hit the knees,, open your mouth and call out to God and ask for your own personal PRESCRIPTION! (from a previous post, but I was moved to re-post... maybe He felt like we all needed a refill!) JESUS CHRIST! LOVING ONE ANOTHER!

WEDNESDAY! Yes, today as we awake , with the Lord, by choice, I pray that all have a great day, and that all go out into His day today with His name upon your lips to all you meet! I don't mean go out preaching, or just acting like a Christian, go out being a real Christian, so others can see, and build from you,,, yes you, for we, you, are the best way to spread the gospel of our Lord that I know, and it is also the best way to tear it down! Now , think , upon reading this , this day, just what, and how will you carry out your day! Also remember,, those things, that are left undone(love of one another),, can fester into a full bloom infection of the soul!!!,, so beware of holding those "little petty things",,, inside, love one another with abandonment of a little puppy dog whom you have neglected ,,, and when you walk up, they act like you have done noting wrong. all is forgiven, and they are ready for some love and start over....why can't humans do this? They can, if they REALLY PUT JESUS FIRST, AND FOREMOST! Lord , I ask that you jolt these affected with the above, and turn their love energy back to one another. FAMILY

TUESDAY! Good morning! I am up early, slept in my ole recliner first,, then off to bed for an short sleep! That is what happens when you retire! You work all day,, then sooooo tired after supper that you just crash,,, and zzzzzz! It is the truest thing of all,, but my work was making crosses, so it was a really satisfying type of work, so I am really glad to be tired!!! The good Lord has allowed us to put out over 130,000 crosses as a witness to Him,, at no cost ...for He (Jesus has already paid the price),, so keep on, keeping on, praying for us! PRAYER REQUEST: That all families will remain families, as of old,,, for as they scatter, and the old dies off,,, then it is too late to be all together, so I pray for all families to set down to the table , eat together, pray together , and talk of God as they converse with one another ,, not just of worldly things and goods..I say let's all try this,, turn the phones, t.v.'s off, and lets all talk,, to each other, and to God! That is this ones,, prayer request... so let's pray! For the return of all those young girls, who was kidnapped and are headed for some sort of hellish slavery! May they be found, and the kidnaper's punished! soooo busy!!!!! or are we???? CHOICE!!!!

MONDAY! Well, we are off to a new start of a new week! Now, we all make great decisions this day, as we make this start,,, do we go with God at our side, or do we just start and walk out the door, with only ourselves? Yes, it is of great concern,, that all will make the right choice, for God gave us this thing called "Choice", and there are a lot making good ones. and some are making bad ones,, just remember all those choices are being recorded, not on your phones,, fb,,, or any computer,, but in the "Book of Life,, of Your Life",, and that one is located in His Mansion,, and there is but one eraser,, only one,, who can correct all those bad choices we have made, and that is JESUS CHRIST,,, SOOOO,, DID YOU MAKE THE CORRECT DECISION THIS DAY,,, OF HIM! As we rode through the FDR park yesterday, and as we looked across those vast forests of mountains , and all those cliffs so close to the little road.. across the valleys, seeing miles from us other mountains, clothed in large pines.. and maybe that little spot is a ranger station, but no roads, only the nature of God, even with some hikers possibly enjoying the climbs , up and down, and as we cleared the park, we noticed a small house built right on the edge of one of those cliffs, with the back being held only up by stilts..... then on down the road , a really large house, built on the side of a cliff also.. and as we looked back,, we could see the top deck , the second deck, and could not see the bottom deck,,, but this complete back of this house ,, held up by stilts also... wow, what faith these two have in common as they walk about, and lay their heads down to sleep,,of those stilts to hold them up and safe!..... and do we have enough faith that those two pieces of wood, made into a cross, and a man named Jesus was hung and killed on them, that He was raised, and is our comfort and faith to walk about and to lay our heads down each day?..... Wake up each day, and if not, we awake joined with Him in His Fathers Mansion, Heaven? Do we have that faith? Have we made that CHOICE OF FAITH?,,,,,, THAT OF JESUS CHRIST, IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE OUR SAVIOR! Lord, I pray for all to come to Jesus, this day, and live with Him at their side , and not delay, until it is too late. amen John HIcks Servant only!

