How will you fare out when you appear before Him? Will you have your special defender Jesus,, or will you have that one smiling off to the side ,, the one with little horns on his forehead? Maybe what is believed by you today, is not what will get you there to God's Heaven,,,,,,, your beliefs now, will not be able to get you there and keep you there,, away from that horny head devil standing by for all rejects from God! SO NOW IS THE TIME TO MAKE SURE! ,, The time to change those beliefs,,, is now! It is time to bring in your real Savior,, Jesus Christ, into your personal, and public belief.. then survival is for sure.. the path is laid,, and you can smile as you become TRUE TO YOUR BELIEFS,,, AND YOU ACTUALLY START LIVING YOUR BELIEFS,, THAT IS REAL TRUTH! FRIDAY! TGED! Good morning, I hope all woke up with the Lord by your side, and I pray that you ask Him to accompany you today,,and everyday of the rest of your life. May He bless You and of this Nation, and this world! Yes ,,, All! WHO CAN GET YOU INTO HEAVEN? I ask this very often,, who can get you into Heaven? You say, God, Jesus, the President, The governor,, your wife, your husband.. no ,, only one can get you to heaven,, and that is YOU! AND THIS IS BY MAKING A CHOICE! Now out of all those above,, only two could,, by just saying it,, that is God and Jesus,, but they don't work that way,, God has set up a route, a plan,, YOU, must take ! There is not other way to get there , except by this road,,, it is through the Cross... You just bow your head, ask Jesus to come to you, He is standing by,, waiting patiently , then ask Him to forgive you of all your sins,, and that you accept Him as your personal Savior, believe in Him and only Him, and that you know He will accept you.. Now after you have done that,, you have open up and paved your road to Heaven,, as long as you stay on that road, that reads I-JC UP,,you are on your way and who made this possible? God made the plan, Gave us Jesus to do it with, then,, He gave you the most important thing your life, CHOICE! Waking up , taking a cup of coffee to the carport,,,dark,, then a little light,, and a few birds, then more light,, semi-day-breaking,, a loud array of birds of all different kinds,,, singing songs of different tunes,,, a sobering moment,, when realizing,, they are not only waking up the world, but they are praising their Maker, for He has gotten them through the night , fed by God, and I then realized,, man wakes up, turns on a light so he/she can see in the light, reaches for the coffee or drink of choice, and if wants ,, grabs food readily for consumption,, and never once, no never once utters a song of praise, nor even a word, nor thought of who furnished this ,,, just for them! If we could just up and fly,, instead of turning the key to move,,, would we utter that praise then,,, I doubt it! Maybe, just maybe we need to change,,, and give more praise!!! What do you think? WEDNESDAY! Hump Day! Just like that "camel",, the "hump" is for a reason.... and to you, and to me,, we climb everyday up,,, and not down(I pray and hope you are going up in your life),, so the "hump" stores God's spirit for us,, just as it stores water for that camel! So, now I ask just big of a hump do you have,, for their is never enough of building and speaking for the Lord,,, do you agree? Prayer Request and Reports: MONDAY, JUNE 24, 2013 Update - 8:45pm, on Terresa,The surgery successfully repaired the left atrium of the heart and blood flow is good. However when they took Teresa off bypass the right side wasn't happy, due to being on bypass for so long in the OR. Because of this they had to put her back on ECMO. She will remain on ECMO for a few days to give the right side time to rest. The hope is that the right ventricle will come back after these days of rest. After Teresa left the OR and went to the room, she began bleeding out of her nose, mouth, eyes, IV sites, and chest. They gave her blood to bring the clotting factor to a good spot and bleeding stopped everywhere except her chest. She is currently still bleeding from her chest, but it will hopefully slow as the clotting factor increases. The surgeon is staying nearby to watch the bleeding -- if it continues into the night Teresa will have to go back into the OR. Teresa is not out of the woods until the bleeding from her chest stops! Please pray that the bleeding stops soon, and that after a few days of rest the right ventricle will come back!! For Sandy Jackson's Daughter, Felicia, who is having gall bladder surgery today. For Britty Ellington's Aunt Nancy Wigley, who underwent Ovarian Cancer surgery yesterday,,and a request of one unspoken prayer, from her. Please pray for Betty May, Millie's friend., She saw the Vascular Surgeon today. The temporary dialysis catheter in her neck is not working properly, and she has to have one taken out and another one put some place else. This is very serious because it has to go in the main artery in her neck. She does not know the day or time, as the doctor has to find an operating room--but something like this needs to be done right away. STANDING ON THE PROMISES! Where do you stand on your belief of God, the Salvation of eternal life through Jesus Christ? Do you believe in God? Do You believe that Jesus is(not was, for He lives today) the Son of God? do you believe that Jesus died on the Cross for my and