BEING PLEASANT!

FRIDAY! TGIF! TGED! Good morning this great, of another of God's days, and be great-ful that He has chosen to let you and I share another one with Him, on this earth! As I awoke, I have said my good mornings to Him, gave my thanks, and have asked Him to come.. be with me today as I do what ever,, but it will be "things" I will be able to stand before Him and listen to repeated.. but that has not always been the case... but now with His Son at my side, I still can stand and stand with no past.. for He has taken it, and paid for it, and has my future in His hands, why, for I gave Him my all! Now, after all of this of a good morning,, How's your day going to start?,,, and how is it going to be,, with or without? BEING PLEASANT! Now, this is one thing we all can do, if we choose to do,, and that is to be pleasant! There are times we just feel like we have been run over by a truck, a transfer truck,,, and that is bad, right? Even with this ,,, we can be pleasant, we don't have to be a sour lemon.. all puckered up, lips turned down, attitude of, "you owe me something".. "get out of my way",, or as some ,, "I am waiting on you because it is my job, and I do not have to really smile.. I am paid to smile", when really as in all jobs, people should be smiling and thankful that they have one.. and should enjoy it, and if not, quit,, and find something that they like,, if they can.. don't take it out on others of your disappointment in your job, your life, or what ever has effected you today, to put you in this un-pleasant mood! ,, STOP,, and take it to the Lord,, for He is the one who can change all things,,, maybe not instant, and maybe in an instant.. but by faith,, and once tht you have been to Him, ask Him into your heart, give Him your soul,, then that will create a smile,,,and turn those lips up, and control that tongue before it wags.. and put you back in the PLEASANT STAGE! and make people glad to see you, and not frown after they have dealt with you! God, please enter all today, and put a real smile, not only on their lips, but in their hearts also.. amen John HIcks I smile, I talk(maybe too much), but I love life, and I love people, and I love my God over all, and I say that public,,,, and proud of it, yes, I am bragging of my love,, of my God!!!! Who do you brag about,, and do you do it with a smile or a frown? Smile , it takes less muscles and less energy! Really, a proven fact!!!

THURSDAY! Opening my eyes, and first thing I realize,, God is awake, and has prepared His task that He intends on me doing today, and as I rise ,,, I think ,,, isn't it good to wake up with good in my heart,rather than plan of hurt to to others.... sounds crazy,,, but we never know what we will wake up to ,,it is in God's control, so when you lay your head down, do it with Him,,,for He also plans the night,, and your tasks are always His,, but it is your choice to accept them...that is what God is about,, giving you the world, but the choice of enjoying it with Him, and not with just greed! So, how did you awake this great day of His? PERSONAL REFLECTION! Today, I feel like it is time for us all to just stop! Clear our minds, and have a heart to heart talk with God! We all think we are the sin free, almost the chosen ones... but folks we all need to pray, talk to God daily, and I recommend more than once a day.. if you feel the need, or the want.. foe I truly believe we live with, not around, beside, but with our God, and He loves to talk..and if you listen ,, you can hear Him back? No, I am not crazy, but you have to believe, and have faith, but He does talk back.... Now you think,, you have done so many good things, and you walk around ,,, and you are all along,, people are passing you by, not even nodding , or giving you any notice,, other than a get out of my way glance,,would you not be lonely? Well, with all that God has, and all the creations HE has created, He has created "man" i His own image,, doesn't that tell you something, in His own image,, so He must have wanted us to communicate with Him back,,, what do you think of your relationship with your Creator? STOP,, DO A PERSONAL REFLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL LIFE,,,,,, AND ALSO YOUR PUBLIC "LOOK"! Lord, I do reflect on my life, and I must confess, I need forgiveness, and I ask You to forgive me, but I also ask forgiveness of my fellow ones who have sinned against me , as I forgive them first.... and Lord , I ask that you forgive this world of their deeds.. and put us all back on track , as You would love to have us on,,,and that is YOUR track...amen John HIcks Knowing that only a few reads this, but if just one comes to the Lord, all will be worth the words, the work, for all my work is for Him... just who do you work for? Did you include that in your personal reflection?

