Samaritians?

SATURDAY! A very good morning to all, and may all wake up the Lord with you by request, and I pray for all t be safe and warm! We travel from our homes to our shopping places of need or for just play of shopping...we ride in a warm car/truck,, we rush from vehicles to the shops in our heavy coats.. and hats...gloves..shoes with socks, yes with socks.. and yet, I am just as guilty to write down ,,,please God help those who are homeless, cold, no warm clothing, no coats, no shoes much less socks ,, nor food this morning to eat,, as we rush into our fast foods for our morning biscuits and hot coffee...or our warm comfortable kitchens, that are warm, and our automatic coffee makers, with coffee already brewed so we can click on the T.V. or our phones.. to see the outside,,, yes,,, me, I am just as big a hypocrite as we all are, really, and I admit, that it is hard to give when we read of those who abuse these "hand outs",,,but should we judge? Or should we just continue to set and pray, just a little harder for God to take care of the problem!!!! YES THIS MORNING, I CALL MYSELF THE BIGGEST OF ALL HYPOCRITES,, BY SITTING HERE ON MY! Prayer Request: As we have Jesus in our hands and heart today, I pray that also we hand off our testimony to all we meet, and not just hold Him to ourselves, for He belongs to all,,,for my Father in Heaven sent Him , not to save one, but to save the world, so let's all today ,,,,"hand off a testimony, or two, or more"! God , give me the energy to give a coat, a meal, a warm place to anyone I may see today without, and may all who reads this do also, lets be the "Good Samaritans" we claim to be,, instead of wailing out our wants of You to take care of all.. and give us the want , and the faith that You instilled in each of us to do as you would,, and that is to will help others in distress,, amen John HIcks This morning , I am going to load up extra coats.. and when I see someone cold, I will stop and give them the coat,,, or maybe a blanket, and then drive and get them a hot meal and take it back,,,for I make that promise this very day! I had nothing t write this day, but well you see, it is all about ,, what I am professing, and what I am not doing!! Make the choices today with me!

BURRR!!!!

MONDAY! Burrrrrrr!!!! Here in the deep south, it is cold,,, but we know, we are clear in most places,of snow and ice,, and we are in prayer for those in those snow covered, so deep,, they can not see the streets, and are running out of places to put it! Too bad, they can't take the stuff by Jet, to the places who are under droughts! How much can a tanker hold? Not funny! Well, we will just continue to let God be in control! He made it and He will deal with it,, and this , I do believe in!!!!! Keep your faith for the warmth of the Sun of Summer will come, if He so desires it to come!!! Today, I will warm my heart with the belief of Jesus, and of God,, and of His teaching of while He was here with us as a man.. and now with us a spirit , and has not changed one bit! No, He is as He was ,,, for He showed Himself before He ascended.... and folks,, I know that what He gave us, and what Our Father God gave us(His own Son),,, stands today,, and even thought some do not live , nor read the word, His Bible,,, I do.. and I will stand. and I will pray for the stoppage of the ISIS, and put all my faith in Him! all I ask today is just where do you , or what do you PUT YOUR FAITH OF YOUR ETERNAL FUTURE IN? LORD,, I pray that all will rush to YOU, and be saved! Amen John HIcks

UPDATE ONLIBBY, AND PRAY TO GOD,AND TRUST IN HIM FIRST AND FOREMOST!

THURSDAY! Good morning to all! First,,let me thank you all for your prayers, and concern for Libby, for we do put God first, and He has shown already to start the healing,,,her breathing is now up to 92-94,, from 87,, so oxygen if off for now,, temperature finally broke to normal, even thought her statement is "Almost there,, BUT not quiet"...then that little weak smile..still not allowed to get up and walk without a "lending person" at her side,,,,, so all in all ,, She IS improving, and we are still praying. so please continue as we pray for all of you and all those others who are worse, and need Him more than we! So ,let's remember,that no matter how bad we are, there are those worse,, we are only one grain of sand on His beach, so pray not always for want, but just to talk to Him, and share YOUR love back to Him...May all have a great of another God's days... and remember, if you are in need, PRAY! , for HE listens 24/7, and HE loves you 24/7! God , please look down upon all those that are sick, and not only the body , but sick of the soul also, and please give us the words, and the way to witness to them to bring them back to Jesus and You. I give my and our thanks for all the blessing we have , for we know all comes from You, and we just have to have the faith, again ,, thank You Lord, for our blessings..amen Love to all,,, John

FAITH,, YES AGAIN!