your sins? Do you believe that the only way to Heaven is through the Cross? Do you believe that when you go to God in prayer, that He listens to all prayers? Do you believe that you can personally go to Jesus Christ, and ask with real faith and belief,,, and be forgiven of all your sins, no matter how bad? TUESDAY! Wake up! Say hello to the Lord, and shake that ole sleepy from your eyes and brain,, and let's get up and start the new day of the first day of the rest of our lives,,, and let's get up with the intention of what ever we do,, we do it in His name, and with wittiness to Him! Will you join me on this quest of a day for our Lord, and to me ,,,,,that is every day, and to you? WHO IS THAT MAN,,,REALLY? We have many, many who claim to do great things in His name,, and I cannot deny that they can, for faith can move mountains,, if we have enough! There are some who claim they are our friends, almost to the point of in their belief , they are the chosen one! We will have many to claim that they are the Christ,, returned,, they are here, now! Is the "anti-Christ" here,,, working under-cover, getting ready to make the claim in reality? Is there anyone who is fooling millions upon millions with lies,, and those very ones following, dancing,, so call in the streets, praising every move, and that he can do no wrong? Or is the one we think is beaten,,,, is actually gaining ground of being the supreme leader! We have so many starved people for salvation of some kind,, and someone to look up to,, as in FDR, JFK, & Reagan, they will follow anyone,, who can so call sing, or scream , rap, act,, almost anything to just have a leader to follow... like in the Forest Gump movie when he was running,, the people of this world, are in a let's run behind "him", whoever "him" may be...... we must be very careful as to who we even walk behind,,,,, for I really believe the times are changing fast ,,, in that direction,, and who it is, I do not know,,, but I know that we as a nation, who are starting to follow the world in a "get something for nothing, work at staying away from work, or the only work is with a hand extended,, and the sex of all kinds, except that of what God intended it to be, and who with",,, that as the nation, and the world continues to follow,, God will not allow this to continue, so we must either change back to God,,, 100 %, and we must do our very best to get this , HIS word back out there,, or we will reap this MAN, THIS ANTI-CHRIST--OR WE CAN GET BACK ON TRACK, AND KEEP THE REAL GOD, WHO MADE US! MONDAY! As you opened your eyes this morning from a nights sleep,, did you say "good morning" to the same person,, first,, as you said "good night " to the same person , last night , right before you closed your eyes? Well, all I can say is it is a great way to go to sleep, and to wake up,,,, You figure out just who I am talking about,,,and your life will explode into a greater life than you could ever have expected! Prayer Request: Debbie Livingston, who will go into the hospital for an operation today.. God be with you my friend,, for He watches over those of His! YOU ARE,,, WHAT YOU ARE? You are really what you are! Some will try to be something else in front of some people.. other than themselves. It is as if they are not "good" enough,, or "will not fit in" if they are just themselves. The one thing we all come close to losing in our life,,, and we have to fight satan, not daily, but hourly, is our honesty, and our truth to our belief of our God. You are what you are! You have made the choice,, no one else made it for you,,,,no matter what you say,,,! The only one who can change you,, is you! Yes, the choices you make, is what shapes us all! You can be good, and you can be bad... but to be a "want to fit in or impress someone" ,,, is not the real you, and the real you will show up at a later date... so just do one thing to make sure this does not happen.. ask God to come into your life, ask Jesus to come into your heart, forgive your sins, then speak the truth, and you will always BE just WHAT YOU ARE, AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO REMEMBER WHAT YOU WERE, JUST A MINUTE AGO! SUNDAY! God's rest day! Well, why are you not resting? I know some have to work, but the old "blue law" wasn't so bad,, at least we all got out,, and visited each other more,,, but now, work, watch T.V. or play computer games,, or just on the computer,, yes, just like me ,right now... Let's all say a silent prayer for "Man"! EITHER YOU DO,,, OR YOU DON'T,,, A CHOICE OF YOURS AND YOURS ALONE! This is one statement, no one,, in person, on T.V.,, on the news media, on the computers social network,, newspapers,, no one can say is not a valuable statement,, one of a lifetime,,, here , and for later! We all make a lot of decisions each day of our life,,, and they are some life saving, life taking,,, hurting others, saying things about others that are untruths, or so called "stretching" the truth, just enough to ruin someones life, some are praising others,, being kind , and gracious, helpful, all different types of decisions. Yes , we as humans ,,, make so many decisions each day, good or bad,, but we make them!... NOW,,,the most important one decision to all,,, Christians, and non-Christians... is the acceptance, or non acceptance of Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.. their way through