WEDNESDAY! When you roll out of that bed,, open your eyes and ask,, what I can do today,, not what I have to do today! Then invite God along, in what ever it is you decide to do! EYES WIDE OPEN This world was given to you and I by the Almighty God ,, to enjoy and claim of its nutrients of life. It was given to us to use ,, and with our eyes wide open to His might,, His power, His love, His rules.. If we choose to enjoy and use what He has made for us,, then this world will continue,, it will grow,,, it will be a paradise here,, but if we abuse it,, then it will become , too hot,, too dry,, to polluted,, soil ruined,, air not breathable,,, whoa!!! Do we need to stop right now?? I believe we need to stop ,, digest just what I have said,, and start changing as soon as possible for we are there,, and we have seen where we have come from in the past 200 years, 100 years, 50 years,,, we are headed down,,, not up,,, and we are , to my much concern,, doing it with our EYES WIDE OPEN Lord,, forgive us for what we are doing , and have done to Your great Creation,, and may we see the light and return to where You want us.. amen John HIcks Just looking,,and looking,, will you stop long enough to look?

TUESDAY! As Mr Rogers would say,,, "Great day in the neighborhood today!" If you start yours off with a mighty and hardy "Good Morning Lord", as you wake, YES!!!, it will be "A great day in your neighborhood today, where ever you make your neighborhood!". Have a great day! Prayer Thanks Today: For Tommy Mulling, whose Kidney Transplant went well,, news this day, is it is already working, and He is doing fine this morning. Thank you God for this and all the other requests you have filled ... they are all in our hearts and we are all thankful to our Creator , You,, God! Happy Birthday! I usually don't put birthdays in my thoughts,, but this is a birthday of exception.. for some three years ago, a man stopped by, got some crosses from our Cross Garden, and started giving out crosses, and he has to date,, given out at least 1000 crosses. and also today this man,, a great Christian, World War Two Veteran, and Baseball Al-star Hall of Famer, turned 90 years old today! May God bless you Jim Harp,, for just being Jim Harp,, a great friend, and a great person,, Happy birthday again! RESCUE ME! Many, many people have cried these two words,, at one time of their life! How many have really sought out the greatest lifeguard,, of the water, ground, wrecks, battle fields, earthquakes, storms, etc.. and cried out to their Lord,,, rescue me Lord! Now I ask you this question,, just how many have cried to Jesus this,,,, "Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart and soul , and save me from eternal damnation.. from satan and his crew?" If you have not, it is time for you to blow that lifeguard whistle, and ask Him to cast out that lifeline of eternal life, with Him.. and don't mind crying it out loud ,, for all to hear, and for all to see... as you cry out... JESUS ,, RESCUE ME, RESCUE ME FROM satan! I CONFESS MY SINS TO YOU, AND GIVE YOU, MY LIFE! Lord, thank You for Your saving power,, and my prayer also today is , that all will come to You, and leave their sinful ways. amen John Hicks Believer, and not afraid to stand and say it.. out loud on all of His principals.... how about you? Will you stand up today, and say so,, that someone will hear you say,, "Praise You Lord almighty from which all my treasures come!" Are you that bold on God, and His Son? I am!!! Join me today!!!! Footnote: My computer still says that when I spell satan, it is incorrect, for I do not put the s in caps.. for it is not a proper noun to me, and as I have always said, I will no ever recognize him as proper! So much for such a so called ,,,"intelligent computer"!

