CHOICES!

SATURDAY! Week-end is here! What you do with it,, is your choice... and only yours.. you may say that someone influences you... but it all boils down to you, and what you decide, for you have the only decision in your brain, that will leave your mouth,and that gives you the choice, yes or no... and then the game is on! Make it right, take along the best companion available anywhere,, Jesus Christ.. for He will guide you true........ choices, choices........all yours!

CHOICES!

With the above start of today's thoughts.. I am going to make it just as simple as it gets.. Your choice of accepting Jesus Christ,,as your Savior, or satan as your savior, is strictly up to you ,,,, so in this life, and after this life.. you get to choose the way you want to go.........

UP,, OR DOWN!

God, I pray for all to choose up,, and to then to live like they really mean it, and that they don't slip and fall down, down,,,, and Lord , I pray this same prayer for my selfish self. amen

I believe in choices.. and some made wrong, can be fixed,, by making another one, a good one, and that is acceptance and prayer to Jesus,, and folks, I can't say enough on making that real and truthful choice!

YOUR PLACE OR HIS?

FRIDAY! TGIF! Even retirees, rich, poor,, employed, unemployed...we all reach for this day,, the one before the week-end, why? I know for the employed,, but the rest,, maybe it is the idea of visitation time... or just can't get over the old, old days of manufacturing,, and the upcoming day of rest... I think , it really is the upcoming day of rest,, the time in which we get to celebrate our Lord in any way we choose... what about you.. your ideas of this leaning forward during the week , till evening time of this day,,, Friday?


Today, a little humor to start your day, from Christine,,, Quick thinking by a senior citizen,, when stopped by a young patrol officer , an 83 year old woman gave him an ear to ear smile when he asked her "Do you know you were speeding?" and replied "Yes, but..... I had to get there before I forgot where I was going". The officer put his ticket book away, and bid her a good day...
We all need to smile each day. so now you give yourself, that ear to ear smile!

God wants to be your dwelling place..... He has no interest in being a weekend getaway or a Sunday bungalow..He wants you under His roof now, and always.. For many , this is a new thought.. We think of God as a diety to discuss.. not a place to dwell.. But our Father wants.... to be the one in whom "we live and move and have our being(Acts17"28 NIV). Now , you must make a choice make a choice as to where you want to dwell, all the time... not a "temp" place , when you need or just decide to! understand?

Lord , please us me as your dwelling place, 24/7.. and come into all who reads this and calls out.. come to them also,, for I know you will,, amen

DON'T GIVE UP!

THURSDAY! Open them eyes today, and and smile, then give God the praise of another great day,, for if He gives,, it is great! Praise God from which all comes.. accept it, for there is a reason.

Prayer Requests: We have a lot today,, so we need to spend some time on our knees,, oh you already do.. that is great, for I need to do a little double duty today!

Mary Lee: Cousin Tracy, who is having Kidney problems,, and her friend Amanda who is having trouble with her liver.. pray for the healing of both.

Continue to pray for Millie, who is still having a lots of pain, I talked to her early last night, and her pain is causing her some depression,, that is how bad that knee is hurting, so pray for relief of pain, and complete healing.

Danny Maddox, who is having Vertigo from a wreck,, and also, his body will not take and absorb iron through the stomach , this make him anemic,, please pray that it will start, and the IVs will not be necessary... and the he will get his steady feet back.

Charles, who is a friend of my Sister-in-Law, who is in the last stages of cancer.. Charles has been holding on, but barely,, please pray for my sister=in-law, Ruth , to have the strength to be by his side... and that God shows mercy on Charles at this time of his life..

A friend of mine, Brenda, who needs work, money, and cannot find work but that God is seeing her through ,,, may He find compassion on her, and give her the job , so she can stand alone as she wants so much..

Christine Hilley, who was in the hospital, very sick,,, out now,, please pray for her to continue to heal, and keep giving.. for she give more than she takes. Welcome home Christine , late, but welcome, and we are praying..

DON'T GIVE UP!

The God of surprises strikes again.. somewhere, beside you, around you, maybe you! God does that for the faithful.. so have faith,, no matter the time frame, for God will arrive,, on His time- table, not ours.. for He knows best!

Just when the womb gets to old for babies,,, Sara gets pregnant. Just when the failure is too great for grace, David is pardoned... when the world is dying in sin,, God sent His Son, for all.

The lesson? Three words,, DON'T GIVE UP! God is watching, for all you know... right at this moment... hey,,, the check may be in the mail. the job contract may be on the desk, the healing may be started, the pain , started to diminish,, slow, but diminish, the healing has started. or about to.. so DON'T QUIT FAITH! For if you do,, you may miss the answer to your prayers... God is closer than you think, God is working when you don't think He is,,, so ,,, keep that faith,, spend time on your knees talking to Him, for He listens to all.. and think , you could be next.. on that list of complete healing... so

DON'T GIVE UP! EVER!