LISTEN TO THE ALARM!

SUNDAY!!!! Welcome to the sabbath day,,,, the birds are singing,,, nature is up ,,, awake and letting its' existence be known!! Are you letting yours be known to the right one? TURN OFF THE ALARM? You are asleep,,,, when you hear that pesky little annoyance that irritates over 98% of the people in the USA. It is the sound of ,,, not music,,, but that sound that says,,, wake up!!! It could care less if you are still sleepy,,, whether you want a few more minutes to sleep,,, it just does not care! OH! You decide ,,,, well I can just hit the snooze button,,, ha! I can get some more zzzz's... but!!!!! Here it comes again,,, that irritating sound,,, buzz,, buzz,,, buzz,,, it says get up,, or you will be late!!!! Now,, that is my thoughts exactly,,, wake up ,,, don't even snooze,, don't oversleep,,, for if you don't wake up and hear the alarm our Father is sounding,,, we might all sleep right past our salvation. God has sent us His Son,, Jesus to erase our sins,,, IF we will accept Jesus as our personal savior,, give Him our heart and soul,,, yes,,, a way to eternity,,, no more hurts,, fears,,, only peace and tranquility! What more can we ask for? So listen,,, don't hit snooze,,, don't turn it off,,,open your eyes,,, get up ,,, then back down on your knees,,, invite Jesus into your life,,, if you have already done this,,, and you are saying,, ha! I can sleep late,, no alarm for me,,, well ,,, stop,,, rededicate your life for none of us are perfect ,, yet! Now back to that little sound you hear buzzing in your ear,,, please answer the warning with prayer of asking,,,just don't TURN HIS ALARM OFF! ACCEPTING,, WILL GIVE YOU PEACE OF SOUND! ARE YOU READY?

THURSDAY!!! A very good morning to all,,, after a great nights rest,, a cup of java, and looking at all the troubles our country has,, yes I went to fb while drinking my coffee,,, I am going to stop and thank God for His job,, I always knew it was biggest, greatest,, but after reviewing fb,,, I know He has a bigger job than even I ever thought He had,, So , today, if you are of sane mind, good health, or alive, stop, and pray that God gave you some of those blessing He is passing out,, Yes, I know He is still at work, for I know my heart is beating, and my lips are turned up,,, not down... now have a great day, and Thank Your God, the REAL GOD of all!!!! Prayer Requests: Today , my heart is heavy, for family of these reported below, for today I report of two who have gone to Jesus..and yet my heart is of good cheer for they have made their trip,, my heavy heart if for those love ones that still are left, and must make this trip.. One of Barry Cooks family,, pray for this family, for I know this family, & one of his sons,, and I know that know of these two, that all the rest of this family must be great, for these two are .... pray for God to be with them all. Betty Mae,, Whose suffering has stopped, and she is whole once again... she is gone from this world, joined God last night,, but praise God for caring so much,, that He choose to grab her, and give her release from here to there with Him, relieve her of all pain... May all who is next to Betty Mae, be of good cheer, and smile for God's choice,, even that friend who loved her sooo much!! ARE YOU READY TO DIE, AND WHEN WILL HE RETURN This is short , but worthy after the learning of the above.. for we walk around as if we are never going to leave this life!,,, Wrong!,, I am sorry to report to you who does not believe this,, but yes we are all going to die,, we just don't know when! So, to answer this question, "are you ready?",, I say, "Be ready at all times, for He will come like a thief in the night, and we never know when our candles light,, will cease here, so live as if it is now, but live without worry, and live with happiness, live with Him in your heart,, for if you do know Him, you may die here , but you will live there, forever." Next question,, When will He return? It could be this instance, before I quit writing, or maybe a day, a week, a year, for a day to Him is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day... so actually, with this statement,, He has only been crucified, and rose and back in Heaven for two years.. and when,, only the Father knows.. so as the above paragraph, live for the day, BUT live with Him in your heart, and your soul promised to Him,,, accept Him now, and then will not matter when of the two above things occur,, I hope I have been a little help of those who wonder! ARE YOU READY TO DIE, AND READY FOR HIS RETURN? ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR, THEN STOP WORRYING, AND LIVE HERE WITH HIS GUIDE IN YOUR HEART, BUT LIVE, TESTIFY OF HIM ,BE TRUE TO HIM AND LIVE ,, UNTIL ....... WEDNESDAY! Good morning! This morning I awoke, stretched, got a cup of coffee,, thank my God for all I have, for I realized as I was wondering of our weather, of all those who are walking around with nothing left but splinters!!! We need to be praying for them, for I have seen on T.V. some real testomonies,,of God and survival! Why does God do these storms,,I do not ask, I only obey, for I know that HE KNOWS the why, and it is not for me to judge. So as I drink my coffee,, I pray for them and thank Him for our all,,, for someday, we will all understand, for now, I just accept Him, do you? Prayer Request: For Betty Mae, surgery has been set aside again, vitals too low... loads and loads of pain! I ask for Betty to be rid of all the pain,, and that God prevails of all her sufferings...God Bless you , my good friend! DO WHAT YOU MUST , AND LET THOSE WHO CRITICIZE, CRITICIZE! I have found out that no matter what you do, you will be criticized,, good and bad! I usually get more bad, because of my overly opinionated words.. written and spoken,, but I just trust in the Lord to lead me,, right on through it all! If we would put our God, our Jesus and our family first, take care of what needs to be take care of ,,, in HIS name,, then if we are criticized, then let it come!! I can handle it.. I am going to make a statement on "racism",, it still seems to be the trend... first,, let's make this word,, leave the dictionary,, and then it would be no more, it would be how, and should be of how we treat each other...and I thank that is the case, overall...We have more love of each other,,, than reported,,, but sure we have some idiots, who say the wrong things and put color in them, and the press eats it up,, and keeps it going, for that is their business,,,.. but let's get pass this,,, and remember what I replied to a young man who came to see me and to tell me of his new job,, and one of the things he told me was of all the different races he was working with... I quickly stopped him, and told him to think of it as not many races, but that of many souls,,for we all have one, and we are all made from God! PARKING SPACE