MONDAY! Good morning folks! I hope all woke up this morning with the thanks to their God of another day,, given by love, and a choice of that you,,, will worship Him for all your days,, Please stop, give Him a word of thanks, and then invite Him along with you in all you undertake this ,another of His gracious days! Prayers For This Day: I ask all to continue to pray for Tommy Mulling, who today is scheduled for Kidney Transplant Surgery,, all tests are complete, and He is scheduled for this morning... and also,, as you pray for him,, pray for little Emmie, his little grand-daughter, who is suffering form a high fever at home. For the family of John Kemp, and his wife's' family ,, John passed to heaven last night, and his wife preceded him the day before from a wreck they both were in.. pray for the family to receive relief from the God of their Faith. KEEPING HIS WORD! This is the hardest to do ,, why, I guess we are human, and we are all sinners! But, you know, we can correct this,, by being Christian Humans! Yes, Christian Humans,, have you met any lately? They are the ones who actually keep the laws of God, and Jesus" word from the New Testament.. They are the ones with that glow about, and around all they do... for they are "Daily Christians"... and this is the way we all can do just that,,,, glow, smile, be so happy,, pray to God, in secret, and in public,, be a wittiness for Him,not on special days,,, nor special times,,,, but at all times, and all days of your life,,, here, and now!... Yes, this is the way! so now you know that all those who keep the word, are Christians, and "humans",, not perfect , but "Human Christians", and if you are not, you can be, by accepting the Lord Jesus as your Savior,,, and that is the first step to KEEPING HIS WORD! The rest is your faith , and your "want" , and your request to Him daily!!!! God, you know our needs, you know us, and I ask for forgiveness of those who have sinned against us, and then forgive us of our sins, and I pray for those mentioned above, and for all those in need. I pray for our pastors who have a job so hard, but they keep trod-ding on.. please give them the strength they need... amen John HIcks

Here it is SUNDAY!,,, up and atta 'em,,, make it a day to remember,,, as all are,,, but make this one of all smiles,,, no frowns,,, can you do it? Try it,, it makes the heart glow,,, pump better,,, easier,, and it also takes the lines out on ones face,,, and makes the lips turn up,,, a wonder in it's self... go ahead ,,, look in the mirror, and tell me ,, which one do you like,,, the one who is smiling,,, or the one who is frowning? PRAYER REQUEST: For Tommy Mulling, who left this morning to go to Emory for a Kidney transplant.. Please pray for this man, He is very dedicated to his Lord! ASCEND:to rise up from a lower level DESCEND: move from a higher level , to a lower level HEAVEN: ascend, the region up and around the earth ,, the abode of God and His angels HELL: descend,the abode of the dead souls, condemned to eternal punishment CHOICE:select or choose Lord, thank You for giving us a choice,,, and not condemnation,,, and thank You for giving us Your Son , so we can ascend,,, amen John HIcks I have made the decision,,, make yours ,,, He is waiting to hear from you,, if you have already made your decision,,, well,, go ahead and talk to Him,,, with all He has to do to keep us ,,,, He might just like to talk to someone,, you know ,,,, "shoot the bull" with Him,,, asking for nothing, just you know,,,,,,, every-day talk,,, I do it!... FAITH!

SATURDAY! Good morning on this first day of the sixth month of this year? May the Lord be with you, and this world for the future, starting with this day one, of the first day,,, of the rest of your life! FAITH! "as big as a grain of mustard seed"..... what a statement,, to not ask for much faith, yet it is so hard to attain as a human! Faith, is something we as a nation, as an individual need more of,,and we need to practice it, starting it now, for this nation,, this world is driven by a force of people right now that we all don't of approve of...but are setting on our butts and letting it happen, and that includes me also! How about the little girl that was attending the called prayer meeting,,, during one of the worst droughts know... ground was breaking open, food was diminishing, drinking water rationed,, people buzzing around talking about just what was they going to do, when the preacher walked to the pulpit and saw the little girl setting there on the front beanch with a smile on her face, and an UMBRELLA in her hand! Can you see this faith setting there? Billy Grahams once statement of when he got to heaven , he was going to sleep the first 1000 years... and re-read the statement of when I get to heaven ,,not if, or I hope,, but WHEN! The knowledge of those two,, of not doubting, but ready,,, knowing who they were talking to, who they had served, what He had told them of this thing called FAITH! and they were practicing it,,,, are we? God, may this nation return , to the world carrying this faith of You on their back, showing all of them, You and Your glory,,, knowing they can carry the load,, with You beside them,,, amen John HIcks Faith is great,, having it and believing in it ,,,, is even greater!