God, I pray this prayer this morning, for you to intervene in the lives of all mentioned in the prayer request today.. work your miracles.. for you are the"miracle worker" of all,, the healing Doctor of all physicians ... the God of our lives, the faith of our eternity,, the giver of good when our faith is shown... I pray for the healing of all, and the healing of our nations' soul ... amen

I complain of several pains , and aches, not able to do a ten hour day hard work, but I look, and I am so blessed.. when we think the worst is in us,, we need to just to stop, and count the blessings that we do have.. is you do this, don't plan anything for a long time.. for your list of blessings ,,,,,, is that long...believe me...

REDORATION!

WEDNESDAY! The ole "hump" day,, the middle of this week! As I have said many,many times,, plan for the next days of your slide from here to the weekend,, and make sure you sand this wooden slide of days, and of life.. so you don't have to worry about splinters in the backside of your life,, when you get to the week-end, or the judgment... it's a lot better to sit down,,if you have slid on a sanded slide.. than that old rough cut ones.. & one could buy an aluminum one,, but they also get pitted and can have little sharp points, on them.. I know , the best way to slide free of splinters, is to the "splinter proof slide of life" with the one and the only one that can guarantee a splinter free slide ,, and that my friends is Jesus Christ,, the slide of a lifetime...He's my slide for the day,, and this life,,,who are you going to slide through this day, and life with?

Prayer Request: Many,, of those who are hurting,, fallen down in life's pathway, needs warmth, food, shelter, and most of all love,, from us, and our prayers to our Lord , for them, not us.. be brave, be faithful,,, no matter the turmoil... keep God, and Jesus in your heart,,, he will see you through it, this is my prayer, and my prayer request to all today.. will you pray with me for these things?

God loves to decorate.. just look around this great world, and you will see the greatest decorations of color, matter placed,, people dressed in all arrays of costume..that one , can even fathom to engulf all of it,,, and if one will ... JUST LET HIM LIVE LONG ENOUGH IN THEIR HEART,, THAT HEART WILL BEGIN TO CHANGE! Portraits of hurt will be replaced by landscapes of grace.... This might explain some of the discomfort in your life. Remodeling of the heart is not always pleasant. We don't object when the Carpenter ,,adds a few shelves.. but He's been know to gut the entire west wing! Wow! What a change! He has such high aspirations for you... He wants you to be just like Jesus!
Are you ready to let old (sins) go? Are you ready for a "re-decorate" from God,,, do you want closure,, then let Him in , by the front door,,and let His Son ,, The Carpenter of Soul come in, and start the

STIRRING OF YOUR HEART,, AS HE RE-DECORATES IT!

Lord, I know we all think we have a heart of clean, sin free , for we have already gave you our heart and our soul,, but Lord ,, I know I am a sinner, and I need a re-decorate , every so often.. please come on in. amen

YES , WE WORRY!

TUESDAY! Up and atta 'em ,,,this very cold morning here in Yatesville, Georgia,, it 30 degrees here,, and I know it's cold in other places,, probably lower north of here, and warmer down there in Fla. also...but all warmed up, when I heard two things this morning.... my wife coming down the hall way,, uttering something, that I finally interpreted ,,, it's cold and is the coffee ready? Heaters red with heat, coffee was just about ready to pour,, and it was just about to turn to 4:45 a.m. God is good,, to give us a time of bonding, even as we wake ,, to start the day,,, with Him,, I said WITH HIM! Now who was you going out in this cold with,, this day? Here , take Jesus with you,,,for that real warmth,, an everlasting warmth,, as you brave the elements of your area,,, where ever you are, God Bless You All !

YES,,,WE WORRY!

We worry. We worry about IRS and the SAt and the FBI ... We worry that we won't have enough money, and when we have money, we worry that we won't manage it well. Honestly, now , would He teach you to walk , just to watch you fall? Would He be nailed to the Cross for your sins and then disregard your prayers?
come on,,,, is scripture teasing us when it reads... "He has put His angels in charge of you to watch over you wherever you go" Psalm 91:11?

I DON'T THINK SO EITHER!

Lord, thank You for our Angels ,that You have watching over us,, with you in the overall tower of a watchful eye, answering our trillions of prayers, by the minute,,, and still after all our greed of asking and worrying,, you still LOVE us,, more than anything else... thank You Lord,, for being my GOD! amen

Yes, I worry too,,, even when we are told not to.. but I guess it is not only human,, FOR our lack of faith.. but one thing I do not worry about , and that is who is beside me at all times.. do you know who walks with you?

WHO IS IN CHARGE?