this life,,, and their way into Heaven with their one and only God... or their way to hell,,, and folks that is my belief, that God gave you that ,,, your ability of "CHOICE",, and it is your responsibility to accept or not... and I have made mine, and it is my acceptance of Jesus Christ as my personal Savior,,, and today, I ask this, a request of all who reads this,, if you are not a Christian, make this same decision, this choice that I have made, and for those of you who have made it,,, DON'T keep it a secret,, tell the world of your convictions, be proud, and let's ,together, bring in all the lost sheep of the human herd who are wandering along life's pathway,, without God,, let's do our job, and do some shouting and reminders of THIS CHOICE, EITHER YOU DO, OR YOU DON'T, DO, AND LIVE!, DON'T AND DIE! FRIDAY! TGIF! TGED! Last day until the W/E! Have you planned your W/E? Have you dotted all the i's, and crossed all your t's ? Planning is just like the grammar above,,, easy to write but can be missing some of the content... like did you plan Jesus in your plans? Well? Just a Thought Today! A Testimonial! I have been doing the "Thoughts For Today" since 2007,,,, working with "The Cross Ministry", since August 2010,,, and I am still doing both, by Gods request, and His help, and I truly believe this. I am having the time of my life!!!!! If asked before starting any of these two,, "was I as committed to God as I am now,, and the answer is yes! In my heart, I was committed,,, in my mind I was committed , vocally, no, I was not as committed." God touched me so many times in my life , personally,, you would not believe the times,, the miracles He gave to me and to my complete family, the hardships, the disappointments,, the, as I call it, the pot holes , the rough ride on the hi-way of life it seems I had,, yet, as I look back, it was as smooth as glass... for God was right there with me(if I had looked)... patiently waiting , guiding, keeping me safe,, knowing just what He had in store for "me".... Well it was these two things, and yes, my tongue may wag,,, but it wags more for the Lord than ever before, and it will continue to wag for Him.... and I will continue to stand up for God, for Jesus,,, and let no man , nor no woman, ever try to pull me down off my soap-box of the Lord,, I will not budge, I will not fall, I will stand tall, straight, and well healed to my belief, my commitment,, and why am I so sure? For I am being held by my Master and Lord! I know why my Lord has carried me thus far! Do you know why you are where you are today? THURSDAY! Welcome and good morning to His day,,, no, it's not Sunday,, but as Christians, we should celebrate each day as His, He built, He gave it , and He can take it back,,, just remember that! Start your day off right, and invite Him along,, & don't make Him tag along behind you. Put Him up front and be proud to do so! Will you? Or will you just ignore this, and wish,, at the time of ascent, for recognition, when it will be too late! Am I chastising all those who turn their heads to Christ? Prayer Request: For Teresa Bartinski, a 6 year old, daughter of Ann,,who has had a heart transplant, and is not responding to her new heart, even thought she is fighting,,, it just will not beat,, she is on life support,, her mother has stated,, "Jesus can start her heart,, I know it, if we will just pray", so I ask all to pray for Gods' Will to be done for this little girl! Mepey Nkese, had her bone marrow transplant yesterday,,, and as she awoke from her operation, her first words where "Isn't God great"! How about that! With All The Churches! I am going to write something today that will get under a lot of peoples skin , so to speak.. but it needs to be said! I , also include myself in this,,,, If we have all these churches in this Nation,,, and all of these people are going to these churches, then why do we have so many crimes, so many killings, so many sins ,,, as if they are on the increase,,, and yes , I know the population is growing,,, for this Nation is not only money driven, greed driven, but also un-wed sex driven... and fathers not accepting their duties... Now I ask , if we all believe as we all state we do, in our churches in prayer, in our business(that is something to discuss later, we need more of), and profess our belief in public.... then why does a person make a face of "in awe" when a person prays at a meal in public, why do they turn their head at the word being talked about in public,, ?????? Yes,,, more and more , I believe we call these people Hypocrites,,, for they are "Sunday Morning Worshipers Only" yes they belong to the SMWO organization! We need to listen to His word, and we need to practice His word,, every second, every minute , every day,,,,, and not when it is convenient, or politically correct,, I am tired of hearing those comments ,, of too much talking of God, and Jesus,,,, for I am guilty of this, but I will continue to do so...and I ask and I request, and I say to you, this doomsday quote... now, for later may be too late!!!!! Now with all the buildings I see around this area,,, and as I use to see as I traveled,, why do we not have more REAL CHURCHES, WITH REAL MEMBERS,, with all of the churches we have? WEDNESDAY! Good ole "HUMP" DAY,, for all those who have a job to go to,,for us who are retired,,, just another day of the seven day