SUNDAY! The day set aside for rest! So, you must decide what is rest to you, and what is work! some people have to be doing something,, they just cannot set around and "do nothing"! Some can just set by "work" of any-kind,, any time of any day,, it is just a "built in time for them"! lol. So? Work or pleasure? You must make the decision, for you will answer for your decision one day,,, so never , ever make a "quick decision",, WHEN it come to a decision on what is right, and what is wrong! It seems around here, I am always wrong, and guess who is always right? I say this in fun, for it , here is always a 50/50 decision, and always will be! So, today, it your decision, now stand up to the test! Look it up in Websters,,, or are you too young to know who Webster is,,, and if you are then just "Google it"! WHERE IS satan? RIGHT THERE BESIDE YOU, JUST WAITING ON YOU TO MAKE A SLIP UP! SO BE PRAYERFUL, AND FAITHFUL TO GOD, AND THEN THAT IS ALL he satan), CAN DO,,,,, IS JUST SIT,, FOR GOD , IF YOU HAVE ASKED, WILL NOT LET HIM PENETRATE YOU!!!! FAITH IS THE ANSWER!!!! FRIDAY! Well, another of His days,,, and welcome to it...and after talking to Him, I feel as if we are all on the right track!,,,, IF WE ARE PUTTING HIM FIRST,, US LAST! And you did which? Prayer Request, and Prayers of Thanks: Pray for Mandy Vaughn Newby,, that her "re-shock " of her heart is successful, and the rhythm will keep solid and beating right for all times! Thankful for Bootsie doing good! and all those others whom we have been praying for!!! Makes us know that God is real, and not real close, but right on top of all! Marjorie Walden,, successful knee surgery, now on the way to home and mending.. praise God! For Perry Livingston, who is doing good, with his outpatient surgery, again, praise God! For all the Pastors of this world, that are God called, and preach the word of God as truth, and the saving grace of Jesus Christ, as our only Salvation!! TODAY,,,,, FAITH! You know about the "mustard seed" ,, so how many mountains have you moved today? You and I need to practice what we preach, and we need to look at that mountain, and rethink of our faith..... of what we say we have, and why is that mountain still there! Make sense, then let me know! Some will smile, some will answer, but will any pray for that missing faith , that we claim, but do not have as much as we think we have, and we ask for help to the one who told us of this "mustard seed"? Yes,,, I know,, this message has been on ere by me time after time,,,(as our prior pastor , Steve McGuire knows of how of his sermons were repeated, and was told so by Jack Mitchell) ,, if so on we go, and I will just say as Steve would laugh and say from the heart,, "Well, did I do any better this time?"... so there you go.. did I Lord, thank You for the message today, for as I set down , I had none, but when I sigh my name today, I can say,,, "Yes, it was a good message!"... again ,, thank YOU GOD FOR IT! amen John HIcks Thank You My God!

WORDS FROM THE HEART!

THURSDAY! Happy day to all of you,, and I ask, have you thanked God for it,,yet? I have prayed for the words today,,, for I have none , except my own... and when that happens, then I walk , still forward, never backwards.... for even God will turn over the words to someone else once in a while for He leaves little messages, and He gives His own, messages to keep close to the heart.. of Him...and folks, those of "His",, not one person but all, for we all are His! It is up to us as to how we use this closeness! For He,,, if you have accepted Him, and Jesus, is within ,,,,,, so never are you lost, just HE says ,, to write or speak,,, what I have already put in your heart! So , today, I write this,from my heart , and my want!!! This is for all those who have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, don't hide it, let it just flow from your mouth, your actions, the no doubting, but the positive,, and if you have already accepted Jesus,, and you feel like you want to re-dedicate your self to Him,, then do it, either within your prayer closet, or out at anywhere, for He, and The Father are always there!!!! ,,,,Those who do not know the "accepting" Jesus as your personal Savior,,,please STOP, and think, then please do so... and make Him your own personal Savior, for nothing in this world , can you use to get to Heaven, but Jesus, and nothing,,, here can you take with you!!!! So folks that is what is in my heart today, the salvation of all of my friends, and all the people of the world,, for the world is HIS!,,,, Not ours.. for we are only traveling through it for such a short time, but IF we will travel with Him ,,,then we will continue to travel from here to there, and then it is boundless, with no ends! Tell me ,,, can you even imagine that?,,,,,,,, Prayer Request Today: For Becky Akins, Ruth Bachmans' daughter , who is sick and needs your prayers! Lord, thank You for my day, and I ask that it be filled with Your wants, today, and not mine! amen John HIcks You know "love" comes to one, in many, many ways, and most people go through life without ever knowing this love,, never hold back this love. give it freely,, for our Savior died on The Cross,, so terrible a death,,,and as the ones who was treating Him with so much disrespect. and so much hate, HE WAS RADIATING LOVE BACK TO THEM,,,AND FORGIVING THEM AT THE SAME TIME,AND SAYING IT SO ALL COULD HEAR!!! so you see LOVE is very precious, so tell it!!! To say, I love you!! is always welcome, but when you say it ,,,, MEAN IT!!!!!

