LOOKING AHEAD

WEDNESDAY! Hump Day? Not this week, for you had a holiday, so today is just Wednesday.. but still two more to go, until the W/E... slow down, time goes by too fast now...if you are getting old, ha! The Lord gives us a good sense of humor,, only if we will use it,, and have plenty to laugh at.... 435 legislators.... 100 senators.... 1 President.. ourselves, now folks that is pure humor,, agree?

Prayer Request: For Little Joseph: From Judy yesterday:
I've been waiting until they read the MRI to send another update.
It's NOT GOOD... Jon said their worst fears were confirmed with the scan this morning. The tumor has come back. It's on the brain stem which explains why his eyes aren't focusing properly.
Evidently the radiation is not having any effect.
Jon's attitude is, we knew from the beginning we were going to have to have a miracle from God and that's still the case.
We just all need to pray harder.God is in control.
Thanks for your prayers.

LOOKING AHEAD!
As we go through this life, we tend to look for things ,, yes things,, that make up, our now life, make our future life better,, and there is nothing wrong with this.. It is a smart thing to do.. look at the future,, and prepare for it.. for how much future we have, we don't know.. but we go on faith, and that is exactly what we should do..but be prepared for what it holds... our destiny,, our leisure years,,, I always like the old saying "our golden years"... but we do not need to prepare in a way, that leaves us friendless, or hated. Don't push your friends aside for worldly goods.. don't push your relatives aside for worldly goods. and don't trade your soul for worldly goods. When you do the above , you are really preparing yourself for a lie , and an eternal life of hell. If you gain by stepping on someone, then you have lost, not gained... but for some to realize that , it is like trying to replace their brain, for the space is too limited to do that.
So to look ahead,, first keep you head tilted toward the East.. but treat all that you come into contact with, exactly the way you want to feel, and to be treated... if you know of someone who does not have, then give them some of yours, and of you.. if they are lonely,, visit with them, if they are sick, consul them and pray for them before they are sick & also when they are sick,, and pray for all you know, this world, and then your soul, give it to God.... Worship God, and only God... never gold , silver , or the almighty dollar, it will not get you into Heaven... as I have said before , you have never seen a hearse with a luggage carrier on top... for God accepts souls, not things... and believe me,,, right now, AMERICA,, remove the luggage carrier, and start looking to Him, and to the East more, for we are on a shore fuse...
Now that you have read this, and got your thinking to going , at least for a few minutes on the road to the future,, how many of you that are of the younger age, that will do this, trust in this, and how many of us "older" folks testify to it? So now,, really,,, just who all is stopping long enough to

LOOK AHEAD,, AT LEAST TO THE MOUNTAIN, IF NOT OVER IT?

I do look ahead, and I do profess Jesus in public and loudly with no shame, and I will continue to do this as long as my Lord lets me breath,, How about you, will you stand next to me ,, or just say you will?

HUNGER!

TUESDAY- Welcome to this start of the work-week for lots of people,, and amiss , a day of out looking for work for another large percentage.. may all get what they desired this great day...have faith, it may not show up right this instant, but it will show up,, just remember ,, Life is a lot like a pencil.. you start out with a good sharp point, and it writes so good..but as you write more,,(live more), it gets dull,, and the writing is wider, not as sharp, a little harder to see.. as the lead wears closer to the body of wood.. BUT,, remember this above all... pencils can be re-sharpen, well so can a body, if they want to.. so just ask the power that built the body ,, then ask for a re-sharpen,,, and get going... I mean it.. get up and get going! Even if your eraser is worn a little ,, just write slower, and better,, then you don't need that ole eraser! Right? Remember,, a smile can be started by you OR some one else, so start smiling also, and keep looking at others for theirs, bet you get some back!

PRAYER REQUEST: My neighbor, James Streeman, who is have an out-patient surgery this morning, please pray for a successful operation and the quick healing for James..

HUNGRY?