week-end! Bragging? Yes, for my Lord has given this for us to enjoy,, and quit gripping about not having anything to do,,for there is a vast of opportunities for all out there,,,, just look,,,, and do,, and then say a great big ole "Thank You God!".. from the retired, the working, and the ones looking for a job,and the ones who are not able to work... Now, thank God for all you do have, for with out Him, you would have nothing!!!! Prayer Request: Laura Burris' mother in Ms. ,,whose house was hit by lightning yesterday, and burned to the ground, ,she lost everything, please pray for her recovery of this vast happening of her life! THE GATE! You know we all see, and may have one,, and that is a gate with a fence,, some may have just a gate at the driveway , all for security. Our environment demands more and more security.. so it is a natural thing for man to do,,, just as animals do, who also have territories and they guard it just as we do our homes,,, and family,,, and valuables...Yes ,, valuables!!!! What is the most valuable thing in your life that you own and have,,, give me an answer now,,, and what are you doing to protect that valuable? Is it a gold necklace, watch, car, truck, money,, silver,,, house,,, your soul,, just what? Let's talk about the security of your soul! There is but one way to put a gate, and fence of solid security around the soul,,, and that is Jesus Christ! He is the only one! Once accepted as your "soul guard",by you, He cannot be removed by anyone,,, a promise made from His Father ,,, to us! Now YOU, can remove Him, by rejection,,, and denying Him...and that is your choice! Yes, satan goes into a real wild fit each time someone says ,, Yes , Jesus,,, I accept You as my personal savior,, and I give you my heart and soul"... I really think he gets down on his hands and knees,,, scream obscenities,,, foams at the mouth,,,cries,,, and more,,,, YES he DOES! and I hope to know that he has to do it more,,, and more,,, don't you? (He also goes into even a bigger fit of joy, each time he hears someone deny Jesus. Now back to the security gates...there are two,,, one is Gods ,,,, keeps His open at all times,,, and there is only one way in,,,only one ticket, and it comes to you as mentioned above, through Jesus! Now ,,, ole satan keeps his gate open to the public all the time,, and he will accept all who wants to come in,,,you don't even need a ticket,, just the denial of Jesus,,, and yes,,, if you deny Christ,,, you are hell bent,,, on your way through that FIERY ,,,HOT ,, GATE,,OF SECURED AGONY, BURNING FOREVER, AND EVER! TEARS NEVER WIPED! GET YOUR TICKET THROUGH THE GATE OF GOD!!!! AND LIVE FOREVER AND EVER, WITH HIM!!! Lord,,, thank You for the opportunity to make the decision,, and I pray for strength , of all to open their mouths,,, and cry out for You to enter in to their hearts, and have your gate standing open to them at all times! ....amen John HIcks My gate has been chosen,, and I know that Jesus stands here now with me,,, and I know that He stands at my gate,,, and your gate, if you have made that choice,,,,, with arms wide open.......Will you make your decison, now, for we neveer knwo when our gate will close, and that choice is not ever available ,, ever again.... make yours today!

TUESDAY! Good Morning!!!! Waking up with a smile is not hard to do,,, just like waking up with a yawn! Just natural, IF,,,you are waking up with the Lord in your heart, and on your mind,, first! How about it? Are you smiling,, yet? Have a great day,,,and remember as you wake up in the morning,, smile first, then yawn! O.k.? Prayer Request: Please pray for Mepey Nkesc. She has leukemia. She has been on Chemo, but it has failed to help. She is at the University of Maryland Hospital, in Baltimore, where she will undergo a bone marrow transplant on Wednesday. She is a Christian! Please pray for this transplant to be her cure,, a gift from her God. A GIFT FROM GOD! We pray for forgiveness, we pray for money, we pray for food, we pray for other "things" in this world,, in our life,,, Yes we are the most praying "for", Nation in the world,, to have so much!... Thank about those in those civil war torn countries, food hoarding dictators, who use slave labor, and starve them as they build his or her castles, and toys of destruction to others... Yes , they their , who know God, pray hard also..but for relief as they should... we pray for more, and more of what we have so much of,, most of the time,, we pray FOR..not thanks for what we already have!! How many times do we give thanks in our prayers, and really mean it? How many times have you prayed just for God giving you life here in His "Earthly World",, the air you breath,, the water you drink, the food you eat, and for those less fortunate than you, to have what you have,, just a THANK YOU GOD,,, FOR ALL THE GIFTS YOU HAVE GIVEN ME,,, and not the want of anything,, just a "THANKS"! God, thank You, for my all,,, and I pray today for all others as I say "thank You for their all also"..amen John HIcks Humble,, faithful,, and very, very, thankful for my all,,,,, for I know that ALL comes from Him,, even when we don't recognize it...but if we look,,and think real hard,, we will find a positive in everything that He sends,,, what we send each other ,,,, now that is up to us,,, do you agree on that statement?,, for you , and I are the givers on that!

