BE THANKFUL, AND BE HUMBLE!

THURSDAY! First , Good Morning to all!! Thank God first,,,, for all for our all this day, as we open our eyes from His care through the night! Now,, let's all bow our heads, pray for those who are cold this very morning, and do not have the means to get warm, have shelter, clothing to keep their bodied warm as we all have in our comfortable homes.. for if you have never been out there in the wet, cold trenches of this type weather ,,,,, you thank you know, but not really..and my heart goes out to those there,,, and I pray , and I again ask each of you to pray with me, that if God needs to take from us to give to them, then let it happen...will you pray this with me? God, take care of those in need of heat this cold day of Yours, and Lord give them warmth, and take from me if You choose to warm these cold souls... and God I thank You for my all,,, for You are the caretaker of us all,,,, there are none bigger, richer, poorer, smarter, more important in Your eyes,,, for we are all the same.. .let us all know this as we pray humbly to You,,,again,, Thank You God, for my all!!!! Prayer Request: Please pray for Dick Hardy, who live just outside of Yatesville,, as He fights colon cancer,,,, and pray that our God will touch Him and heal him! Pray for the family that stands strong beside him also...thank you all!!! Pray for all those in Paris, who have lost love ones,,, and that they find these terrorists! John HIcks This morning, as I searched my brain for "The Thoughts For Today",,, and I prayed to my God for "what?", my brain was empty(yes,, as usual, but fun is fun),,, and all the time it was right there in my heart, and in my brain,,, "Pray for others,, be thankful of what I have, and let others know of this gift, and all the gifts He has given us...and praying for those who need Him, that they will cry out to Him,,,,and in His loving ways, He will run to them as He deems to be needed! Yes, He never fails,,, What do you think, really? Will you even comment ,,,, or will you just go on about your way,, or will you agree to pray?

WEDNESDAY! Burr! Run camel run!! Find that heated room! It is cold here, and I pray that those without heat, a place to get warm & will find a place to stay...if you see a homeless... get that person a big coat,, or a warm place, a hot meal, or something hot to drink!!! Pass on YOUR blessings! As I woke up, and went to the "hut",, to pray and drink our coffee,,, we were warm, and I am only now asking God to protect those who are in need of warmth,,,as we,, who are blessed,,, don't think of this while we are ,,as we were,,, sitting in a warm place, with a hot cup of coffee..praying our thanks ,,,but forgetting to pray for that person under a bridge, in a ditch, in a vacant house, with not heat, a ragged, thin coat,,, AND WITH CHILDREN!,,, and we set on our sorry butts praying and thanking God for our own blessings ,,, and not including those in need,,,, we all need to thank God, YET we need to pray hard for those in need!!! Yes, I am confessing of being self-centered.. and I pray to God that I, and we all change and pray for those who need Him fo,,, for He has answered us, cared fior us,,,so let's ask Him to help them also,, and take away from us to cover them, can you do this??? ,,,,,,,, for if we pray, HE WILL ANSWER!!! This morning, I started to just not write a word, for nothing came to my mind,, I thought of all the things of yesterday, as I put a protection around a porch that my fat _____ could barely squeeze in.... and as Libby watched, and could not do much because of her arm,,, and as I was puffing, and had barely gotten out of the space.. I had one thing left to do, and that was put up a piece of wood to prop up the piece I had finally gotten up,,, , and I needed to put a screw in it,, and the the second one to hold it up... I turned to Libby and I said,, I need a third hand,,, God help me please,,,, and as I said this,,,, we witnessed this:!!! that small piece of board, as I it raised up , right into place and it held, for a good long time,, when I turned it loose ,, then I got a screw, and put it in!!! Then I said to Libby,, well , there He was, God was my third hand,,, we have these little things that happen, and we see, but we need to let People know, God works little things also.... not just the parting of the seas, and etc.. so look, ,listen, and pray, (or talk to Him), for He is always there! Now, as I finish this,, I can say, YES,, He does use my finger for testimony! Do you believe? or do you just think I am crazy,, for it does not matter, for I will not change my belief, nor my trust in Him!! Have a great day! John HIcks WOW! THINK , BEFORE YOU WAG THAT TONGUE!

TUESDAY! And a very, very good morning to all of you, and I pray , that as you asked God to be with you at the start of your day, that you also invite Him to be with you all through the day, and that you remember this,,,, as you open your mouth, and let your tongue wag!!!!,, THINK ABOUT THAT ASKING BEFORE YOU WAG! This is one of the hardest thing for us "humans " to do! AND,,, I am probably one of the worst!,,,,,, but I keep praying for God to guard my tongue on the negative, and keep me on the positive! It is hard to do ,,,, at times,,,for as you listen, read,,,,then you hear, and you see through a lot of things.. and am I like this, a choice the one listening or reading my thoughts, or talking to me, will have to make! Remember,,, only one can judge me, and all others,,,, and later in time we will all find out if we did right or we did not!!!! So ,,,, until then let's all of us,,, DO THE BEST JOB OF DOING WHAT GOD WANTS US TO DO!!! NOT WHAT WE WANT TO DO! Lord, I ask that You touch this world, bring us all back to You, forgive us of our many sins, for yes I am a sinner, and I forgive all who have sinned against me.. and I ask for the healing of all those in need this day,,,, amen John HIcks May all be blessed and have a great of another of God's Gift of another day!!!!...