FOR GOD TOLD ME!

WEDNESDAY! Good morning! Guess what day it is? As my friend, William McChargue reported already ,,, take a back seat ole camel,,, for it the day of the Lord, and He is the one ho has given it to you,and to me!!! Now, why don't you return the favor or HIM saying , by waking you, "good morning",,, back to HIM, "Good morning God, and thank You for my, another day!" HOW DO I KNOW? Take a blind man or woman , that has been blind for there entire life, a deaf man who has never heard a word, a mute, who has never spoken, a born crippled person, who has never walked, heard or seen anything, and yet they all know of God, of Jesus, and that Jesus is the Son of God, and if they receive Him, they will be taken to Heaven ,,, and will be normal,, even though they do not know what normal here is....but they do know what normal is there! We, the sighted, the hearing, the talking, the walking, the smart ones, the educated, can read of all this in the true BOOK of our God.. and we are taught these things, YET, we choose this world...and are lost forever,, for once cast into that lake of fire, it is for an eternity, screams, biting, hitting, begging for just a drop of water, but never dieing,, just suffering, and then there are those who DO believe in God, understand Him, accept Jesus as their Salvation,, and they come forward publicly,, and accept Him, and give their heart, and their soul to Him... and then when they appear in front of God, they are directed into Heaven,, and not into that lake! How ,,, just how do all those above ,, all of us know of this, for many have asked this question, and the only answer I have ever came up with is this, he entered my mind, told me of His all,, and then I had to either believe or not believe.... so I just say this.... HOW DO I KNOW THESE THINGS, FOR HE HAS TOLD ME SO!!! and brothers ans sisters,,,,,, that is all I need! How about you,, what do you need, a lighting bolt or some sort of ,,,, what? Lord, thank You for speaking to me,and I ask that all those others you speak to , which I know is to all...that they too,, will say YES to YOU! amen John HIcks Yes, I know ,,,,,,,, for He told me so!!!!!!!!!

BEING THANKFUL!

Thoughts For Today-Tuesday-02/03/15 (4) People me To me Today at 7:11 AM TUESDAY! I have awoken to another of His days, by His mercy, and His good will,,,and to serve Him in a good way,,, and folks ,,,that is why I am alive and up this morning,, just how did you wake up? The same way, even if you don't realize it, He is for real!!!! We, today are off to another of Libby's therapy, and she is improving so very much, thank God for His work!!! Prayer Request: Thomas Osborns' dad, went to ER with leg swelling real bad! Dana Stephens dad who is in the Medical Center in Macon, GA. Marjorie Walden as she enters her surgery, for God to guide the drs. JoAnn House Samples, that God will revoke satan from her and David and deliver to her all her needs, for we know that satan will try us over and over,, and as JoAnn keeps her faith. let us pray with her... for God to show up full force !!!! and give her relief!!!!! and we know He will! Lots to pray for today, our wants and our and those of others needs.. so let us pray, without ceasing!!! Prayer of Thanks: For the Yatesvile water meter reporter. who looked at my meter, realized that we were using much , much to much water,,, went and reported to our city clerk, Connie Vaughn,, and upon looking and seeing we had used 22,000 gallons more,, her husband Jim Vaughn, undertook the trek to come to us at once..so we could close our meter, and get our leak fixed! Now, you may live in place of "no care", but we do live in a place call,,,,"A CARING COMMUNITY",,, and this proves it once more, and I say to them all thanks, and I also say, a big thanks to God for them , and here!!!! Another Prayer of Thanks: Names are not to be present here , just me and friend!!!! As I set yesterday , all day in pj's, figuring out why I was here, and why I should do anything, as I wasted a day of God's gift,, and then the phone rang, a great and good friend called, and after a great conversation, I again was back to myself and knowing just where , and why I was here! Have you ever had this happen to you, if you have, then do as I did, say "thank You God!, and thank You for this friend and Your guidance of this event".. and the rest was easy, go to work for Him! God, today, I have asked and you have once more gave me the answers.. and now I say to You God, thank You for Your answer, so simple and yet so missed by so many..again, God thanks to You,,, for the answer! amen John HIcks AND WHAT WAS THAT ANSWER, SO SIMPLE, SO EASY,, FOR HE SAID, WHY ARE YOU THERE ON MY EARTH, ALIVE? TO SERVE ME! Well to all who reads this???? What else can it be.. for He gave me Jesus , to make sure I was with to eternity, and the on, and on.. so yes folks it is that simple, SERVE HIM!