Not for the stomach nor the body,, but the soul? How many of us have been hungry just to hear and be with a great country revival feast of fellowship, but we all still turn into the fast "feed" places, that offer a quick fix for the the Sunday that is to last a week , then back again for another plate of the same ole stuff? Well, it is time we all get back down on our knees and save this country or let it just go right on to hell.. for folks , if it don't change,, and that includes me,you, and all who reads this , get on our knees in sincerity, and pray for God to help us out of this ditch of self destrucgtion,,and GET UP AND TALK TO YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT GOD AND COUNTRY, AND THEN ASK THEM ALL TO BOW THEIR HEADS AND SAY A SHORT PRAYER TO GOD FOR RE-IN-STATEMENT OF HIS FORGIVENESS AND HELP! Can you do this,, publicly? Now did you get it... are you ready to feed on the real word of God, or are you still feeding on that bad habit of greed ,, right along with all those making decisions, with you standing beside them cheering or are you standing in front of new people making the decisions.... newly elected officials.. who are handing out plates of real work, and Godly food , without an apology? Be there for God, and He will be back here for us.. but keep on being a gluten for the good life without Him,,,, and you will find the hole in the road ,, and you will fin it has no other side..only depth! So watch what and where you go, to feast on the posterity of this country... and go on a diet from greed, and start with more of a

HUNGER FOR GOD!

Lord, may all pray to You for You to come back into our sinful nation, and make us whole again... restore our old country, take the new and send it overseas with the jobs that our leaders have sent,,, and send them also. amen..

Pardon the pun,, but I am fed up! with the way our country is running, and then I look at what is written on FB and other pages... and then I can see,, some are trying,, some are ????? Yes ?????? We need more trying.. instead of ignoring!

WHERE DO YOU STAND

MONDAY! Labor Day! Today, you can sit around and do just what you want to do! Labor not!,,,, unless you are a wife, a mother, a grandmother,, and then your work is never at a standstill... it is 24/7.. unless someone gives you a complete day off... and that is not to stay at home, but to get out all by yourself or a friend/relative! Now do all you men agree with me ,,,, or do you want to do the wash, vacuum the floors.. dust the house,and most of all,,, not eat? Well your answer had better be,, yes I agree! May God bless the women of our world and the true labors!

PRAYER REQUEST IN EARNEST OF THIS DAY: God to restore the jobs that our crazy and greedy politicians, and CEO's sent to our enemies,,, to make so cheap & make more money than they needed,, as they also also let them lend them "gold dollars" , from our gold reserve.. to quench their greedy thirst.. God forgive them, & send them to these countries to live, and I ask and beg You to save our nation.. for I put you first and foremost in the statement of ,,,"IN GOD WE TRUST"..

Asking ,just where do you really stand in this world,, are you standing for to be seen, or are you standing for the Lord,,, you or HIM? You answer this question, alone, quietly,, and then ponder your answer for a while in your heart, and then answer yourself, "am I happy with this way?" THOUGHTS FOR TODAY!

SUNDAY! Today is God's day , as all the others are also, except on this day, He choose to rest from all the hard work He had done building this world in only six days for us all to enjoy.. NOW,, we must rest,, while we keep trying our darnest to tear it down in six days , and sometimes (most times) seven.! We are typical ,,,, man, and woman... combined... we can either make this a better world, or stay self centered tearing it apart and live on , as long as you can..or we can stop, now... put God first, and live , the right way.. and tear nothing down! Which are you? TEAR DOWNER, OR LIVE RIGHTER? You look in your mirror and answer this to yourself and no one else,, if you dare!!!!!



Whatever our individual troubles and challenges may be, it’s important to pause every now and then to appreciate all that we have, on every level. We need to literally “count our blessings,” "give thanks for them, allow ourselves to enjoy them, and relish the experience of prosperity we already have.”



Today if all will read the above two things,, over again, absorb them, you if taken literally and in heart,,,then can you really trot off to a great,,, (rest )of Labor Day! Have a great , great God's day and great days on... for the rest of your life is my prayer today, and I give thanks for all I have in this world to my Lord.. amen

Now , you can receive other things,, promotions,, etc,,that tell you,,, to get this benefit, you must call this telephone number or get onto the Internet to activate.