YOUR SCHEDULE!

MONDAY! The start of another week! Have you made your plans for this day, and this week? Did you include God in any of your plans, or did you put Him at the top of your list,, to thank Him first in the morning, middle of the day, and as you lay your head on the pillow...for your all.. for without Him, you would not only, not have anything, but you would not even exist!!! Think about this,, and then,,, maybe re-plan your schedule! Prayer Request: For that special person out there who needs God for healing, and pain, please pray for this special person! From Millie: Last night,,,just called Bonnie. She went home late last night. She was called sometime early this morning, Donald has taken a change for the worse. He was transferred to another room out of er. He has been diagnosed with the flu and a bad case of pneumonia. He is talking out of his head not knowing them or where he is part of the time. He is extremely sick. Bonnie sounds exhausted. She, herself, has been sick for a couple of weeks. Donald is very sick....... BUT I know that God is Able to do exceedingly above all that we could ever ask or think. Thank you very much. Lord, may all make a schedule of their life with you at the helm...at all times...amen John HIcks Sometimes, short is better than long! Have a great and blessed day, for I thank God for my all this very minute of this very day!! so make a choice, God or satan! Your choice! Please , don't forget to share!

YES! YOU ARE BLESSED!

UNDAY! The day, God set aside to rest! And to work , only "if the ox is in the ditch", does one need to work on this day! You must make the decision of your "ox"! Work is viewed in so many ways , one must make his own decisions, and I have mine, and I change them sometimes to suit me,, so we all have our own "ox's! I just ask one thing , consult our God for all your "decisions"! Prayer Requests: for all those in need of God, in their special way, and their special needs! Pray for His will to be done first and foremost, then pray as you feel! ARE YOU BLESSED! Yes, we are! For we live in the most powerful , the most plush, the most food , the best of clothes,, in all the world...BUT,,, do you horde these riches, or do you help others, to have food, shelter, clothing, and to give to the service of His Churches, His Missions? Or, do you take your blessing, and keep them close to your heart, and plan to take them with you? The only thing you have that you can take with you to Heaven, is your soul!!! Remember that, and live with that on your mind ,, and only that! Yes , it is o.k. to have good things in this world. some more, some less... but only here,, don't think that all you have , build , or bank, will accompany you to the beyond!!! For they will not, ,, only your soul will go before the Lord God,, so as above LIVE ACCORDINGLY!!! WORSHIP GOD ONLY, AND HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE YOU! SO YES, WE ARE BLESSED,,FOR WE ARE GIVEN JESUS, SO WE ALL ARE BLESSED! God, thank, You for Jesus, our all! amen John HIcks

INEQUALITY?

FRIDAY! Good morning on the 2nd of this "New Year"! Today as I ask my God to walk and be with me in all I do, I want to make my comments short ,so you will read the following: The following is something Scot Mucher sent my nephew, Paul Hicks, who by the way is a "GOD CALLED PREACHER!".. and it goes like this, I hope all take the time to read and enjoy!!!! Inequality is a bogus concept. At what point in your life do you feel you've experienced equality... perfect equality? It doesn't happen. When we had to use a 5-gallon bucket for a bathroom and the neighbors were bringing us food so we'd have something to eat, they went home to a working restroom and a full pantry. That was unequal. When we were heating water on the stove for a bath and carrying it to the bathroom, that was unequal. Other children had hot-running water whenever they wanted. It was unequal when I couldn't get a job I wanted without a degree. Other people were being hired for that position. It was unequal when they served food to me in a restaurant that had a sign saying, "no shoes, no shirt, no service". Other folks had no shoes... and no money to eat in that restaurant. If you want to boil it down to race, yes, of course some have been overlooked for employment or housing because of their race... their sex... their looks... their hair... their height... their grammar... their weight... their disability... their demeanor. If we spend all our lives attempting to force others to conform to our specific circumstances we never grow, and we never make any true personal progress. Obstacles are meant to be overcome. When they are finally overcome they will quickly be replaced by other obstacles which are meant to be overcome, and so on, and so forth. Unfair? You bet. This, my friends is what we call "life". So, suck it up, buttercup. Work and fight and pray for what you believe in. Set your goals and do your best to overcome... NO guarantees. I would be a fool to argue there is no such thing as inequality. I would, instead argue that there is no such thing as equality. If you want to know what human attempts at equality look like, look up socialism. Or do a little study on communism. I'll take my chances with a little inequality. God, thank You for this message that tells us that we are all born of You, and what we do with ourselves is up to us... amen John HIcks I hope you enjoyed the following,, as I did, and found out I am Inequality!