GET ON THE SOAPBOX OF GOD!

MONDAY! Good to wake up with the Lord Jesus, and accepting Him as your only way to God, and Heaven, that is to stay up there!!! and to put Him in charge of the highway that you travel through this life! If you have made this choice, you have made a choice of a "lifetime eternal!". if not, you still have time to do it,,,right this second,,, maybe longer, maybe not! but it is certainly YOUR CHOICE!!!!! Prayer Request: That the world will turn to God, accept Jesus as the Savior of this world, and the only way to God, is by Him! Let this world be your soapbox, and I ask for all to pray for more REAL CHRISTIANS to move to that soapbox, STEP UP ON IT, AND GIVE TESTIMONY TO THE WORLD! God, thank You for this life, Your guidance of it,, and as I have accepted Jesus, I look forward to meeting you, instead of dreading it. amen John HIcks Servant Only.

SUNDAY! Good morning this great day of the Lord!! This, today will have to be short,, as after the going under the house yesterday, no sleep, last night, just toss and turn, up at three, drinking coffee,, walking very unsteady, and dizzy,, I will just say this, we have water.... thank God! May God bless each one of you and may you have a blessed day! Prayer Request: For my little Grand-daughter,,Anna Claire Franklin who has the flu, her mother Terri Hicks Franklin, took her to the "doc in the box" in Griffin, and she was very sick with high fever, and sick,, and quickly diagnosed with the flu! Gt well,,, Anna we love you! Lord, thank You for our all..amen John HIcks

GOD IS REAL AND HERE!

SATURDAY! Good morning all!! I have awoken at 4 a.m. and had my coffee, and am now ready for anything,,, well to tell the truth,, almost anything,, well, really nothing, just having some fun, for I am so full of the Lord today, that I might explode! Ha! and as big as I am, look out ,, hide , cover up!!! Yes, God wants us to have fun in our lives, but be serious and respectfully to Him, ,and to His Son, Jesus! I had a great story of my bout with diabetes, of how it occurred, how I accepted it, and how God used it for His own! And then I thought of it, prayed to Him that I had nothing to write this morning,,, and then it came to me, HE HAD JUST GAVE IT TO ME! I CONTRACTED DIABETES,, GOD HAS NOT GIVEN THE CURE YET... HE SHOWED ME HE WAS GOD,, BY SHOWING ME OF THE MEDICINES USED TO CONTROL IT, AND HOW HE WAS IN CHARGE, THAT IF I LIVED BY THESE MEDICINES ONLY, I WOULD DIE IN THIS WORLD,,,,FOR IT TOOK NOT THE MEDICINES HE HAD MAN MAKE, BUT THE USE OF THEM, AND THE GOOD SENSE TO KNOW OF THE CONDITION, AND THAT IT TOOK THE FAITH , THAT HE IS SAYING, "I WILL GIVE THESE TO YOU,, BUT YOU MUST ALSO DO SOME YOURSELF,,, LIKE , LOOK AT WHAT YOU EAT, AND HOW YOU EXERCISE"... So ,, to me,, this is saying , with all that man can do, can give, life is only as He(God) tells you, shows you and to get this life???? and that IS TO LISTEN TO HIM! DO YOU HEAR ME? God, thank You, for You always come through for me, in Your way, and not mine! amen John HIcks See,, how He says, "WHAT?" "You said you don't have anything to write?",, "yu prayed to me for something?" "Boy,, you will just never learn!" Praise unto the one , the only God! Now , believe it or not, your choice!