MONDAY! GOOD MORNING! Today is bowl day,, or is it all week this year? I just can't figure, and the Rose Parade,, today too?.. I guess it is true,, if a Holiday falls on Sunday, then it is celebrated on Monday! It just will not be the same,, to set around on the second day of January and watch the Rose Parade and bowl games.. but you know,, that is the way things is going on in our capital also,, a day late and "dollars "short!,, just had to add that.. but today is one thing for sure, and that is that I awoke with Jesus at my side, and every day, and every night , will He be there by my request,, and it does not matter if it is a holiday,, or the Monday following that holiday.. we, Jesus and I, will be side by side.. who is that at your side?

Prayer Request: For Millie... she is in terrible pain from her surgery,, almost unbearable.. but she is still up and going to therapy... please pray,, that this pain subsides, and complete healing will take place.. prayer can be the best pain killer we know, so let's give her an overdose on this one.. will you ?

WHO IS IN CHARGE?

Of our nation,,, as I write this, and who will be in charge of it after the election? So much money is spent on going into the highest office of the world.. and the offices of those so called "for the people",, also elected officials.. that this money spent,, could feed the world that is starving , starting with their own nation, THEN all the others who will still have us.. Did you read that part,, still have us?
Yes, we are going to the socialist control of government right under our noses.. and if you say too much,, it could cost you,, your life, your freedom, your scarred friends, your butt kissing friends of those in office who are waiting of their so called crumbs to be thrown at them... now, a question in this out-cry,, who are you? It is a cry for all to stand, and stand tall for God and Country! Are you one of the still Free Americans, or are you folding? Are you careful what you say over the phone, write on emails, leave on someones message machine,, walk in the open carrying an American Flag, or even fly one, for it might not be political correct.. nor even put a small wooden cross in your yard? Yes , I have had plenty of re-course on the giving out of these crosses.. but you know what,, I still do, and will continue to do so.. no matter what "these " "in chargers" say or do... against our freedoms.. or the tearing down of our government with all the greed of a vulture tearing at the flesh of their own kind,, Now for the answer to my question of WHO IS REALLY IN CHARGE , of our country. our world,, it is by and will be , always, GOD ALMIGHTY,, and our fate is in His hands as WE pray, and that means , those in office, sincerely praying from the heart for all others , rather than themselves,,
Now , it is time for all of us to get on our knees,, pray for the preservation of our forefathers,, their wishes, their fighting and their dying for,,, for this nations freedom, and not for us winning the lottery!
Now will you , get with me get on your knees, and let's take this nation back with prayer to our Almighty God,, and let's put

HIM IN COMPLETE CHARGE,, AGAIN!

God, have mercy on this nation, and I pray for the hungry, the cold, the non-believers, the lost,, and for myself, a sinner also... again , I pray for mercy to this nation. amen

$45 HOUSE PAYMENT,, THE PLANTING A GARDEN, A MILE SQUARE ,JUST TO CULTIVATE AND PICK, PREPARE BY CANNING,,,JUST TO FEED THOSE FIVE HUNGRY KIDS,, THAT COULD EAT A BUSHEL BASKET,, EVERY DAY...AND COOKING IT MOM ON A WOOD STOVE, OLDER BOYS CUT THE WOOD,, TO COOK AND WARM US,,AND DAD, Y OU TAUGHT US ALL THE LESSONS OF WORK,, WITH PRIDE.. AND THEN WORRYING IF THOSE OLE JUNKIE CARS , THAT WE THOUGHT WERE CADILLACS,, WOULD RUN, MUCH LESS TAKE US TO TOWN, OR TO GEORGIA TO VISIT GRANDMA,,FROM THAT LITTLE OLE FARM..AND BACK... WORRIED IF WE HAD PANTS, SHOES, & SISTER HAD A DRESS,, BEFITTING HER GREAT BEAUTY... YES, YOU STRUGGLED,, WE ALL HAD LOVE, AND THAT WAS TO BE A PRESENT WE ALL NEVER LET GO OF....WE KEEP THIS IN OUR HEARTS,, AND THEN SHARED IT WITH OTHERS ...I WISH I HAD DONE MORE TO HELP YOU , THAN TO PUT GRAY HAIR ON YOUR HEAD, AND MAKE YOUR NERVES SEVERED,, FROM MY DOINGS.. YES, I COULD HAVE DONE BETTER, FOR YOU DID FOR ME, & FOR ALL THE FAMILY.. FOR YOU NEVER SENT US TO CHURCH,, YOU TOOK US.. WE LISTENED, WE ABSORBED,, WE DIDN'T KNOW WE DID,,, YOU AND DAD DID NOT KNOW FOR SURE THAT IT WAS SINKING IN.. BUT AS WE GREW,, SO DID GOD WITHIN US ALL.. FOR THAT SOMEONE HAD BEEN RAISED AS ME,, AND TOOK THE LIGHT AND LET IT SHINE ALL ABOUT ME, UNTIL I COULD SEE,, JUST AS

BOTH OF YOU ,, AND HE , JESUS RAISED US UP,, AND NOW,,, WE CAN SEE IT ALL..