MONDAY! Now for the week,,, Had a great day yesterday! It is so grand to live in a nation of free speech,, freely able to move around from place to place.... listen to this, or that,, or not listen,, walk,, ride in the car, or on the bike ,, (in most places,,) without being bullied by law enforcement,,, but helped by them with a smile... oh yes,, it is good to be an American,, live here in the land of the free, and not worry about what or who , if anyone is listening in on you,, for you should be talking, and saying whatever you don't care if the big house, okr anyone is listening or not... so go ahead and enjoy this great freedom ,,, and as you look around you at all that surrounds you, just enjoy what you see! May God bless each of you today, another of His gifts to us,,,and they just keep on pouring in,,, right? SMALL,, BUT SOOO BIG ! I look out in the yard,, and I see a fairly big yard.. I look down the road,, I can see a fair distance, I look up, and I can see eternity. I think of our little nest, and I see, in my mind, Atlanta, Macon,, New York, California, Alaska,, Japan,, places I have been and they are far away,, out of natural sight, but not sub-conscience,, there we still have our pictures of far away places we have visited...and then I look on T.V. see the vast countries,, their land, their forests, their water falls, their jungles, their deserts,, their environments..and how vast and big they are,, wishing I could see them all,, walk on their grounds,, live with them and see their customs.. be a part of them also. Yes , this earth is so vast, we will not be able to see it all, except through T.V. ,computers , and films.. I then stop and think , how are we in this vast pool of people, in such a large distances apart,, able to make a difference. I then think of God,, how He made it for us all to enjoy,, to see.. and as I read the Genesis of the Bible, I do seem to see more, as I see Him building this great earth,, and then I see, feel , His presence as I talk to Him in Prayer , and I realize , that my little word to Him , is as big as the earth He built,, my presence is known to Him and that is what matters.. Correct? So I realize that I will see the earth in its entirety when I join my God ... so for now, I know that I am just as big as the earth, so no matter how small we are,,, it is a matter of "faith",, that makes us SOOOO BIG! Lord, thank You for the insight that you planted with us.. and thank You for the knowledge of just how big we are, and that is ,,,,,just how big our faith is,,, amen... SUNDAY! FATHER'S DAY! So today is my day to sit back and be waited on.... How about all you others out there! I have been given by the grace of my God, four great children... and have been blessed that they are all grown and have married to great partners.. who love them back as I love them... and now are blessed with seven grandchildren.... wow, now tell me that God is not good! Thank You, God, for my all! Now, I today also would like to say,,, Happy Fathers' Day to our Heavenly Father.. for without this Father ,,, we would not be.. so Jesus, I also say Happy Fathers' Day, God! and again thank You God for our all! SATURDAY! Good morning on this first day of most of you, your W/E! I hope and I pray that you have planned it well, and that you have invited the most important people of your life to share it with,,, and of course that does include God in your plans... doesn't it? Well, I mean the MOST important of your life!!! Hey, your choice ,, not mine,, but mine to remind you of, right? Have a great week-end! YOUR DAILY WALK OF LIFE! As we all walk, even with shoes.. we leave footprints.... maybe you don't see them on concrete,, but they are there , just as if you were waling on sand... the question is, are you leaving permanent prints.. or does your blow away with the wind, just as sand repositions itself with each small breeze? The ones you leave is the ones you do with your heart,, and mind,,,and if they are to be remembered as good,,,, then you must walk with your heart... and let your mind just be a recorder... yes,, your heart is where Jesus is ,, and God has placed Him there if you have asked for Him.. Have you? Now , we get to the real walk of your daily life, are you carrying the load of sin, or have you dumped that ole satan and his weight for the light happy load of Jesus Christ, for Christ will even carry you, where ole satan will let you fall down, and then stomp on you.. yes he will, for he is satan, and will always be satan, and that is destruction, and air walking off of cliff traps,, set for you,, but Jesus, is always there, and if you do happen to step off of a cliff of life,, He will not let you fall..but will catch you and let you glide softly down and back on track! He will always be here, now and in the later, and ruler over satan..always! Now as you live this life , on this world, I ask you this question,, just who do you pick to accompany you on YOUR DAILY WALK THROUGH THIS LIFE? Lord, I pray , all will pick You, to hold their hands, guide them , in all they do,, as they serve you with all their heart, and all their might... amen John HIcks Opinionated ???? THURSDAY! Welcome to this day, one of Gods, given with love of Man.. for without this love we would surely not exist,, I ask all to read the "Thoughts" today, and reflect on them and make a decision on your pathe oflife, trueism,, or ficticism! More new words! Have a great day with thelord beside you, is my wish today! ESCAPISM! Thousands of people have plans to escape from the realities of life. A new word came into common usage a few years ago. Escapism. The dictionary defines it as "a retreat from reality into an imaginary world". Some are trying to hide in an elusive imaginary world. But ... sooner or later we must leave our dream world and face up to the real facts,,, the facts of God word , your sin and His judgment. The Bible says," All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"(Romans 3:23) and "There is none who does good, no not one'(Romans 3:12) There are no new sins,, just new sinners,, no new crimes,, just new criminals, no new evils,, just new evildoers. Murders are no more larger or worst than Abel and Cain,,, sex perversions , that our papers play up as daring and new,, are no more horrible than the ancient perversions of Sodom and Gomorrah. Evil is evil,, the same as always,, and there are only new doers,, and all of these new doers are looking for that way.. the way out! They do not see the real picture of the way of escapism! There is an escape,, good news! The way of escape , and deliverance, is through God, adn son , Jesus. In Hebrews, we find the question, 'How shall we escape?". and it also tells us the means of escape God has provided: "But we see Jesus who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death.. that He, by the grace of God , might taste death for everyone... and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage."( Hebrews 2:9, 15) Jesus is the only way that God has provided. The Bible declares "And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent"(John 17:3) Your can know Christ by receiving Him at this moment and He can become your escape.. do you want this escape? Are you looking for your "ESCAPISM"? Lord, Thank You for being our pathway from sin, and sure death, to eternal life,, through Your Son, amen John HIcks Any new words from anyone today? I am sure my children will say, I say new ones all the time for they laugh at the way I pronouce them,, , but like true loving children, they understand every word I utter!