TRIBUTE TO A CHRISTIAN VETERAN OF THE USA!

WEDNESDAY! Good morning to all! I pray that you made your choice today, and it was to have God beside you, by your own request.... and that you have made the decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior...you believe all of the above, and that you practice as best as you can, and love , love, for love is the best medicine for all! Prayer of Mourning: Our Christian Vietnam, Veteran, that served for our freedom, contracted agent orange, had the tumor in his chest, was moved to hospice, and died less than a day or two...Mr. Mike Owens! I am in mourning , not for that he is dead, but that it took another Veteran, another Christian to take this man, and try to give him the best of his last days here, for all else turned their backs, and I mention no name of this other vet... for that is what he would want! I cry "VICTORY" for Mister Owens, for his statement was right up to the last, He had accepted Jesus, and he was prepared,,,, and that is something that all cannot say! so , this morning is dedicated to this one man, who not only served his country, unconditional, and it still caused his death here on this earth, while we live out ours with freedom.. but that even knowing all the addictions of pain of this disease and all else he suffered from internally, he did the one thing that I challenge all to do this day, is to do as he did, right up until death, here and that was to CRY OUT!!!! I AM READY, YES READY TO MEET MY MASTER, FOR ALL THAT IS WRONG WITH ME NOW,,,, OUTSIDE AND INSIDE....... I HAVE ACCEPTED MY LORD, AND I AM READY!! Can you say this, could you be this brave on your death bed,, well could you..so today let us remember this man and make this day A USA VETERAN, MISTER OWENS DAY! God., you received a good man, thank You for him. amen\ John HIcks Servant to God! Different today, I will see how it is received, for I write the truth of a man who lived hard, but died with dignity!!!!