SUNDAY! Good morning! As you awake and start your day this day,,, please stop, and thank God for it! and then be off to a great day, and oh yes , as you are thanking Him for the day,,, please ask Him to accompany you,, on your day's journey! Prayer Request: For Felecia and Kimberly, who lost their sister in a car accident yesterday! Pray for God to comfort them at this time, and also their parents. PARKING SPACE! Back in 2010, I wrote an article call "Parking Lot ANGEL"...and this week , I was reminded of this as I watched the news. People were fighting over parking places at Walmart, Target, ball games, other events! Yes, actual fights,, as one was standing in an open space for someone to drive around and return to it.. another tries to run over him, and then curses him, and finally, out of the car, and fist flying, as the law had to be called in! and there were more, women also was just as vocal , and violet as men! As this Nation is mostly over-weight, as I am,, we all need to park as far from our calorie palaces,, and do some walking,, , we all could use a little "fat" burning, and as best as I remember,, all of my fights left some very sore places on all parts of my body,, so I had rather walk than fight! Now for the kick of this story, of another angel... as I watched the parking spaces for the handicap,, I just looked at all of the cads, lexes, big cars, and people getting out of them , and walking better than I, like a teen, smiling as they walk in...and why am I bringing this up?,, For as I gaze down the aisles,,, about 20 spaces or more from the door,,, in drives an older car, with a handicap sticker on it... drives on in to that far away space, you know the one at the far end of the lot? Then, from that little old car,, steps a man of about 80, with a cane, barely able to walk, gets out and walks to the other side , holds the door open and out comes this little old woman of about the same age and then,,, with his arm out for his wife, who has a cane also, and both walking very slow towards the store,, a person is heard asking ... why didn't you use that space up there? (handicap space),, and as both of them smiles,, the old man says, "Oh, that is for someone who may not be able to walk to the door very good,,, or not at all.. YES, THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE WHO ACT LIKE PEOPLE, REAL PEOPLE! ABLE, AND WILLING, AND THINKING OF OTHERS, NOT THEMSELVES.. so if you are one of those who uses a handicap place,, and are not handicaped, stop, remember that little old man and woman,, and that vacant spot ,, give it up, and smile and walk,,,for some can't ! Lord, thank You for the insight of some people ,and help those who do not use theirs, to open not only their eyes, but their hearts. amen John HIcks Have a great God's day, as they all are!