WEDNESDAY! Middle of the week! Planning time for the W/E,,, Just what will you do,, with this "off" time? Some will have to work through these two days.. Just this Morning , we were reflecting on "the time that was",, when working a week-end,, was if you owned a business, and that closed mostly at noon, and only grocery stores stayed open for longer Saturday hours... but Sundays,,, only certain "Service Stations" stayed open for gas, remember those?Families planned together,, parks, picnics,, visiting others,, not "Let's go to Wally world, or Shopping Centers",, that are bigger than some little towns... Those were the days,, and we were very secure,, what happened? We , and I say we,,, started putting "self" before God! Now plan and plan well,, not only your W/E, but the rest of your life... it is in your hands, that future of up or down,, your choice,,, so don't delay, go ahead and make it now... you will like it,,,I guarantee it!!!! Now, as you read below,,, think about this word,, called "Love"! WHO LOVES YOU? There is love from your mother,, father,,, brother,,,, sister,,,,,aunt,,, uncle,, girlfriend,,, boyfriend,,, a lot of others,,, and it is a love ,,, to you,,, that is never- ending,,, You return this love just as intent as it is given... but can you do the following: JOHN 3:16- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, THAT who so ever believeth in him,, should not perish , but have everlasting life. Now the names above would give their lives for you,, or would they,,, we know already with out any doubt ,,, God did give us His Son,,, and then with that , He gave us eternal life in Heaven,,, if we simply will just accept Him as our Savior in this world,,,,wow,,, can you get any better love than that? Now ,,, stop and ask yourself this simple question,,,,, WHO LOVES YOU THE MOST? Almighty God,,, thank you for the mighty love you gave each of us,,, and may we continue to deserve this love,,,, and return it with our acceptance,,,, amen John HIcks Love is a many splendor thing,,, don't let it pass,,,love a lot,,, ,,, just love God more,,, accept His Son,,, be saved....

MONDAY! Ready to start off a new day with God? or without Him? A good question! For there will be some who won't, for they don't care, some will put off the invitation, some will think someone else will think they are silly, or political incorrect, or someone is laughing at them,,,, and then,, there will be the "Champions", the real Christians, that will say ,,, with Him, and don't care what the above thinks or will say, but will say to them, I extend to you the same invitation that Jesus gave me,, and tell you what Jesus said, the only way to My Father, is through the Cross. So folks, remember who the Cross is,, it is Jesus Christ! Now, make your decision, ,for it is the biggest decision you will make this first day for the rest of your life! SUNDAY! Waking up today, is still like a dream,, for yesterday, another little Angel left Heaven, and joined our family ,,, His name is Mason Clark Livingston,, son of Todd, and Dana,,,brother to Noah. We have been by their side since entry to the hospital yesterday, got home late last night, and are now up , and getting redy for that good ole java, and more talk with our Lord, whom gave us this gift, and saw that all was well through out the complete birth.. may all credit go to to Him, and surely the Glory also! Thank You God for this little perfect angel! My perfect angel!!!! Like · · Share REFLECTION OF LIFE STARTED! Yes, I will let it be known that life does start at conception.. and I am pro life..... and the above picture shows that! We all need to look at life ,not as a thing , but a gift from above..for He has made us, and He will take us, when He desires... and we should always be ready,,,, and even tough we don't practice one of Jesus saying,,, we should cry at a birth, and shout with glory, and cry out with happiness upon a death... we need too! Life started yesterday with this birth, I am happy, I am just bursting with happiness , yet I know that God has written a plan for MASON CLARK LIVINGSTON,,,,,, just like He did for you and I ! BEING PLEASANT!

FRIDAY! TGIF! TGED! Good morning this great, of another of God's days, and be great-ful that He has chosen to let you and I share another one with Him, on this earth! As I awoke, I have said my good mornings to Him, gave my thanks, and have asked Him to come.. be with me today as I do what ever,, but it will be "things" I will be able to stand before Him and listen to repeated.. but that has not always been the case... but now with His Son at my side, I still can stand and stand with no past.. for He has taken it, and paid for it, and has my future in His hands, why, for I gave Him my all! Now, after all of this of a good morning,, How's your day going to start?,,, and how is it going to be,, with or without? BEING PLEASANT! Now, this is one thing we all can do, if we choose to do,, and that is to be pleasant! There are times we just feel like we have been run over by a truck, a transfer truck,,, and that is bad, right? Even with this ,,, we can be pleasant, we don't have to be a sour lemon.. all puckered up, lips turned down, attitude of, "you owe me something".. "get out of my way",, or as some ,, "I am waiting on you because it is my job, and I do not have to really smile.. I am paid to smile", when really as in all jobs, people should be smiling and thankful that they have one.. and should enjoy it, and if not, quit,, and find something that they like,, if they can.. don't take it out on others of your disappointment in your job, your life, or what ever has effected you today, to put you in this un-pleasant mood! ,, STOP,, and take it to the Lord,, for He is the one who can change all things,,, maybe not instant, and maybe in an instant.. but by faith,, and once tht you have been to Him, ask Him into your heart, give Him your soul,, then that will create a smile,,,and turn those lips up, and control that tongue before it wags.. and put you back in the PLEASANT STAGE! and make people glad to see you, and not frown after they have dealt with you! God, please enter all today, and put a real smile, not only on their lips, but in their hearts also.. amen John HIcks I smile, I talk(maybe too much), but I love life, and I love people, and I love my God over all, and I say that public,,,, and proud of it, yes, I am bragging of my love,, of my God!!!! Who do you brag about,, and do you do it with a smile or a frown? Smile , it takes less muscles and less energy! Really, a proven fact!!!