Good morning all,,, I hope we all woke the same today, with our God beside us, by request, and He is there even if we do not request, waiting on that sentence,, "God, please walk and go with me through this day, and all my life".,,,So it is up to you and it is your choice! Today is "Therapy Day" for Libby, and I pray it is as good as previous, for she is getting better and better! SAD NEWS: The missing couple found, and found dead! Such a waste, but God knows best, doubt Him not, even if I am sad of the outcome! I write as I feel that God gives me to write, even lots are very doubtful of this, but that is not what matters,,, it is "doing work for God ,,, is always, good,, and it is always right"! So today, as at a lot of times, I have to pray and pray hard for continued writing of these thoughts,, for since 2007, I have only missed one week, and a few days,, not God's failings , but mine.. all the days and years, His, not mine! and today I must say, I have to really pray that He will continue to give me the "good news",,,, and whether some like or like not ,, well that is their choice.... for I say, and I write what I think God tells me to write... and today I will only say this , and it is very simple, and I believe this with all my heart, and if you feel I am wrong about this, you can send me an email ,, or as I have been putting it on FB,, you can comment..... for that also is your choice! Am I upset today,, you bet,,, for I believe this, and I believe this very deeply,,,, EITHER YOU BELIEVE IN GOD, OR YOU DON'T , AND THAT IS YOUR CHOICE!,,, BUT IF YOU DON'T, THEN YOU LOOK AROUND AND SEE THE THINGS MADE , NOT BY MAN FOR WE ARE NOT THAT SMART, SO IF YOU ARE A DIS-BELIEVER, SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH YOU! I ALSO BELIEVE IN THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN IS THROUGH AND BY THE CROSS OF JESUS CHRIST, AND THROUGH ACCEPTING HIM! NOW IF THEIR IS ANY OPPOSITE FEELING OF THIS, GO AHEAD AND WRITE IT OUT, BUT YOU NOR satan,, WILL TAKE MY BELIEF FROM ME! NOW ,,, AS THE OLD SAYING GOES,,,,,"PUT THAT IN YOUR PIPE AND SMOKE IT" Why this today????? I feel AMERICA, and the WORLD,,, is slipping, and God wants us to talk to Him,, and His creation will continue,, otherwise, well you think about the outcome!!!!!!!!!! Have you said hello to your Lord God, asked Him to be with you through your day, and your life! I say today,"Thank You Lord, for being so forgiving , and so loving, and having me in Your flock!" If you are not in that "flock"m then remember, it is your choice, and He gave it to you to use, as you want? So what is your Want? Prayer Request: Please keep praying for Lori Passmore, with a broken pelvis: Her report: An update on my broken pelvis: I'm kinda sorta at the place where the pain is "bearable". I don't want to brag because it will start whit intense pain again. Trust me, they have me well medicated too, and I stay sleepy all of the time but I will take sleepy over pain any day!!! Also , the Dunaway Family of their lost! Prayer of Thanks: For God's healing power on Libby's arm! She is in therapy, and it is going great, but she is so sore, she almost gets sick, but she goes without her Velcro cast a lot, by request of her therapist, and she is doing better every day!! Praise God, for we give HIM the credit of the recovery, and we never doubt of the why, that is His decision and we still love Him in any thing He decides! THE WORK IS ALSO OUT THERE IN THE FIELD! From my daily Bible reading,, which usually I read after the thoughts, but was led today to pick up that Bible and so it first, for this is what I feel should be sent out to the world!!!1 The Grandpa had his grandchildren at his house, and after waking at 5 a.m., they all had to feed the animals for the morning,, then at 6 a.m. they had homemade biscuits, eggs, and all the b'frast trimmings. Then when this was finished,, Grandpa said this: THE WORK IS NOW DONE WITH OUR CHORES AT HOME! BUT... THE WORK IS OUT THERE IN THE FIELD!!! YES, CHRISTIANS , WE DO OUR THINGS AT HOME , INSIDE OF THE CHURCH, OR IN ALL OUR OTHER FELLOWSHIPS, BUT WE NEED TO REMEMBER... THE WORK IN THE FIELD!! ARE WE WORKING THE FIELD? OR JUST OURSELVES? Lord, I ask that we all and especially me, will not only worship you at home, church, but get out there in the field and plant the seeds of Jesus ,, our Salvation! amen John HIcks Not bragging,, but every chance I get,, I ask people to take one of those little a8 inch white crosses and put one in their yard, that is what I love ..and that I know is pleasing to God! and no, I am not trying to sound like I am making you or anyone feel like they are being bad by not doing this, I am just offering in His Name, and YOU must make that choice, of yes or no!!! I do what I think is called "FIELD WORK"! and what do you call it?

ARE YOU A PRACTICING CHIRISTIAN?

SUNDAY! The day set aside for our God! Next question for today!!!,,,,, Are you a Christian?,, A practicing Christian?, and what is the difference? This is something YOU must answer for yourself, for YOU are the one who will stand before God for YOUR life, and for YOUR way YOU lived it! Judgement is not ours to do,,, but God's only... Jesus is our Salvation, and our only Salvation! Folks there are no others, and that is a fact ,,, jack!!! Your Choice to make, so make it or not, for I judge you not, but HE will! Prayer Request: Please will all stop, and pray this day for the following:This Sunday, January 25th, Yatesville Baptist will be holding a special service for the ordination of John Wesley Long, IV. The Reverends Terry Threadgill and Steve Maguire, both former Pastors of Yatesville Baptist, will be leading the ordination ceremony, which will take place during our 11:00am Worship Service. This young man is definitely a "God Called Preacher!"!!!!! God, please be with our church today and may you bless John Wesley, even more than he is now, and please give him his full rein... and let him run wild with YOUR word to all!!!!...and all the churches of Yours, to run wide open and to carry your word from the church to the outside also! amen John HIcks As my two oldest children use to come in to our house singing.. Train Ride From Birth Until!