SATURDAY! Good morning! Hope all woke up this morning , ready and willing to take God with them from start to finish,,and that is 24/7,, with no real finish...how about it? Ready to start today? Prayer Request: For Angeline Hughes, who will be having her heart stopped, then restarted, so she can have more oxygen to her heart. Please pray for her and that God will be the stopper, and the starter, is our prayer. TREASURES! You can have the treasures of the Queen of England,, the treasures of all the sheiks of Arabia,, the wealth of the greatest diamond mine in Africa,, all the gold out of the biggest gold mine in the world,, and then you can have the love of the Son of God,,, which one will you take? Will you take the chance of one over the other,, one for life here,, or life after,, which one will go through the eye with you? Which one will go with you to the grave? Which one will be a victor over the grave with you,, and give you life eternal? Well, here we are with that word again ,, "choice".. I have made mine and I invite all who will listen, to come, and join me in the treasures of the heart and of life,, the treasure of my Jesus Christ, His saving power, His love of me , even to give His life for me.... and I did not have to do but one thing to get this treasure,, and that is ask for it,,believe in Him,, and bam! I am the richest person on this green, God's earth! How about it,, want to ride on my treasure ship with me?? Then do the same,, accept Him and be richer than rich! Come and take Him,, and with Him,,, take all of the offered riches of His Father ,, the greatest of all the TREASURES! THE FATHER ,,, OUR GOD! God, thank You for giving us this treasure ,, just for the taking,, Your sacrifice,, our way to You.. amen John HIcks I believe! Apr 24 THURSDAY! Welcome to this day,, another given not by man, but of Him,,, and I ask , do you this day know Him? If you don't, then call out for Him, He will come running! and if you do, then go tell the story to at least one other,,,, or more!!! O.K.? And don't worry about the looks you get when you are testifying, for most are listening,,, for a reason!! Thank about it, and do it more often! Prayer Request: Betty May, who is in the hospital with great pain, they finally xrayed her hip and found it was fractured! Please pray for her relief and healing! FOR THIS DAY IS YOURS, ENJOY IT,, AND LOVE ONE ANOTHER ! We, today of all of my time, I see plans made as if we are here forever... wrong... not to be a darkening moment of your life this great day,,, but we all must be ready,,, that is all I say,, for God said also, to always be ready! Right? Well, do you believe in Him? Look to tomorrow as His will,,, and when you ask,, ask for that will, not yours, for I am afraid that we pray for too much of ourselves of want, of what others have! Be of love of what you have, and praise Him for it, whether it be big, or be little,, for all is His! FLYING THE COOP,,, 04/15/14

TUESDAY! And as I opened my eyes, I felt Him,, standing guard, and I smiled, for there He sat as I closed my eyes last night, and my guard was still on duty through the night! Oh, my God is so wonderful, for as I slept, He was showing others His might with a show of the Blood Moon", and you were blessed if you got to see this great event!,, for it shows as I just stated, He is here, He is alive, and He is well!!! Right? Prayer Request: That the Jewish People have a safe and wonderful Passover without the "nuts" trying to show their brainless acts... It is a free country, and I pray that God will continue to let it stand! Pray for those remaining from that crazed outburst of a satan coming forth.. and that they all will continue to keep God in their heart, and all of us also! FLYING THE COOP! There comes a time when we must close our eyes, let the tears slowly flow down our cheeks, as we watch our children leave the nest! It is a plan of Gods.. that we teach them right and wrong, and as they learn, we pray they learn that God is first, God is real, Jesus is Alive, and that He is the only way to Heaven... others deserve to be treated as they want to be treated, where these others let them do this,, some will marry, some will serve their country, some will go straight to a local job,,, move into their own apartment, or home, set up their life,,, and then they also will carry on the plan that God has set forth!!! For as I see the birds hard at work making their nests,,, and as time goes through the summer, I remember seeing those little birds looking over the nest,, and I surmise , thinking , wow, that is a long way down. BUT out and fly they do... and then as spring comes, I see them light on our fence and chirp as if to say, hey we are home!!! So ,. remember , as you teach and let yours fly away from the warmth of the nest,, send them out with GOD IN THEIR HEART, JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR AND THEN SIT ON YOUR PORCH,,, AND WATCH THEM AS THEY COME BACK TO VISIT,, AND ALL ARE CHIRPING AT ONCE,, OF LOVE AND MEMORIES... SO FLY, BUT FLY WITH GOD!!! God , thank You for giving our children You, Jesus as they fly out of the nest to Your world, on their own.. amen John HIcks Flown, and yes, I thank my God, for my mother and my father! Do you?

