Thoughts for Today

FRIDAY! TGIF,, and on this very date, November 28, 1964,,, 50 years ago, it was TGIS,, for it was on a Saturday, that the Lord God joined Libby and I, Husband and Wife,,, and yielded us His love, and gave us three wonderful children, and great help mates to each of them, and four grandchildren,,, and I just don't understand how anyone could have any love at all, for it seems as if HE gave it all to us.. for even through all our tribulations,,,,, HE has held this bond, of love of each other , HIS strength, has kept us high and dry,,,,, HIS believing in us and HIS forgiving us of our many, many shortcomings.... as we all have..for with Him , do we understand this one thing,, WE ARE HERE ,,BECAUSE OF HIM, AND FOLKS ,THERE IS NO ARGUMENT OF THIS, HIS HAPPENING! So, today, men, grab that woman you love, and tell her you love her.. and every morning as we have done, even when we were separated by work,,, we told each other this, every morning, and every night.for we were on the phone to each other..and we also thanked our God each morning for His rising of us, and every night of His laying us to sleep for the night,, so,, these thoughts today are a tribute to these fifty years, not to us,,, but TO OUR LORD AND GOD!!!! (And one little note: there is no way Libby could have done all this without His help..and that is just putting up with this ole boy! Thank you honey, for just being you... love you,,forever and ever,,, amen,,,) John HIcks And today , that's it folks!!!!!