It is here, now,, so who did you ask to be with you first and foremost? Your choice! Today I want to post some-thing a really good friend of mine, Lori,,, sent me.. remember the "Gospel Train" I am always hollering, ALL ABOARD, AND JESUS IS THE CONDUCTOR AND THE ENGINEER, TRACK HEADED TO HEAVEN? Well ,, this is right along with it.. At birth we boarded the train and met our parents, and we believe they will always travel on our side. However, at some station our parents will step down from the train, leaving us on this journey alone. As time goes by, other people will board the train; and they will be significant i.e. our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of your life. Many will step down and leave a permanent vacuum. Others will go so unnoticed that we don't realize they vacated their seats. This train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes, and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves. The mystery to everyone is: We do not know at which station we ourselves will step down. So, we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are. It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty we should leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life. I wish you a joyful journey on the train of life. Reap success and give lots of love. More importantly, thank God for the journey. Today, is short,,, I said , love all those you meet, the person, not maybe what they are doing, are the way they are acting, for as I heard on Facebook page this morning, more on LOVE than I have ever heard,, except maybe Valentines Day! Yes, from loving Sisters, Mothers, Dads, Brothers, friends,, straight , gay, no matter the way of a person, but the purest love of the person.. THINK: Did Jesus love only those close ones at the Cross, His disciples,,,only? NO! NO!,, for Jesus loved , even the soldier who had beat Him while carrying the Cross, the one who nailed the spikes, the ones who cheered "CRUCIFY HIM,, CRUCIFY HIM! YES HE LOVED THEM ALL, AND HE LOVES US ALL TODAY, BELIEVE THIS, AND ACCEPT HIM! and be free from satan... I DECLARE TO ALL , I LOVE YOU ALL!!!! God, I do ask for special prayers this day, for little Hayden Hayes,,,,Kristy and Jeff's Hayes son, who is having his tonsils taken out this very morning! Instead of watching footballs fly, 17 million viewers chose to watch the season premiere of The Walking Dead, a series featuring foul zombies creating endless havoc. Just a few weeks later, nearly 15 million people tuned in to yet another episode, easily surpassing that night’s matchup between the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs. That program is just one of numerous television programs that have garnered tremendous followings by fixating on gore and death. At least half a dozen prime time shows are strangely enamored and captivated by it. These shows, when combined with hugely popular video games like Mortal Kombat, demonstrate how obsessed with death our culture has become. However, despite our society’s fascination and obsession with death, there is virtually no understanding of the eternal consequences that death brings. Amazingly, as much as the entertainment industry cranks out movies and programs that are preoccupied with death scenes and motifs, death is not a subject often candidly discussed. I think that’s because we would prefer to portray death on a purely fictional level and avoid its stark reality. The Bible says that once a person dies, he will face the judgment of God. “It is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). There is no reincarnation. There is no second chance. Death is serious, eternal business. Once our physical hearts beat for the last time, we will instantly find ourselves either in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in all His splendor, or in the pit of hell away from His presence. “They [those who do not know or obey God] will suffer the punishment of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His might, when He [Jesus Christ] comes on that day to be glorified in His saints, and to be marveled at among all who have believed” (2 Thessalonians 1:9-10). Death is not a fictional television series. It is not a popular gaming topic. It is the entryway into either eternal life or eternal death. And a culture that treats it as mere fantasy and amusing entertainment does so at its peril. The Scripture is clear that death is a consequence of sin. It came as a result of mankind’s rebellion against God in the Garden. Adam and Eve were fully warned of what would happen if they chose to disobey God’s instruction not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil: “In the day that you eat of it you will surely die” (Genesis 2:17). We all know what happened. Man rebelled, chose to disobey God, and the sentence of death was pronounced. Physical, biological death became dead certain for every person who has ever lived. Great men die. Obscure men die. Rich men and poor men alike die. “Sin came into the world through one man (Adam) and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12). Death, ultimately, has nothing to do with health or climate or geography or genes. Sin brought death, physically and spiritually. That’s why the Scripture speaks of two deaths (Revelation 20:14). The first death is when our bodies expire. The second death is the eternal death of the soul. The glorious good news of the Gospel is that Jesus Christ, who died and rose again, has alone defeated the dread enemy of death. Jesus, the Son of God, our Redeemer and Savior, bore our sins on the cross, suffered the punishment of our sins—death—on our behalf, and offers full forgiveness for all who