TALES OF OLD!

FRIDAY! Good morning! As I awake to serve my Lord, I awake thankful to Him for this day,,, my family, my friends, my freedom, those who make this freedom with His help,, and I pray this day, that all will re-do yesterday,,, and pray Nationally today, somewhere, somehow,, and give your "real" thanks for your freedom, for I know some work, some can't ,, but most, just don't, but if it is to write, yes they can, ,,yes, I am still stinging of the low turn out for National Day of Freedom, and as my children would say, o.k. Dad,, enough, get over it... yes it is enough, and get over it,, only on the outside for the inside is still praying, will you join me? PRAYER REQUEST: For the continued freedom of the USA, and for God to continue to give us all , in this world, His forgiveness of our many, many sins! REFLECTIONS:(long today, so be ready) This morning I was lead to remember the my first church, Flint Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Vinemont , Alabama. This was a wooden church,, with a big steeple with a bell in the tower. It had two wings on the back side, a pot bellied stove just to the right of the pulpit... and the outside color was of coarse, white, and it seemed always in need of a new coat! We had a pulpit, with 2 benches in the back for a choir(we did not have) and that pulpit area had wooden "deck fence" around it, with two swinging doors as entries. The actual pulpit, to a little fella like me, was as tall as a skyscraper... and the Preacher looked as big as a giant! We always had Sunday School.. and our classes was those two rooms on the right and left of the church, and they were divided by a close line wire, with sheets , so we had two class areas in each room. and the a wire across the front to close of the front ... and the adult classes were in the middle of the church at the front...and right below the pulpit was the table that held the collection plates, and a hand bell, with a wooden handle.. and at 10:55 a.m., the Sunday School Superintendent, would ring that bell telling all the teachers , Sunday school was over.. and they would pull back the curtain, and older ones would step down and casually go to their favorite seats.. and the young-ins, would stampede ,, free, and out with a rush only to me looked at by their parents with that certain look, and walked slowly to set beside them,, free for just a minute, but quiet for an hour! After all the "before preaching" things were done, the preacher would open his Bible , read an article and ask the Chairman of the Deacons to pray, and he would always reply, with, "my pleasure", and get up and walk to the front of the pulpit, kneel and pray straight to God, for you could just hear it in his voice! Then , the preacher would preach, loud, no sleeping in that church , and always ended his sermon, usually with jacket off, tie loosen, and sweating, in front of that table in front of the pulpit..and we would have prayer, a song of invitation to come and accept Jesus Christ,, then if someone did come forward, we had an acceptance by the church , and a flow of all to that person or persons, with the right hand of fellowship,,, then dismissal prayer... and the the best of the kids, for the parents stood around and talked for about half an hour, and us kids would run and laugh, around some of the cars , and the wagons and horses, buggies,,, then we, my family lived in "walking distance" so we heard the cry of "Come Kid, let's go home!" and off we ran, for today was even more special , for Mom, and Sister , Bebe would have gotten up early enough to fry that chicken, and after we got home, Mom would cover that old homemade table with the most pretty table cloth, and the biggest and bestis dinner of all... Now folks, that is the tale of my first church, and it is the truth, of times of old, but not forgotten ,and we need more of it!!!! TALES OF THE PAST, THAT WE NEED IN THE NOW! God, thank You for these memories of this church, and the biggest thing of all I remember is....it was for real,, YOUR CHURCH! amen John HIcks Just a grown little kid from Flint Creek Missionary Baptist Church, in in Vinemont , Alabama,, (and the reason for the whole name is, my Momma, always told us kids , if anyone should ask you where you went to church, you tell them that name, complete, not a word more, nor a word less).
