DRINK OF HIM!

Wednesday- Ole hump day! Are you ready to slide to the week-end? Do you have your splinter proofs on.. for if you don't plan ahead,, you could get some mighty rough splinters as you slide! Call on Jesus and make Him your slide buddy ,, and then you can slide without worry, for He is splinter proof, and also fun to be with!! Have a nice slide to the W/E!

Prayer Request: For Gene Bachman, who has been feeling real bad,, had to make a quick trip to the hospital,, get a little fluid and back home for now... pray for him and his wife, for God to heal and comfort them both.
For Deb Treadgils mother ,,, who underwent surgery yesterday, had her spleen taken out and half of her pancreas.. she is doing as best as she can after the operation.. please continue to pray for her to improve and get well..
Pray for those above , and also keep in mine those around the world,, that needs your prayers also,, and around the world means here in the USA, also.

DRINK OF HIM

We all, at one time have been so thirsty, our mouths, lips, tongue, and throats were as dry as sand, and parched like salt.
When we reach a drink of water,, wow, did we drink, and so thankful for that one long pull on that glass, dipper, or bottle.. good cool water, so soothing, and so cool ,, all the way down.. saved by that one drink of water.. for without that water,, you would die.. yes die.. life cannot withstand this world, without water.. yes that is a fact! Makes you want to find it and put it somewhere safe , as to not run out of it,, right, yes we all feel like we must guard the water supply,, keep it clean, and let know that we are water conservatives",, and the guardian of it... we want to live! Right? We want to escape death.
How about the "death", of eternity? Life here is so temporary,, then why do we treat it so great,, compared to the eternal death... We guard our water, we holler if we all don't have it, we insist that our government give it to us,,supply us with this liquid gold.. yet we let them take away our eternal water of life,, Jesus Christ,, Oh, you can have Him in Church, out on the road(if not a national road, or state), so you can have Him on a county road,, in a ditch,, in a house,, you just cannot have Him in the government that makes the laws as to your life here,, and yes it affects your eternal life.. Why do we stand for a senator walking into a room, or a supreme court judge,, or our president with a bottle of water, when they will not let one walk into a government building with the Bible in our arms with the intension of reading from it.. but the water bottle they are carrying in, or putting on their podium,,is for them to drink from there of, and in front of all of you,, thus substaining their worldly life, and yet keeping you from your life of not only here but your eternity..
I know this sounds like a crazy example, but it is truth,, we must put the "drink of life" ,,Jesus Christ, Our God, back into this land,, and be able to drop and worship Him anywhere and anytime.. What would our government do if we spread a blanket on the ground, and pray to a chunk of coal, or a rock , out in times square,, they would be so offended as to say anything...they would look and walk away,, but put Jesus in front of that blanket and you will go jail.. so I challenge each of you to take your Jesus, your glass of life,, and lift it and drink of it anywhere you please to do so.. and dare someone to take and break your life!

DRINK OF HIS BLOOD, FROM HIS CROSS , ANYTIME AND ANYWHERE! I dare you!

God, thank You for Your Son and the drink of His salvation to give us eternal life with You. amen