trust personally in Him. As A.W. Tozer once remarked: “The once born die twice, and the twice born die once.” That is, those who have not repented of sin and turned to Christ will experience both physical and spiritual death. They will be judged by a holy God, found guilty of their sin and cast into the lake of fire. The person who has trusted in Christ for the forgiveness of sin will die physically, but not spiritually—his sins are atoned for by the blood of Christ. The wages of sin is death, but God’s gift of eternal life is free to all who believe on His Name (Romans 6:23). Everyone who believes in Christ is transferred from death to life (John 5:24). No one who believes in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ will perish (experience the second death), but will have everlasting life (John 3:16). Wherever Christianity flourishes, there is a vibrant culture of life, not death. When the precepts of the Christian faith are faithfully taught and followed, there is an abundance of selfless, sacrificial living and giving. For centuries, Christians have been at the forefront of saving and giving life. Mission hospitals around the world are beacons of light and hope in sin-sick cultures. Christian physicians, nurses and health care providers often forsake lucrative careers and even risk their lives to reach the poor and suffering. Churches around the world feed the hungry, clothe the naked and bring help to the helpless and hope to the hopeless. In places like Europe, where Christianity has been in decline as the deceptive forces of secularism and materialism have spread across the continent, it’s not surprising to find the practice of euthanasia so entrenched. Earlier this year, Belgium became the first country in the world to allow child euthanasia with no age limit. I’m concerned that America is not far behind. The euthanasia movement—disguised now as “death with dignity”—is gaining ground in a number of states. And for every 1,000 live births in the United States, 219 pregnancies end with a murdered child, through abortion. I don’t think there’s any doubt that this rise in the culture of death in our own country coincides with the embrace of an immoral, sinful, godless worldview that rejects Christ. Christianity is constantly under siege from the halls of government and education, which seek to suppress any public expressions of faith. Yet bold, biblical Christianity is the only antidote to the devilish, dark culture of sin and death that seeks to enslave and ultimately damn people for eternity. We must never cease to preach, teach and live the truth of the Gospel. Prayer Requests: For Martha Stone, who is suffering from severe hip pain, and has been told rest at home, and the first of Feb. she will have surgery,,, Martha is one of God's biggest helpers,, in being a "warrior " of His, is taking the message to all she sees and I mean taking it ,,, she goes thousand of thousands of miles a year,, , so pray all goes well, pain ceases, and she will be back in that truck soon, delivering the word of God!!! For a special person to me,,, that God will enter their body, and heal them from all ailments, and especially that God heals this anonymous person by allowing that person to defeat depression and have peace. DO YOU HEAR IT? We ask a lot of times,, why did God let that storm hit those people, why did He take those lives, why did He take that one so young, why did He let this , and that happen??? IF He loves us? Well here is my take on this.....and as usual , it is my opinion that I prayed over this morning so here goes as He,, I believe guided me to write, believe it or not!... God does love us all,, for He made us, and if He had not loved us, then He would not have done this... as for those destroyed in abortion, I am here to tell you that He is there to grab that little one, for conception is life.. but He is there to save this little one, and also there to judge that one who decided to do this terrible thing... for the storms, it is a way, to tell us of just how strong He is, and how powerful He can be!...Thank of lighting , how much, and how many are just popped here and there, thousands upon thousands in one storm,,and go from cloud to ground, He is showing His might... and at times, in some places it is like He is showing us ,,, He can clean our houses(us),,, for when we let our house fill with crap, and mold, (that represents sin to this example),, we clean it,, we live,,,, or we live in it and die a terrible death of infections of all sorts!!! We need to keep our house in order at all times!!!!! I say, as we get up and listen real hard,,,,, and we hear the world...now listen, and listen with caution,,,the groaning, the growling on our streets, on the screens of our T.V.s,,,,, on the screens of our computers, phones or other devices, then listen and listen close ,,, for all those groans and growls, it is God walking up and down them ,, AND ,,, when the day comes, and you wake up and listen to the streets, and all these other devices,, and you don't hear these groans, and growls,, then God has COME, AND CLEANED THIS EARTH UP COMPLETELY ,,,, AND YOU HAVE WOKE UP IN,,, HEAVEN,,, AND IF YOU DO HEAR THE GROANS, GROWLS, SCREAMING, THEN GOD HAS COME,,, AND YOU HAVE WOKE UP IN HELL!! So folks, it is time ,,,, that we all spend more time with our heads bowed, worshiping the REAL GOD!,, asking for His directions, and living for Him, and cleaning up our own homes,, and to be ready to hear the silence,, rather than the noise,, how are you this morning , with your hearing? Ready or Not? God , be with us all, give us the insight to make the real decision of You, over all else...amen John HIcks WOW!