Now,,, how about the Lord? Have you called on Him and activated Him into your life? Just call out ,, you don't
need a phone , nor the Internet to contact Him.. just a mere voice of sincerity...yours, asking, please accept me,, for I accept You as my Savior,, and my only God... AMERICA
To a large extent, the American church has become merged with the world. It has adopted so many of the worlds ideals and standards that is sweeping the nation. For millions of church members there is NO DEEP COMMITMENT TO THE CAUSE OF CHRIST! There is no regularity of attendance at public worship, no sacrificial giving, no personal religious discipline...
I see this in the people I know, the people I see and talk to... and I include myself in this... for I need daily reminders of just why we are here, and for who...
While the nation sees an increase in crime, immorality, adultery, drunkenness, irreverence, and infidelity and open apostasy, millions of "professing Christians" have forgotten the Word of Scripture that says, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him... take up his cross daily"(Luke 9:23).
Christ regarded His followers as a select company,, that belonged to a different world.. HIS! Not the worldly goods that we all take for riches,, but the riches of the blood that He shed, the life He re-gave us all.. the path He paved to Heaven , to His and our Father ,, our God.. yes,, what HE gave,, HIS LIFE!
Now we set aside the morals. and put in the mockery,,, is this you,, or are you committed? I mean not in words only, but in your actions.. will you stop the cursing,, when you hear it, or are you afraid of the consequences? Will you stand for God, and country,, or will you stand behind those of this country.... Think of how far we have come,, soldiers who have been out defending our nation, wounded and home.... now about to lose their homes, on food stamps.. wow, if we treat them this way,, then I can imagine how we treat our Lord...
Now , the Christian should stand out like a sparkling diamond against a rough background. He should be more wholesome than anyone else. He should be poised, cultured, courteous, gracious, but firm in the things he does or does not do. He should laugh and be radiant; but he should refuse to allow the world to pull him down to its level!
Now , just where do you stand this day? are you a real Christin.. or just a Sunday Morning, Sunday Night, or Wednesday Night Christan,, who practices on a schedule instead of the heart?
MAY GOD FORGIVE THIS NATION, AND MAY ALL THE PEOPLE OPEN THEIR EYES, AND REPENT! RE-TAKE THY CROSS AND FOLLOW OUR JESUS, OUT IN THE OPEN AND DO IT WITH PRIDE, NOT CAMOUFLAGED, is my prayer for today.

LOOK ON THAT HILL!

THURSDAY- You are in the middle of your last part of the slide to the w/e! Do you still have Him with you as you slide,, or are you letting Him slow down ,, behind, as you make your plans, kinda as if there are some things, you may want to be alone on? Better re-think,, for today, tomorrow, and always,,, you should "want" Him to not only stay abreast of you,,but slightly ahead! Right? Yes!

Prayer Request: For Joni Jennings son, Marshall, who is 10 , and diagnosed with Type 1, diabetes and whose blood sugar rose to over 1000 Sunday... He was unable to walk during ER treatment... but he has undergone many, many pricks to the fingers, blood withdrawals..two days fasting, and now is resting, from all the testing and getting his insulin injections.. God was shinning on them both,, and is continuing to shine,, pray for Marshall to overcome this, and also for rest and peace for Mom... God Bless Both!

LOOK! ON THAT HILL!
What is it ,, I can hardly see it.. oh my! It is a man,, and He is nailed to a cross..oh my! LOOK! As we got closer,, you could see the spikes through the hands,,, the feet crossed ,and spikes through them also. Someone has speared His side, and placed a crown of thorns upon His head.. oh I hear one of the soldiers mocking Him,, asking ,, " do you want a drink of water?",, then giving Him vinegar! Oh ,my what has this poor man done... and His mother just looks at me, and says,, This Son,,, has done nothing wrong , He was perfect,, but He is just paying for all of man-kinds sin, for now, to always...
And then I heard this voice,, that said,, "FATHER FORGIVE THEM, FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO!".. This man asks for forgiveness to these soldiers, these people who have just crucified Him... He must be the Son of God.. and then the Heavens went black, and the thunder roared, and lighting jumped all around.. and then I knew.. that on that

OLD RUGGED CROSS,, HUNG MY SAVIOR, THE SON OF GOD,,,MY JESUS CHRIST!
THE DEBT OF OUR SINS,,,BEING PAID........IN FULL!!!!!!
When is the last time you looked upon that hill, and thought about
the price paid for your life?

God, how can we ever thank You for giving us your only Son.. just for us and for the forgiveness of our sins.. so I profess to come to you by this cross, and cling to it,, until I meet you one on one. amen