THURSDAY! Opening my eyes, and first thing I realize,, God is awake, and has prepared His task that He intends on me doing today, and as I rise ,,, I think ,,, isn't it good to wake up with good in my heart,rather than plan of hurt to to others.... sounds crazy,,, but we never know what we will wake up to ,,it is in God's control, so when you lay your head down, do it with Him,,,for He also plans the night,, and your tasks are always His,, but it is your choice to accept them...that is what God is about,, giving you the world, but the choice of enjoying it with Him, and not with just greed! So, how did you awake this great day of His? PERSONAL REFLECTION! Today, I feel like it is time for us all to just stop! Clear our minds, and have a heart to heart talk with God! We all think we are the sin free, almost the chosen ones... but folks we all need to pray, talk to God daily, and I recommend more than once a day.. if you feel the need, or the want.. foe I truly believe we live with, not around, beside, but with our God, and He loves to talk..and if you listen ,, you can hear Him back? No, I am not crazy, but you have to believe, and have faith, but He does talk back.... Now you think,, you have done so many good things, and you walk around ,,, and you are all along,, people are passing you by, not even nodding , or giving you any notice,, other than a get out of my way glance,,would you not be lonely? Well, with all that God has, and all the creations HE has created, He has created "man" i His own image,, doesn't that tell you something, in His own image,, so He must have wanted us to communicate with Him back,,, what do you think of your relationship with your Creator? STOP,, DO A PERSONAL REFLECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL LIFE,,,,,, AND ALSO YOUR PUBLIC "LOOK"! Lord, I do reflect on my life, and I must confess, I need forgiveness, and I ask You to forgive me, but I also ask forgiveness of my fellow ones who have sinned against me , as I forgive them first.... and Lord , I ask that you forgive this world of their deeds.. and put us all back on track , as You would love to have us on,,,and that is YOUR track...amen John HIcks Knowing that only a few reads this, but if just one comes to the Lord, all will be worth the words, the work, for all my work is for Him... just who do you work for? Did you include that in your personal reflection?

WEDNESDAY! When you roll out of that bed,, open your eyes and ask,, what I can do today,, not what I have to do today! Then invite God along, in what ever it is you decide to do! EYES WIDE OPEN This world was given to you and I by the Almighty God ,, to enjoy and claim of its nutrients of life. It was given to us to use ,, and with our eyes wide open to His might,, His power, His love, His rules.. If we choose to enjoy and use what He has made for us,, then this world will continue,, it will grow,,, it will be a paradise here,, but if we abuse it,, then it will become , too hot,, too dry,, to polluted,, soil ruined,, air not breathable,,, whoa!!! Do we need to stop right now?? I believe we need to stop ,, digest just what I have said,, and start changing as soon as possible for we are there,, and we have seen where we have come from in the past 200 years, 100 years, 50 years,,, we are headed down,,, not up,,, and we are , to my much concern,, doing it with our EYES WIDE OPEN Lord,, forgive us for what we are doing , and have done to Your great Creation,, and may we see the light and return to where You want us.. amen John HIcks Just looking,,and looking,, will you stop long enough to look?

TUESDAY! As Mr Rogers would say,,, "Great day in the neighborhood today!" If you start yours off with a mighty and hardy "Good Morning Lord", as you wake, YES!!!, it will be "A great day in your neighborhood today, where ever you make your neighborhood!". Have a great day! Prayer Thanks Today: For Tommy Mulling, whose Kidney Transplant went well,, news this day, is it is already working, and He is doing fine this morning. Thank you God for this and all the other requests you have filled ... they are all in our hearts and we are all thankful to our Creator , You,, God! Happy Birthday! I usually don't put birthdays in my thoughts,, but this is a birthday of exception.. for some three years ago, a man stopped by, got some crosses from our Cross Garden, and started giving out crosses, and he has to date,, given out at least 1000 crosses. and also today this man,, a great Christian, World War Two Veteran, and Baseball Al-star Hall of Famer, turned 90 years old today! May God bless you Jim Harp,, for just being Jim Harp,, a great friend, and a great person,, Happy birthday again! RESCUE ME! Many, many people have cried these two words,, at one time of their life! How many have really sought out the greatest lifeguard,, of the water, ground, wrecks, battle fields, earthquakes, storms, etc.. and cried out to their Lord,,, rescue me Lord! Now I ask you this question,, just how many have cried to Jesus this,,,, "Jesus, I ask you to come into my heart and soul , and save me from eternal damnation.. from satan and his crew?" If you have not, it is time for you to blow that lifeguard whistle, and ask Him to cast out that lifeline of eternal life, with Him.. and don't mind crying it out loud ,, for all to hear, and for all to see... as you cry out... JESUS ,, RESCUE ME, RESCUE ME FROM satan! I CONFESS MY SINS TO YOU, AND GIVE YOU, MY LIFE! Lord, thank You for Your saving power,, and my prayer also today is , that all will come to You, and leave their sinful ways. amen John Hicks Believer, and not afraid to stand and say it.. out loud on all of His principals.... how about you? Will you stand up today, and say so,, that someone will hear you say,, "Praise You Lord almighty from which all my treasures come!" Are you that bold on God, and His Son? I am!!! Join me today!!!! MONDAY! Good morning folks! I hope all woke up this morning with the thanks to their God of another day,, given by love, and a choice of that you,,, will worship Him for all your days,, Please stop, give Him a word of thanks, and then invite Him along with you in all you undertake this ,another of His gracious days! Prayers For This Day: I ask all to continue to pray for Tommy Mulling, who today is scheduled for Kidney Transplant Surgery,, all tests are complete, and He is scheduled for this morning... and also,, as you pray for him,, pray for little Emmie, his little grand-daughter, who is suffering form a high fever at home. For the family of John Kemp, and his wife's' family ,, John passed to heaven last night, and his wife preceded him the day before from a wreck they both were in.. pray for the family to receive relief from the God of their Faith. KEEPING HIS WORD! This is the hardest to do ,, why, I guess we are human, and we are all sinners! But, you know, we can correct this,, by being Christian Humans! Yes, Christian Humans,, have you met any lately? They are the ones who actually keep the laws of God, and Jesus" word from the New Testament.. They are the ones with that glow about, and around all they do... for they are "Daily Christians"... and this is the way we all can do just that,,,, glow, smile, be so happy,, pray to God, in secret, and in public,, be a wittiness for Him,not on special days,,, nor special times,,,, but at all times, and all days of your life,,, here, and now!... Yes, this is the way! so now you know that all those who keep the word, are Christians, and "humans",, not perfect , but "Human Christians", and if you are not, you can be, by accepting the Lord Jesus as your Savior,,, and that is the first step to KEEPING HIS WORD! The rest is your faith , and your "want" , and your request to Him daily!!!! God, you know our needs, you know us, and I ask for forgiveness of those who have sinned against us, and then forgive us of our sins, and I pray for those mentioned above, and for all those in need. I pray for our pastors who have a job so hard, but they keep trod-ding on.. please give them the strength they need... amen John HIcks

Here it is SUNDAY!,,, up and atta 'em,,, make it a day to remember,,, as all are,,, but make this one of all smiles,,, no frowns,,, can you do it? Try it,, it makes the heart glow,,, pump better,,, easier,, and it also takes the lines out on ones face,,, and makes the lips turn up,,, a wonder in it's self... go ahead ,,, look in the mirror, and tell me ,, which one do you like,,, the one who is smiling,,, or the one who is frowning? PRAYER REQUEST: For Tommy Mulling, who left this morning to go to Emory for a Kidney transplant.. Please pray for this man, He is very dedicated to his Lord! ASCEND:to rise up from a lower level DESCEND: move from a higher level , to a lower level HEAVEN: ascend, the region up and around the earth ,, the abode of God and His angels HELL: descend,the abode of the dead souls, condemned to eternal punishment CHOICE:select or choose Lord, thank You for giving us a choice,,, and not condemnation,,, and thank You for giving us Your Son , so we can ascend,,, amen John HIcks I have made the decision,,, make yours ,,, He is waiting to hear from you,, if you have already made your decision,,, well,, go ahead and talk to Him,,, with all He has to do to keep us ,,,, He might just like to talk to someone,, you know ,,,, "shoot the bull" with Him,,, asking for nothing, just you know,,,,,,, every-day talk,,, I do it!... FAITH!

SATURDAY! Good morning on this first day of the sixth month of this year? May the Lord be with you, and this world for the future, starting with this day one, of the first day,,, of the rest of your life! FAITH! "as big as a grain of mustard seed"..... what a statement,, to not ask for much faith, yet it is so hard to attain as a human! Faith, is something we as a nation, as an individual need more of,,and we need to practice it, starting it now, for this nation,, this world is driven by a force of people right now that we all don't of approve of...but are setting on our butts and letting it happen, and that includes me also! How about the little girl that was attending the called prayer meeting,,, during one of the worst droughts know... ground was breaking open, food was diminishing, drinking water rationed,, people buzzing around talking about just what was they going to do, when the preacher walked to the pulpit and saw the little girl setting there on the front beanch with a smile on her face, and an UMBRELLA in her hand! Can you see this faith setting there? Billy Grahams once statement of when he got to heaven , he was going to sleep the first 1000 years... and re-read the statement of when I get to heaven ,,not if, or I hope,, but WHEN! The knowledge of those two,, of not doubting, but ready,,, knowing who they were talking to, who they had served, what He had told them of this thing called FAITH! and they were practicing it,,,, are we? God, may this nation return , to the world carrying this faith of You on their back, showing all of them, You and Your glory,,, knowing they can carry the load,, with You beside them,,, amen John HIcks Faith is great,, having it and believing in it ,,,, is even greater!
